So this might be a review of the delivery company versus the restaurant. I am not sure who my wife was speaking to. The conversation is below. So ordered from here twice. Last night two simple rolls. Arrived. My daughters and I had zero expectations and they ended up doing better than what was expected for being in the middle of the continental US. My one daughter who is a food critic of whatever I make, said 'it's not that bad'. So I'm guessing this place is a pass. Fast forward to tonight. We ordered for all 3 girls as well as well as myself and my wife. 380 dollars for what amounted to several rolls. My wife looked at the tab and immediately said something was wrong. She called. I overheard the entire conversation. Apparently to the website prices and the prices wherever she ordered from are inaccurate. Now here is where I got involved. My wife was dumbfounded by the elevated price with the less Then substantial s@&$ pieces of sushi. I looked at what was delivered and it certainly wasn't 389 dollars worth of food. So there was a back and forth where the person on the phone acknowledged a misrepresentation of pricing but didn't want to make an adjustment on the receipt. MIND YOU from my perspective, I was already telling my wife 'let this be'. Well the girl on the other end heard that and even though she is a customer service representative she decided to hang the phone up before my wife did. I slept in the dog house that night paying 400 dollars for 80-120 dollars worth of sushi. If you want sushi, go somewhere else. If you want to maintain a reasonable relationship with your wife, go somewhere else. The food is mediocre. If you're hungry and stuck in an avalanche, order from them as long as your wife is not sitting next to you or learn how to fly fish. read more

Came here the other day in person finally after ordering delivery several times and falling in love! My friends and I got lunch and drinks and it was delicious and decently priced. Some friends and I went to the friends and family soft opening here. They've done a good job freshening up the space. The lighting is bright and welcoming. We chatted with a bunch of the locals, regulars, and staff. We even chatted with Lily for a bit. She's so sweet. We had a veritable sampling of the menu. I know they're not fully open yet, but we had some xiaolongbao which were delicious, followed by a bunch of rolls and some nigiri. Then we had some ramen that was also really good. I would recommend the tonkatsu ramen. The spicy ramen was also good, but I think the tonkatsu was better tonight. I was so full that I could barely move afterwards and had to lay down. I'll be there pretty often I believe so come say hi if you see me! read more

Dropped into this eatery while in town for work. Fast friendly service, clean dining room. Sushi was great with a large variety. Gyoza was nothing too memorable. Price was a bit expensive but reasonable considering being in Beaver Creek. Give it a try. read more

I came here for lunch the other day and was impressed across the board. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful and I love the plants they have displayed throughout the restaurant. I have been coming to the Beaver Creek/Vail area for decades. Out side of the few extremely highly rated and priced sushi restaurants, it has always been difficult to find a place where you can ware jeans and enjoy quality sushi at reasonable prices. Enter Lily Sushi.....friendly staff, and amazing quality. I really didn't know what to expect. I just found my go to place, abundant parking, low key, yet scrumptious food. Service was great. Food was good not great. In fact, we didn't like one of the things we had but the management was super accommodative. Gave us a free dessert and was apologetic to no end. After hearing from several friends and locals about how great Lily's Sushi is, we finally decided to give it a try--and wow, it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Everything we ordered was on point: the crispy rice was perfectly done, the ginger salad was fresh and flavorful, the kani salad was so good, and the tonkotsu ramen was rich and comforting. We also shared a roll that was incredibly fresh and well-balanced. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, which makes it even better. While I am a decades long local in the Eagle Valley, my background is extensive in both working for and consuming sushi around the United States and beyond. I have worked in high end sushi restaurants and also in not so high end, when you do not have a good chef. I cannot fathom how anyone would rate this restaurant highly in any regard. The ambiance is like people trying to board a train that is full at DIA, and the entire restaurant sounds like a stadium, but with no game (and also dozens of dissatisfied customers waiting for food that was said to be ready 45 minutes before they started to complain). I can understand a busy restaurant but it was also abysmal in its service and quality. They have a line out the door because they are new, but that does not reflect the quality of their product. We ordered sashimi and very simple rolls. The cuts of fish were beyond subpar and the traditional rolls were a complete mess and splitting before they even arrived. When ordering (and paying for) fresh (hon) wasabi as advertised, we were served kizami wasabi, which is pickled. Pickled is the absolute opposite of fresh, but the staff was not shy in arguing that it was fresh wasabi. The staff is overwhelmed, but the fish does not taste fresh, the rolls are falling apart at the seam, the wait time given when you arrive is a farce, and the employees refuse to acknowledge any of those facts. You should seek anywhere other than this restaurant for decent sushi. Their prices may be less expensive than other restaurants (not all) but the quality is less than supermarkets in the Valley. I have attached a photo of their unhinged rolls and terrible yellowtail jalapeño appetizer which appeared to have just sriracha squirted on top. Stay away at all costs. Came here based on the recommendation of a few friends. Stopped by for an early dinner. Sushi bar was humming and the staff were fast and attentive. The owners have been in the area for a while and this is a new location for them. We shared the crispy sushi rice with tuna tartare starter and it was super flavorful and perfectly executed. For mains I had the crispy chicken ramen and she had the veggie ramen. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. The broth in mine was deep in flavor and balanced well with the noodles, veggies and perfectly cooked egg. They obviously took the time to create the ramen broth in both of our dishes. The location is not ideal from street perspective but if you take the time to park and find it, you will not be disappointed! read more
