He came prepared with tile samples (multiple times) and recommendations that made design decisions easy. We landed on a stunning light grey tile countertop with a white tile that matches our pool -- all beautifully crafted. When we wanted last-minute changes, the team was on it. Quick installation, wrapped up just in time for us to smoke a Thanksgiving turkey on our brand new smoker! Jesse was incredibly communicative the whole way through, always responsive over text and happy to stop by in person to answer questions. When the job was done, the patio was left absolutely spotless -- every box and scrap hauled away. The under-counter LED lighting at night is a fantastic touch we didn't expect. I purchased this barbecue back in September. Even though I was told it would be a couple weeks it wasn't delivered for about a month no big deal it got delivered and it is beautiful, but I had to call several times and was given the runaround before the actual delivery. also on my contract, I was supposed to get a rotisserie It's November and I'm still without. They had said they were going to deliver it the week after it was installed but it's been several weeks. I've tried to stop by the store. They said they don't have it. I was told it would be in yesterday on November 11 and I still have not received it. It's very disappointing. I was told a lot of things during the sale of the barbecue but I definitely got played. Make sure you get everything in writing from them and I would not pay them more than the deposit if you don't have everything. read more

Had a great experience with these guys. They were very responsive, on schedule, and willing to work with me on pricing. They came out same day to take measurements and give me a quote on the spot. Install came ahead of schedule and went very smooth. They returned a couple days later to finish installing a couple back order items and clean on some paint chips and scratches. Note: you need to make sure that power and any other utilities are ran to the location of where you want the unit installed. Everything came pre wired though, so it was an easy connection. This Place saved us from Bull bbq catastrophic failure. We called Mark From Premier bbq and explained what we need and he gave us a price that beat everybody in our area. When we got to the showroom he provided us with tons of options within our budget range. The most important part of all in our signed contract it says 6-8 weeks delivery but he verbally said it will be ready in 4 weeks, we're wasn't expecting that But to our surprise exactly 4 weeks I got a phone call and it was ready so I have to schedule with his delivery guy plus 3 days wait not bad for a 6-8weeks wait. We worked exclusively with Chris from the initial design up to the delivery and custom installation of our bbq island. We had a narrow space to work with, so Chris offered to come out to our home to measure and draw up a design. In the end, we decided on a grill, sink and refrigerator. Chris gave us ideas about how to maximize space and utility of our l-shaped island. He was patient as we selected colors and tile combinations and provided some helpful guidance there. We ran into a couple of issues with installation, but the installers were able to cut the stucco on site to provide an access point for a power box on our stucco columns, which the final design did not account for. It was a quick fix due to the skill level of the installers. The light on our grill went out within a week and Chris had out a tech within a week to come and swap it out. That customer service was excellent! Chris was flexible and worked with us on the budget and final design to make sure we're were happy with the final product. We love our island! In fact, we've asked to add LED lights, which we probably should have had budgeted for from the get-go. Only area of improvement would be I wish the plumbing and gas hook up was part of it. That's probably our bad for not knowing, but installing the sink plumbing ended up being a major pain. We should have asked up front. All in all, we got the product we wanted and Chris worked with us to make it happen. I'd recommend giving Premiere BBQ a shot to earn your business. They are customer-centric and will try to make any accommodations needed to rectify any issues, but also to make the customer 100% satisfied. read more

Worked with Chris to have a custom BBQ island built.  I had some space limitations/ requirements. We drew everything up on paper and then selected a grill, side burner, doors, etc. The order timeline was 8-10 weeks and right within that time frame, it was ready! They were also able to use my preferred brand and color of paint so the island would match the house. I ordered a bbq island, not only did they get the out lets wrong, they ordered 2 different style doors, had to come back to install the door again was not matching the other door! They ruined my brand new driveway and been telling me for weeks they will have the owner come look at it, today I emailed to confirm the time and they say o he cant make it, you do not think calling your customer is the right thing to do. keep in mind they told me 4 times he would come out. I received my U-shaped bbq island today and I am absolutely happy with it. I worked with Mark at the store. I had a preliminary design prepared in AutoCAD for what we wanted. Mark suggested some changes based on his expertise and knowledge, and these changes really improved what we had in mind. The island is well-built and it has all the features we wanted, including tile type and paint colors. A crane was used to move the bbq island to the backyard and the guys who set it up did a really great job. The end result is a very solid and beautiful bbq island. What a great experience! After being burned by Gorilla Islands I brought my business to Premiere BBQ Islands. They designed, built and delivered my outdoor fireplace under the estimated delivery date. Mark was a breathe of fresh air. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and honest. He came to our home and helped with the design process and his choice for colors and tile made the fireplace turn out perfect! He stayed involved the entire process including delivery and Brittany was excellent with her communication. The two guys that delivered the fireplace where extremely helpful, clean and friendly. They went way above and beyond just delivering the fireplace. I can be picky and they remained patient with the placement of the fireplace. They helped mount the TV and run the cables. The fireplace had to be craned in and they touched up any areas affected by the crane. Turns out one of the guys was the owner! We couldn't be happier with Premier BBQ Islands. **0 STARS***** AT FIRST I WAS HAPPY TO GET THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM MARK. THEN ALL WENT DOWN HILL. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY A BBQ ISLAND- I URGE YOU TO GO ELSEWHERE. I placed an order for a 20x18 custom island. Made the deposit then a dew days before the scheduled delivery I paid the balance. Waited all day on the scheduled day (called store and owner Erick) Finally got a response at 2pm that the guys were on their way because they forgot to deliver island. AT 4pm, the BBQ island arrived. I was shocked to say the least. I only received the island without any electrical or appliances. (Appliances came separately in a box and were just left at my house). I once again called Erick (owner) and no response. The next day I received a call from Mark (sales) and was told about the next day to have guys come and do electrical and install appliances. (that was a s*** show, owner would not answer, called, texted and left a voicemail. I finally had husband call him and Erick stated that he had forgotten and that no one had contacted him). I was very clear that since I lived in an HOA that an electrical permit was required (I had already acquired permit) that all electrical had to be to code. I hired an electrician to run the new electrical lines to the BBQ island. When the guy came from the place to install the electrical it was messy and no way they knew what they were doing. I went ahead and scheduled inspection with county (INSPECTION FAILED). the components they used were not up to code. (they used blue plastic boxes inside the islands which are housed outdoors, outlets were just regular and not wet rated). So once again I had to call my electrician to come and remove all of their electrical bs they installed and had to pay to get this resolved. Appliances were finally installed with the help of my tile guys (only 1 person was sent to get this done when this is a 2 person job). My tile guys continued to do tile. The only thing left was to do the portions of the stucco. Once again I called and texted and was told ok by owner (Erick) that he would let me know (that never happened), Mark texted me that it would be Monday or Tuesday, I explained that I had already received text from owner and that he stated he would confirm date before sending someone. Never received any other contact. On Tuesday I received a call from a guy that was at my house to do the stucco and I ended up having to leave work to go home. Stucco was done and it ended up taking 2 days. Not only did I pay a lot of money for this custom BBQ island, then with all the repairs that I had to do and spend an extra $800 to fix the issues created by their lack of unprofessionalism and poor workmanship. read more

This business might have the best prices in town but they sell you grills that are no longer being manufactured. Before a year was up from the time we ordered, not installed, there were not parts available. Our temperature gauge has moisture in it and we are ass out. This rating is purely on the experience of getting the island and disregard for customers after the fact. It started with my husband and I being told that if we paid cash or check we wouldn't have to pay the tax. Well we pay with a cashiers check for the deposit and then all of a sudden that's not considered a "check" or cash. I would never pay cash when it's thousands of dollars. So I said if we're going to get charged taxes for the cashiers check I might as well pay with a card (so I got charged taxes on the balance). Then before putting in the deposit we were told it would be 4-6 weeks till completion. After the deposit was made we were told an extra 4 weeks (okay we're reasonable) we just needed it completed before Memorial Day. I called to check the status on several occasions to make sure everything was on track. Got a call on Friday 5/21 that it was completed so we needed to pay the balance before delivery could be set up. Paid the balance on Sunday 5/23 and Set up delivery for Thursday 5/27. Were given the delivery times of between 1 and 4. 3:00 I call to confirm everything was still on schedule because we hadn't heard anything and was told that the delivery was running late and is now expected at 5:00pm. 4:00 comes and they call me to say that they ran into unexpected issues with the last delivery so needed to change the delivery time to between 7 and 8 in the morning the next day. I confirmed with them that the delivery would be between 7 and 8 but 7 was preferred because of a flight I needed to catch that morning. Friday 5/28 7:20 I receive a call from the wife of the owner that the delivery guys were 20 minutes from the shop and then would be getting to me. 8:45 I call to see where the delivery men are as mind you I ready told them I had to leave for a 10:00 flight. They were supposedly 7 mins out according to their GPS. Well they showed up at 9:15 (30 mins after they were 7 mins away). The set up was pretty quick but 1) the bordering tile was not the color I selected and 2) the drip pan was not on the truck with them. I had to find out about where the drip pan was and have it delivered later that evening and message the owner's wife (Alma) and the sales person (Marc) to see what could be done about the wrong tile being put on it. I could tell that my island was not completed as they had told me the previous week because of the missing item and the paint that was clearly just dried. Well long story short-lies lies and more lies. I chose a black tile with brown and received a brown tile with lighter brown. I asked for the invoice of where they bought the tile nothing; I asked to speak to the owner 3 days ago and nothing. They offered to replace 5 tiles but said that I would have to pay $800-900 more to get it corrected. Why would the customer ever have to pay for a mistake done by the business? Not to mention I was told by one of the other workers in the store that they no longer used the tile I selected because it doesn't hold well. That's fine but give the customer a choice. Was told that the owner may not even call because he may relay the message through the salesperson. Once they got the money they didn't care and we spent over 7 thousand on the island. The island looks nice outside of the issues I had getting it but I wouldn't recommend them. And it's the "I don't know saga." I told them they have to know-it's their business. Smh. We actually were supposed to have been shopping at the other island place on Jefferson so accidentally purchased here and wow. And they wanted referrals? Do the right thing and offer to correct the issue-they'd get more business that way. read more

He was very nice and I'll just leave that there. He drew out the bbq we wanted and ordered it. Waited 2 months , had to keep calling on status. Finally it was ready, we received the wrong bbq. They were trying to blame it on Steve that they couldn't read his writing. Well maybe they need a design center or something where they send you a proof before it's built!! They broke a part of our gate getting it in, we didn't complain. Also, didn't get our griddle pan as noted on our receipt. They tell us they cam build a new one, but I didn't want to go through all that hassle. The owner said he would give us some if the money back for the issue. He told us to go to the store on a Saturday to pick it up. We went and he wasn't there and the guy working was real rude and said he knew nothing about it and had no money for us. Now trying to reach the owner again for a week, impossible. So then I called and spoke to Steve to build us the part we were missing instead. He agreed. Waited another 2 months. Gave us a delivery date, my husband got off early from work and they never showed up. Now still waiting!! Worst customer service ever due to the communication. Steve was my guy. I could text Steve and he always get back to me right away. When we first ordered our unit we were told ten weeks. They are custom made units and we were in the middle of summer. Another company told me 20 weeks. So I thought 10 wasn't so bad. Also, their pricing is comparable to other companies in the area. The whole unit arrived and it is spectacular. It was just as we designed. The only issue we had was out unit is two pieces and they didn't fit together. But the guys came back out and fixed it and we couldn't be more happy. We also had a palapa made and the guys come out and custom make it in the backyard. They do amazing work. You could probably buy a pre-made unit and get it quickly but if you want something special I recommend Premier. read more

I ordered a BBQ island from them and was told that the day before delivery that they wanted cash (not a check, but crisp $100 bills) or the price that they offered was not valid. We did pay our deposit via check so we suddenly confused why a check is no longer considered cash. The day of delivery they were 3 hours late and the island was not built to the specifications. It is missing outlets, the gas lines are not set up, the electrical lines are not properly run and it has concrete splatters. It was also missing the refrigerator and outer ring for it. I withheld a portion of the payment ($500 on a $8000 island) on a commitment that they would be out the following day. They missed the appointment and the owner did not respond to email, text or phone call. The salesperson assured us that this would be resolved in a timely manner. I told them that I am going in tomorrow in attempt to get the refrigerator and outer ring. I do not think that they will live up to their commitments. I recommend going somewhere else because they are not a credible business and try to demand cash so that you have no means of resolving it outside of a small claims. Update: After filing a claim with the BBB and writing this review, we heard back from the owner. He committed to arriving at 9:30 am. I called him at 9:30 and he did not answer. He finally responded closer to 10 am to say he was in Perris. He did deliver the refrigerator and fix the broken tile. He then said that the wrong gas lines were installed since we were propane based. When I asked him about the cash, he said something about not having to file taxes. Seems like they may be defrauding the state or the IRS. I told the owner that I would mail a check so I had proof of last payment since they never sent an invoice for the amount that I did pay. I withheld $500 on a nearly $8000 island. (They have accused of us of non-payment of the balance which is odd since they sent an email acknowledging that we agreed to pay in a different form aka a check since we felt uncomfortable about giving them more cash given the tax comments by the owner. I guess slander is a form of retaliation so it shows you what kind of people you are dealing with). I also addressed the lack of professionalism from his manager and how she is quick to say pay me cash, but not quick to respond to issues. Expect a runaround from them. I do feel bad for the salesguy since he was the only responsive person, but has no control over the owner and his shady business practices. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. As a final and last update, we received a nasty text message from the salesguy (so much for sympathy for him) regarding this situation. They claimed we were inconvenienced and that they do not deserve a bad review even though a check was no longer cash, two no shows and an owner who cannot follow-up. Plus our inlays are still the wrong color. We paid the balance to hopefully make them go away. I want to support local businesses, but maybe one with less issues. read more

Horrible craftsmanship and horrible service. We bought our island in March of 2020 and its been falling apart ever since. Early on I called SEVERAL times for maintenance and repair and was met with attitude and resistance. Eventually they just completely ghosted me and would not return phone calls or emails. Tiles are falling off the bottom, the bbq isn't set in correct which is causing top tiles to crack, lights don't (and never have) worked, pretty sure the fridge they installed was used... list goes on and on. I could deal with needed maintenance but it's the horrible service and lack of "standing by your brand" that really gets to me. Do yourself a favor and spend your THOUSANDS of hard earned dollars elsewhere because this palace is awful. read more

The island is beautiful and they even matched the stones on our island with our pool and spa, completing the exact desert/tropical feel we were looking for in our yard. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THE ELECTRICAL WIRING AND OUTLETS ARE NOT INSTALLED PER COUNTY CODES. We purchased a BBQ island from them in early April (Mark Montoya was our sales rep) and were initially told it would be a 6-7 week lead time. After the timeframe came and went, we had to constantly call the office to get an update on our BBQ. We were always told they didn't know and had to call the factory or their boss. Apparently, no one in the office could give us information about our order, we were always told they would have to call the owner. We would have to wait several days before calling back again only to be told our order got delayed. This happened multiple times. Horrible communication and they would never be the ones to reach out to customers to give an update. We finally got the BBQ installed June 14th (10 weeks after our initial order was placed and deposit paid). The BBQ was permitted and when we had our final inspection done, we did not pass due to them not installing GFCI outlets or the correct wiring per county and state code. The BBQ is an outdoor unit (same as all of the ones they build) so there is always a chance it could get wet in the rain. This is a county and state code so there is no excuse for them to be building these BBQs with incorrect material that is not permitted for wet locations. We called our sales rep Mark and explained to him they did not use correct wiring in the BBQ and also sent the company an email with a notice we received signed by the County of Riverside inspector. We asked them to fix their mistake and install GFCI outlets and correct wiring in the unit. Mark told us he would have to contact his boss. A few days later, Mark left us voicemail stating "the owner was very direct and told me you're going to need to hire somebody to get the GFCI and wiring fixed." We have to pay additional money now to fix their mistake so we can pass final inspection with the County of Riverside. If you want a BBQ built using correct wiring and outlets per code, don't use Premier. read more
