"I wouldn't be sad if you brought me coffee" I'm driving towards downtown and I'm trying to find a coffee shop, local preferably. And there it was, Burning Daylight. Lots of seats inside and so many are drinking out of small . They tell me for the month of October, you can have your drink like that. How fun is that. Lots of folks sitting and visiting. The staff was super friendly and my iced drink and chai were very good. It's not far from Lomas with street parking. It has attire for sale, cozy seating and bar seating. I'll definitely be back. read more

Finally made it in! This spot has been on my bucket list of places to try for a while! Love the vibes and the space, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! Service was so kind and helpful with offering support with suggestions if needed. Drinks and food came quickly! Forgot to get water and they brought us water right away. I got the maple glazed donut latte half sweet with oat milk. So good, glad I asked for half sweet it was a good call and it was just right! My son got a single stack pancake with whip cream and berries! So good I stole several bites when he was done! You order then take your number and find a spot to sit! Overall 10 out of 10 and will be back for sure! Highly recommend! read more

This place is so nice! Large breakfast menu and good coffee. I made a very early morning stop on my way to the airport since I had some time to kill and it was just 10min away. Lots of seating and outlets. Very friendly staff. Good for solo diners and groups. read more

New location, same great business. Since my original review Burning Daylight has relocated to downtown. The new spot is very trendy & offers even more seating than before. I have to say I love it! They have great food options for quick meals. I got the green chile grilled cheese & it was great. That was the only meal option I saw for Vegetarians/ but it's a great one. Fries were also good. Overall cute spot, fair pricing. Love it. read more

You got to counter and order drinks and food. They called your name to pickup drinks and bring you food. It took a long time, however the drinks in carved pumpkins were a hit. They charged 4+ dollars for the pumpkins. My wife and daughter got pumpkin coffee latte drinks and I got an iced tea. The peach flavoring was very week. My chicken and waffles were excellent. My wife liked her breakfast burrito. My daughter a fruit bowl. Nice ambiance. They also had bagel and cream cheese ans pastries. read more

4.5 stars Came here to try the viral pumpkin drinks (served in a pumpkin). My friend and I came yesterday afternoon, but they were already sold out (best to come before 12:30 they said). It's a cute little shop with easy parking and plenty of outdoor seating. I got the cranberry Italian soda yesterday, which was good but thought it could've used a little bit of a stronger flavor. My friend got the decaf coffee. I came back this morning and got the pumpkin spiced chai (comes with whipped cream) for my pumpkin and it wasn't too busy overall. The pumpkins come in one size, so with the charge for the 20 oz chai (didn't think the mini pumpkin could hold that much) and the upcharge for the pumpkin cup and tax, came out to a little more than $10. At first, wasn't sure if it was worth it, but the chai had good flavor to it (I think having it in a real pumpkin brought out the pumpkin flavor ecven more). A man who I believe was the manager or owner personally came out to check on me and the other girl who was sitting on the patio to see if there was anything we needed and to deter any loiterers. Perfect day to spend sippin' on the patio 2025 #77 read more

Cool vibes inside. Lots of windows letting in the sun. Street parking just outside. Small brunch menu, but inventive items. Loving the new location, has nice areas to work/study/read improved food options, coffee is good as always.

While Albuquerque hasn't really impressed me as a whole, this coffee shop is one of the absolute gems of my trip. It's honestly one of the best cafes I've ever been to. The drinks and food are completely on point, the aesthetic and layout are amazing, and the music playlist is perfect. 10/10--come enjoy your morning coffee here! read more

You know that moment you find a place you instantly know you will return to- Welcome to Burning Daylight! You order at the coffee counter and you have your choice of seats; counter, tables, bar (full bar coming in a few months), and some cool nooks/crannies that include short couches and lounge chairs. Plenty of outdoor space as well. I opted for a flat white and it took me back to the flat whites found in Europe. They have a simple but sufficient breakfast menu. I had to try their breakfast burrito and tried both red and green chile. The chile was perfectly flavored (!) with the green having a little more bite than the red. Burrito was too big for me to finish, but I believe my husband would not have had a problem finishing it. Staff was super friendly, even though they were busy, they chatted with almost everyone. You could tell they had a number of regulars coming in as their conversations were much more personable. Right across from the courthouse, downtown area or a short drive from UNM. This is my new place. read more

We overheard Burning Daylight's owner sharing about his shop while we were at Caffe Enzo recently and decided to stop there. I'm pretty sure I ordered an iced mocha, but I got an iced latte with some kind of sweetener instead. It was really good but I couldn't taste any chocolate, which I didn't really notice until I was most of the way done. Dh enjoyed his hot chocolate. I didn't try it but it looked good. I'm looking forward to visiting them when they move to their new location. read more

Visited Burning Daylight this morning for the first time and loved everything about it! The location, the decor, the vibe, the service, the food and the coffee were all fantastic! My wife and I had an excellent experience and we will be back soon to try more of their options. This morning I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chili, my wife had the breakfast burrito, also with bacon and both red and green chili, which was super spicy and delicious! For drinks we had coffees which were both full of flavor! We will be back soon, everyone needs to try this place! read more

I recently visited Albuquerque and came across an amazing coffee shop with a vintage vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and filled with character and charm. The owner Charles is incredibly friendly and welcoming--it really makes a difference and adds to the overall experience. The coffee is brewed to perfection and the breakfast burrito with the green sauce gets 10 stars! A perfect spot for a relaxing break, working space (outlets available for your laptop charging) or catching up with friends. I liked this spot so much I visited nearly everyday during my stay. Beer and wine coming soon. The bar area is super nice and is quite the vibe. Highly recommend! read more

Overall, it was an OK visit. I ordered a flat white my wife ordered a caramel latte. The flat white was prepared nicely and had a hint of cinnamon which I enjoyed my wife's latte on the other hand tasted watered down maybe too much ice. I'm not sure. Overall the service was prompt. The atmosphere warm and accommodating. I probably go back. read more

Came in excited to try this new coffee place. Was informed that it would be bit of a wait, which I understand, it's new and went viral on social media for their cute pumpkin mug, so totally understandable. I waited 30 mins before going to ask about my order. When I went up to ask, I was treated me as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them. They informed me they called my name out multiple times and someone must have took my drinks. I told them I had been sitting on the couch and did not hear anyone call my name. The barista looked at me with disdain and upset but reluctantly offered to remake but made sure to tell me again he did call it out, and that someone had taken it. Seemed as if they were gonna do me a favor. I understand this is an uncommon situation and I would've been happy to wait for them to remake it, as I understand it could've been something out of the shop's control. Unfortunately the way I was treated felt disrespectful and honestly I opted to not waste my time and left. Very disappointing to be treated that way. I don't plan on coming back but wish the business luck. read more

Had the breakfast burrito smothered in green chiles, partner had the breakfast croissant and both were very good. Coffee was excellent as well. Service was efficient and friendly. The coffee is absolutely fantastic and made with care. The space is such a gem-- modern yet rustic, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to stay for a while. This is the kind of place where you can relax with a book, catch up with a friend, or get some work done. I'll definitely be back! read more

Burning Daylight is a super unique place! It's a place for coffee, relaxation..and even antique/cool item browsing/shopping all at the same time! From the outside, it doesn't look like a cafe (the place's appearance from the outside looks so unassuming..but inside..there's a lot of character!). The owner of the shop told me Burning Daylight is just 9 months old (as of Oct) and I really like this place already! They are open 7 days a week..and from the morning til afternoon! The place is also cozy...that you can just come in..grab your coffee/snacks to go...do your work (hello, free and available wifi!), catch up with friends (comfy+ cute cozy seats) and/or do your home decor shopping! Lots of parking outside since there's a huge parking lot in front of the shop as well! Overall, I'm so glad I found this gem through Yelp. I would never have guessed there's such a cool + friendly coffee shop like Burning Daylight inside..but hey...that's what a real gem is like right? Check it out if you can..lots of options for your cafe drinks (and snacks) in such a welcoming atmospherein midtown area. read more

The food was very good. The coffee too. They really put some beautiful work into their look.

The food was amazing and we went there epically for Pumpkin Latte. Service was great and Ambiance was also good to my liking.

I stopped in for a morning coffee and really enjoyed this spot! The family flea market that it is in has some nice finds/selections to peruse, and the shop has some very cool murals in their nice seating area! The barista was very nice and I went with the short, dark & handsome (dark chocolate cortado)! It was well made and hit the spot - I would definitely recommend this shop! read more

Barista was very pushy when I walked in to order something - I hadn't even made it to the counter to look at the menu. After 10 seconds of looking at the menu I ordered an ice vanilla latte. Coffee was out quick. I began drinking the coffee when I got home and there was no syrup in the drink. I would definitely not come here. It's worth your time to swing into Burning Daylight Coffee and give this little shop your business. The exterior is not attractive, as they are tucked in as a vendor in an indoor flea market whose exterior is not well maintained. However, once you open the door and step inside, this is a cute little place. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and they've decorated their little corner well and have plenty of seating. There are drinks of many varieties and some tasty treats on display as well. Interesting wares surround you in the flea market so it's interesting to grab your coffee and peruse the wares. read more

I rarely feel compelled to write a yelp review but the cold brew here is the best I've had in the city. It's super flavorful and is brewed properly, so it doesn't bother my stomach later in the day. Love this place! The coffee is consistently fresh and flavorfull. The baked goods (at least the ones I've tried) are totally tasty. Good coffee. We were able to sit outside and enjoy it on a beautiful day. We didn't try any thing to eat, just the coffee.

This is the best dirty chai I've ever had! Semi-buried in the back of an antique/thrift shop, it has a skill that is completely unexpected in a hole in the wall coffee company.
