I started collecting cards a little over a year ago and the team at Honey Hole was integral in how I learned about the hobby. Though there are other shops in the area that are closer to where I live, I never hesitate to go out of my way to come here. The people there are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and engaging. Through their various events, they've also created a community of collectors that I'm happy to be a part of. The other card shops in the area don't seem to engage with the community on the same level as Honey Hole. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of products and singles is always rich and dynamic. For better or for worse, I never fail to find something new I want to pick up. I also appreciate the fact that they have a partnership with a pre-grading/card cleaning company, Market2Mint. For someone that was new to grading cards, the ease of dropping cards off at the shop to be pre-graded really helped me get my collection to the next level. Special shoutout to Matt who leads the team there. My wife and I always enjoy spending extra time hanging out and talking to him and the team about the latest and greatest. The other two locations in Southern California (Escondido & San Diego) are also great and are definitely worth checking out. Scary!!! Reading some of the other reviews and I had to agree! This place is the hell of card shops, each of their staff is more rude than the next. The place seems to hate its customers, they are condescending and try to rip you off whenever they can. I get that prices have to be higher than online but they go to far. It is a rip off!! Than you combine that with a staff of used car salesmen you really have the ingredients for a toxic environment. The selection is just basic stuff never anythitn interesting or unique. Honey Hole is a chain of three Sports Card stores located here in the IE and North County. They have a huge selection of MLB Baseball, NBA Basketball and NFL Football Cards, both in Upperdeck, Topps , et cetera brands, as well as individual collectibles cards. I found Nick here, to be the most helpful and clearly knew the business and the ins and out, of what to buy and what to avoid. Pricey can be full, but they do have some deals on cards. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience due to the poor customer service I received. From the moment I asked for assistance, the staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in helping. Simple questions were met with attitude, and it felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. There was a clear lack of communication, respect, and basic courtesy. Customer service is supposed to represent the business, but in this case, it did the exact opposite. Instead of resolving the issue, the interaction only made things more frustrating. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on how customers are treated. Businesses should understand that one negative experience like this can easily drive customers away for good. read more

My experience was not good at all. It seems as if they are very overpriced and wanted to pretty much take my card and give me no money for it and the guys that were there were not only rude, but not helpful at all. They were just standing around as if they were annoyed that they had someone inside the store. I'm not even sure why they claimed that they purchased cards because in all reality that's not purchasing that's like trying to steal your card for free. I thought they would be fair but for a card that you shouldn't be getting at least $400 they will offer you $35. It's a joke and I'm never coming back.! read more

Honeyhole in Temecula is my favorite place to do business in the sports card hobby. For reference, I do about 150k a year in buying and sell anywhere from 80-150k in selling cards. With that being said, I do the majority of my buying from honeyhole. Matt and Max are two of the most knowledgeable and friendly people in the hobby. A lot of interactions with others are very impersonal and some can be downright rude and condescending. These two are the opposite, very friendly, helpful, informative and personal. They remember regulars and treat us with respect and even inform us of some nuances that we may not know due to their closeness to the hobby and time spent in the hobby. The store is always clean and very welcoming. In the hot summer it's always a nice cool spot to stop in. There is a huge variety of cards, including singles, graded, and even Pokémon. They also have some memorabilia. Tip: Bring cash for your purchase for a possible break on sales tax. The prices are usually (95% of the time) the lowest I can find. As far as wax goes I've never found anyone who beats them, both online and in store. They really do great at beating the competitions prices. Not sure how they do it as sometimes they're upwards of 25% lower than competitors. Keep it up guys great work! I drove here for a WWE select hobby box and while I was there I picked up a booster box of Surging sparks. The price was too good to pass up so I grabbed the second box on the shelf because I was the second born. My gf wanted to open it together on date night and sure enough we pulled the pikachu Special Illustration Rare. I'm tempted to open my wwe select box because the surging sparks box was soo good to me. I recommend this place for packs. I believe I got something first off the line and I much rather pick my own box than have some random box sent to me after they pull the chase. This is one of our favorite card shops. They tend to have Pokémon products in stock early, which is great for collectors. While some items are priced above retail, the selection and availability often make up for it. This is a nice shop to browse around at. I have gone a few times with my son to sell some graded/ autographed cards. On separate occasions we were offered between 20-30 for one card, which I thought was fair but politely declined. Today, I wanted to sell 10 cards total which included PSA 9-10 grades on numbered cards and a couple autographs and patches. For everything I was extremely lowballed and offered $35 for 10 cards. ($3.50/ per card) This business operates on overcharging people for their inventory and ripping people off. Never would I have thought that greed is what operates business. I hope people reading this can take my post into consideration before trying to do business with Honey Hole. Legends and Legacies & Rizo Sports are much better for friendly negotiations in the Temecula/ Murrieta area read more

My family had a ball looking around, however, I could not even be in the building since they were burning some sort of strong incense that really affected my breathing.
