Great coffee. TY to the owner Pilar for being a true professional. She has responded to my concern quickly and with total professionalism.

Wow what a find on a brief stop in Albuquerque. A must for you travelers in the need of a caffeine boost. We got a flat white and cappuccino and could not resist the red chile vegan burrito. It's welcome to New Mexico oh so good. Too tasty to stop and photo my dear readers so you'll have to trust and order one yourself. But get here early as they sellout quickly. Enjoy! And ps the service is great too.

Kind of a diamond in the rough, easy to miss if you're not paying much mind. Stopped by at a busy time with a long line but it was worth it: staff was professional, proficient and kind; my order was ready within minutes. I had wished to try the vegan burrito but was in a rush; must do so next time. A lovely little coffee shop, with beautiful plants and an outside area for additional seating. Some holiday touches added to the charm.

I really like Zendo Coffee! The cafe has good vibe, good music and some of their drinks are more unique (for example, try their ube latte!!). After trying several times to stop by this cafe (but previously all unsuccessful because I could never find any parking spots nearby enough!), I finally got my luck when I happened to drive by at the same time someone was leaving a parking spot in front of the cafe! The vibe was so good, great music, great people and nice selection of drinks (and some cafe items) and I sat for a couple of hours finishing my work. I would love to stop by here to hang out again and crossed my fingers that I could be as lucky to find a parking spot nearby this cafe again!

Really cute coffee shop in downtown Albuquerque. Coffee was delicious, barista was super friendly and they have a lot of cool art up.

I like Zendo but I don't frequent it because they tend to stay busy and seating is sometimes hard to find. It is a cool space though and I love coming for Art Walk when they do things. They tend to have a really great selection of pastries and I like their menu offerings including their more unique drinks like the Sweet Bonnie which is one of my favorite options. It is a tea based latte with like a vanilla citrus flavor to it.

Cute spot, friendly service with street parking. Be aware that if you come during rush hour, you might be waiting for a while to get your drink.

I was reading some good feedback about this place online so decided to give it a try. My first impression was mostly about the line at Zendo being so long, which I felt was a mixed blessing because it probably meant the food and drinks were going to be good. By the time it was my turn to order I noticed the whole time I was in line that people were buying up the desserts I wanted, but they weren't prepared for the crowd and didn't have replacement items ready. So once it was my turn, I was out of luck haha. The coffee here was very creative and pretty good, they even had Turkish coffee ice cubes! Never heard of something like that until I had it here. The coffee was great, I enjoyed it very much and I think if I lived across the street I would alternate between this and Starbucks every other time.

This is how I imagine a typical city coffee shop. Cool vibe & good coffee with impressive seasonal drinks. I got an ube hot latte and it was both gorgeous and good. I went with a stroller and there wasn't space inside for me to sit. It was nice out so enjoying the outdoor space was nice.

Ask the Community - Zendo Coffee

Does Zendo have any food for lunch? I know they serve breakfast burritos.

Unfortunately we don’t have a kitchen, so our offerings are delicious pastries from Burque Bakehouse-some that are savory, breakfast burritos, bagels with cream cheese or butter, granola, oatmeal and vegan/gluten free donuts from Planty Sweet.

    Does Zendo serve hot chocolate?

Yes with our delicious whipped cream!

Always love supporting small, local spots that have that kind of story behind them. I tried their Aztec Latte, one of their signature drinks made with espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon. I was a little unsure at first since I'm not a big fan of cinnamon, but it ended up being super mild and creamy. We also got the Red Chili Mocha, which has espresso, milk, red chili, and chocolate. I expected more of a kick from the chili, but it was actually on the milder side as well. Since it was a little chilly in Albuquerque, we went for hot lattes, which definitely hit the spot. We split a couple of toasts too. The avocado toast came with hummus, avocado, and a drizzle of sriracha. I liked that the hummus was the base instead of just plain avocado. I think it added a nice creamy layer that worked perfectly with the sourdough and spice. The Caprese toast was classic: pesto, mozzarella, balsamic, and tomatoes. Also a solid choice. The vibe inside was really chill. People were working on laptops, chatting quietly, low music in the background. The walls had artwork from a local artist, which was a nice touch. The baristas were very friendly. Service was on point.
