This spot on Obispo is the worst location of the chain! Whenever I have ordered from UbetEats or picked up food, there is always something wrong. On Sunday I ordered the Nachos Mama Nachos only to be given really old carne asada meat that was dry, hard, and difficult to chew! The chips were also stale and rancid. The manager Rene was at the restaurant and is in charge of cooking the protein so that should tell you that he doesn't care about the quality or freshness. I miss the location on Almond. Order was always done right and the chips, fresh! I will NEVER return to the Obispo location!

Best fish tacos in town. Simple tasty and the batter to fish ratio is spot on. They cost $2.99 per fish taco and they are so good. I have been here many times and they are always busy. Cool little hole in the wall place with indoor and outdoor seating. I have tried some of their other stuff but the fish tacos is the reason I come here and will come back as well. Absolutely 5 stars on this location!!

Still a great taco place. Trying fish tacos since been eating 10 meats earlier from 4 places. Great service, fast turnaround and good fish batter. Enjoyed the meal overall.

I've come here a couple times, and the food is DELICIOUS! The service is good, quick, and the ambiance is laid back! I always get the Baja Shrimp Burrito! It's a must! It's perfectly delicious, and honestly the only thing it's missing is cheese! Truly, it's yummy! Make sure to ask that tehy're not stingy with the shrimp though, because one of the times i only had 3 shrimp in the whole thing. Haha The most recent time I went, I got the Baja Shrimp Burrito again, but I also got a brisket taco and 2 shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were great, but the brisket tacos won me over! I wasn't expecting them to be amazing, which is why I only got one, but I actually should've gotten three! I never expected brisket would taste so good on a taco! It's a MUST TRY for sure! I'll definitely be returning next time I'm in town!

Love finding these unexpected places when you just want something satisfying and not overpriced. I've been to 2 hole moles and this is the best one so far. I'm reviewing the "surf n turf taco plate" 4 tacos, (2 fish, 2 brisket) -fish tacos were battered perfectly; the batter didn't slide off the fish and still had a crunch, and didn't taste like burnt oil. -the fish was not overcooked and still slightly translucent as it should be. -brisket was super tender and flavorful. TIPS -ask for 3 extra yellow chilies they are worth the price! (Thank me later, be careful they're HOT temperature wise) Did I mention the price was insane?

I decided to have some lunch here on a whim since I hadn't eaten and saw as I walked up along Obispo Ave. The location is very easy to spot along Obispo Ave, right before the Overseas Garage. The painted window with the logo in blue and orange helps. There are also several tables and chairs to eat outside. Inside is very small, with only one table to sit and eat in and the counter to order. I imagine a lot of people order to go. There's also a single restroom inside as well, which is around the corner from the soda and hot sauce station. I ordered the Nacho Papas Nachos with brisket added on. This was so good! Thick cut fries, with beans, and melted cheese, pretty standard. But the brisket made it...you could taste the smokiness of it which was so great. It was tender and a nice addition to the fries. If you can eat this fresh!Definitely not expecting how good the brisket was. Would love to try their tacos next time. Staff interaction was brief and minimal so I can't say much about that. Definitely not bad at all. Overall great pick for lunch!

Food is really good best Holè Molè in Long Beach . Service is always good and it's the best location to eat outside with the nice weather!

It's normally taco Tuesday or dinner. It wasn't busy when we arrived. Mainly everyone was seated outside which we wanted a table as well. There was one that we were interested in and asked if we could have it which the waitress working was ok with. But it needed clearing up. It took a while for someone to come out and clear and clean the table up. It was fine waiting but it was like did someone forget about us. Anyways. We got seated and then the waiting continued. It could be that they were short staff but it seemed like there was only one person working. It took a while for someone to finally come back and acknowledge us and take our order. After that the chips and salsa were brought out. Once we ordered the drinks it was easier to place everything together. Menu for happy hour is pretty limited. A few drinks and beer on drafts and for food, maybe 6 items on the menu. Went with an order of the street corn which was quite tasty. An order of the mole chicken nachos and the queso dip with barria. Out of the three, the queso dips and the street corn were great. Nachos were good but nothing really major. The flavors of everything were quite tasty. Dishes were 12.00 an item. For happy hour, it was decent and what we had was good. The service was pretty slow at the beginning. Only the front patio and inside seating was available as the back patio wasn't open. We did start to see other staff walking in so maybe there was only one staff during the time.

Seeing people going in and out which I knew it was a restaurant. Last night we started off with drinks at the speakeasy next door. The two places share restrooms and that's how I found out about this place. Let me say it was a vibe. The first thing you notice from the back, the bar area and Photo Booth. And the live DJ keeping the place on its feet. We ended up wanted to check it out as it was a full restaurant and bar. Friday night without a reservation, spoke with hostess which they could accommodate 6 of us in a bit. Still had to close out at the other place before. The restaurant has a cool vibe with the main dining area in front, bar area towards the back side and on the opposite site is where the DJ booth was. Sam was our waitress who took very good care of us. Very sweet, friendly and of course attentive. Made sure that we were well taken cared of and if anything was needed she was there. It's a cool Mexican restaurant with a cool vibe to match. The place did get lively and was pretty full. You had parties up and dancing and enjoying themselves. Anyway, food and drinks. Started off with some spicy margaritas. Wow, they were strong but good. You had to sip versus drink... lol... Bartender was not playing and in a good way. The menu is somewhat limited compared to other restaurants but what was offered all looked amazing. A modern twist to Mexican food but still with the amazing authentic flavors. Instead of a meal we opted for à la carte and shared everything. Also was informed that the dishes are like tapas and great for sharing. Chips and salsa were brought out which both the chips and salsa were excellent. An order or the aguachille which had that nice sour taste with the lime juice perfectly balanced for the shrimp and trimmings. Served with tostada. The shrimp ceviche, another wonderful dish. Nicely marinaded in the lime juice was very flavorful and also served with tostada. An order of the enchiladas, came with three but we split it for 6 of us. The cheese and filling was very good. The molcajete served in a volcanic bowl stuffed with different meat, cactus, cheese all combined to create an amazing dish full of flavors. A must have and lastly the adobado hamachi collar, yellowtail. Very tasty but did have a fishy taste. Yes it's fish but still. Quite tasty and plentiful. Overall food and vibe was great. The place was definitely lively in the evening. We can finally say we've been and tried some amazing dish. It's a place that worth coming back for more.
