I appreciate the ice having coffee infused in them! Can't say I taste a lot of strawberry flavors as the coconut was a bit overpowering to be paired with strawberries but it was still good. The oatmeal bar was a bit of a letdown. Lots going on but virtually impossible to eat by hand. This is a plated type of bar and having it to-go in a baggy was not ideal. Cool interior, I really liked the art and greenery sprinkled around the inside. The cold brew comes in 12 oz cans with original, dulce de leche, and churro flavors. The original was mostly smooth with a slight bite of coffee bitterness periodically. Their parfait was just the right amount of food to hold me over, and a healthy option at that. I also got their Chile cheddar scone, great flavor, good amount of spice to it, just wish that the toaster oven was able to get a crisp to the scone, it was more chewy than what I wanted. I haven't been to this location for coffee in quite a while and decided to try it again. I ordered a Coconut Latte. I wanted it with 2% milk but they didn't have it. The barista offered me either whole milk or oatmilk. I didn't want whole milk so I opted for the oatmilk. She upcharged me for this option which I didn't think was right since they hadn't had the 2% I had wanted. The oatmilk should have been free. I was little annoyed with that. This place is amazing! I came to Albuquerque from Tampa for the Balloon Fiesta and upon discovering Piñon Coffee House we've gone everyday! At this location all of the baristas are so kind and personable. I've tried something new each day and my favorite has been the Pumpkin Pie Latte and the Piñon bear claw. I'm going to miss this place when I go back to Florida, I may just come back to Fiesta next year for more coffee, It's my new favorite! I love love love their coffee and I'd hear on the radio that the eggnog latte was back. Eggnog is one of my favorite parts of this time of year and their latte is always a favorite. I was nearby so decided it was definitely worth a visit. It's a little shop wedged in between several other things so easy to miss, but you shouldn't! There's a decent amount of seating inside even though it's small, and you can eye the bags of delightful coffee as they call to you. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The latte was everything I expected and very enjoyable. If that's not your thing, or even if coffee is not your thing, they also have a variety of teas. Not a big coffee drinker but came here during a family trip. I ordered the lavender honey latte freeze and it was very good. I love all things lavender and this was a good mixture of lavender and honey and coffee. My husband ordered the apple chai which was the special and it was really really good as well. I want to go back just for that. I found out they sell and ship coffee as well. My little son liked the bear claw pastry, I didn't try it but it was 1 year old approved. They did charge me 3.95 for milk which I felt was a lot. But other than that it was a good experience. The ambiance is nice with a lot of plants. Unfortunately my one year old kept trying to get to the cactus which I had to constantly run after him and be on the defense! So be aware of that in case you have little ones. Hadn't been here for a while. I stopped by today stood at the counter no one acknowledged my mom and I. Finally they came to the counter took our order. We were told they would call us when the coffee was done. We sat directly in front of the counter. Waited about 10 min they finally called me and gave me a cold coffee. I took it back and asked if it could be warmed up. ( they really looked and acted like they didn't want to be there ) she remade the coffee. And handed it to me. I asked her about my coffee as the other one was for my mom and she gave me a coffee that had been sitting there. Same issue. It was cold. I don't think I'll be going back. After you stop sniffing the candles, make your way to the counter to order a specialty drink. They have several nondairy options which is always a plus! If I'm being honest, I really only came for the biscochito donuts. I'm passionate about donuts and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these!
