This place was so great ! We stopped in during happy hour, which is 1:50pm-5pm and had 3 sushi rolls at $4 each, and two beers at $4 each, so pretty good deals, especially for this area! Additionally , my husband and I had to try the shrimp po'boy as this is a favorite of ours. Everything was SO good . We cleaned our plates !! I would highly recommend the shredder roll, which has Colorado bass in it and is fried All of the seafood was extremely fresh and high quality . Also, in talking with the waiter we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, and he gave us two glasses of champagne on the house ! So nice . Would definitely recommend ! read more

Don't get hooked. I would be shocked if they around next year. I made a reservation 2 months ago for a party of 3. When we arrived, we were told our reservation was at the small bar without any previous mention. There were 3 tables open and given we were with a small service dog, I would have expected some type of accommodation outside of sharing three small bar chairs plus dog. After 10 min of the hostess scrambling and a very scattered manager, we were forced to sit at the bar. We had to place our service dog on one stool and had to share 2 stools amongst the 3 adults which no one seemed to notice or comment upon. The manager did not even see to it that we would be comfortable or offer an extra stool. Beyond the horrendous level of service, the food was mediocre at best. The rolls were soggy and all tasted the same. Presentation lacked creativity or effort. Our server was kind and that's the only positive thing I can say. We have lived in this area part time for the last 10 years and are very familiar with the restaurants in Edwards, Beaver Creek and Vail. i can say with confidence this is a massive disappointment compared to the quality of service and dining we are accustomed to. The boyfriend and I stumbled in look for a light bite....we didn't know we needed basically everything on the menu until we actually sat down and saw the menu! Dom, our server, was fantastic. He gave us several recommendations. What was even more impressive, though, was the fish monger who swung by with a platter of fish and explained all their current selections, how to prepare them, and what to pair them with. I have never experienced this before and it was really awesome! In another life I definitely want to be a fish monger. While we opted for other menu options, I would love to come back to get a whole fish prepared into a roll, ceviche, and a cooked plate. Tthey have a very impressive Apres menu. We started with Edamame, a serving of two oysters with the fixings, the graffiti fries (a little spicier than expected) and the Shredder roll (awesome). Kris got the "My Tuna Sandwich". HOLY SH*T this is one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. The sauce is unbelievable. I could eat this daily for lunch for the rest of my life. It is absolutely worth a try. I need them to send me the recipe. We also got the Honeymoon roll and it was really good as well. Honestly, though, nothing will compare to that sandwich. When we return to Beaver Creek in the near future, we'll definitely be back to this spot. Went there for dinner last night and had a crunchy shrimp roll and a California roll. I knew when I first bit into the California roll something was wrong so I continued to eat the crunchy shrimp roll. This was a mistake, I soon came to realize. After passing by this place multiple times during our stay in the village, we decided to try it. It's a small space that gets packed during prime dinner hours. Luckily, we came in later and avoided the crowd. We ordered quite a bit for two people. The food was good, some dishes better than others. Our main course was a $45/lb whole fish which was prepared half cooked and half raw. We left it up to the chef. I was left a little underwhelmed by the poke and sushi, but the nigiri and fried portions were yummy. We also got live uni, raw oysters, abalone, and a side salad. These were great selections. As far as service, I expected better. The hostess was very welcoming and polite. Our server was too busy doing her side work to finish her shift to check up on us. We sat with empty drink glasses for a while. Also, make sure you check your bill. We were charged $55/lb for the whole fish. Although, there wasn't any issues once we brought it to their attention. We have been coming to Beaver Creek for years and years, and have tried almost every restaurant that has come and gone, but to my knowledge, this is the first sushi place in the village. Today was our fifth or sixth time here, and we absolutely love it. Most often, we grab a table in their patio area for happy hour (tastes great after a day on the slopes). Our favorite rolls are the Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Shredder. Also, their calamari is delicious. Many of the reviews here are spot on. The food is outstanding. Likely the best Seafood within a 50 mile radius. The issue is the attempts at up selling to some huge meal. It's kind of ridiculous how hard they try. But I was fully prepared for their attempts and ignored it. The service was good, but we went for an early dinner so didn't have a full restaurant to deal with. Prices are expensive, but that's all of beaver Creek for you. My biggest complaint was actually the tables. They are Tiny and uncomfortable! I get they want to stuff as many seats in there as they can, but wow it felt claustrophobic to me. One of the best overall dining experiences I've had in awhile. My husband and I stopped in here on a Saturday night without a reservation. Fortunately, with it being late in the season we were able to get seated right away at the bar. This place has a great vibe to it and it's casual. The menu has fantastic seafood options. We almost decided what we wanted to order until our server recommended we do the "whole fish" option which sounded like something they were known for. Upon choosing that option, another staff member came by with 5 fish on a platter. He described in detail what each were, the flavors, textures, etc. Hooked gets most of their fish from Hawaii and Japan. We went with a fish in the bass family, I can't recall the actual name of the fish we went with. Included in the Whole Fish dinner are several other small plates including sushi, fresh sashimi, and ceviche. I had no idea it actually came with so much food! Wish we skipped the edamame appetizer. It was absolutely delicious, the fish melt in your mouth. When we received the whole fish we we were very impressed. It's cooked to perfection and is a huge whole fish, hence the name. One part of the fish is cooked pretty basic olive oil, another part with herb seasoning. It was the perfect amount of food for two people. Service was great, we really enjoyed everything. Hooked is a great place to go for dinner and not your average restaurant. We will absolutely be back next time we are in BC. read more

The food was incredible! We had a couple drinks with the bartender- I wish we knew his name- he had dark hair and a bun; he was fantastic and great suggestions on what to order. Our meal and service was amazing, the food was delicious. The server was great, except on our way out she rudely commented to put a mask on. My dad lost his mask and she was not kind about it even though he has just spent hundreds and left a good tip. We liked her a lot until that point. I don't mind being asked to put on a mask, but it's the manner in which you ask! Overall really great meal and enjoyed the atmosphere sitting in the tent "outside". We loved it! I had water and my husband ordered a Tennessee Old Fashioned. The bill was $100.00 which we were expecting. My husband left a 20% tip then realized there was a space for a kitchen tip. The 'whole fish' option was great from start--when the fishmonger showed us our options and carefully (almost lovingly) described each one--through all the attendant sashimi courses, to the cooked-two-ways finale. We also ordered the XTC lobster roll and the Japanese root vegetables, which were both incredible as well. I'm a stickler for fish quality, and this place delivers. Don't let the variety of creative rolls deceive you--if you know what I mean. It seems that most of the negative reviews here are based on the price, and it might be fair to mark this place $$$$ instead of the current $$$. The clam chowder served in a bread boule was nice.c largely owing to the fresh sourdough bread, which you can also get separately. We tried the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and rainbow rolls. All were good, but got better in that order. I appreciated the lack of excess mayo usage that many mediocre sushi places abuse. This is probably one of the better restaurants experiences my husband and I have had since moving to CO. The service was excellent, the recommendations were spot on and the food was creative and so delicious. We went with the chefs choice and selected the branzino. The dishes were coursed out as crudo style followed by a sashimi style then the remaining fish was cooked to perfection in a robustly flavored miso sauce. Amazing! Not sure why the reviews are low but our experience was more then expected. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a wonderful red blend for us. Evan the manager waited on us because it's a slow season and told us about the fresh whole fish option. It was AMAZING!!! Half was raw, our choice, half was cooked. Not disappointed by any of it. I dined in this restaurant during my recent vacation to the area. The restaurant is close to the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and, typical of the area, quite expensive. We were promptly seated and provided with menus and water. Since I was told they specialized on fresh fish I decided to order Salmon Origami, their name for fish "en papillote" (which I had many times before). Presentation was plain with all ingredients inside the parchment bag where they were cooked, not unusual for this dish but on the plain side. Upon opening the bag there was a small salmon filet skin down with a few small pieces of julienned vegetables. The first thing I noticed was the presence of multiple fish bones on the final product, not something I expect at this price. The salmon however was perfectly cooked, no doubt, the main problem (other than the bones) was the lack of seasoning. Of course adding salt after the fact is a poor remedy for under seasoned food. At that price point I demand much more than what I got. Would I try it again? Most likely not. read more

Went last week for my fiancé's birthday and the service was great and really did make his birthday fantastic! Had the hooked tacos which are incredible. Several different rolls. The special roll of the day was made with a basil/garlic combo and was one of the best rolls I've ever had! All very fresh and unique. We also tried the daily sashimi sampler plate which was really fun to try a wide variety of fresh fish! $$$ restaurant but very worth the price as the quality of the food is top notch! Will definitely be back and the expansion of the restaurant looks beautiful. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Beaver Creek, Avon, maybe even the entire Valley! read more

Loved this place! We came with our two children 17 mos and 7 years after a full day of traveling. The staff was prompt and service attentive without being intrusive. They bent over backwards to make our kids happy. We felt welcome despite their wild behavior. Cocktails were stiff and made well. House mai-tai will knock your socks off. Our meal was amazing. We had the whole fish 1/2 sushi and 1/2 cooked (chimichurri & miso glaze). It was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I cannot recommend this place enough.
