We got here right after they opened at 7am. We were greeted immediately. We got two mochas and two green chile burritos. Both were delicious. The employees are super friendly and the vibe is very laid back. Nice place to catch up with a friend.

Solid spot for q cup of Joe! Has a "chain feel" to it and not the local comfy spot to hang out but they made a great iced americano! Nice and smooth like I wanted and it was refreshing on this warm 86 degree day! Staff was friendly and efficient. My reason for not giving 5 stars was that I was not impressed with the pastry selection and seating was not that comfortable or cozy to hang out in.

Heatwave Coffee is hands down my daily café and absolute favorite spot. The coffee is always perfectly dialed, and the latte art is consistently beautiful. You can tell they truly care about quality and craft. The homemade pastries are incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with intention. Their house-made syrups take every drink to the next level and make even a simple latte feel special. The space itself is efficient and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax or get some work done without feeling cramped. On top of all that, the staff is super welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes every visit feel like home. If you're looking for a café that nails coffee, food, atmosphere, and service--this is it.

What do you do when you need caffeine STAT and you're in Albuquerque? You go for Yelp to help and find the cutest cafe in town. Heatwave Coffee is properly named, has everything you need for your coffee fix, and feels like a small town coffee shop you should support out in the desert. I loved the seating, the plants, and of course the coffee options. They have specials and the usual. I got their Vanilla Bean Iced Latte and the Iced Mocha. They have milk alternatives if you need, free parking, and there's a cat cafe right around the corner. What more could you want? Oh great quality coffee? Well duh. Yeah you won't be disappointed.

Super cute coffee shop with a chill vibe. I had the strawberry match which looked super cool and tasted great! The matcha wasn't sweetened which I liked, the strawberry jam in it was great but I wish there was a bit more. I ended up getting oat milk instead of whole (for my tummy) . The girl who took my order was super nice! My only complaint was with the drink was $8.88 out the door with a dollar tip which is hard to justify especially with the drink having a shit ton of ice in it. I'll def go back to study but I think I'll stick to coffee which is a little more price conscious

    Cowboy Cold Brew

I ordered the tasty seasonal cowboy cold brew. Good flavor, a little pricey. The location offers decent seating inside with a couple tables outside if you want to sit in and enjoy your coffee or work from here. If you're not familiar with the area you might need to use maps to guide you to parking lot as you can't enter right off Paseo Del Norte.

Pros: I like the product! Reasonable affordable for a date with a bite to eat. They're genius for their little burrito additions. Also, they got me to like matcha! I like my stuff sweeter for the Strawberry matcha was AWESOME! Cons: Music is WAY TO LOUD, Service is on the slower side, but nothing to the extent of not returning. I think I'll just get it to go next time. Would recommend you try this place!

Coffee boutique places have popped up like breweries in New Mexico so of course let's give local a try. The apple cider was so good! Made for my granddaughter and the chair equally as good. Service with a smile and I loved the simplicity of the place. Give it a try. They tend to be a bit expensive but that's okay for the once in a while treat!

Excellent coffee. Excellent location. The staff make a point to remember you and your order. They are very sweet and the coffee is super good!

This is one of my top stops when visiting Albuquerque! So delicious and so many dairy free options! Customer service is 10/10. Please come visit!

Such a cute little coffeeshop! This area of town has been needing some good local coffee finds, and Heatwave fills that perfectly. Their current special, the coconut cream matcha, is a great summer drink to cool down with. Baristas are super friendly and sweet! Can't wait to try more of their drinks.

Cute coffee shop with nice interior decor. They use little bear coffee so if you're looking for it outside of their two locations, you'll find both drinks and beans for purchase here. Their latte is consistent with what you'll get at LB which is a compliment. Prices on the drinks are reasonable and the folks behind the counter were very friendly. protip: if you're navigating from apple maps it will direct you to a different location. Heatwave is located in a strip mall right beside starry moon, so it might be easier to navigate to starry moon to get here!

Heatwave is providing good food, a nice and clean environment and is enjoyable to sit in. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is creative with their drink combinations for special treats.

My friend went to check out where our food was, and sure enough, our ticket got lost somewhere, hence, the reason why we never got our food. Well, the Assistant Manager, Matt, jumped in and rescued us and did the right thing, as a great manager should, and took care of us, including our choice of any item from the desert case. When our food did arrive we were both happy with our breakfasts and the fantastic coffee. We had the Ranch Breakfast, 2 eggs with your choice of turkey sausage. bacon or ham. Also, a Rise and Shine sandwich which is scrambled eggs, cheese and choice of same meats as listed above, on a homemade biscuit. Would I go back? Absolutely. There are several other items that appeal to me.

I do not care for their red chile (too sweet) or the way they serve breakfast eggs and bacon, but you might like it. I want my eggs over medium on a bed of rice. They have had some great dishes in the past that have disappeared from their menu. I like eating on the patio. Patios are a bit small and awkward at some locations, but the Rio Grande Blvd site has a great patio. That site is also next to a book store -- double whammy for me!!

It's my local coffee shop where they know my name and my order as soon as I walk in. I also love the atmosphere here even though it is often crowded. It's a great place to get some work done, or to meet a friend to chat. Literally the only issue I have with them is their new ordering/card reader system. It's often down, which results in long lines, long waits, and stressed out baristas. Also, their it's tied to their loyalty program, so when I go there and their system is down, I don't get points.
