So outrageous! Anyways, I love this Michaels bc they have great deals on candles and their online ordering and pick up is so easy. Your order is in a cubby separated by name in alphabetical order. Michaels can sometimes have really good deals and when my children were young I can always depend on them for having whatever I need for their projects. This Michaels is fairly organized and clean. I love coming here to walk around and be inspired. I think it's a well designed floor and I love going through their seasonal clearance items. They still have Christmas stuff for 70% off and I saw Valentine's Day stuff for 60% off. It's usually a wide variety when I check for vinyl crafting and also baking stuff. Came by for some additional holiday ornaments and ribbon and seemed to be nicely stocked but th check out process seemed to be a bit inefficient. Wasn't that crowded but the Check out's were still slow and hard to get thru once you were done due to narrow checking aisle. We don't come here that often so it gets job done. read more

The good: They still have a huge selection of Christmas stuff on sale. I got a wreath and wreath hanger. They had lots of cute ribbons for sale for around $3-4 per roll. Their Valentine's Day crafts were also great. The bad: I have a hard time believing that some of the wreaths are $99 and are now 70% off. I feel like everything is always on sale so you're falsely excited to get a "deal" when the deal price seems fair as a regular full price. The interesting: They have more self-serve kiosks now. The post holiday sales are a must here! I was able to get a number of quality Christmas items at 70% off. We will be set for Christmas 2025! Whenever we come in, the store is well kept and the staff helps direct us around the store. Sandra was especially helpful today in letting us inspect a clearance item. I came here on a Friday to have 2 photos custom framed for a friend's retirement. Cassie, the associate, came out and was very friendly and engaging. She was so helpful with ideas and gave me different pricing for some of the options. I finally settled on one and was told it would be ready Tuesday night, which was perfect because the retirement luncheon was slated for Wednesday. Their pricing was extremely reasonable after visiting different places for estimates, which ranged from $450 to $1,500! I was totally gobsmacked! Imagine my surprise when I received a phone call the next morning and was told it was ready for pick up! This time it was Brian, who helped me. I was beyond pleased at how nice it turned out! Cassie was spot on recommending the blue suede mat; it added to the richness of the overall frame job. I believe that Brian did the framing and matting and did an exceptional job! And, so quickly! I can check this off my to do list. I am so happy I made the decision to stop by! This is definitely my new go to place for custom framing needs! BTW, this store is bright and clean. Very busy area. The store was ok, but didn't find everything I needed, plus a bit pricey compared to Hobby Lobby.

This store has gone absolutely downhill since I had started coming here. I came in one day to look at the new decor, and when I came in there were boxes of product all over the floor, the store was a complete mess, I could barely walk through the decor aisles without finding opened boxes of product in the way. I tried not to get into the workers way, because they seemed stressed. At one point I had asked them where the store manager was, and one of the workers told me that she had called out again? Again? What kind of store has a store manager that has called out repeatedly? If I was her boss, I would be ashamed of myself for not knowing what's happening at this location. It used to be so organized and the previous store manager it seemed was always there and they always knew where he was, and nobody looked as stressed as these workers were! I don't know what has happened to this store, but I will not be coming back. And upper management should really take a look at the state that it is in, and maybe start caring about how it represents them, because right now it is not a good look. read more

I love this store, and recently discovered their free Sunday art "classes"...I attended a "Fall Leaves" event which was no frills, no instruction...but all the materials were provided, and it was just a fun time! It really felt like a creative mini-getaway...just a good excuse to get out of the house. I don't go to Michael's very often, but when I do, it's usually a pleasant experience. Today I had a pick up order that I needed, picking up, going to the checkout line and needing assistance as I have never done a pickup order inside as I've only done curbside for a pickup usually. The employee at the counter near the self checkout registers pointed out the pick up area could not find my order so she went to the back to take a look for my purchase. She found immediately and was helpful with assisting with this order. Every time I go in here, if I need questions, employees are pretty helpful. read more

It's a fine Michael's and they have the items you'd expect to find but the store smells like pee and the bathrooms are locked and you cannot find anyone near the restrooms to allow customers in. Once you realize this you understand the smell throughout the place. It seems like a bigger problem if people are peeing on the floor throughout the store. We came into Michael's looking for Lori Anne's candy products. They did not have a huge selection but they had more than most. I wish they would make a "sour apple" flavor. I like the way this particular store is set up. We were in and out almost with a quickness until we got to the line. We waited about five minutes longer than I wanted to however their marketing ploy worked because they had a BOGO candles and they smelled lovely lol. I picked two. The cashier assisted me with the Michael's App finding the coupons, but the signal level was terrible. I was lucky to have a sweetheart cashier because she scanned the discount in for me. Everything is well organized, clean, aisles are labeled based on different categories of arts and crafts, etc. In store discounts for items range from 20% to 40%. On Special holidays they offer 50%. Michael's supports teachers, which is awesome. They save 15%. Love that they offer classes in store for kids/adults some are free, while others you pay for the supplies needed. Registers are in the front of the store, lines are reasonable, waiting goes by rather quickly. read more

The store itself is short staffed and not dirty, but a bit run down. Staff overall is nice enough, doing there best, but the reason I give this a 5 Star is because of Allison. I went to the kids club on Saturday- figured it would be an easy and fun way to distract the kids and get Mother's Day cards done. It was not that easy. My 4 year old was having a particularly hard time, she did not want to participate, could not articulate what she needed or wanted and I was becoming increasingly frustrated. Allison stepped in and patiently spoke with my daughter, gave her different options, was gentle and caring. She made the event a success and I am thankful that she showed such patience and care. Not my favorite location but not the worst. In the front they usually have a good amount of sale items you may find useful. Like any craft store this place is sleepy. Slow service and lines that move like syrup no matter the time of day or number of cashiers. This is true for most places like this I've been to. FYI, I suggest that you download the Michaels app. You can text APP1 to 273283 to get it. The app has coupons on it that are easy to use and will usually save you 40% on a regular priced item. read more

I came in here looking to buy stuff for a Halloween wreath. I needed orange tulle ribbon and they didn't have much of a selection. I found orange with the help of a worker because it was not anywhere where it was supposed to be. It was priced 3x more than other tulle ribbon. Maybe because it was October and they hiked the price up? I decided to go for black so I didn't have to pay the outrageous price but they didn't even have plain black. So I bought all the stuff I needed and decided to look at the next hobby shop for the ribbon. When I got there pretty much everything I had bought at Michaels was significantly cheaper. I re-bought it all! And returned everything to Michaels. The thing I hate about this Michaels is that there is always a long, long line. I went in twice to return my stuff because the line was so long. I guess I don't understand why this place can't get more help if they are busy all the time! Pros: The floor manager (a guy with longish hair) is totally awesome. The stupid shenanegan line of having to be cattle hearded into this stupid shelving made for a difficult time. I am disabled and dropped a lot of my embroidery thread. The manager not only gave me the price that the thread was from the bin it came from (57 cents versus three dollars a piece) AND he even walked back through the store to get the pieces I dropped, it was actually very sweet and made me feel like there is hope in the world. Cons: I've been overcharged and my coupons have not been applied many times at this Michaels, which is annoying, because I am charged double for things and then I cannot prove it later, so MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS and watch them scan the items. Be vigilant in paying attention at the counter. Michaels probably banks bigtime on 'double scans' especially on bigtime items like large canvases.... read more

First of all, someone named Belinda made my experience so that I will not be returning to this location. Incompetent does not even begin to describe this woman. Unpleasant and pushy both with myself and her employees. She was so inappropriately condescending to a fellow coworker, I felt incredibly uncomfortable standing there and witnessing it. She told a helpful young girl who was only trying to do her job to "calm down." I have worked as a manager in various service oriented industries and I would not trust this woman to interact with any customer. But what really doesn't sit well with me, is the fact that she finds it okay to address a peer in the way that she did, especially in front of a customer. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. While shopping my 6 year old had to use the restroom. I reluctantly walked her to the women's restroom. When we opened the door we were shocked. This bathroom was so disgustingly filthy. We both gaged. She had to go so bad that I put down 4 paper covers and held her nose. Michaels, you should be ashamed. Your bathroom was disgusting, nasty, filthy and unhygienic to say the least. No one should have to go to the restroom in a horrible setting as such. If I could give zero stars I would. Bought face paint a few days ago...$27.99 for a 21pc set. Red tag over the sticker on the shelf for a 21pc set $13.99. BTW only one 21pc set out of all the sets they have.. and only one set priced at $27.99 Should have paid attention at the register...Ken asked what I spent so much on...they rang it for $27.99 Went back today to get refund...manager went back with me...not that item on sale..apparently they have none in stock.. told her the sale tag over the other one is very deceiving and since they have no product maybe she should take the sale tag off the shelf...of course not!!
