They gave us a much needed space with a whole new house feel and our household of 5 can spread ourselves out without being on top of each other. Right from the get go, the process of planning and designing the house was non stop. There were communication flying back and forth almost every day at every stage of the project. They gave us a timeline that was reasonable and they kept it even with some hiccups from the city. The crew was dedicated to getting their work done and being on the timeline which we appreciated immensely as we were still living in the house during this construction chaos. Anything that needed fixing, it was done, anything that needed changing, that was done, anything we wanted to added, that was done as well. Not only that but since I'm not as knowledgeable in construction, I would ask them numerous questions and they will tell me what I needed to know. We appreciate everyone who had a hand in working on our dream house. We highly recommend DevArt8 for their hard work and dedication to building right.

The showers were only 2-3 feet of space, dark and uncomfortable to shower in. Hardly any vanity space and the places the toilets were, were well, not the most spacious. We knew eventually we would have to renovate the bathrooms. Well, when we met Yaniv, we hired Shefer Builders to redo our roof. I could tell instantly he was an extremely detailed person. This filters down to the staff. The entire staff!! Talking with Yaniv during the roof project, we decided to have the company redo our bathrooms. This included a 3D designer, and a mobile showroom that came to the house so I could choose all the fun stuff. Everyone is so nice and comfortable to talk to about design and pricing. In addition, the crew and foremans were very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the enire projects. As for the kitchen: we had a dishwasher go bad and it leaked water all over including out the back of the house!! Well....perfect time to have Shefer Builder renovate the kitchen!! What a continued blessing to have the crews come back again and help in such a fine way. I have always loved cooking and baking but even more so now with my beautifully desinged, perfectly crafted and functional kitchen!! They give so much attention to the little things I did not even notice! Exceptional quality from everyone!! The crews were hard working, fun and really made the process a joy to experience. We will definately be calling to use them for any further things we need beautified at our home!!

He allowed us to control the design and appliance choices and readily provided in areas we were unsure of (ie, lighting, sources for countertop slabs, etc). He and his team were very responsive over the course of the project from initial consultation through final touch ups and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time given that it was started during the holidays (right before Thanksgiving and finished by New Year's). The area was kept clean and organized, workers courteous and the team communicated with us each step of the way. The final product is exactly what I had envisioned. We will not hesitate to reach out again to update other areas in our house or recommend Shefer.

From start to finish, the experience was professional, organized, and far less stressful than we ever expected a project of this scale to be. Ethan, our project manager, played a huge role in the success of this renovation. From the very beginning. Starting with the initial design discussions, he was proactive, transparent, and incredibly detail-oriented. He took the time to really understand our vision while also offering thoughtful, practical guidance based on his expertise. Ethan helped us refine the layout, select materials, and choose finishes that made sense both aesthetically and functionally, all while keeping the project within budget, which we greatly appreciated. One thing that really stood out was how thorough the planning phase was. Everything was carefully thought through before construction even began, which helped prevent unexpected issues or surprises along the way. That level of preparation gave us a lot of confidence and made the entire process feel smooth and well-managed. Throughout the project, Ethan coordinated seamlessly with designers, engineers, inspectors, and the construction team, handling all the moving parts with ease. Communication was consistent and clear, and we always felt informed about what stage the project was in. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, which made the entire renovation feel surprisingly stress-free. The quality of workmanship and finishes truly speaks for itself. Every detail feels intentional, well-executed, and professionally done. From the structural work involved in the second-story addition to the final design touches and landscaping, the craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. Our home feels completely transformed! More functional, more beautiful, and thoughtfully designed from top to bottom. Overall, BH Construction & Development delivered exactly what they promised: high-quality work, professionalism, and a well-managed renovation experience. We are extremely grateful to Ethan and the entire team for bringing our vision to life, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a major renovation or build. This was a big investment for us, and choosing BH Construction & Development was absolutely the right decision. Thank you SO much.

Payman and his team kept me updated on city approvals, vendor coordination, and project timelines. They were patient in answering all my questions and flexible with revisions as the design evolved. I truly appreciated their honesty, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. It's clear that Bay Area Design and Construction takes great pride in their workmanship and client satisfaction. The work was excellent, but what really impressed me was the follow-up. A year later, Payman sent his crew back just to handle the little adjustments that come with a house settling. Even years later, he's still helpful whenever I need to get in touch with one of his subcontractors for maintenance. Because of that trust, I hired him again last year for a major remodel of my vacation home, and he didn't disappoint me as always. Payman is easily the most responsive contractor I've worked with, he gets back to every email within 24 hours, no matter how complex the issue is. His project management is top-tier. The crew is respectful and polite, and they actually finished the job ahead of schedule. It's rare to find a contractor who is this efficient and actually stands by their work long-term. Highly recommended.

Tony was great in overseeing the whole project while Amit was on top of day-to-day progress. Highly professional! We hired NuHome Remodeling for our house remodeling which started with addition and 3 bath room…read moreremodel, but ended up with pretty much full house remodel including the full kitchen remodeling as well. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set. The team has made sure to take care of our need from the very beginning to the end of the project, for little things like making sure we have the new lock after the whole project is done is even within their considerations, so we are moving into our new home feeling happy, comfortable and safe. Thanks so much to the team for their excellent work, and we are definitely going to recommend NuHome Remodeling.
