Late review: signed contract in December 2020/Pool completed in late May 2021 We had half a dozen consults before choosing this company and we pretty much knew what kind of experience it was going to be a couple weeks in. No communication, I had to constantly reach out to ask what was going on. It all started with them beginning nearly two weeks later than stated on our contract and then when the excavators call me outside because they are confused between the plans and the design, I knew it would be downhill from there. Their designer Kyle, admitted to not drawing our yard to scale which made the pool in the design look a lot bigger than what we were actually getting. This part was the biggest disappointment as we BOUGHT the design he presented us with. Kyle graciously gave us an "extra two feet" but, who knows how accurate that even is, it's hard to tell since we chose a free form design. During the entire process, I was cleaning up trash from our backyard daily. Their workers' personal trash such as drinks, bottles, fast food items, cigarette butts and packs, rusted screws/nails, metal wires, saw blades, it was terrible. Also no matter how many times we asked the pool company, their workers filled our trash cans week after week with work material such as rocks, shotcrete, rebar, PVC piping, bags, boxes etc. sometimes rendering it useless for us. The communication was severely lacking, I would always have to reach out and ask what was going on as we were in the dark for most of the process. Contractors would no-show or even show up unannounced at ungodly hours of the morning (6-6:30 AM) making the most noise possible and blasting their radio. Even asking to get a heads up when workers came by so I was aware of who was in our yard and for what or so I wouldn't be blocked in our garage, was too hard of a task for them to manage. On our contract, we were quoted 10-12 week process, we are now at 18 weeks with repairs that still need to be done. Another reason why we chose them is for the verbal promise from Kyle that it would be done by a certain date which they since far surpassed. They messed up the depth of our Baja shelf, we were told the pool should be 7 feet with our jumping rock/grotto, but was only made 6 feet, the spillway from our spa has been butchered a few times and now needs to be replaced, and worse of all 90% of our coping cracked within the first month, but according to the owner (Doug Patterson) we signed in our contract that we understood that concrete cracks, yet there is nothing stated in said contract. This has been a miserable and high stress induced experience, completely frustrating week after week of no communication and lack of respect for the customer. The final kicker is that they started a month prior to even getting approved permits through the city which we didn't find out until the very end! The owner only seemed to want to deal with my husband and avoided me like the plague whenever he came around to check on things. Only time I personally heard from him was when he called to ask me to take down an FB post off a home improvement site when I asked for advice in regards to fixing a couple things. My most favorite part by far was the owner, Doug accusing us of withholding the final $22k payment (via Lyon Finnancial) for a couple "punch-list items" when it's stated in our loan contract that the final payment was for completion of project and we were not notified by anyone that the pool was 100% complete. The designer, Kyle asked for payment for plaster which was not a breakdown in the loan payment schedule. My husband called Lyon and they agreed to do a partial payment and then Kyle told us it's fine, that Doug said it would be easier to do the final payment at the end and then had the nerve to come at us with the "withholding payment" BS. They apparently have a huge lack of communication within their company as well. We also failed our final inspection THREE times. At the third time, we were asked if we would just like to be passed so we could be over and done with. In conclusion, I wish we had researched more, been better prepared, looked into more companies, etc because this definitely wasn't the one for us. It's so sad that we waited and saved up for 5 years of having no backyard and spent way too much money for this kind of treatment and outcome. For almost $90k we expect damn near perfection, but they definitely fell (extremely) short in so many aspects. Current update: Our turf has melted in one area behind our pool, that issue was never resolved even after reaching out a couple times and being assured we would hear back and now our spa coping is crumbling apart after a few short years and we have to pay thousands out of pocket to get this fixed. read more

We had a great experience with Doug and his crew at Infinium pools. Doug and his crew were very responsive during the build with any questions that we had. From the 3D design, demo, dig, concrete, and fill we always felt like we were part of the team. We have a small backyard and side yard which in which we have a camper. Our goal was to fit the camper while still having a pool big enough for our family to enjoy. The final product looks identical to the design. BEST pool builder in the state! these guys are top notch! I started the process in May and I am swimming in August! Unbelievable! heard a lot of horror stories from people paying $500 plus just for their design, the build taking 12 months, etc. NOT with Infinium! the design is free; Doug and his team are perfectionists. So reliable, kept me informed every step of the way. I told him what I wanted to spend, and Doug designed it. never tried to get me to spend more. Overall, a good experience. We researched for nearly a year before finally settling on Infinium to build our pool/spa and deck. I'm not very trusting of contractors after hearing years of complaints. Doug came out and pitched the project, good presentation and I liked his approach. He came across as very trust worthy and we felt Infinium would do the a good job. As with any large construction project there were a few hiccups along the way but Doug and the crew at Infinium did a s good a job as anyone could. They finished the build from day one to full pool in about 6.5 weeks. Pretty impressive. They built exactly what we wanted in our small yard. We did have a small leak which took several weeks to resolve and the gentleman who handled that is no longer with the company from what I understand. We also had a more significant leak recently, after Two years enjoying the pool. I called Doug to ask how to proceed since we have a three year extended warranty. It took a few calls/texts to get resolution but he did send out a leak detection company who found and repaired the issue at no charge to us. If I had another large project, I'd look to Infinium again to get the job done. read more

Infinium did a great job on my pool project. Kyle took the dimensions of my backyard and created a rendering that completely optimized the space. Doug managed the build and was very professional and organized. There was never a moment that I could not get a hold of him with my concerns, which is something that I greatly appreciated. All of the contracted workers did a phenomenal job. I specifically want to give a shout out to Fernando, the contractor that poured all of my concrete and installed the tile and stone. This man and his staff are the hardest workers you will ever see. They care so much about their work your satisfaction. I had so many specifics that I wanted to make sure got done (concrete dimensions, sleeves, etc) and not once did I ever worry about them overlooking it. I knew that he wanted to do a great job, and there was no way that he was going to rush through the job to get it completed at my expense. In the end, my backyard turned out absolutely amazing. You wouldn't even know that it was the same house if you'd seen what the backyard looked like in the first place. These guys transformed my backyard into an oasis. I am truly grateful for the effort that was put in. Though the build is done, I trust that Doug and his staff will continue to be available to me in the event that I ever need them. read more

we had our pool built in 2016. the pool light has gone out, I called Doug and left a message, no return call. salt water tank was and still is ready "low" salt from the first month we got the pool. we were told the salt applicator was broke, $700 later and replaced, still reading "low" salt. called Doug, no reply. We have had a good experience with Infinium. We did our due diligence and received multiple quotes. Once we weeded through all of the flakey contractors, we went with Infinium based on their upstanding customer service through the quoting process (Kyle was our sales person/ pool graphic designer). We decided that that is what we wanted through the process; good customer service. I can honestly say that is what we received. Infinium is fully aware that building a pool is a very intimidating and uncertain process for customers that have never built pools before. In designing our pool, Kyle was extremely patient throughout the process, answering questions in a timely manner and adjusting our design NUMEROUS times, every time I thought of something new. Our design turned out beautifully. The actual dig/building process was scheduled efficiently and went smoothly. Our neighbor has a pool and he was shocked at how quickly our pool building process went. We had personally heard nightmares of pools taking 3-4 months to build, and having unfinished loose ends that were never taken care of by the companies. Our project from dig to water into the pool took 50 days. Any concerns or questions we had about the process were always addressed immediately by our project supervisor or Kory. Kory was very good at stopping by or checking in with us throughout the building process to make sure we were happy with the giant project in our backyard! Kory is extremely personable and friendly, and even though running a business takes a ton of time, he always made time for our project! I have to speak to how amazing Kory's rock design crew is. Pools can be a bit of a funny area, a huge mixture of good and bad reviews and heard so many stories of friends paying huge sums of money to have a concrete shell for 6 months. So, within this it is refreshing to work with a company like Infinium pools and specifically Doug who did a great job. I use Yelp a ton for food but can't remember ever commenting in the past. Super excited to leave this review for Infinium. In short, we couldn't be happier with our pool. It's beautiful from the stone coping, to the pebble plaster, to the built in spa and rock grotto. Our sales person Kyle was awesome in getting us a competitive quote, listening to what we wanted and making adjustments along the way. We were not the easiest of customers. I had quotes from two other pool builders (Premier and Paradise) and leveraged those quotes from each to get the price and upgrades we were hoping for. Once we signed the contract, the hole was dug within the week. While the completion took a bit longer than we hoped (crazy rain), we were ok because we didn't want the quality compromised....it wasn't. Quality is 100% above our expectations. Doug who was the project manager (and I think owner) was AWESOME! He'd respond to any text I left him normally within the hour. Any time we needed a change or correction he was in it that day or the next. The crew (Miguel and Fernando) who did most of the work became like family. Nicest and coolest guys around. Well, I am one not to post bad news toward any company but I am at the end of my rope. We want to have some pavers installed in the back yard. I contacted Kory and he came out to our house. We had a very nice conversation. Kory gave us a great quote and we really liked his personality. The problem is that we did not hear from him after that visit so we waited and waited. I finally e mailed him and he got back to me. We waited again and for awhile because we didn't want to seem to pushy. He finally sent a quote and set us up for a date to have the install done. We postponed our plans for that Friday-Sunday. He never showed up or called or not even an e mail. That is a bad business and we are very disappointed. So it is back to the drawing board and all that time wasted waiting on Kory. I would love to know what the deal is but oh well I will start looking for someone else. read more

So excited to break ground on our pool by Infinium Pools. Sorry to say, there work ethics are not good. I would look elsewhere, before giving Infinium to green light, Workmanship is less than satisfactory. Paid plenty of money, for about 85% of the job was done right. 13 cracks within one week in our very expensive coping. Kory said I'm going to get cracks. We called three different companies for quotes, boy was that interesting as to how the quote's were given- one guy wrote his quote on the back of a tattered business card, another guy argued with my husband about his needs. 11/4/21 Signed contract with Infinium Pools. Still not done. After threatening to file complaint with CSLB .Finally had water in pool 4/27/22. This contractor made every excuse on a monthly basis for every phase of the job. Concrete was poured and cracked right at entrance to pool within 3 weeks. Bubbles in pebble tech. Salt dropped off 6/7/22, no salt cell as of today. Doug said he ordered it 2 months ago. Contract stated Pentair equipment, he installed Hayward equipment. Contract stated 1 month pool service, algae started to build, he said his pool guy from Aloha Pools was out and added chemicals. I explained we have 24 hr video surveillance on property. He was lying, next day Aloha Pools shows up. As of today, I still have no salt cell and no response to my texts asking "What's going on"? Today I filed complaint with CSLB.
