The finished product. Sorry for the glare!
Amy C.

I came here on a Friday to have 2 photos custom framed for a friend's retirement. Cassie, the associate, came out and was very friendly and engaging. She was so helpful with ideas and gave me different pricing for some of the options. I finally settled on one and was told it would be ready Tuesday night, which was perfect because the retirement luncheon was slated for Wednesday. Their pricing was extremely reasonable after visiting different places for estimates, which ranged from $450 to $1,500! I was totally gobsmacked! Imagine my surprise when I received a phone call the next morning and was told it was ready for pick up! This time it was Brian, who helped me. I was beyond pleased at how nice it turned out! Cassie was spot on recommending the blue suede mat; it added to the richness of the overall frame job. I believe that Brian did the framing and matting and did an exceptional job! And, so quickly! I can check this off my to do list. I am so happy I made the decision to stop by! This is definitely my new go to place for custom framing needs! BTW, this store is bright and clean. All the staff I encountered greeted me with a smile.

Fun FREE project...
 THANK YOU, Michael's!

I love this store, and recently discovered their free Sunday art "classes"...I attended a "Fall Leaves" event which was no frills, no instruction...but all the materials were provided, and it was just a fun time! It really felt like a creative mini-getaway...just a good excuse to get out of the house. They really have a ton of supplies and some books just perfect for a beginner watercolor painter, so I actually visit there all the time. So grateful for this place!

We came into Michael's looking for Lori Anne's candy products. They did not have a huge selection but they had more than most. I wish they would make a "sour apple" flavor. I like the way this particular store is set up. We were in and out almost with a quickness until we got to the line. We waited about five minutes longer than I wanted to however their marketing ploy worked because they had a BOGO candles and they smelled lovely lol. I picked two. The cashier assisted me with the Michael's App finding the coupons, but the signal level was terrible. I was lucky to have a sweetheart cashier because she scanned the discount in for me. I will be coming back here again.

Tess did an amazing job framing this embroidery

Had a couple of things framed here by Tess and her work is amazing. She's been framing for over 20 years and knows what she's doing. I had a difficult, large embroidery piece that needed special skill to even it out and flatten areas of the fabric. Not a fan of Michaels incredibly inflated framing prices but Tess did a perfect job.

Everything is well organized, clean, aisles are labeled based on different categories of arts and crafts, etc. In store discounts for items range from 20% to 40%. On Special holidays they offer 50%. Michael's supports teachers, which is awesome. They save 15%. Love that they offer classes in store for kids/adults some are free, while others you pay for the supplies needed. Registers are in the front of the store, lines are reasonable, waiting goes by rather quickly.

Very busy area. The store was ok, but didn't find everything I needed, plus a bit pricey compared to Hobby Lobby.

One, count 'em, one checkout person during a busy time. I don't know what they are thinking! Plenty of workers in the store.

I was about $2 short and a very kind guy paid for my primer and contrast paint. This made my day as I was having a bad day before at school. 10/10 would recommend this place to any table top gamer, comic book enthusiast, or card gamer.

5/5 - Exceptional Experience at Sanctum Temecula Card Shop!…read more Sanctum Temecula is hands down one of the best local card shops I've visited. The atmosphere is welcoming, organized, and perfect for both collectors and casual players. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, whether you're talking about Warhammer, Pokémon cards, or One Piece TCG. I had a great personal experience shopping here--Rob and Dan was friendly, patient, and willing to answer questions or share insights about upcoming sets and events. The Warhammer selection is top-notch, with plenty of paints, minis, and supplies. Their One Piece card inventory is well-stocked and fairly priced, with a genuine focus on building community rather than just making sales. They have a limit of pokemon cards and make that for the younger generations to have. Whether you're looking to expand your collection, play in a tournament, or just hang out with fellow fans, Sanctum Temecula offers a positive and professional environment that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves trading cards and tabletop gaming!

It used to feel like a chill hole in the wall full of cool people, now it feels very cold and depressing. The layout feels less intuitive to navigate, too but that's more of a nitpick. I used to play Digimon here between 2021 and 2023. They were generally fun and the players were mostly great, aside from the tourists who were only playing because they're mad at Magic and Pokemon, but that's not a conversation for a Yelp review about this store. My one complaint was how a lot of the employees were super elitist about it because it wasn't a popular "real" card game. Not even just saying that, an employee once straight up said I should "graduate to a real card game". I don't remember which employee it was, but the lack of self awareness of someone talking down to someone over TCGs astounds me. I remember two players having a ruling issue during a Digimon tourney and the same employee proctoring the games was very insulting and irritated the whole time, rolling his eyes, complaining and saying he didn't "understand this crap". It's bad enough that an employee does not know the rules of games they are proctoring at a game shop that's hosting the tournaments, but to have such a crappy demeanor? I know geeks are socially challenged, I'm not an exception to this but ffs try, it's your job man. Absolutely not something that makes you wanna come back. I briefly switched to SoCal Games and Comics (now Sanctum) after that, but my issue with that shop was the playerbase, not the employees. I've had some employees not know what they're doing regarding bonus packs that come with booster boxes before, and at least twice have had ones not given to me despite me visibly seeing them in stock. If you work at a game store you should know what releases come with what. That said, there was one employee who was excellent about it and props to him. That guy played Digimon, though, so that's likely why he knew what he was doing. Anyway, I still shop here from time to time but I don't really have a reason to come back now that they've stopped hosting Digimon tournaments in lieu of One Piece (Bandai treats the properties similarly!), which is fine considering the poor judging/proctoring. One Piece probably comes off more like a 'real' card game so best of luck and all. That event really left a bad taste in my mouth about this place, unfortunately. I will say the prices are good, they don't inflate them like other card shops do.

Though there are other shops in the area that are closer to where I live, I never hesitate to go out of my way to come here. The people there are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. Through their various events, they've also created a community of collectors that I'm happy to be a part of. The other card shops in the area don't seem to engage with the community on the same level as Honey Hole. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of products and singles is always rich and dynamic. For better or for worse, I never fail to find something new I want to pick up. I also appreciate the fact that they have a partnership with a pre-grading/card cleaning company, Market2Mint. For someone that was new to grading cards, the ease of dropping cards off at the shop to be pre-graded really helped me get my collection to the next level. Special shoutout to Matt who leads the team there. My wife and I always enjoy spending extra time hanging out and talking to him and the team about the latest and greatest. The other two locations in Southern California (Escondido & San Diego) are also great and are definitely worth checking out. Definitely don't miss this place if you're deep in the hobby or just starting out.
