I've heard how popular this place was and how delicious their drinks are so I just had to check it out! I ordered the ube matcha. I forgot the name of the other one but it had a blue coconut foam on top. They were both good! I really enjoyed the ube. They were quick and friendly. It's a very cute place to sit with friends. I can't wait to try it again! I look forward to trying their coffee options.

Visited the viral matcha shop I've seen on social media for the first time. Located inside of the Winrock center, across the street from the park. You'd probably miss it because it's located in the building. There is no real signage but flags on the outside. Plus, you walk in and it's just a counter with a cash register and ladies making the fresh matcha right before your eyes. Friendly staff, menu isn't too extravagant. Definitely getting that real matcha flavor. Not too sweet either. Another plus. Hope to come back soon.

Cute pop up location upstairs from a comedy club. Enough seating and a small bar where staff is making Matcha drinks. For the record, the thought of drinking something that looks like liquid grass doesn't appeal to me but with the suggestion of my daughter and a friend, I thought "let's give this little local place a try" I ordered a strawberry matcha. I'd say I drank a little over half of it. It was okay. Now don't take my word for it in this case. I likely won't have another from anywhere but for those who love Matcha, go give them a try.

I think this is the best place for matcha in Albuquerque right now. Some mornings it gets crowded and it can be a little slow, but they are whisking each cup by hand. It's a small operation and you can see it all happen. They have quite a few options to choose from, but I usually opt for the plain one (The Ritual), less sweet, less ice. Their matcha still shines through the milk and agave, without being too bitter. The green is dark and not too light like other cafes. There's a few tables and some comfy looking seats, so might be good for a quick drink and hang out with friends. Will definitely be back for their matcha, even though they are a little far from the west side.

I tried the Ube matcha and the flavors really blended well and I also like how thick the matcha which was very satisfying! The service was really nice too. In terms of like environment, this place gets packed really easily so the waiting does gets to 45min but the drink is so worth it!

I was in town for a day and was craving matcha, so I found this spot on Yelp and decided to check it out. I was instantly impressed by the adorable and stylish interior with plenty of seating and a few outdoor tables. The cashier was very helpful in answering all my questions and I decided on a Philosophy Matcha, I added extra fold foam to treat myself! You can see the staff whisking away and so it does take some time to get your drink, but I certainly did not mind waiting for quality. When I was waiting, I could see groups of people filing in and standing in line, quite the popular spot! My drink was slightly sweet with a hint of vanilla and the cold foam was very decadent (just how I like). The prices are a bit steep for NM but again, you're paying for quality. Bravo Homebody!

Heard good things about this new matcha place so my friends and I came to try. It's an aesthetic spot and I was so excited to get a sweet drink! We tried the strawberry, ube, and regular matcha...so so disappointing. The matcha was clumpy and so I tried to mix it up and stab at the clumps but it didn't do anything. Tried to enjoy the drink but even with all the matcha clumps I couldn't taste any matcha so that was confusing. The ube cream was very heavy in the sweetness and didn't mix into the drink at all, so it was like trying to mix oil and water together. In the picture you can see the clumping of the matcha, wish I saw that at first. We were so sad that it was a nice place but the drinks weren't enjoyable at all. Luckily parking wasn't bad for us at all. Hope that next time we go it's better;(

This spot is cozy and cute. They hand mix the matcha and make in house soft tops. The baristas are very sweet and helpful. I got the blue coconut matcha and it exceeded my expectations.

HANDS DOWN BEST! I repeat BEST matcha I've ever had. Staff is super friendly as well. I love the atmosphere in there and it's so cozy and cute. I had the endless summer matcha and the presentation of it was 10/10. Definitely going to be going here more often.

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points. Would love it if they went back to the old system! Other than that, Little Bear Uptown is my favorite place to get coffee in Albuquerque.

I was greeted at the door by a customer's very friendly golden lab, best greeting of the day btw. The coffee was as requested without issue. The trailer has a cool retro vibe, with a small bistro table set up for condiments and a speaker playing alt rock. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and smiling, even at 7 a.m.! The owner was also more than happy to have a brief chat about his coffee and seemed genuinely nice. I ordered the Breakfast Panini with turkey, a cold brew (no ice), and a white chocolate lavender scone. The Breakfast Panini was very good and had the perfect ratio of toppings (turkey, eggs, and cheese). I opted to add green chile, but it was not fresh, most likely jarred. Not bad, but it could be better. I'll also note that the sandwich had a bit too much black pepper sprinkled on it. The cold brew was very weak, and when I asked about it, the owner explained that it was made fresh daily from a medium roast. A common misconception is that the roast of coffee affects the strength. People often assume dark roast equals stronger coffee. However, that mainly affects the flavor notes and character of the coffee. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the owner didn't offer to make me something else or perhaps add a shot of espresso, which was a bit disappointing. The white chocolate lavender scone was delicious. The texture was light and fluffy on the inside, crisp and crumbly on the outside, with just the right amount of sweetness. The lavender was not overpowering, just subtle enough to add a hint of flavor. All in all, I don't know that I would go out of my way to find this place again, but if they happened to pop up somewhere nearby, I'd definitely grab a scone and maybe try their iced Americano.
