While Kaitlyn's sales skills are great, this company's follow-through on getting your spa hooked up like you want it, is terrible. We ordered the spa to be set-up for 220 voltage and it came 110. They say my electrician should have known how to convert it, but actually had to send out their guy to convert it. Cost me an extra $860 in electrician charges to convert it once, to 110, which then had to be converted back. They refused to take ANY responsibility and I only asked that they refund half of the extra money I had to pay. They refused that too. They act really nice, with lots of "hope you have a nice day" talk, but I don't believe they really care about customer satisfaction. read more

They put our tub in and told us the technician would call to set up the salt water and tutorial- never happened- i just called and they said I had to call , we went two weeks with no tutoring or salt water. now i gotta wait another two weeks. In addition they did not put my safety bar in under the edge of the tub before filling it, now the tub is full of water and i have no safety bar. now the tub is to heavy - we must empty the tub and do it ourselves. overall customer response time and service was terrible. I purchased the Hot Spring Flair brand new. I bought it with the selling point of the Salt Water system. However, based on my experience I think it never worked in my case. I successfully initiated the Salt System within a few days, I cleaned the filter everyday. All chemical balances and salt level are checked everyday and well maintained. However, the Salt System indicator bar always hovered right at the border of the green and the low end yellow. When I asked the store, the answer was as long it is in the green area, it is fine. It was set at 8 per instruction book, and then 10 per store recommendation, but the bar never moved up any bit for the entire time. It was around like 1. In less than two months, the yellow light starts to blink, indicating Salt System ceased to work. The Store says if I kept the filter clean, and the chemicals good, I will need to replace the Cartridge, and that the Cartridge life depended on usage. Well now the Cartridge life is from 3-4 months originally mentioned to less than 2 months, and they cost about $300 for a 3 pack. To me, I am not certain that it is a system that actually works. I had to manually add Chlorine anyways when the system was indicated to be active, and I did not feel any effect of this system working as after that system shuts down I still had to add about the same amount of Chlorine. My thought was I bought a hot tub over 10 grand and it shuts down if I enjoys it frequently (like 4 times a week for 40 minutes each time)? This is America, and we make our products tough. We never had to step into the shower and wonder if hot water is coming right, unlike possibly in other countries may be? I decided the Freshwater Salt System is a hoax, and I felt the product does not match the advertising. I paid for the system in the price but it is not a functioning product. Since the Salt Water system shut down, I simply bought a $15 floater chlorine dispenser, and the water is perfect, even clearer than when the Salt System supposedly initiated and activated in week one. I would say do not pay for this system as it does not work. Go with the traditional way of adding Chlorine. Thank you for reading my experience. read more
