This spot on Obispo is the worst location of the chain! Whenever I have ordered from UbetEats or picked up food, there is always something wrong. On Sunday I ordered the Nachos Mama Nachos only to be given really old carne asada meat that was dry, hard, and difficult to chew! The chips were also stale and rancid. The manager Rene was at the restaurant and is in charge of cooking the protein so that should tell you that he doesn't care about the quality or freshness. I miss the location on Almond. I've come here a couple times, and the food is DELICIOUS! The service is good, quick, and the ambiance is laid back! I always get the Baja Shrimp Burrito! It's a must! It's perfectly delicious, and honestly the only thing it's missing is cheese! Truly, it's yummy! Make sure to ask that tehy're not stingy with the shrimp though, because one of the times i only had 3 shrimp in the whole thing. Haha The most recent time I went, I got the Baja Shrimp Burrito again, but I also got a brisket taco and 2 shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were great, but the brisket tacos won me over! I wasn't expecting them to be amazing, which is why I only got one, but I actually should've gotten three! I never expected brisket would taste so good on a taco! It's a MUST TRY for sure! Food is always 10/10. I think my only complaint is I feel like everyone that works there, needs to come to an agreement of which one is crema and which one is sour cream. I get something different EVERY SINGLE TIME. 50% of the time, when I order crema, I get the white sauce from the tacos. The other 50-%, it's plain sour cream. I'm reviewing the "surf n turf taco plate" 4 tacos, (2 fish, 2 brisket) -fish tacos were battered perfectly; the batter didn't slide off the fish and still had a crunch, and didn't taste like burnt oil. -the fish was not overcooked and still slightly translucent as it should be. -brisket was super tender and flavorful. I decided to have some lunch here on a whim since I hadn't eaten and saw as I walked up along Obispo Ave. The location is very easy to spot along Obispo Ave, right before the Overseas Garage. The painted window with the logo in blue and orange helps. There are also several tables and chairs to eat outside. Inside is very small, with only one table to sit and eat in and the counter to order. I imagine a lot of people order to go. There's also a single restroom inside as well, which is around the corner from the soda and hot sauce station. I ordered the Nacho Papas Nachos with brisket added on. This was so good! Thick cut fries, with beans, and melted cheese, pretty standard. But the brisket made it...you could taste the smokiness of it which was so great. It was tender and a nice addition to the fries. If you can eat this fresh!Definitely not expecting how good the brisket was. Would love to try their tacos next time. Staff interaction was brief and minimal so I can't say much about that. Rating: 3.5 Holè Molè on Obispo (between 4th and 5th) has great customer service over the phone but in person it was kind of a... dry ambiance. The person I placed my phone order with was so dry in-person. I ordered a chicken bowl and as I was leaving from paying I did a double take at their condiments bar and noticed that all their sauces and limes were just out and uncovered without lids. I didn't like that and it bothered me because I wondered if my condiments came from there!? I thought having the condiments without lids on to cover was unsanitary -- just in case things fly in from outside and gets into the sauce or on the limes...But I digress. Little sauce, little cheese and the unwanted addition of avocado and carnitas, while normally that sounds nice, I'm allergic to avocado and don't like meat in my breakfast nachos. They messed up my order. I called to let them know and the entire time they kept telling me that I was lying and my order was right. I brought back the food that was wrong to get it corrected but not only the cashier Adrian kept on telling me I was lying, while I had the food in front of them, but the cooks came out to also tell me I was lying. Even after showing them the food they insisted on calling me a liar. At this point I was fed up with their lack of customer service and asked for a refund, which they refused to do. I'm a fan for life! I just had the carne asada nachos. The meat was flavorful and still juicy. The guacamole was creamy and well balanced. The chips were still crisp and just the right of salt on them. The filling along with the meat was flavorful put all together with the chips, its perfect. Sure it's more expensive now, but was isn't? Love the care of the packaging of my to go order. Needed a meal and I was stuck at home so I had this meal delivered by Door Dash. Inexpensive and close to home. Their crunchy tacos come in pairs, an order of both their potato and bean tacos. Their tacos shells weee crunchy and the potatoes were seasoned, and was filled with generous portion of fresh lettuce and cheese. I was impressed that my crunchy bean tacos were did not penetrate through the taco shell , instead they held up and remained crunchy. The beans were seasoned and were nice and soft, again a healthy portion of both lettuce and cheese. My chicken tacos were scrumptious, rich seasoned pulled chicken meat, lettuce, cheese, and a nice delicious secret sauce (color of thousand island dressing but tasted better than that), I also had their seasoned fries, not too hard and not too soft just right and plenty of them. Love their peppers as they were sprinkled with lemon pepper, which totally complemented the tacos. Overall I was pleased and will definitely dine inside their next time. read more

This location is awful! That's why I stopped going but didn't realize this was the location in Uber Eats. The bean soup, I mean bean soup is waaaayyy too salty! It looked like they ran out of whole beans added refried beans and some salty water! Therice was old AND salty! They should take some of that salt and put it on those BLAND,spicy potato tacos! I recommend the wardlow location hands down! What a waste of money. read more
