If I lived in this area, I'd probably make a visit to the Brew more often. They have great coffee, the interior isn't gimmicky, and the prices are good. The food / desserts that are served don't taste stale or old. I really like the artwork they have hanging inside the cafe. Every time I have been there are people propped in a section of the area working on their laptops. Service is friendly and informative. You can tell the workers enjoy being here. I'd have to say The Brew is one of my favorite coffee shops in ABQ.

Plenty of indoor seating, back patio seating and seating outside. Customer Service was pleasant and attentive. Limited food menu but they do have a few pastries and avocado toast which comes with hummus. I enjoyed my cortado which was served in a beautiful ceramic mug. I would return for its mood and vibe alone.

Amazing little trip to the brew!! What a cute and inviting shop, the atmosphere is great with enjoyable music lots of seating and super friendly baristas. I enjoyed the golden milk latte- so delicious and my friend had the chai latte which was also great!! I will definitely be back to try some of their baked goods- they looked incredible!

I can't think of many better community spots than a great local coffee shop. For me, The Brew is the definition of a community focused spot. I hang out there and I run into friends and beyond. It's one of the great spots that downtown has to offer for both delicious coffee and an amazing story. I personally am kind of a business nerd and I love their story. it's super family lead themed in Colombia to the coffee brewed here in Albuquerque. They keep their menu simple but it's because they're true to their roots. The service is always fast and friendly, and they are always playing some good bops.

Amtrak's southwest chief stopped in Albuquerque for an hour on my trip from LA to Chicago so I found this coffee shop near the train station. Beautiful artwork decorates the walls, providing an eclectic and welcoming vibe. I was greeted as soon as I got to the counter, and the service was prompt and friendly. Back on my train, I was happy to savor the cinnamon roll while we rolled out of the station. The frosting was quite sweet, but the roll nicely balanced it by being far less sweet. The roll was slightly dry which , surprisingly, I enjoyed, much as one enjoys a biscotti although far chewier than that.

Bacon Green Chile Burritos with a Red Chile mocha and Cortado

Delicious breakfast downtown at The Brew. Today they had 3 different kinds of burritos to choose from, and we both chose the Bacon Green Chile. They are premade, and warmed up for you. Fluffy eggs, smoky bacon, hash browns, cheese and chile inside. The Red Chile mocha had a great balance of flavor, with rich chocolate and warmth from the chile. My cortado was small, yet mighty ~ they serve very well-crafted espresso drinks.

It's often hit or miss when visiting a new-to-you coffee shop. To our delight, The Brew was a HIT! The barista went above and beyond to expedite our drinks so that we wouldn't miss our train, and even then our drinks tasted as if made with care. Fresh, smooth notes of premium beans, and hints of the tropics. Very well done! Thank you!

Occasionally on a Friday morning I try to depart from my routine, perhaps grab a cup of coffee and a pastry, maybe two (pastries). Any who, I stopped by The Brew, in the heart of downtown ABQ. I highly recommend the Aztec Latte, make it a triple shot, because why not. That canela and leche condensada is where it's at. There's plenty of freshly baked goodies to choose from. I went with the chocolate croissant because it was calling my name. This was crispy on the outside with the melted chocolate inside; paired well with the latte. Get out of the ordinary routine and hit this place up!

This was such a lovely experience. The aesthetics of this place is very pleasing and gives off a a fresh atmosphere that's welcoming to all. They have music playing and target more towards the younger generation but welcoming to all ages and groups. From college students to professionals dpi by business are gathered in this coffee shop. Pastries are not overwhelming sweet and the perfect balance of fluff. The coffee was delicious in taste and texture was smooth. The service was speedy and staff was very friendly:

It was a brewtiful morning in ABQ and my friend wanted to take me to her favorite coffee shop, The Brew. We parked on the street and walked into a charming, little cafe where we were immediately greeted. The Brew offers plenty of indoor seating and seems great for working or studying. I could definitely see planting myself at one of the tables with my laptop and working away while sipping on delicious coffee if I lived in ABQ. I was told the coffee is from Colombia, and all the signature lattes sounded very enticing. I asked the barista who may or may not also be the owner for a recommendation. I told her what flavors I like, and she recommended the Aztec latte, which is what I was hoping she would say! I ordered it hot with oat milk. I've always had a huge sweet tooth, and growing up, I loved licking condensed milk covered spatulas whenever my mom baked. I was expecting the drink to be overly sweet and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't! Had just the right amount of condensed milk to give it some sweetness without overpowering the other ingredients. Truly a delicious blend of espresso, sweet condensed milk, and cinnamon!

Hi! My kids and I drove down to the Brew on a Saturday morning. The drive was 30 minutes and so worth the trip for us. Being down town freaks me out a little because it's always a new experience. The location was easy to find and their was plenty of parking all though they were meter parking. Please make sure you don't let your meter run out because the officers are on top of it handing out tickets. I tried one of their signature lattes called "The Crazy Monkey" (with expresso, milk, banana and chocolate) with a croissant. Very addicting! My kids both had hot cocoas with honey buns that were made fresh by the way. The staff was friendly, it's always nice when you can have a conversation about the menu and food. The building was very cute and decorated nicely. There is art work for sale displayed on the walls. We personally enjoyed viewing them. If you're looking for a nice place to go get some work done or even just down for a little trip with a friend for a fancy delicious latte then this is your place.

Another 5 star rating! What's not to like? It's a cute place with a comfortable and artsy ambience. Even the coffee was embellished with creamy designs! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of different kinds of seating. We sat in upholstered chairs by the front window. There was even a corner with some books on shelves for those interested. In the back was an outdoor seating area next to a parking lot for people who don't do indoor seating. The menu is really different with lots of tempting coffee drinks. I ordered the Crazy Monkey with espresso, milk, banana syrup, and chocolate. My companion had the Turtle Latte which had espresso, milk, caramel, and chocolate. We both thought they were yummy! Other options were Cafe con Coco and Red Chile Mocha. The prices were pleasantly reasonable. For pastries, we got a cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant which we requested to be heated. I liked the croissant much better and he liked the roll much better. We shouldn't have split! At 9:50 on a Saturday, we didn't have a big choice of types of pastries available. We'll try to go earlier next time. As typical for downtown, we did have to pay for parking but the machine took quarters or credit cards and it was only a dollar for an hour. The meters were next to the parking spaces as opposed to having one centrally-located machine so it was easy enough to use. This is definitely a place we'll return to.

Quite hidden gem if you like your coffee and bold this is the spot. Love the furniture decor and the staff was helpful and explaining what's on the menu.
