We wanted to replace our leather recliner we have had for 24 years but unless you want electric or a rocker with a side pull we were unable to find something similar to replace it. Ashley was our 3rd stop for shopping and I was able to find something that I liked. This is not a recliner but rather an oversized comfortable as hell chair complete with a pillow. Our experience at Ashley's was complemented by sales professional extraordinaire Tim Doan. Tim was not only helpful but he also fought to get us $100 off the already discounted chair and free delivery. We received the chair today and it has proven thus far to be a good investment. Ashley seems to get some brutal reviews but our experience was nothing less than 5 stars. Also, our delivery people were very kind and helpful. read more

Michelle our sales associate was helpful, kind and not to pushy but stayed attentive to our questions and allowed us time to compare and decide what we wanted to purchase. Once we finalized our decision the experience took a nose dive to dissatisfaction. The manager was not only rude to us but to her. His manner of communication in regards to sales promotions and the use of a gift card was so abrasive and he would not even offer an alternative or the option for discussion. I feel sorry for the staff that work for Ashley. We haven't received our furniture yet but based on our in store experience I highly doubt we will be back to shop at this location or any other Ashley furniture store. Jared provided great customer service. He helped me find my Goldilocks bed! Had me try out about 6 beds based on my sleeping criteria. He said it was important to spend 3-5 minutes on each bed to test for comfort as well as revisit my favorites to determine my final purchase. I was surprised at the different comfort level of each bed and this test put to rest my thought of all beds are about the same. I am so happy I listened to his advice. Previously, Jared helped me purchased the Ashley brand adjustable frame. What a game changer at a great price. Sleeping like a baby now. I don't believe anything could be improved. The male person assisting us was not too pushy. But kept saying we can't do better and the white glove delivery was a crock. Regular delivery would leave the furniture at the door....REALLY??? People spend 5K to 10K or more and the furniture would be left at the door unless one pays $500-$600 delivery. We decided not to buy. And not sure how they did this...but they deleted the items we wanted to purchase from our cart. That's invading our privacy big time. Horrible place . Calling the store is like yelling into the void -- no one's picking up. Customer service? Even worse. They'll politely tell you they "can't help with the store" and send you in circles until you give up. Want to know if something is in stock? Silly you. The only way to find out is to burn gas, fight traffic, and walk into the store yourself -- all for them to shrug and say, "Nope, we don't have it." What a fun use of time. I tried to save myself the headache by ordering online, but when I saw the 2-3 week delivery, I figured I'd call and check stock first. Ha! Joke's on me. If I could give zero stars to the Ashley HomeStore in Murrieta, CA, I would. I purchased a bed frame here and years later discovered termites eating it from the inside out. We've never had termites in our home -- the problem was clearly in the furniture. When I called Ashley's customer service number, they initially promised to send an inspector to check the damage. I prepared for the visit, only for them to cancel the morning of the appointment, claiming the bed was out of warranty -- something they already knew from the start. I did everything possible to reach out to them: multiple phone calls, unanswered emails, and waiting days for replies that never came. In the end, Ashley did nothing at all -- no replacement, not even an offer to fix or replace the infested parts. This experience shows Ashley's complete lack of accountability and care. They wasted my time, gave me the runaround, and avoided all responsibility for selling defective furniture. Reading the other reviews, it's clear this store has a pattern of poor service and broken promises. Save yourself the frustration and go anywhere else. I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience at Ashley HomeStore. My husband and I recently purchased a power recliner couch for our loft in preparation for the arrival of our baby. It seemed comfortable in-store, and we made the decision to buy it the same day. Unfortunately, once it was delivered, it was clear the couch didn't fit our space and wasn't nearly as comfortable as I remembered. I called the store shortly after delivery hoping to exchange it for something that would work better for our family, especially with a baby on the way. I was told very bluntly that all sales are final -- no exceptions, no flexibility, no care for customer satisfaction. For such a large purchase, I expected at least some grace or willingness to work with us. We were more than willing to pay a restock fee and work with store credit - so they made their money and we were satisfied with our purchased. I now feel stuck with a piece of furniture that doesn't work for our home and that I regret buying. It's really upsetting, especially considering we were trying to create a cozy, functional space for our growing family. We spent over 6k on furniture here. We saw one piece we had bought cheaper online the next day. We called and asked for a price march approx $200 difference. We went in to the store a week later to get the refund and were told they would only price match that day. This was never said to us when they promised the match. So on the end the customer service was terrible. The women at the back desk was rude and lied to us. The manager had no backbone and just said "Company policy tall to the store manager" he is a punk don't ever deal with him. I would shop at mor everyday compared to this place. Ali or Ami man w the dark hair and beard appeared upset after we told him we were just looking. But he still had eyes on us, we eventually interacted with him and I regret wasting my time. Husband sat to test a recliner chair and I asked salesman Ali if I can get the name of the chair, he held an iPad then pointed to the tag saying there is a sku number etc. I asked could you just look up the name for me since my WiFi was not working well in the store and this man was so lazy, he mumbled just check the sku then walked away! Oh man I wish I would have read the reviews first. In 2021 we purchased a leather sectional couch for our living room. We paid over $3,000 and purchased the best warranty. We had a love seat and a main couch. Every seat has its own reclining feature. Within a couple of months we knew that the main couch was off. When you recline, it leans to the left. It was so bad it started hurting my husband's back. We called Ashley as it was still under the one year warranty. They sent someone out who said they do see the problem but unfortunately it's not covered. So we were given a defective product and the wouldn't do anything to help. So we unfortunately had to just stop sitting in that particular recliner. Just recently, the hardware started breaking on the other side. We would hear nuts and bolts drop out from underneath. They had actually snapped in half somehow. We are not big people and are average weight. We don't overuse our living room sofa. So we called our secondary warranty and they said they cover everything except hardware. (Of course) So, even though the couch is losing nuts and bolts that are snapping from underneath, our almost $500 warranty means nothing. But the phone number that is on this business card, someplace in Kuala Lumpur or someplace in another country. that helpful? So I cannot even call my Sales associate and get any information on delivery costs and set up. And if you ask them question online in their chat, they only want to be concerned with online sales. The salesman said jist said that we should have put the order in faster if we really wanted that date. Now Its been almost 1 month since our purchase and we still do not have the matress. On 8/31/25; my experience with purchasing furniture from this store has been the absolute worst! I should've turned around and left out the store soon as my mother and I stepped in and NO ONE greeted us. We ended up getting assistance from a very nice and welcoming lady named Elena, she connected us with a sales rep named Liza. Liza made selecting and the purchasing process very smooth and efficient. However, the dining set that was delivered to my home was defective. The table legs are uneven so are the chair legs, so it wobbles when attempting to utilize it. I called the store and spoke with Tom (Manager), he didn't care nor offer any resolution about my complaint and seem to only be able to repeat "I'm sorry but we can't replace or take back furniture you already accepted by delivery". After calling back a 2nd time, this wonderful gem provided a phone number with whom be able to address my complaint. After speaking on to the rep, I made it clear I did not want this table and wanted it picked up if I couldn't get it replaced. They scheduled a repair man to come out. All he did was unscrew the knobs at the bottom of the chairs and advised the table legs would have to be shaved to be made even. ABSOLUTELY TF NOT. I asked him to take the table with him, and I was directed to his "supervisor" who wasted my time submitting a ticket per my request, all to call me back 2 days later to say they can't take back this defective table. Their only options were to set up another repair. So now I have to get others involved to make them take back this faulty furniture! DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE, especially from the Murrieta location if you're black. Overall service is lackluster and so is the furniture. read more

We went into this store yesterday and we were stopping by real quick because we had somewhere else to be shortly thereafter. We walked in and Megan said hello to us and offered to help us. We walked around and looked for the item we wanted to check out. We still took a lap around the store to see if anything else stuck out to us. We were cutting it close on time so we looked for Megan so we could check out. We went in for the Johnelle Coffee Table. Originally, it was $899, but it was on sale for $450! Woo hoo! Talk about an awesome Labor Day sale! Megan said it might take 8-12 weeks for delivery, but luckily, it was available to be delivered 3 days later... even better. We reiterated to Megan that we only had a few minutes to check out and she said it would be quick. Thankfully, we checked out rather quickly after signing on the dotted line about 10 times! We believe the coffee table will match our decor perfectly. We are excited to receive the table in a few days. Recently I visited an Ashley store looking for accent chairs for my den. I found one in the store and spent quite a bit of time sitting in the chair to make sure it was a good fit for me. I'm quite short and chairs don't always fit where my feet touch the floor etc. This chair fit quite nicely. I walked around and came back to the same chair several times and sat for a bit. I decided to order two of them! Fast forward to delivery day a few days later. The chairs arrived with no issues and were new from box. As soon as I sat in them, to my dismay, I realized they were nothing like the chair in the showroom. They looked like the chair, but they physically were nothing like it. My feet did not touch the floor and the padding in the back was so overextended, it nearly pushes you out of the chair. These are rocker gliders so they feel very unstable without being able to anchor yourself. I called Ashley customer service this morning and was told that because I placed the order in the store, I could not return the chairs. Now keep in mind, if I had ordered online, they would have gladly picked them up for a return. So simply because I ordered in-store (after trying the chair), I'm not able to return them, even if they quality and functionality of them are nothing like what was on the store floor. This to me, is a classic case of bait and switch. These chairs look like what was in the store, but are NOTHING like them when it comes to construction. In a nutshell, I would strongly discourage anyone from ever purchasing something from a physical Ashley store. Your only chance at any level of customer satisfaction guarantee is to order online. It's really a shame with so many brick and mortar stores not making it these days, this is a prime example of where it actually hurt me to try and support actual store fronts. When looking around online today because I just couldn't believe this policy of theirs, I noticed that the other competitor big furniture stores offer extremely friendly customer service options if you aren't happy with your purchase. Living Spaces offers 7 day refund if you aren't happy with your purchase for any reason. Buyer beware of Ashley Furniture purchase policy. Unbelievably disappointed with Ashley Furniture Store. I have always loved shopping there since I moved here 21 years ago. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had an upcoming surgery scheduled. To help with the discomfort that I would surely be experiencing my husband took me to Ashley to purchase a new mattress. While figuring out which mattress we would most be comfortable on, the sales lady ( name was Natalie I'm pretty sure) pointed out a mattress protector that she boasted would sleep us 10 degrees cooler. Well anyone living in the Inland Empire would appreciate that. So with summer on our heels and an impending surgery on the horizon we purchased the Bedgear performance mattress protector. It came in just under $350. The first couple of days I actually felt hotter than usual. By one week we definitely decided it needed to be returned. I brought it in to return and they said no cigar. I said " even though the sales person lied to us!?" No returns! I had no idea that Ashley will not do returns. Even when their own sales person misrepresents their products. The manager looked up what the actual cooling would sleep you and it was 2 to 3 degrees cooler. I would NOT have paid almost $350 for 2 to 3 degrees. It has been nothing but the run around since. My original complaint wasn't sent to the right department, I have called multiple times, now my husband had to take over since the surgery and has gotten no where. I haven't received any emails when they DENIED my claim. Email must be stopping it from going in my junk mail because of this junk they just off loaded on us. Do not waste your money buying the extended protection plan from Ashley if it is from GBS protect all. I purchased their 5 year protection plan and they didn't pay on my broken couch. Two different repair men came out to fix it but the last one told us he would report that the frame was broken (which is covered under GBS warranty) but in his written report he falsely reported he moved clips which fix it and GBS stands by that! GBS told me my case was closed when in truth, my couch is still broken! My mistake was not requesting a copy of the report from the repair man before he left. This is a big flaw in the system because the repair man can say one thing and report something else without your knowledge. My California king bed arrived on Saturday with parts missing. They said they would deliver a new bed on Tuesday ( it's Wednesday! And no word from them) I called the store and they have put me down to have a bed arrive the following Tuesday and the store knows I'm sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The bed is disappointing....my mattress came from Costco, sheets fromTarget - they fit. However, Ashley's Nashberg queen metal bed-silver is width 3" too big, 3" too long. The finish is extremely poor, looks like someone used a can of spray paint. Love the look on the ad. Went into the store and the frame fit the bed, no issues. I'd never return to Ashley or Living Spaces: sister stores. Check my pictures.... Too bad I got rid of my old set. Delivery guys perfect. read more

Fool me once... Shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...I have truly found myself living this quote with the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Murrieta California. Honestly, I do not know why I did not learn the first time, when they first failed me. I attribute it to me being a naive buyer, trusting and readily accepted their furniture protection on my living room furniture purchase and came to later deeply regret it. You see, something as simple as a broken ottoman leg was denied by this protection, Needless to say. I was left disappointed, and by some miracle almost a year later was awarded a "credit" of $206.82 to replace said ottoman. The use of which- leads me to my second and most recent disappointment with this "leader in furniture industry." The cause of this review. On 3/14/21 - My family and I went in to finally make use of the credit. After all, it was well deserved after being denied repair of the ottoman. We eventually found a sofa table with stools to add to our seating in our home, for our growing family. Having gotten used to not using the ottoman, we didn't see the need to purchase another one. Take note* Our furniture purchase price was $419.99,after delivery 89.99,and taxes 44.62,came out to a total of grand total of $554.60. After the 206.82 credit was used toward it- our out of pocket cost that day was $347.78. Reasonable enough- so we set the delivery date for 3/20/21. Fast forward to the second delivery date of today 3/26/21(first one was rescheduled without notifying me though they claim to have left a message-though none was received). I found myself looking online to reacquaint myself with what I had purchased and was upset to find the very same item not only lower on Ashley's website but also found it for ONLY $193.19 on several others, Walmart and Amazon being the more mainstream of them. Doing the math(419.99-193.19) means I paid $226.80 MORE than what it is currently being sold for. That's $226.80 worth of food for my kids! So what did I do? I did what ANY mother of 3 would do in these times after having found that out. I researched their price adjustment policy & spoke to their customer service where they advised me to go to the store I purchased it from to adjust price. Simple enough right?WRONG. I get to the store expecting to receive a true price adjustment where I would be getting a refund of that 226.80 difference I overpayed because of the price match policy. But am instead insulted with "I'm sorry ma'am your 206.82 credit was already applied for the initial order and cannot be used in this price adjustment." What??? I asked to speak to the manager,Jeremy, and heard the same thing. According to THEIR math from this new price adjustment invoice, $193.19 purchase price ,plus 89.99 delivery fee,& taxes of $24.78 came to a total of $307.96 which after you subtract it from what I paid out of pocket 347.78 on 3/14/21- left me entitled to only a refund of $39.82. The 206.82 credit being NON EXISTENT now. Yes, .....it's okay to feel confused , I AM. How is it that in the retail business I work in we ARE able to transfer all original forms of payment credit/ visa/ other to the new price adjustment transaction, but Ashley Furniture Homestore- THE LARGEST self proclaimed furniture retailer in California's systems do not allow it? I was left feeling bent over and take advantage of, indeed, my husband said it in less formal words. Truly- in my heart I feel that what they did to me today is akin to theft. And in a time where every penny counts, I can almost assuredly say it should be a CRIME. Ironically-While waiting to be answered by customer service earlier in the day, I can remember their automated recording repeating,boasting, "Ashley is largest home furnishing brand in the world. We design and manufacture our own products. We stock them in our own distribution centers, and ship them around the world using our own fleet. This allows Ashley home store to provide innovative products and services at the best values* in the industry." I can now say with confidence that this is an absolute LIE. Please, if you can learn anything from my experiences - do business elsewhere. With furniture companies who although smaller, truly honor their policies and do what it right for the customer.
