It was about time I had a head spa appointment!! The last time I did it was my first time back in Murrieta, CA for my birthday maybe 3 years ago. I thought it was heaven but O M G SanTan Nails & Spa blew that out of the water!! I scheduled my appointment for 3:30 pm on a Saturday. When I walked in, I had to fill out a waiver by scanning a QR code and within a minute or two, I was all set. Kali came to get me and brought me to the bed I would be laying on for the duration of my appointment. The nail salon is separated from the room with the massage beds. Each bed is separated with a curtain to provide you with privacy as you change into a wrap. I would highly suggest wearing clothing that's easy to remove so you can get settled in faster. I wore a short dress so changing took me no time at all. Kali went straight to work by putting plastic bags over my feet, then wrapping my legs in the inflatable leg massagers. The pressure would build up then release for a relaxing massage on my lower limbs. She then started with my facial and eventually on my hair. I don't know what she was using, but the tools she used on my face felt AMAZING!!! She also put on this eye mask thingy that felt so cool and calming. I was in lalaland!! I took a nice long nap as she massaged my face, scalp, arms, hands and décolletté. When I tell you I was on Cloud 9, please believe me!!! The Deluxe Head Spa is worth its weight in gold. Luckily for me, I got it at a great price, too. Thanks to their Instagram post, they are currently offering 20% off their regular prices so I paid $116 instead of the regular $145. What a steal!! After my service, I was offered water, soda, or lemonade. I chose lemonade but unfortunately, they ran out so I just had some cold water. Kali asked if I wanted her to blow dry my hair, but I opted not to since I was going home right after I was done. Besides, my hair is NOT the business if it isn't straightened or curled after drying! Trust me!! Lol I was totally impressed and felt like a new woman when I walked out. Other than the fact that they ran out of lemonade and that my hair was damp when I left, I'm still giving this place 5 stars because it was such a relaxing experience! Maybe next time I'll bring my Dyson AirStrait so that I can dry/straighten my hair after my service (if they allow it). Thank you Kali for your magical hands! if I could give zero stars I would, very rude and disrespectful. they reached out to me to schedule through dm on instagram and I said yes I would love to! they proceeding to ask me for my availability and then when I gave it and followed up 24 hours later after not receiving a response, I was blocked. I then called a few days later to follow up with the person through instagram dm and asked to speak to them they took my name and number down and it's been well over a week and haven't gotten a phone call. extremely unprofessional and strange for them to do as a business. in no way shape or form was I rude or anything like that. would not recommend coming to this salon!!! read more

They had a clinician with long silky hair that ruined my nail forever. She filed my nail by the cuticle on purpose saying I did that and now my nail cracks 3/4 up the nail to the edge. I have to use glue every week to fill in the breakage at the white tip of the nail. This happened years ago and they wouldn't give me her license # so that I could file a complaint with the state. I am still perplexed to this day as to why she did it. I just know that I would never go there again. Ever. read more

I went in for a pedicure. Right off the bat, the technician suggested one of the more expensive ones and showed me the collagen packet that would be used. She was a little pushy with the more expensive one but I chose the cheapest one. She grabbed her tools from a dirty basket on her cart. She didn't take them out of a sanitary package although I saw the packages on her cart. Before she cut my toenails, she had to tap the toenail clipper to get whatever residuals out of the clippers. The price is definitely on the cheaper side compared to other nail salons. She did a good job on the polish. I would love to return, but the tools in the dirty basket has deterred me. read more

Came to SanTan Nails & Spa with my husband for 2 pedicures, 1 manicure, and 1 brow and lip wax. It was my husband's first time getting a pedicure and they paid a lot of attention to detail and took time to put him back in good standing shape. I felt like my pedicure was rushed. I went to this location over a year ago with the same concerns as I have now. I forgot the reason why I stopped going... immediately I remembered as I sat down to do a pedicure. My friend stuck her feet for 3-5 seconds in boiling hot water until she realized and yelled "hot" and pulled her feet out. Her feet were red for 2 hours after. My nail lady was so aggressive and rushed everything. She was trying to file the top on my toe nails but filed my skin along with it. You can see in my picture how red two of my toes were. I was bleeding to which she saw and put alcohol on it. It burnt so bad. On top of it all she as rushed so much she didn't get a lot of the sides of my nails. I'm pretty sure the manager or owner was walking around with a clipboard rushing everyone because he kept placing more and more people in chairs. I really don't recommend this place and it reminded me why I will not be coming back here again in the future. Their customer service is subpar at best. I wanted to love this salon so badly... it's the closest to my house and it's always pretty easy to schedule. This is the third time I have been here. I have left every time with cuts usually on my toes from filing them so short which isn't ideal but I do like them short so it's been tolerable. This last time I did a gel pedicure and dip manicure with tips. The pedicure was perfect. The manicure was a lot of filing. I asked for coffin shape and advised it's ok if they are longer. Second time visiting - pedi day with my lovely sis. Making an appointment is easy. You can call in, do it online, or walk in. The salon is clean and bright. That's where the allure of this visit ends. There was a young man at reception who checked us in. He seemed a bit annoyed that we were a little early. Yet, we didn't even get time to pick our polish off the wall. My sister asked him if she could not have a tech named Joey or Joanne, as she had hurt her and cut her up last time. Though he seemed annoyed, he let her know that she was not in today and we would be with someone else. We are seated in a good set of chairs with working massage. My foot bath is ice cold and is not turned on. My sister's tech (an older woman who barely speaks to us) comes over and starts doing her pedi, with my person nowhere in sight. Finally, a younger woman who is very friendly comes over and begins my pedi. My feet are a little bit sensitive, but more sensitive when you are scraping off skin so that I bleed, and more so when you pour acetone into the wounds. The pedicure is very rushed, and somehow we both end up getting polish at the same time, despite my delayed start. We both got barely any lotion massage, sugar scrub, or hot rocks. Like basically one second of rock and then a towel. Our layers of polish get applied, and then without a word, both of our ladies disappear. The young man from the front desk comes over and applies the top coat for each of us. How weird is that?! He leaves us again several times to tend to the desk. He does manage to let us know how busy it is. There are lots of empty chairs and tables, and we have seen it much busier in there. First of all, they have raised their prices, which I completely understand. But when you're not even getting the same service for more money, it's very disappointing. When they're hurting you and don't recognize it, even when you say "ouch" or "please stop", that's a problem. There are no shortage of nail salons out there, and they're wrong if they think that allowing me to be a customer is doing me a favor. I'll bet that there are five more nail salons just within the mile. In the future, we will be going to anyone of them but this one. read more

Terrible over priced. I took my mom there and they literally nickled and dimed us to death. I got a normal pedi which apparently for $40 doesn't include callous remover and she willing removed a ingrown toe nail and later said that was additional $5. My poor mom couldn't understand a word they were saying other than $15 more for gel and then she wanted French and then they charged a removal fee for fingers and toes. I forgot to mention when we first sat down and dipped our toes in running hot water it felt good than hot water was burning us so we took our feet out and the water almost overflowed until someone came running over. We said this water is too hot!! Also when she was doing the callous remover she was scrubbing on skin that didn't have callous. We spent far too much money and will NEVER GO BACK! read more

I had a great experience here! I saw Renee, she was fast and efficient. I called same-day to get an appointment and they stayed open 30 minutes past closing to accommodate me. I had the lovely experience of encountering the two girls from the review below me. Quite frankly, it was horrible to watch them be so disrespectful to the lovely woman at the front desk. People need to remember that employees are people to. The review that she left was simply out of anger that she could not get away with getting a free service. She did something new today in my nails and I absolutely love them!
