I came in here when I first started out collecting and the Jesse and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. We now visit once or twice a month. They have the best selection of Japanese Cards in the valley and their prices are usually the best around. If there is a question or something specific you are looking for they can usually get it and as well they host a ton of the games and tournaments. If you're looking to get into the playing or collection portion of any of the games, stop by and check them out! Parking can be a little tough in front of the store but plenty of parking in the area. Keep in mind they are not normal store hours because they follow the hobbies hours, so later morning and longer night hours.

5/5 - Exceptional Experience at Sanctum Temecula Card Shop!…read more Sanctum Temecula is hands down one of the best local card shops I've visited. The atmosphere is welcoming, organized, and perfect for both collectors and casual players. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, whether you're talking about Warhammer, Pokémon cards, or One Piece TCG. I had a great personal experience shopping here--Rob and Dan was friendly, patient, and willing to answer questions or share insights about upcoming sets and events. The Warhammer selection is top-notch, with plenty of paints, minis, and supplies. Their One Piece card inventory is well-stocked and fairly priced, with a genuine focus on building community rather than just making sales. They have a limit of pokemon cards and make that for the younger generations to have. Whether you're looking to expand your collection, play in a tournament, or just hang out with fellow fans, Sanctum Temecula offers a positive and professional environment that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves trading cards and tabletop gaming!

All the employees who helped me on my quest for card boxes were great and friendly. They seem fairly priced. AND get this, they gave me recommendations on where I could find my boxes at other stores. The vibe here is awesome -- super welcoming, creative, and community-oriented. They have a café area, a retail section with goods from local artists, and even private tables and rooms people can rent out. When we were there, a few groups were playing board games (which are free to play, by the way, and they have a really extensive selection), and we even noticed a kids' class happening in the back. It felt like such a lively and inclusive space where everyone could just hang out and be themselves. We tried their espresso -- it's really good. Highly recommend "The One Up" and the "Lady Lavender" -- both strong, not too sweet, and super smooth. The menu had plenty of great food options too, and everything we tried was solid. We ended up chatting with some folks from a local writing group and just felt totally at home. Overall, it's such a gem for Temecula -- a perfect mix of café, creative hub, and community space. We're definitely planning to become regulars and keep supporting local third-space spots like this!

Attached to a game shop, The Hungry Dragon is every game lover's dream! We ordered the pork belly fries and Philly sliders, along with the poison apple to whet our palettes. The Philly sliders were delicious, threw me off they didnt have actual peppers and did have a little bit of a kick, but they were delicious and filling. The pork belly fries were my personal favorite. The pork belly was tender and the sauces blended well with the potatoes, cheese and pork belly. The poison apple was not overly sweet, it was well balanced and the apple flavor really was the star, The game shop had adequate spacing for tables and merchandise. They had a lot of items available for all kinds of gaming: tabletop, TCG and board games. Definitely a spot you will want to check out if looking for the perfect game for yourself or a gift! Staff is very friendly and super helpful! If only I didn't live so far away, I'd probably become a regular here!

Though there are other shops in the area that are closer to where I live, I never hesitate to go out of my way to come here. The people there are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. Through their various events, they've also created a community of collectors that I'm happy to be a part of. The other card shops in the area don't seem to engage with the community on the same level as Honey Hole. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of products and singles is always rich and dynamic. For better or for worse, I never fail to find something new I want to pick up. I also appreciate the fact that they have a partnership with a pre-grading/card cleaning company, Market2Mint. For someone that was new to grading cards, the ease of dropping cards off at the shop to be pre-graded really helped me get my collection to the next level. Special shoutout to Matt who leads the team there. My wife and I always enjoy spending extra time hanging out and talking to him and the team about the latest and greatest. The other two locations in Southern California (Escondido & San Diego) are also great and are definitely worth checking out. Definitely don't miss this place if you're deep in the hobby or just starting out.
