The store manager in the Temecula Hobby Lobby is the worst. She just short of rude. Every time you pass this woman she is talking about someone. She is unpleasant to say the least. If you call this location and ask for this manager, it is a miracle if she answers the call. She is a horrible human being. read more

I usually LOVE Hobby Lobby but this store has horrible customer service and managers. Today, manager Marilyn told us that their policy is that once you open the product it's an inconvenience for the store if you return it if the product is faulty. We bought food coloring that was a completely different color than on the bottle and advertised so we tried to return it. They guilt tripped us because they said since it is opened and faulty, they can't re-sell it. I reiterated that it was a poor product and not what the bottle advertised. They said that they would do it just this ONE time but i'm making it a huge inconvenience. Very poor customer service at this location. read more

I just left the store today at 6:08 pm and had the pleasure of having Kandie as our cashier. The line grew very long and she was due to either be off or go to lunch and she still provided us amazing service. I had an extensive return due to my niece changing her party theme and Kandie didnt bat an eye on helping me with my return without a receipt! Kandie is the best Hobby Lobby employee I've ever encountered, I hope someone high up sees this and truly appreciates her effort and outstanding customer service. read more

My best friend who lives in Boise raves about this store!! Must be a small town craft store because I have never seen this store before where I live. She told me it's like a Michael's but 3x bigger. Boy was she right. This place is HUGE!! I wouldn't say I am a crafty type person but for special holidays I love putting stuff together for my kids and things for their class friends. They really have it all here even furniture!! Everything was nicely organized and the prices can't be beat!! Got some cute wall art for like $12! Kids watercolors were like $2! Everyone in the family each walked away with something they loved including myself! I'm glad this store isn't close to home as I would be here way too much! read more

We were picking up a picture my mom had framed there. We needed to use the restroom. Upon entry of the bathroom we found that none of the toilets were in working order well maybe two and they were they had fecal matter and this is not the first time several of the toilets were covered in fecal matter and clogged up could not be flushed down very unsanitary. So as we were talking about it to each other from star to star and employee was in there and had heard us talking and asked us to please speak to a manager. So we sought out the assistant manager who was the nearby his name was Victor as recommended by an employee who was in the restroom with us. And then she told us that people complain and they have complained but no nothing gets done about it so she asked us to please complain to the management. We did and the reaction response we got was absolutely unacceptable. Not only did he yell at my mom he accused us of being exaggerators. He then yelled at my mom and told her that if she wasn't satisfied with the bathroom condition that she could go down the street and shop at Michaels and use their restroom. That is not the point the point is the bathroom is disgusting and he completely took it out of proportion yelling at us and just so unprofessional I had to walk away I wanted to call the cops on him because he was in my mom's face and then we went to the management up in front and talk to her about it and then when about our business and got our picture but guaranteed we will never be back again read more

Every time I go to this location they have multiple customers walking around the store without face masks. Yes you can enforce the wearing of masks in your privately owned establishment. As a Nurse I know first hand what this disease does. And no I don't want to wear a mask all day either. So why is it that when I go to Hobby Lobby Temecula an enclosed air conditioned building you have customers and cashiers not wearing face mask? and No! a face shield with no face mask does not provide protection. Do you really want me to stroll up to your cash register without a mask and breathe my potential hospital Covid 19 germs on you? It would go under your fancy face shield and get you. But of course Covid 19 is a made up disease only afflicting the poor and oh let me see colored folks. I wear a mask to protect you, I don't shop in public when I have test pending. I have to agree about the customer service at this location, it truly is terrible. I went for the first time recently and I felt like I stepped into a Walmart. The decor is great, but all the items they sell are marked up well above retail price so they can advertise these great sales. Such a scam. Most of the quality of the items is crap as well. I will never shop here again. I had a return. Yes...it was over 90 days. I went through the trouble of calling the corporate office and they called the store and spoke to the store manager and he said I could get a store credit. I was busy working and couldn't go right away. When I did go and explained the situation and who I spoke with...they practically called me a liar. They said they never received a call or email so they wouldn't help me. So...Tuesday I have to call the corporate office again...so they can call Frank and Angie. This is a wonderful store and should not be skipped for 2 reasons: 1) It is large and offers a lot of crafts, hobby items, furniture, sewing, decor and all sorts of stuff. The aisles are large and the store is very clean. Every time I have been in there the workers have been friendly and very helpful. Plus, you can always find things on sale and special coupons on their website. 2) I applaud this company for standing behind their convictions! What people don't understand is that this is a private company and has the right to make their own decisions. It isn't the governments job to force private companies to give specific health coverage that goes against their moral convictions. If someone doesn't like the company's policies, then don't work there. read more

Hobby Lobby is like Michael's big brother. I love craft stores and when I'm at stores like this... oh man, time to spend at least an hour or two here. There were no electronic shopping carts, then again I'd probably knock everything over and have to pay a handsome amount... However there were wheelchairs so we were on our way. We entered and they just had to display the breakable items up front. We maneuvered carefully through them and now the real fun begins. I was on a mission to find origami paper for my current hobby and hodge podge glue. I told my bro to wheel me through each aisle and maybe find something cool. Along the way a couple of the staff members asked if we needed help finding something and I asked for the origami paper. Damn, expensive. The only thing that we didn't like was the smell of the place. Yes, they do have a have a wood section (boxes, frames, carvings) but the smell was fuming. For a store that prides it's self on their religious beliefs, they have no problem "fleecing the flock"! The store has rather low end quality merchandise at prices more expensive than Melrose and Beverly Hills. They wanted $50 for a "designer" teapot I found across the street for $14. I won't be visiting Hobby Lobby again, but will be saving my money shopping Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills apparently. Go figure?!?! Oh...and their check out system and customer service is horrible. When I asked a customer assistant on the floor where an item was, her response was, "We aren't trained on where everything is, but if you go to the back corner that would be where I would look." Seriously? If you are going to over charge for your product, then over deliver on your customer service experience. This was a total waste of my time. The checker had such difficulties with the register and scanning that I finally walked away leaving what little I was willing to buy. This is a lesson on how to LOSE a customer for life. read more

At first when my wife brought me here I went in kicking and screaming but after going in and seeing they have a section for guys with signs for your man cave I found myself loving this place. Metal signs everywhere from topics like cars, sports, guns, hunting, military yep no politically correct stuff here thank God I wish more company's were like this. I've always shopped here but thought I could save some money at the other store, I was in there less than 10 minutes before my child and myself were disrespected so we ran back over to Hobby Lobby!! Having lived in the midwest, I was familiar with Hobby Lobby. My overall impression of this store chain hasn't changed much. It's OK. If you like to get crafty, you will find a lot of stuff to spend some money on. They are closed on Sundays. They seem to have lines of products that aren't available at Michael's. They did have a few sets of the Martha Stewart craft paints, but I didn't see any other Martha stuff the day I visited. The aisles are wide. I have never experienced that annoying elbow-to-elbow thing that I often do at Michaels. Although when I went the other day some lady did get all up in my space as I was perusing jewelry findings, which was weird because there was lots of room. Maybe she forgot her glasses. Anyway, it's a very large store. If you don't already know where stuff is, be sure to wear your sneakers. The first thing you will notice is that they carry a lot of cheap thematic ornate home décor items. I mean A LOT. Things like the ubiquitous metal barn star that I thought I'd seen the last of since my escape from the midwest. Tchotchkes. Girly dust collectors. Pillows, small lamps. Wall hangings and decorative hooks. Fake plants. Frilly metal garden furniture, small scale painted wood furniture. Don't get me wrong, I have found some nice things like large mirrors that could pass for more expensive, higher quality products, vases, inexpensive photo frames. Just don't expect to find the quality or modernity of say, a Pier 1, or even Target. I didn't notice if this store carried bolts of fabric as I have noticed in the store I frequented in the midwest [Edit: they do], but they did have a lot of notions, trims and needle arts supplies. I'm not a sewer/knitter/embroiderer so I can't vouch for the quality, but it looked comparable to stuff you'd find at JoAnn. I was looking for jewelry findings that I haven't been able to find at my local Michaels and WalMarts and I found them (kidney ear wires in brass finish, hypoallergenic ear posts). Similar quality to Michaels stuff (base metals, glass beads, etc). Probably not much for the serious jewelry artist but plenty for the dabblers like me. They had a lot of those free project flyers in the jewelry section that had things I'd actually want to make so I grabbed several. They have a decent selection of inexpensive fine art painting supplies. They did have a good selection of Canson and Strathmore drawing papers, art boards (I was surprised they had 16 x 20 watercolor board) and watercolor papers. I didn't really note the prices. Everything was in good shape as the store is still new, but in the past (at my midwest store), I had noticed that those papers and boards were kept in better order and weren't as dinged up or dirty as you typically find at Michaels. And they seem to have a larger selection than what Aaron Brothers usually has in stock. The drawing pad/sketchbook selection was similar to Michaels. Maybe smaller. Of course, if you need higher quality brushes, canvas, or paper, you are better off shopping at Blick or Artists and Craftsman Supply. I am overlooking lots of other categories of crafts but I will say they have aisle after aisle. They carry lots of party supplies and decorations. I also noticed that someone is offering a watercolor class there on Saturday mornings. I'm about an hour away from this location so I only stopped by because I happened to be in town. I might go again just because my mom wants to check it out but we agreed that we'd need to have several items on the crafty list to justify it. read more

Went to find a deal on upholstery fabric. Found one and was given a cut of it to see if it matched my home decor. Checked the price and it was $12.99 a yard . I went back a week later , had them cut 8 yards. Then got to use the 40% coupon. When they rang it up, it was $32.99 a yard.I wouldn't have bought that expensive of fabric . She had already charged my credit card and I had to get to work. The manger on duty couldn't answer why the price had changed. The material mgr. was on a break and couldn't be reached. I left for work and called to speak to the material mgr.. She had left so I told the evening material mgr. SHE was NO help what so ever. She said it must have been from a different bolt. I told her NO The end had the piece cut from when I went the week before. She was rude. I told her if she checked all the bolts most of the fabric in that section was $12.99, and $14.99. I was VERY disappointed with how I was treated there and I will not be shopping there again. I have found better deals at Joann's and Michael's. read more

I agree this store has a tremendous selection of products, but I gave this store 2 stars because of their customer service. I had three items I needed to find and/or get information about. The customer service people lacked knowledge. When I checked out, the cashier had a MAJOR attitude! Oh, and I called in hours before my visit to check availability of an item. I wish I could say good things. I was excited to visit but that changed quickly. The store is organized weird. Some things are stacked over ten feet and aren't really accessible. The aisle aren't visually categorized or labeled which would have been super helpful. I wondered through the store for a while before I decided to ask a worker for help. I tried to flag two down but they completely ignored me after glancing in my general direction. One associate was extremely helpful, I forget her name, she tried her best to answer my question but didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. She pointed me in the general direction of what I wanted, which was helpful. I caught a sale so I was really happy about the prices but dubious of the quality because I didn't know the brand. I drive over 40 miles home before I finally open the packages. Dumb, I know. Well, the lead pointer is a waste of plastic- it eats lead like nobody's business. The drawing board looks used and has several cracks. Also, the parallel bar that came with it is really shoddy and hard to calibrate. I'm really disappointed now because if the store was closer the items would have been returned by now. I have to figure if the drive is worth returning the items. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. Someone at this store is stealing people's Card information. I made a purchase at this store on June 16. Since then I haven't used that card to make any purchases at any other store. Today I receive a call from my bank asking if I made a purchase outside the LA area. Of course I raised concern because I'm out of town this weekend, therefor I couldn't have made those purchases . I normally only use this card at Lowe's, Home Depot, and a few other trusted places because this card is my business account. I had tried to come here once and didn't realize it was not open Sunday so took the long 40 minute drive there only to be disappointed (thankfully there were plenty of other stores to amuse me). Finally about 2 weeks ago I managed to get to this store and have a good look around. WOW. Just Wow, there is so much there to see, so many crafty ideas and had I not been with my little one I would have easily spent the whole day in there. I love that they have idea cards and have picked up a ton of them for future products. I didn't even realize half the crafts existed. I was very impressed with the choice of fabrics and will go back. So why the 4 stars? Well, it's a long drive from San Diego even though I am in North County, why oh why Hobby Lobby don't you have a store nearer? Secondly I found it very difficult to navigate around the store for the items I wanted as there didn't appear to be any visible signs. I will go back when I know I need specific items for a craft but its too far for a quick browse without ideas. I had been in the area for other shops so it wasn't a wasted trip. read more

Although I am not one of those crafty people I really enjoy going into this place (with the wife). I feel like a kid in a candy store, so much to browse while the little lady is doing her specific thing (whatever the reason we came in for). They offer a lot of unique items, including in the craft specific areas. I have never had a problem with help, when needed, and have been approached several times asking if I needed help (maybe because I am a man and that is uncommon?). I almost get tempted to resume my hobbies as a kid: model building and puzzle making. Who knows, maybe one day I will once retirement age approaches! read more

Every time I walk into this store my wallet groans. I never know where to start. I love that everything is so nicely displayed and easy to find. So things can be a bit pricy. My complaint is that I always seam to forget that they are closed on Sunday. I get it and proud that they choose to do this. I myself have my business closed on Sunday. I was discriminated at the store today. I went in to buy an iron on and the lady told me she wasn't taking anyone else so I went to the next cashier. I've only done a few reviews and they've been on Google but I have to give my opinion on Hobby Lobby Temecula. My parents live close by the store so I'm in there from time to time. I want to say how patient and kind the staff have been there to all customers. I'm going to mention one cashier specifically, Paula. A very nice and friendly cashier. Ever since the coupon policy has changed they have encountered so many customers who are so upset about that. Hello everyone the whole store is on sale all the time. If it's not then come back the following week and I'm sure your item will be. Read the signs too! It's not that difficult to understand but customers are so rude and don't pay attention. I watched and listened to sweet Paula explain this to two customers and they were so rude to her. She continued to be polite and even asked a manager to explain it. Love the store because mostly everything is on sale, BUT when I went to the store on Saturday They had 50% of men's items. I had three items that I loved for a gift for someone. The lady at the counter said These are not on sale. Yet the signs are right in front of where I got them. I think some items need to be better adversed for discounts. Absolutely love this Hobby Lobby in Temecula! Everyone is SO helpful! Daisy and the manager were amazing! I came in last minute tonight to grab some things for my baby granddaughter's birthday. Daisy helped me get everything I needed in 5 minutes . The manager was also kind enough to help me although he looked like he was busy.
