was free for a few hours so I decided to check out this new coffee shop that I had been meaning to stop by for a while! I loved that the place was all about middle eastern flairs! You can get some bakeries/drinks with a little bit of middle eastern hint! The shop is modern, expansive and clean. Clearly, it's also a very popular choice to hang out among locals in the area! What I loved most was that..their hours were so great! From early morning til LATE night! This was so cool...because ABQ establishments seem to somehow shut down after 8pm. But now that I know of a place that would still be open til late night at 11pm...I would definitely love to stop by for a quiet night of thinking and to enjoy their drinks again! read more

Had a Turkish coffee that was delicious and served in a beautiful coffee pot with small coffee cups and saucers. Everything was served on a gold tray. The Turkish coffee is strong and when I asked for some milk the staff provided steamed milk with kindness. Also tried the Dubai Croissant (amazing!), baklava w cheese (yummy) and the red velvet muffin (good). Can't wait to return. read more

A great spot to study and get work done! I stayed here for a few hours and wasn't disturbed other than workers offering me a cup of water, which was very nice. The restaurant is very clean, neat, comfortable and aesthetic. Staff is very kind. Clean bathrooms. My smoothie was actually delicious, although a little pricey. Surprisingly in the UNM area around the corner from my old home, there's a beautiful bright bakery. Decadent sumptuous desserts display and ready to be consumed inside a welcoming coffee shop. I came across this coffee shop by chance and I'm so glad I did! I was staying in the neighborhood, visiting for the weekend. This was the only local shop open on a Sunday morning in the area. The woman there said they had only been open a week and they were hoping to have their grand opening soon. She was very friendly. The coffee shop is decorated beautifully! Definitely a place you could work or study in for a couple hours. I got the Amalie latte aka the Baklava latte. Incredible! It was so smooth and not overly sweet. Got the 24 oz and with tip came out to about $10. They have several signature lattes on the menu and I wish I could have tried them all. I also got a crème brûlée Madeline. It was good. Tasted more like cinnamon but had a crunchy top to it. I would love to come back to try more in the future! read more

Was actually panning on going to the tea place next door to here, but they were closed that day, Just notice this had opened up, and even better hey are open from 7:30am-11pm, spacious interior, bright and international design. Has a comfy round seating area and a bunch of smaller tables for the laptop jockeys and for more casual conversations or work. Music was up beat Arabic. We only got a few pre prepared snacks, a tasty tomato savory one and a sweet berry waffle, both were good, The coconut breeze iced late was good, but very sweet, as was my companions ube matcha, may take a litle bit to tune our orders on them, but despite being a little on our too sweet side, they were still enjoyable. My boyfriend took me here and it was amazing! It really is a hidden gem. We ordered a banana matcha and a Irish cream latte, both were fantastic although the Irish cream was a bit too sweet. The pastry selection is incredible! This might be a nice place to study or work. However, parking might be a bit difficult at peak hours. Overall, I will definitely be back. Immediately I like the ambiance. I like the dark woods, black outlines, and contrasting light wood panels. Super spacious inside with enough room for dates, studying, or just hanging out with a friend(s). I do not like the parking, it's tight and always crowded. Visually all their food menu items are appealing, down side is that it's not always available. I would suggest removing the food item that is unavailable. Waited in line for 12 minutes, with my drink taking 3 minutes to come out (which I thought would have been longer). Other drinks took longer to come out. Do not know if it's a system issue or just the fact that the had only one person making coffee drinks. I ordered the Arabian Desert (brown sugar latte with whip cream and cinnamon). Not a bad drink, it is a simple latte that honestly works with culture and theme of the coffee shop. You could taste the espresso, and brown sugar, the states and produced that taste palette . Give this place a try and see for yourself if this could be your go to coffee shop. read more

This newer middle eastern inspired coffee cafe across UNM University of New Mexico college campus , is elegantly remodeled in a modern open design but it's coffee , espresso or matcha drinks are priced over $8- $10 each with a variety of pastries and cakes slices avg $6-$7, parking is very limited in the 15 car parking lot due to being across from the university so prepare for paid street metered parking far from the cafe doors and a walk, a unique thing is they stay open late from 7am - 9pm or even 11pm which makes this the only dine in coffee shop still open way after 8pm, it's busy now being newer but the coffee may not be as strong as nearby cafes like Satellite Coffee on the next street up but it's nice to see a nicer cafe across UNM after Starbucks closed on the same street this summer, I'll try more but wish prices were better read more

How rare to find truly exceptional coffee! I'm an admitted coffee snob with particular tastes. Until today there were only three places to get great coffee: a place in Naples Italy near the Stazione Centrale; my kitchen; and any Peets. Now I must add Amalie to the list. Drinks are good but not worth the poor service. Came here with my mom and ordered two drinks, both hot, one to go and one for here. We also ordered a Dubai chocolate croissant that the cashier said was in the oven and would be ready in 25 minutes. When we got our drinks, they got my order wrong, and when I tried to correct them they made it seem like it was my fault, not an error they made because they wrote it down wrong and did not apologize. After they corrected it, it still was not in a to go cup like I had asked. For the food, we waited over the 25 minutes for the croissant with no one coming up to us. When my mom went to the counter to ask where the croissant was, the cashier told her that it was no longer available and that she would give her cash to refund her. I find it incredibly inconsiderate that they made us wait so long just so WE could come up to them and find out why the wait was so long instead of coming up to us themselves when they knew the croissant was no longer being made. Frankly, we should not have been the ones to initiate that and the workers should have notified us immediately instead of wasting our time. Overall, the drinks were fine, but they left a deeply sour taste in my mouth due to the poor service and lack of consideration. I am very disappointed by my experience here. read more
