a plate of sushi rolls on a table
D H.

This is a great local restaurant in the Vail Valley located in Edwards. The food is ALWAYS exceptional!!! Miso Soup, Dynamite Shrimp are fantastic starters! ANY sushi or sashimi you order is going to be fresh and of the absolute highest quality!!! Rolls, rolls, and more rolls. So many common rolls found at great sushi restaurants paired alongside so many custom rolls - something for every diet and taste! Fresh air!!! Beautiful mountains!!! And, fresh Sushi!!!

food little salty that being said food service was horrible did not feel welcome at this place felt rushed with our food when it got to our table it wasn't busy at all clearly then one of our server who came and got our plate made me felt even more rushed by yelling to ask if we were done yet alone her experience with that place for 16 years shows that for sure will not be coming back to that place yet alone felt discriminated by how front of the house kept looking while we were eating yet alone i felt that my husband had to be my own server cause clearly from the beginning were told of nothing not about specials or drinks or water to begin with yet alone how it was a nice day and shades were down it could of brightened up the place a little felt depressed kinda being in their is how it felt .

$43 in overpriced sushi rolls

Disappointing- They charge you higher prices than what is stated on their website. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and 2 philly rolls. The rolls were 6 tiny pieces each and it was $43 before tax. Don't waste your money here.. drive to Vail to Matsuhisa, the sushi is much better and the rolls are cheaper!

We have had a great time in CO until dinner here. $500 dinner and a horrible experience. Food was terrible and the manager was a jerk.

Are you required to have a reservation?

No, but this is a great place to eat and we have found that starting December 16th and later it gets busy, especially after 7 pm. We went back in February same ski season last year and t was much busier than December. Great sushi!

He was nice and attentive and made sure we loved our meal! It's the very end of ski season so they had a limited menu as well. With this said, it was so delicious! We plan on coming back and ordering takeout for the whole family. Probably some of the best Chinese food I've had!

10 out of 5 This is…read morethe best Asian restaurant in Vail and possibly Colorado. They have a huge menu from sushi to Thai but the stand outs are their Chinese dishes. If you want authentic Szechuan this is the place! What we got: - Wonton soup - homemade dumplings had a good ginger and garlic flavor. Big enough for two as an app. - Double cooked pork - absolutely outstanding. Big portion with vegetables, fermented black beans, so good! - Spicy crispy fish - highly recommend this if you like spicy food. I love this dish whether the chicken or fish variations and this might have been the best I've had! I can't say enough about the Chinese food. We were blown away with how good they were. Our server Patrick was incredible. He was so friendly and welcoming. He's a serious skier and you can often find him backpacking 30+ pounds of cooking gear to make fresh food slope side! We have tried many places in Vail and I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. The interior is small so I recommend making a reservation. Pro tip: it's BYOB so bring a bottle of wine or a few beers!

I ordered the lamp chops, which were presented beautifully. I requested medium-rare, but when I cut into the first piece, it was well done, and the second was the same. The third piece was slightly better, but I called the manager to complain. He assured me that they would replace it and make it perfect. By the time my new meal arrived, my friends had already finished theirs. I cut into the first piece, and it was again well done. The next two pieces were just okay, but I decided to eat them. They promised to replace the well-done piece, but when I tried the lamb, it was not even that great. It had an unusual texture and tasted terrible. I've had a lot of lamb in my life, and this was by far one of the worst I've ever had. To make amends, they gave us three small pieces of Mochi cut in half. Makoto, please do better.

This is a restaurant in Grant Hyatt, and I was anticipating a really nice dining experience…read more.. First of all, I called in for an early reservation (5:30 pm!) here well in advance, so I thought it wouldn't be difficult to snag a decent table...but nope! We ended up sitting in this super-narrow space in the middle of the restaurant by the kitchen AND the restroom. Well, anyone that knows me know that I am claustrophobic, and can't stand being in a tight space like this. We could hear every word said by the couple sitting right next to us...almost close enough to touch us!! It was awful...and I wanted to leave before even sitting down! ANYWAY, I decided to grit my teeth and endure the uncomfortable dining. I started with a very strong drink...this Whisky cocktail (forgot the name), which was ridiculously expensive ($24?), but luckily, very good! We ordered several items to share....Rock Shrimp appetizer, Wagyu Fried Rice, Chicken Ramen Noodle Soup and this fancy appetizer (forgot the name). Rock Shrimp appetizer and the Wagyu Fried Rice were both solid. However, the Chicken Ramen Noodle Soup was utterly tasteless...I could barely down half of it, even with chili sauce added to it. Tasted like really bad Pho (and I'm not even a fan of Pho). The dessert was very good, and I really enjoyed trying the pink Spagetti textured cream. The presentation was very awkward though. Why the brown tray...when this modern white dish (if you call it that?) was cool on its own?? Speaking of presentation, all the dishes were quite sloppy. Everything looked as if they were just slopped unto the dish without a care in the world...and just not fitting for the price points. Needless to say, it was a very disappointing experience for me. The seating itself ruined half of the experience...then the really bland ramen (more like Pho?!?) just seemed to cap it as the worst meal I've had in Vail and Breckenridge. Even the fancy dessert couldn't save it...as it struck me as a bit awkward-tacky? Tight, awkward seating...Limited options on the menu...Poor presentation...and way overpriced! Definitely will not be returning here.
