Justin (the manager on duty yesterday) helped my son and I yesterday with our RC car. He was kind, helpful, and professional. The shop is neat and in the past they've given us the necessary information to do most of our repairs and upgrades on our own. I know we can get parts cheaper online, but to be able to go in and get knowledgeable eyes on the actual parts is a huge advantage of a brick and mortar shop. We will ne returning.

Great people and a very fun place for hobbies. Support them so the terrible Amazon doesn't make them go away.

Ask the Community - HobbyTown

Hey so you guys do not sell disc golf discs right?? Because if not, you should consider it lol. The largest and most popular disc manufacturer (Innova) has Hobby Town Temecula as an authorized dealer, so hey free advertisement lol

Actually Dylan, we DO sell Innova discs. They are located at the end of our first aisle, next to the kites. We typically try and keep 50+ discs on hand. Come by and take a look at our selection :-)

I always try to buy from the local store first before online because having a local hobby shop that can provide hands on assistance is extremely valuable to me.

5/5 - Exceptional Experience at Sanctum Temecula Card Shop!…read more Sanctum Temecula is hands down one of the best local card shops I've visited. The atmosphere is welcoming, organized, and perfect for both collectors and casual players. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, whether you're talking about Warhammer, Pokémon cards, or One Piece TCG. I had a great personal experience shopping here--Rob and Dan was friendly, patient, and willing to answer questions or share insights about upcoming sets and events. The Warhammer selection is top-notch, with plenty of paints, minis, and supplies. Their One Piece card inventory is well-stocked and fairly priced, with a genuine focus on building community rather than just making sales. They have a limit of pokemon cards and make that for the younger generations to have. Whether you're looking to expand your collection, play in a tournament, or just hang out with fellow fans, Sanctum Temecula offers a positive and professional environment that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves trading cards and tabletop gaming!

It used to feel like a chill hole in the wall full of cool people, now it feels very cold and depressing. The layout feels less intuitive to navigate, too but that's more of a nitpick. I used to play Digimon here between 2021 and 2023. They were generally fun and the players were mostly great, aside from the tourists who were only playing because they're mad at Magic and Pokemon, but that's not a conversation for a Yelp review about this store. My one complaint was how a lot of the employees were super elitist about it because it wasn't a popular "real" card game. Not even just saying that, an employee once straight up said I should "graduate to a real card game". I don't remember which employee it was, but the lack of self awareness of someone talking down to someone over TCGs astounds me. I remember two players having a ruling issue during a Digimon tourney and the same employee proctoring the games was very insulting and irritated the whole time, rolling his eyes, complaining and saying he didn't "understand this crap". It's bad enough that an employee does not know the rules of games they are proctoring at a game shop that's hosting the tournaments, but to have such a crappy demeanor? I know geeks are socially challenged, I'm not an exception to this but ffs try, it's your job man. Absolutely not something that makes you wanna come back. I briefly switched to SoCal Games and Comics (now Sanctum) after that, but my issue with that shop was the playerbase, not the employees. I've had some employees not know what they're doing regarding bonus packs that come with booster boxes before, and at least twice have had ones not given to me despite me visibly seeing them in stock. If you work at a game store you should know what releases come with what. That said, there was one employee who was excellent about it and props to him. That guy played Digimon, though, so that's likely why he knew what he was doing. Anyway, I still shop here from time to time but I don't really have a reason to come back now that they've stopped hosting Digimon tournaments in lieu of One Piece (Bandai treats the properties similarly!), which is fine considering the poor judging/proctoring. One Piece probably comes off more like a 'real' card game so best of luck and all. That event really left a bad taste in my mouth about this place, unfortunately. I will say the prices are good, they don't inflate them like other card shops do.

Good space to play games and host events! The staff was friendly and willing to help in trying to…read morelocate specific games in their library that were for sale. Though there are other shops in the area that are closer to where I live, I never hesitate to go out of my way to come here. The people there are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. Through their various events, they've also created a community of collectors that I'm happy to be a part of. The other card shops in the area don't seem to engage with the community on the same level as Honey Hole. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of products and singles is always rich and dynamic. For better or for worse, I never fail to find something new I want to pick up. I also appreciate the fact that they have a partnership with a pre-grading/card cleaning company, Market2Mint. For someone that was new to grading cards, the ease of dropping cards off at the shop to be pre-graded really helped me get my collection to the next level. Special shoutout to Matt who leads the team there. My wife and I always enjoy spending extra time hanging out and talking to him and the team about the latest and greatest. The other two locations in Southern California (Escondido & San Diego) are also great and are definitely worth checking out. Definitely don't miss this place if you're deep in the hobby or just starting out.
