hollys nails out here wasting peoples time - made an APPOINTMENT for 2 services just to be told LAST MIN during my first service they won't be doing my 2nd service - due to their lack of timing. On my first visit an older gentleman hurti me repeatedly as he trimmed my toe nails. He scraped the bottom of my foot so badly that it bled for a long time. He finally administered some type of glue. I am now suffering quite a bit of pain when I walk and I don't know how long it will take to heal. The upper part of my calf was all sticky from whatever he used to massage me. I was very disappointed with this gentlelman. I thought they should have compensated me in some way. I will never go there again. read more

My sister went here yesterday to get a full set of nails as well as her taking a friend for same . First they were quoted over the phone 45$ per set . When they were finished ,they told her 120$ - and if that wasnt bad enough ,,they ran her card for 140+$!!! They LITERALLY STOLE MONEY from her.!! When she questioned them ,she was told they charge for the " coffin" shape! I've been getting my nails done for Years - all over the valley and Never been charged for the shape and certainly not this ridiculous amount! Sadly they steal from older customers. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE .would give zero stars and I'm thinking of going to file a report at police station for them telling her 1 amount ,then adding 24$ on . Rudest people on the planet. They did well in that little dump for a while. I just tried to go in with my 6yr old daughter and they attacked me about her not wearing a mask. As an adult, I had one on. They refused her manicure and kicked us out. Due to fear, this place will be shut down. They already have horrible business and just refused the one customer for the day. My daughter left in tears how mean they were to her. Children should not wear masks, they need to do some research. They then wrote me with fake news CDC guidelines saying children under 2 should wear a mask...they have no idea what the actual requirements are. Wow, that isn't right. Research your masks on children that young people! Ridiculous that they would push that. read more

BEWARE!! They gave me a nail fungus!!! I've never had a nail fungus in my life and I hadn't even gone to get a professional pedicure in over a year. Just did them myself @ home. Well, Decided to take my 4 year old daughter for the first time on her birthday. One month later I have a deformed toenail that is half way falling off! $65 down the drain! Wish I never went there! Now I have to go see a foot doctor! Don't trust them! Update #2: (In response to owner update) You know, I think it is pretty funny how you are handling this situation. Where exactly did I mention that your shop is nasty? I didn't. And my picture did not show redness because it was a month+ later... as I clearly mentioned. I never said the tech ripped my cuticles on purpose, she did clip my skin when she was doing my cuticles but that happens sometimes so I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I also think it's funny how nice you were in your direct message to me but now you want to come at me another way on here. And I find it interesting that none of your responses are now no longer showing up on public view for anyone else to see, hmmm... Honestly, I was about to take down my review just because I was willing to let it go... but your attitude and defensiveness has made me think differently. That's too bad. Hopefully it was a one time mistake but if this is how you really treat customers when a mistake is made by one of your technicians... then I would never consider any of you trustworthy with my feet & hands! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They need to lift their mask restriction. Absolutely stupid. There is no mandate in AZ anymore yet they make us sit there with masks on while getting a pedicure. How relaxing is that to be forced to wear one while trying to relax. The employee giving the pedicure has a mask on. That should be enough. And she didn't care if I had one on either but the other lady that works there sure did. My usual nail salon doesn't require masks but they were closed already when I went there. So now I won't be back to this place. Not until they become less stupid. I will no longer give my money to a business like this. read more

Do not ever go here. I walked in and immediately was asked what I needed done. I stated Full set.. lady responded with an attitude and said "That's it?!" I said yes and she proceeded to tell me I needed to leave because it just couldn't be done today. Keep in mind this is at 12pm in the middle of The afternoon. Then she has the nerve to ask me when I want to come back. How about never lady?! I made an appointment for 1:30 on the day of per their time slots for a pedicure and my mom made an appointment for a fill at the same time. My mother was just about finished with her fill by the time they called me back. If you have time to sit and wait around fine but it is the holidays and everyone is busy this is why I made an appointment in the first place. There was things that needed to be done today still. I do not recommend this place, unless you have 40 minutes to spare until you are even taken care of! What's the point in even making an appointment. read more

I've been coming to this nail shop for around 10 years but I won't be coming back after today. I've had the worst experience today. Hahn was quite rude to other employees and to me. He put a nail on crooked and when I pointed it out he said something under his breath and I told him that if he had something to say about me he could say it in English to my face. He apologized and then all of a sudden they don't understand English. No you have never had a problem talking to me or me understanding for many years. I have brought my mother here my daughter my whole family! We have all used your services but we won't anymore. Ever since the pandemic this shop has not been the same. And after my experience today I won't be coming back nor do I recommend this shop any longer. read more

Been really needing to get my nails done. I called and they nicely set me up for an appointment the same day. I got there at 6:30 and they happily accomodated me. I was so surprised since they closed at 7pm. I got a gel mani for $30 with design and classic pedi for $20. I did use a groupon so it made it more affordable. Mani is pretty reasonably priced since it was abiut the same as most places. Pedi was a lil steep but it was worth it. The salon looks a lil outdated but still pretty nice. Looks like a regular salon but nothing luxurious, which is fine. At least it looks pretty clean. I was the only customer when I got there and they had two nail techs working at the same time. Thanks for that :) They were very accomodating and they even stayed late after closing, super appreciate it!! I was watching the techs to see if they would try to hurry my appointment but no...they definitely took their time. They very carefully cleaned and painted my nails. I love how my mani turned out I know the guy that did it tried his best to copy the picture I showed him (yes, I said a guy dis my nails ). And I loved how the girl that did my toes were very meticulous about my pedicure. She was very careful and I felt very much pampered. I know next time I'll try not to come in when they are closing so they might be more accomodating because I know they were ready to go home. Only complain was the talking in another language loudly, but I'm kinda used to it I guess. Def will be coming back :) Thanks again for staying late!!! read more

I have been going to Holly's for about 4 years now. Not once have I had anything less than a perfect experience. As with any salon, they can get rather busy at times but they are always accommodating and respectful of your time. If they can't fit you in, they will tell you. Once I had a nail break, they got me in immediately as the doors opened and out with a repair on my way to work within about 15 mins. Mai is terrific! Between her and the rest of the staff you will always find yourself laughing and thoroughly enjoying your time. Pricing is very reasonable as well. I utilize them for nails, pedicures and waxing services. Highly recommend! read more

Dont waste your time going here. There are far too many salons in the valley that will first, value your time and business. They take as many walk in customers as they can even if it means runs into your appointment time. If you read some of the unfavorable reviews their responses are filled with nothing but excuses. Mai, Lisa and the whole staff are awesome. Very friendly and they give you wonderful relaxed massages and mani/pedis. I also had my eyebrows done and was very pleased. I just made my third appt today-they are always accommodating to my schedule and take me promptly. was extremely rude from the second i walked in. i came here as i was visiting the area & wanted my nails done, i call before coming & once i get there i'm the only customer. i told them i wanted acrylics & the man said ok & told the lady. we start doing my nails & i can tell she's doing a manicure which i didn't not ask for, i then tell her i wanted coffin nails & she threw her stuff down spilling water everywhere & let out a huge grunt. the man & woman both then started putting me down saying how dumb i am & that i need to say full set not just acrylics... (i've never had to say that before so i really did not know) finally the nails are getting done, i ask for them long she cuts them short then proceeds to file them so much shorter than she cut them. she shaped them horribly, painted them horribly, to the point where all the paint is already chipping & it hasn't even been a full week. these nails look like a child did them & i can't believe i paid almost 50$ for this. please do not come here for acrylics it is a waste of time!!!! read more

I got eyelash extensions yesterday. I have had them for two years from another salon in Chandler but thought I would try this place after a friend recommended it. I found Holly to be pushy about the pricing at first telling me $100. She did my eyelashes in 30 minutes and it looked like a 30 min job. The entire time she did my eyelashes she was fighting with a friend who was standing there next to me accusing her of flirting with an ex of hers.... Can you say "unprofessional" . I am going in to my previous salon as quick as possible to get them removed because they looked like cheap spiders on top of my eyes. read more

My friend and I went in here yesterday and showed up about 10 minutes early so we could pick a color and were rudely rushed to get started and neither of us were asked what shape we wanted, I was fine with mine but my friend said she started to put the acrylic covering on two nails before she noticed and she had to start over to get them coffin shaped and then charged $5 for it. She didn't even let the lady paint her nails because she was afraid of how that would turn out. I don't feel like a lot of them are properly trained. I usually come here all the time but it's been getting worse each visit. read more
