Must visit for souvenirs from Hawai'i! I loved how there were samples of the different flavors to try, even one full sized cookie. The employees working during my visit were super friendly and kindly answered my questions: All the ingredients for the cookie are from Hawai'i. I wound up purchasing seven cookie tins and one gift box -- everyone who received the gifts loved them and said that the cookies were very tasty. If you have a large purchase, you might as well sign up for the loyalty program, and with a $75+ purchase, you get five additional cookies for free. The employee also gave me a few extra to try with my purchase. There are several locations all over Honolulu so definitely stop into at least one location during your visit!

( Chris Helmsworth Cookie Monster voiceover) The vibe is Honolulu Cookie Company in Honolulu! Did I stutter? YES, HONOLULU! As in Cookie Yummy! Ms. Chrisen (aka Chris) warmly welcomed us! She is so sweet and kind! Told us about the specials. She is a cookie maximizer! And we left with the maximum I could carry in a golf cart. My gosh talk about service! Charisse! She is so surreptitiously pleasant! So helpful! There's samples to try! 5 different kinds. I almost lost my girlish svelte figure on the 13th sample I inhaled. Shhhhh. No one was looking....except for the other patrons wearing matching curtain drapes mumbling something under their breath behind me. Talk about innappropriate curtain pattern appropriation...let's not. The cookies are splendiferous and worth every Ironman competition I just signed up for. Would buy everything again and use my Australian accent! "Maraming Salamat. Mahalo." (Cameo voiceover by the Honorable Noli de Castro ex Vice President of the Philippines) I don't always buy cookies, but when I do it's at Honolulu Cookie Company in Honolulu! Talagang maraming salamat, Ms. Chris & Ms. Charisse! Talagang masarap! Giginhawa ang buong mundo dahil sa cookies dito! Babalik ako, mga kababayan! Mabuhay!

I've had Honolulu Cookie Company plenty of times before. And believe me, they are delicious!!! So I knew I had to bring this back for family and friends. I live in Vegas, and yes there is a location here. But I am not going anywhere near the strip just to get cookies. So I only get to enjoy these treats when I go back to Hawaii or if someone else brings them back. I love the variety of flavors and that you are able to customize your own gift box. They also have pre-made boxes as well. I'm a huge peppermint fan, so I'm glad I got to try this holiday flavor during our visit. My other favorites were guava and dark chocolate dipped Kona coffee. My kids loved the chocolate chip "pineapple cookies." I spent a small fortune, which came in handy since they have a stamp card. The ladies working at this location were so nice and friendly! They had such great hospitality, even towards tourists who weren't as friendly. But it pays to be friendly towards everyone, as they gave me a few samples during my visits. They even started recognizing me and calling me "Las Vegas." Goes to show how many times I went in there lol. There are quite a few locations on Kalakahua Ave, but I went to this one every single time because of how awesome the staff was. Friendly staff, delicious cookies, pay them a visit!!!

Extremely friendly staff! Highly recommended! Heard about this from others in Florida. Located near the water.

These were amazing gifts from family/friends so I recognized the brand, also Hawaiian airlines provided as part of snacks. I tried to avoid this place at all cost for dietary reasons but stopped in on my final night for gifts. So many different varieties. Went with 20 count box (large) which came out to $20 even. Snuck in right before close the store was still very organized. Someone greeted at the door and there was plenty of staff on hand. Felt very welcomed and personalized experience at checkout. Very genuine experience, and was also provided additional cookies on the way out. Will be back! Mahalo!

The best shortbread cookies in a surfboard tin! $19.99 for a box of 15.
    Sandee L.

Love the dipped shortbread cookies in any flavor. There's pretty much a store on every corner in Oahu. No more free sample bins in the stores, probably due to COVID. We did receive a dipped shortbread, albeit broken, when we checked out with our purchase. HCC used to be pretty exclusive but now you can find some select flavors at Costcos throughout the US. Be careful of them melting if you're buying them for gifts! Ours melted in only 80 degree weather in transit. Less risky if you buy them last minute at the airport (same prices), but they don't have as much variety of cute tin containers.

    Jillian S.

Delicious, buttery cookies and free samples! Stop in for a free sample (flavors vary) and fill a box with a variety of flavors (5 cookies for $5.95). They also have cute pineapple tins. We tried the chocolate guava, white chocolate guava, dark chocolate coconut, mango macadamia, dark chocolate Kona coffee, and guava. We enjoyed each of the flavors. They are the ideal size and have good flavor. We took the cookies with us when exploring the island and they made a tasty snack.

BEST honolulu cookie company store. specifically this one

Charisse is THE NICEST person with the most stellar customer service we've ever received. we've been to 3 other Honolulu cookie companies on this same road because we love the cookies but by FAR this is the best one. the friendliness and how we're treated is worlds different from this same store at a different location. would recommend specifically this one location. Charissa was so kind and hilarious, we had a great time which is weird to say for a cookie store, but it was genuinely so much fun to buy from them. Leah was also really nice. super recommend!! delicious cookies too

Aloha!!!! I have returned to my favorite Honolulu Cookie Company the best Waikiki has to offer. The customer service is amazing. The ladies are helpful, very polite and informative on the best values. The store is always clean and the displays are well put together. The store is small but the flow is nice. Try the néw Confetti Cookie and my favorite Coconut!!!!!

    Steve V.

Anyone who has visited a Honolulu cookie company knows that their cookies are delicious. Shortbread based with various flavors - tropical fruits, Kona coffee, white chocolate, milk chocolate dipped, coconut. Various box sizes and pre-packaged selections. Great for holiday gifts. Friendly staff. Get a punch card for a discount after several purchases. They used to have free samples galore, but thanks to covid, limited samples. They gave us free samples of broken cookies, but better than nothing. Many locations. All similar. All good!

I don't really have a sweet tooth-I'm a no icing, no frosting kind of girl. I wouldn't dream of eating a cinnamon roll with icing, that's a no for me. But their donuts are delicious all the same and can definitely scratch the itch if you do have a sweet tooth. As someone who's vegan, it can be hard to find a dessert I actually feel good about, and this is one of those places. Everything is taro-based and cooked in coconut oil, which I really appreciate. Just a heads up-all of their donuts are taro donuts. The flavors come from the toppings, so if you see something like a strawberry one, the donut itself isn't strawberry--it's the topping. Their offerings change, ( they do have their core donuts that don't change-and I usually go for one "naked"--no glaze. Sometimes I'll get the honey and sea salt one. Right now they have a seasonal donut called Black Sabbath that's black sesame, brûléed banana. Every time I've been in, I'm greeted right away, and there's plenty of free parking. They get your order out super quick. If you don't want a whole donut--or you're eating in your car and don't want to make a mess--their little donuts called Holeys are the perfect pop-in-your-mouth option. The place has always be well kept and clean - and they have a very spacious, and equally as clean, bathroom. They also have an app where you can check the menu, keep track of your rewards, and manage gift cards, which makes it really convenient. Also, if you're not signed up for their rewards program, do it. You're basically passing up free donuts if you don't. Give them a go, share your experience and if your taste buds celebrated. SYOY!
