Absolutely the worst target location. They have Christmas items clearly marked 30% off. The one tree topper is priced at $28 and they charged me full price for every single item. The manager, who has no business even being a manager, was arguing with me in front of other customers. Instead of going in the back to verify their marked sale items. I immediately returned the items and I will not going back to this location. What an absolute joke! Whatever happened to the customer always being right. Well I am right. See attached pictures. I ordered a bike for 2 hour pick up yesterday. Came this morning after I received a "your target order is ready for pick up." I drove from menifee to Murrieta to pick the bike up this am and they tell me the bike has not been built, come back tomorrow! Then when I turned around to leave the smart ass at pick up said "should I just cancel the order?" Not good service what so ever. If I wanted to cancel the order I would have asked to cancel my order. Not sure why it says to come pick up the order when the order hasn't even been built?? read more

Never had an issue w this location but it's a trip to see how many kids get stopped by the UCs. Target does a great job w loss prevention bc they have UCs posing as shoppers so this is good... but still doesn't hinder the shoplifting, smh. I do agree that a lot of the workers at this location look like they hate their jobs. Everyone looks so miserable, not even a greeting or a smile at the check stand... but ok, maybe people are just having a bad day. They've got a lot of cute style tops that we prefer over Walmart. I also think some of their items are better quality than Walmart. I do love the rewards system... that's cool bc often times I unexpectedly get asked if I wanna use my $10 reward which is cool. Did a pick up order for the wrong location and waited over 15 minutes for our small order. I wouldn't have minded the wait except as we sat there, multiple cars all around us were coming and going with their orders, cars pulled up after us were getting their orders first. I'm wondering if there's even a rhyme or reason to the order of arrival or is it just random? They need to have a better system to track the order of checkin. read more

This lady out here following me as if I'm going to steal something. She's not even putting merchandise away. Just acting. Then an undercover security guard follows me to the checkout and acts like I didn't see him follow me with my kids. This security guy walks to the aisle I'm in, doesn't even look at the toys, and after I loudly tell my kids let's go checkout, he follows me to checkout and acts like he's going to the bathroom. On February 26, I purchased a tank top using my 5% birthday discount. The following day, February 27, I returned to the store to exchange the item for a smaller size. I had the original receipt and the tags were still attached. Despite meeting the requirements for an exchange, I was informed that the item could not be exchanged. That i had to return the item and repurchase it causing me to lose my discount..the difference equated to a dollar and some change. They made it such a huge deal. She wanted conflict. So rude. I said wouldn't it just be better to return the item without a receipt get full store price and repurchase it that way. Like make it make sense?! I requested clarification and asked to speak with a manager. The manager I spoke with refused to provide her name, though I believe it may have been Christina. The situation was handled in a way that felt dismissive and unprofessional. She told me i couldnt record, but thats not true. This incident caused a significant delay for me, as I was traveling to Arizona that same day. What should have been a simple exchange turned into an unnecessarily stressful experience. After the interaction, I remained in the store to purchase last-minute travel items, and I felt extremely uncomfortable, as it seemed employees were watching and speaking about me. The atmosphere felt hostile and embarrassing. I am not seeking conflict, but I do expect fair treatment and professionalism. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed, clarification on the exchange policy in this situation, and appropriate follow-up regarding how this was handled. read more

Hello, I purchased an item online and received an email stating it was cancelled. I called several times regarding the cancellation. First time I was told it was a mistake by target with putting the wrong price online. The second time I called I was told if the price was marked wrong in the store they would honor that, but because it was online they could not help me. Lastly I was told the following about products online: To clarify, it is sold by one of our Target Plus™ partners, companies that use our website to sell their items. Target Plus™ items are identified with the label "Sold and Shipped by (Partner Name)" and Target logo with a black + sign to indicate that they are different and are shipped separately. Target does not own or ship those items. A small number of items on the site may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable. Target may experience lags in uploading updates throughout the site and in advertising on other sites. Target can't and doesn't guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information. Basically Target is not upholding information displayed online. They would honor a price discrepancy if it was in the store but not online. **Drive-Up experience on 12.11.2022** I seldom have a bad experience at Target, but today probably took the cake. =/ Normally this location off the Cal Oaks exit is on top of it, but they fell short on this visit. My order was ready at 11:37am, as the email shows. I let them know I was omw through the app. I parked at a designated spot about 15 minutes before noon. Once I got there, I accidentally typed in that I was at spot #10, when I was parked at #1. Realizing this within about a minute, I drove to the next lane over to park at the correct spot. I looked around and there weren't any employees delivering orders. At this time there were maybe 4 other cars waiting, too. It's raining, it's the holidays, I get they are probably slammed. It's when cars started parking around me and getting their orders and leaving that I began to lose patience. Granted, I was omw home after this pick up but I waited almost AN HOUR to get 2 little things (accessories for my phone)! Somewhere around 1:26 I attempted to call them but there was a "technical error" per the recording, so I hung up. I tried again a few minutes later and someone actually picked up. I tried as nicely as I could to explain that I had been waiting for 40 minutes at spot #10. I said I had watched other cars arrive after me and leave with their stuff already. He put me on hold to see what was going on, and came back about 2 minutes later apologized, and said someone was coming right out to me. Okay. Soon after, an employee came to my window and finally gave me what I ordered. Before she was done, a second employee walked up to her and handed her a gift card for me. I was perturbed to say the least, but I understand they can get backed up. It was a nice gesture of them to rectify the situation, and I appreciate the gc, but I lost time that I can't get back. Idk how they prioritize delivering orders, but it didn't look good from where I was sitting. Everyone I saw getting their stuff had big items, so idk how mine slipped the cracks. In any case, I finally drove off with my stuff at 1:37pm and no one had to get nasty which is good. Just have extreme patience if you're planning on driving up or just go inside! Initially I was going to give 1 or 2 stars, but the gc was today's saving grace. TY to the guy who answered the phone and made it right. Be safe and keep your cool! read more

11/18/21 Target is, by far, the best retail store for ordering online and picking up. They have numbered parking slots, that help get your merchandise in an orderly fashion. If you're not using their app and taking advantage of drive up pickup, you're missing out. This store hasn't received a review from me in 6 years. I thought I'd update as I shop here at least 4 times a month. I don't usually go inside, due to COVID, but I did tonight. I noticed that some employees no longer wear a mask. That was concerning. Kevin the manager, is a real know-it-all. He did not allow my return and then said that my item usually has a manufacturer's warranty and to do that, without knowing for sure if it does. Which is doesn't by the way. My item did not even last 1 month, and I was dissatisfied with it, but that doesn't matter. I don't know how people get hired for managerial jobs when they clearly have terrible customer service skills and clearly no people skills. If you want a hassle returning and want to be told lies to just make you go away, then go here and speak to Kevin "the manager". I suggest he takes a class on interpersonal skills and customer service. read more

Came in to check out a rug. I've seen online and asked if I could open up the packaging they said no and the girl refused to get a manager for me. I went to the front and talk to a manager and I told the manager what had happened and she apologized but my Experience was ruined and I will not be purchasing anything further from the store. Target may not set the bar for best prices around, but they do set the bar for how a department store/grocery store should be set up and ran. This isn't a super Target, but they do have some grocery staples. There is a good chance they will get you out of a pinch if you're missing that last ingredient you need to make that dish you're working on. What Target does excel at, and this location sets the bar for, is overall appearance. They actually seem to take great pride in presentation of their products and it shows in how the store is kept. Neatness and organization are always top notch. Customer service takes a back seat to no other company ..... they take care of the customers that shop here. It can get a little busy at times, but never as chaotic as Walmart (except maybe Black Friday). It's just has a little more laid back feel about shopping here that I like. You can get in and out as quickly as you want by speed shopping or you can take your time and check everything out. This location is really a step above most, highly recommend shopping at this Target. read more

Terrible Target. My 15 year old daughter went there today to spend birthday money and get Starbucks with her friends and the worker tried to kick her group out as they are waiting on their drinks?! Told them to leave and wait outside after they got thier drinks for their friend group to get theirs?! Told them they couldn't use a cart unless they were buying things, which they were there to do. I get the Mesa Highschool is right behind it and they likely have hooligans but my daughter and her gf's were so off put. The security followed them around too?! This is the best Target, even while under construction. Sure, I might be biased. Decades ago, when the Cal Oaks Target was first opening, there was an employee and friends preview event. My family and I were there as doors opened. I rushed in, grabbed some gum, and made my purchase. That's right, I made the first-ever purchase at the Cal Oaks Target. Still have the receipt somewhere. Will pass it down to my children alongside the collection of NBA Teeny Mates, which were also primarily found at and purchased from Cal Oaks Target. I'm sure every employee at every job has a bad day here and there. Cal Oaks Target though? You'd never know. This is my comfort store, and they don't even mind when I come to just walk around and check for clearance deals while getting some air conditioned exercise. So, yes, this is my favorite store AND gym. Will be back soon, often, always. read more

This is my "home" Target since it's closer to us than the Super Target by the 215. This location is just okay. It's older and well kept, but it just feels smaller than other non-Super locations. Recently, this location has gone through some major remodeling. I'm assuming a lot of other locations have, too. Walking in feels like you're walking into a mall. This one even has a Starbucks in it now, which kinda sucks because I, for one, actually like the popcorn and Pizzahut etc. (Super Target has it, though)! The entire feel of this location has become more upscale than it was before. The employees here are nice and helpful, I've never had issues with them and have never had a question unanswered. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for. The place is generally organized, but sometimes messy. It's common to find items in the wrong place so I end up searching for the right price. Sometimes things just haven't had a chance to be put back or put away. Like I mentioned, this is my "home" Target. I don't really care to go to the Super Target nearby unless I so happen to be closer to that one or need a few groceries and can kill two birds with one stone there. read more

Worst customer service on the planet. They have no carts. People were grabbing the return carts they use because they were sitting empty. Literally 4 people in front of me grab the carts. So I grab one and continue to shop when the manager comes up tells me I can't have the cart because of a liability issue. Proceeds to take the cart with my stuff in it with no solution. The dollar bins is where its at. Thats one of my favorite things about Target are the dollar bins that are usually placed towards the entrace of the store. You can find all kinds of stuff in them from candy to stationery, to toys. They usually change to coordinate with the seasons too. Pharmacy I get my prescription filled here. There can be a small line from time to time but for the most part its fairly quick. I love that they do reminders via a call or text letting you know your prescription was filled and ready to pick up. This particular location is great because its right next to the movie theater. We usually get all our snacks here first becore catching a movie. My only gripe is that I wish prices were more competitive with Walmart. read more

Is this store open? I have called and called to try and reach customer service desk to do a stock check- no one answering. For 45 minutes. So I tried apparel. And any other dept in the store. It rings off the hook in any department I try and reach. A shame that I have to travel 15 miles one way to go to the store when my question should be able to be answered via phone so I don't waste a trip out there if you don't have the item in stock so I can exchange a dress that is too big for me for a smaller size. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pay using wallet, nor get the 5% off. I went to return the items and leave-45 minutes later when Evelyn saved the day-checked me out, used my red card and gave me a gift card for the 5% I would have gotten off. I bought a 7 pound box of small milk bones on September 7 and opened them today, September 10. When I put the milk bones into the plastic tub that I keep them in, there were black bugs crawling in the box. I immediately got rid of the box and the milk bones.
