Good coffee, great vibes, good assortment of pastries, teas and coffee. I had a Dubai pistachio iced latte and it was delicious. Not too sweet with the right amount of coffee, the pistachio wasn't overwhelming. Staff was very friendly, I almost didn't get the latte because I was worried about it being too sweet and they immediately found a staffer who loves it. She suggested I get it "slightly sweet." I really appreciated them taking the time to guide me and I will definitely be back when I'm in the neighborhood!

Excellent little coffee shop right in the heart of Old Town with plenty to see and cats to pet. I wanted to walk around this area for awhile and then get some work done while on a trip to Albuquerque, and found this spot for a pick me up and some free wifi. It's an eclectic and colorful place that just has that vibe of being a gathering spot. I ordered a brown bear iced mocha which had a bit of orange flavor to it and was very enjoyable, it was ready pretty quick and sustained me while I'll plodded through my laptop tasks. The seating inside was comfortable, even the upright seating on the old pew which made it easy to work. Outside in the courtyard, there's plenty of vegetation, though we were well into fall when I visited, so much of it was on the ground. That said, it was pretty in it's own right, and there were a couple cats lazing about or hunting in the brush, both seemingly owned or cared for by other businesses in this square. Overall, this was a good place to spend an hour or two, and I'm glad I stopped in.

Loved visiting Blackbird Coffee House. It has a large variety of pastries and drinks, as well as plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I usually don't like sitting outdoors, but the courtyard was so pretty I couldn't resist. They also have wifi and a bathroom for customers. I got the espresso patronus (butterbeer syrup, espresso, milk) with oat milk from the fall menu. It was a bit on the sweet side but I liked it! My sister got the iced jack-o-latte (pumpkin syrup, pie spice espresso, milk), which was also yummy. They were pretty fast with the drinks, considering there were quite a few customers coming in to order. Also loved the themed decor. Would definitely visit again!

LOVE the staff. So nice. Accommodating. Of course I got the matcha. Loved it. No notes -- just well done. I loved the layout and funky colors in the cafe. Would return.

Miranda was great! Beautiful outdoor patio seating with gorgeous landscapes. Fun hip mystical psychedelic indoor plenty of seating free wifi and great air conditioning. Ok so a little skeptical with popcorn coffe aka Jimmy Crack Corn Latte but was persuaded to try it as a fave of those working there. Glad I did, different but the popcorn gave a fun twist to the latte .. if you've had maja blanco(filipino dessert) or any mais type of dessert its great with coffe why not a latte? Had it with oatmeal for us lactose intolerant. Drip coffee was great too. Freshly roasted strong but smooth. Lots of other unique lattes with chili or butter beer. And regular coffees and lattes. The brownie was great too.

This spot is such a gem! Blackbird Coffee is perfectly placed in a plaza with the most colorful and beautiful views all around. The shop itself feels super cozy :) the kind of place where you can relax with a book, catch up with friends, or just enjoy people-watching. I loved it so much that I went back at least six times in one week just to try more of their flavors lol! Each drink was delicious, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their menu. The service was also consistently great, warm, friendly, and quick, which made each visit even better. If you're in Albuquerque and want cozy vibes, tasty drinks, and a gorgeous setting, Blackbird Coffee is a must-visit!

I spotted Blackbird Coffee House from across the patio and came back hours later because I couldn't stop thinking about how good it looked - and I'm so glad I did! I needed an afternoon pick me up to help with the summer sun, so I went with an iced americano with cinnamon syrup. Perfect combination and brief oasis. The inside of the shop was comfy with plenty of seating, ice cold water to drink, and nice music. Kelsey was an incredible barista, and even better advisor when I asked questions about Albuquerque since it was my first visit. Thanks for topping up my ice before I went back into the sun :)

The most amazing croissant I've ever eaten in my life. I would go every single day if I lived near.

This place is located in old town and you walk down one of the cove to find it. It is your typical local coffee/tea shop with a variety of both and an assortment of pastries. The ladies working today were very pleasant and on their A game and very helpful. Our code and tea were served hot! The atmosphere is laid back with soft music and very old charm. We will visit again if in the area.

A month late on reviewing this place (better late than never), but I had the opportunity to drop by here a second time when I was in Albuquerque. They staff are so helpful and they had fun Halloween decorations and themes set up. Check out the skeleton hand in the iced chai drink! I was looking for a decaf tea option and they recommended one of their seasonal hibiscus teas with ice and oatmilk and I really enjoyed it. It's a great, fun spot to go in Old Town Albuquerque for a quick drink and pastry break!

I am convinced that this is the coziest coffee shop in Albuquerque. The latte creations are delicious and amazing and have wonderful microfoam on top. The walls are decorated with local art. The tables has a million outlets to plug into. The staff are cheery. Where else would I want to get comfortable with my laptop, or have a conversation?

Wanted to check out old town Albuquerque before continuing my drive up to Santa Fe and as a coffee affectionado I always try to start my day at a different cafe. This was an awesome spot which drew me in because of the really cool coffee drink combinations. I love when a place takes unique flavors and combines them in non traditional ways, and I honestly wish my body (and wallet) could handle infinite caffeine so I could've tried everything. Really cool menu, lovely workers, and a chill environment. I worked on my laptop for a little and saw as the locals as well as visitors stopped by.

Blackbird Coffee House is a beautiful and artsy cafe tucked away in one of the Old Town courtyards. I am so glad to have found them, because I love the vibe of the space and the drinks are amazing! I'm a huge fan of their chai latte, also known as their Tumbleweed Latte. It is so flavorful with a perfect blend of sweet and spice. The taste is so unique and different from any other chai I've had before which makes me think they steep their chai in house (as opposed to using a concentrate or powder). I've tried some of their food items, their croissant and burrito, and I'd say they are just average, nothing to write home about, but if this review was based solely on the drinks I'd give them five stars instead of four. Thank you to everyone at Blackbird for the wonderful experiences and tasty drinks each time I've dropped in!

Writing this while waiting over 45 minutes for a simple drink. No apology just rudely responding when I asked to change my drink to a drip.

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

I understand that they are hoping to encourage people to cycle instead of drive, but it seemed a bit much to pay to buy food at their establishment. Next, the line was Looooong and moved at a glacial pace. While chatting with others in line, the wait time seemed to be pretty typical for weekends. Waiting over an hour in the sun to place an order is too long yall. It's time to open a second window to take orders quicker. The food was truly sad. :( We ordered an oatmeal cookie (flavorless), the Green Chile bagel sandwich (which wasn't really a bagel? It was a roll and it was super greasy.), a lemonade (so watered down it was basically lightly flavored water), veggie and fish tacos (both of which needed seasoning and were cold, PLUS the veggies on the veggie taco were those pre mixed vegetables kits you buy at the grocery store that come frozen in the bulk section. So soggy, cold and not appetizing.) and an iced coffee which was fine but weak. The location is doing all the heavy lifting for this place, because it is truly stunning. Green trees everywhere and lots of outside space to sit. But with all these negatives, plus lots of up-charging on the menu, we won't be back. Sorry guys, Albuquerque knows good food, and this ain't it.
