Villa Myriam is a pretty hidden coffee shop when it comes to the coffee shop scene here in Albuquerque. They have a decent size parking lot, but I really wish they would repave it. One of my biggest gripes is the seating can be rough. Specifically, the high tops are not built for short people. They get really busy too so sometimes you're fighting for seating. The drinks are solid, they have a lot of sweeter options and seasonal flavors. They do have a good selection of food, more than your average coffee shop offers. I've enjoyed the breakfast sandwich a couple times.

I know they have special french toasts on Fridays, and I was finally in town on a Friday. It's a great place for food and coffee, popular with both people meeting up and folks getting work done. The coffee is EXCELLENT. I got a cup of the Whiskey and the afternotes really do taste like whiskey and is very tasty. They had a butterscotch french toast the day I was there and while I thought the mint leaves were a bit strong, it was delicious!

Villa Myriam is a wonderful, cozy place to savor in their very own coffee, grown on their Colombian farm and roasted right here. The ceilings are high, above a nice variety of seating. I love Villa Myrian's coffee. It has a smoother taste than many. They have a healthy selection of pastries and recently brought back food. They always have healthy meals. They welcome patrons to work here for a bit. VM has a welcoming brutalitst courtyard and central fire pit. Their roastery and coffeehouse is tucked away in a former industrial area just south of Lomas NE, west of Broadway NE, right along the east side of the railroadtracks. This area is slowly being transformed into an arts district dubbed Downtown ABQ Mainstreet Arts & Cultural District. The owners of VM, are planning to open a neon sign museum with a collection of local signs from former local businesses next to the old Glorieta brewery tower. Cantina Real is finally opening soon. They had been ready to open when the pandemic started. The Cell Theatre and Fusion events space are just on the other side of the tracks on 1st Street NW. Thankfully, it's much easier to walk between the Villa Myriam and these venues now that there's a railroad crossing on Marquette. Check out Villa Myriam. You'll enjoy it.

Today was our first time trying this place. My husband ordered a burger they only have burgers on Fridays and he loooooved the burger. He said it was one of his favorites. I had the BLT and it was so good. It was a little after lunch time but it was very mellow and laid back environment which was perfect. The coffee also was very tasty.

Here for work and wanted the best coffee. This place wins! Absolutely perfect iced vanilla latte and their food looked great--I was sad I wasn't hungry. Inside is beautiful with lots of light and plants, and the staff was super friendly. My latte came out fast! Will absolutely come here again.

The bacon breakfast sandwich is DELICIOUS. The sambal aoili is so good and gives the sandwich a little bit of spice. The latte and mocha were also really good. I love the big cups and latte art. This is a nice place to sit and get some work done or have coffee with a friend.

This is the cutest little shop I am unsure how I never knew about this place until today. I will be frequenting this location in the future because it is a perfect place to study or work. There is plenty of parking that's free. It's cute inside, a lovely cozy futuristic vibe and it's clean. The latte selection is great! I ordered the peep latte which had marshmallow syrup! I didn't order anything to eat but I think that the BLT will be a good choice next time I go.

I cannot say just how impressed I was with this place. I went for coffee this morning and decided on the avocado toast to go. The staff were very friendly and informative. When I got to work and opened the box I was shocked at how beautiful the presentation was. This was the best tasting avocado toast I have ever had. The sourdough toast was crispy and chewy. The avocado was smooth and creamy and the egg was perfect, the prosciutto added a rich and smoky decadence. I was so impressed I went back today for lunch and had the cubano sandwich. This sandwich was artfully crafted and delicious. The homemade pickles had a mild spice to them that added the perfect tang to the full profile of the sandwich. Highly recommend

Villa Myriam is fantastic. I used to come here often to study and get work done. Their lattes are delicious. My fiancé is a self-proclaimed "coffee snob" and says that Villa Myriam beans are really great for making espresso at home. Whenever we travel back to ABQ, we have to stock up on several bags to take back home. Their bathrooms are super clean. I really love the open space and ambience inside the cafe. They can get super busy and it might take a little longer to get your drink, but the baristas are very friendly and the drink is worth the wait. By far the best place for coffee in ABQ!

Was in town for a business trip and happen to come across this coffee shop. Was so good i came for 3 days straight. Here are the items i would recommend trying: - Pour over medium roast - flavorful and chocolate notes - aztec latte hav a perfect sweetnes and touch of cinnamon - Carnitas Burrito is a must with stuffed chile relleno - bacon sandwich had a good spread inside with thick apple wood bacon - salmon bagel had good portion of salmon and tasty everything bagel If your in town you must try.

Azteca cold with little biscochitos the coffee is really good.

Great coffee! I've never gotten a drink here that I haven't liked. I'm just sad I started coming back here after I moved out of downtown. The cafe is very cute and stylishly decorated. It's a very calming atmosphere inside and outside. Even thought it's right by downtown, it's secluded away, which is great. The staff is friendly and they move pretty swiftly, even if they're busy! This time I got an iced honey lavender latte with soy milk and it was divine. Be on the lookout for their seasonal drinks too! Last time I had one it had rose flavoring in it and it was amazing! Cute place to come and meet clients, do homework, or just hang out with your friends or even by yourself!

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

Just one person working there, but friendly service, and they get to work on your coffee right away. They also have a few pastries and donuts. In full honestly, it would have been a 4 star experience, if not for an interaction I witnessed while there. An older woman came in for a basic coffee, nothing fancy. Sensing she may be in need, the worker offered her a donut, which she said she could not afford but he replied "it's on the house" which made her happy. As they were getting closer to closing, another man came in representing a local service that collects food for others in need as well, seemed like a scheduled pick up for the days leftover baked goods so they are not wasted. I highly respect places that participate in this kind of public service, and sustainable practices. To that end, it's gotta be a 5, and a place I would happily buy from again on my next trip.
