DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! Everything looks nice but overpriced here! Salesman and store manager don't care anything about you after you purchased! (Our salesman "New York Sean" tried to offer us a good deal, but it turned out it's still overpriced, the furniture didn't worth the money... they raised the price first and told you they would work on it and gave you the biggest discount you've never had... we can tell, it's so tricky) We spent around 3000 bucks here, we ordered a bedroom set and a dining room set. SCAM ARTISTS! Buying furniture here is like dealing with car salesmen. When we went to look at some furniture Chuck is who was helping us, comes off as a sweet person, and very helpful. I wanted to just buy the furniture online but my husband who has worked in sales said lets just buy it in-store so the sales guy who helped us can get credit, cause again he SEEMED like a good guy. Now buying the furniture was a circus. I told him what we wanted he totaled everything and it was supposed to be ready to go, so it was quick and easy. WRONG. The "computers were down" and the wifi was "slow" and he had to reenter everything again and kept going back and fourth from an i-pad to the computer. It was a mess, but I'm like ok things happen. But when I declined the 5 year protection program thats when things got worse. He kept pushing this dumb plan on me which I know is a scam. I kept saying no. And he did this song and dance thing with his manager about giving it to me for half off. Still declined. Then he said we will give it to you at "NO COST" I still did't want it! And thats when I got more suspicious and uncomfortable because just take no for an answer and stop trying to sell me on something Ive said no to multiple times. It felt worse than buying a car it was that pushy. So once the computers were "back up" he showed me the total on the i-pad but said he couldn't show me the screen on the computer where i'm getting charged because it was still down. I dunno, it was a mess. I think this was part of their sales technique now honestly to distract people. Later on when I checked my receipt they snuck in the 5 year protection plan that I declined many times! BUT they didn't list it on receipt, thats why I didn't catch it right away. The delivery delayed 3 times pushing our items out 4 weeks. once we received the items, we just felt that it wasn't the right fit. we asked to return within 72 hours and offered to pay the restocking and delivery fee.. just told no, no, no, no, no.... No understanding, no returns, no help, no exchange, no nothing. So if you shop here Be absolutely sure! They're website even states that even if you're not in love you can return the item within 30 days if you pay the restocking fee, but when you bring that up they just tell you to look at the bottom of your receipt which states all sales final. Furniture has insects as seen on video & the furniture is very dusty & dirty! Who would want to sit on these chairs? This is nightmare! Part 2- They finally got my bed slates ordered for today's delivery after 3:30 which was fine since I was at work till 3. They called me at 2 to tell me my delivery was in ten min. So I missed my appointment. Even tho it was supposed to be after 3:30. Got home looked at the bed and then I noticed the damage from the install from yesterday. The torqued the bolts through the wood. Now I have to take more time off work to drive 2 hours north to pick up my bed slates and wait for a technician to come out next Tuesday to look at the damage ugh I'm about to demand a full refund read more

They ask you for a picture ahead of time and then come up with an apology. Call center for that is overseas so you will deal with some folks that would make it hard for you and them to understand in general. I have now purchased three sets of furniture from Ashley furniture. The first experience was terrible, the second experience was good except for the fact that the bed set is a piece of junk. The third experience was going well, until they forgot to put in the dining room table. The salesperson screwed up on the paperwork, didn't put on the dining room table, and it wasn't delivered. This is causing a massive inconvenience since be home that the furniture is getting delivered to is two and a half hours from where I currently live. I planned my entire schedule around that furniture delivery, and I cannot come back up for a second delivery the response I received from Ashley furniture was basically that I had to come back in, order the table, and that they would deliver it whenever they had an opening, this is obviously unacceptable and they are not willing to own their mistake and make it right. I do not recommend them at this point. Tom, The general manager, is unwilling to rectify the situation because quite frankly they do not care about their customer base. This review relates to post sale customer service only. It was going to take a month to get my chairs so I decided to look at Living Spaces. Sure enough they had chairs that could be delivered quickly and that I actually liked better. I bought them. I called Ashley customer service on 12/31/20 to cancel my order. A woman cancelled it and gave me a reference #. A month and a half later on 2/13 I noticed I never got the $231.64 refund to my credit card. After almost an hour chatting while waiting on hold. The chat rep said I'd have my refund in 3 days while the girl on the phone said the "central office" would have to call me. I told her I don't need to get a voiuce mail from them, just tell them to issue the refund. A week later 2/20 still no refund. I spent another hour on the phone at which time they transferred me to the local store. She said if I drove 40 minutes round trip into the store she'd issue the refund. I was disgusted at their poor customer service at that point and didn't feel I should invest more time and gas driving. I called Visa and contested the charge. Lastly, I will say I called Living Spaces to change from 4 chairs to 3. I immediately got a refund and 3 chairs correctly arrived. Ashley's customer service is terrible. read more

This store is terrible. From walking in there was literally no one to be seen. No one greeted us EVER. Nobody ever came and asked if we needed help. We had to track someone down and then he passed us on to someone else as if we were worth his time. I normally hate being hassled by furniture sales people, but being completely ignored is ridiculous. We purchased a bad frame on a special deal because it was a floor model. Due to that fact, they didn't offer delivery except through some 3rd party company that would have cost over $100. So we payed for our item and said we would be back with a UHaul Truck later. The person who helped us said to call and let her know when we would pick up. We started calling around 12pm that day for 30 minutes and No one answered!! It just kept ringing and ringing. When we finally got through and transferred to our sales person, there was no apology just a "well there's only one girl working the phones." That's not my problem, it's a Saturday - they should probably have more people answering the phones! It was dead in there as well so I'm not sure why the sales people couldn't help with phones either... Anyways we got our King Sized bed frame home and put together. Then we place our King size bed on it and there is almost 4 inches between the end of the mattress and the footboard. We looked online to confirms we received a king based on the dimensions and the dimensions were correct. I just assumed that if it's marketed as a king bed it would fit a king mattress! It appears that they likely sell this King size to fit both King and Cal King mattresses which is ANNOYING. Never returning to this store ever again. read more

We purchased a full size bed and mattress for our 5 year old daughter back in April of this year. Delivered a few months later, which was okey as they were upfront about it. Two guys came to deliver and set it up. Mind you they had to use our power drill as they "forgot" their tools. From the outside the bed looked okey. I even tipped them. Fast forward to a month later the bed started squeaking every move and the mattress dipped. First we thought it was the mattress and was putting a complaint to tempurpedic, that's when we discovered the true problem. It turned out there were missing screws to the bed, there was supposed to be legs in the middle but that was missing too. As you can see in the pictures, one of the brackets was shaved off. It was just done so horribly. These guys shouldn't be putting furnitures together, i mean it's a safety concern. So we talked to ashley furniture who sent us a person to "take a look" i thought they would fix it but no i was promised "parts" will be sent in a week. Apparently I have to assemble and fix the botched job myself. It's beyond ridiculous and to this day which is about 3 weeks, im still waiting on the "parts". read more

Don't do it! Go anywhere else! Number 1 - they are selling furniture that they don't have in stock and have ZERO idea of when it's coming. They will tell you oh it's back ordered for 1 month, set your delivery date, then 2 months later they will have changed your date over and over again sometimes without even notifying you! They confirmed 3 days before our original delivery date so we got rid of my daughter's old furniture, then they rescheduled. She hasn't had furniture for 2 months! Horrible customer service. I have had to go in physically every time I had a question on my order. NO one answers and even when I went in and asked about that they say there is nothing they can do about it. There is only one number and apparently it doesn't work and they don't know why it won't ring for them. Simply just don't know why... great initiative on figuring out how to solve the problem. They say they will call you back and leave a message and they do not. EVEN after I ask them if they really will leave a message because they said they would but didn't the time prior. That is my fault for assuming an Ashley's representative would do what they said they would do. I spent 10K, and at a minimum expect to be able to reach someone by phone to answer simple inquiries. My dates for deliveries are pushed back now and at this current moment I still have no idea why. My husband went in today physically to speak to a manager and could not. Manager was in a meeting. Understandable however, no "can we take a message for them to call you" , nothing. Horrible experience at this Ashley's. Back on 2017 I bought a bedroom set , very elegant and expensive . They make you buy the insurance plan so I did! Just this past weekend we couldn't open the drawer. So Monday I called the insurance company GBS of course they can't help me they say the hardware is not insured ! But I don't know why it won't open it could be something else! My husband took the back off and there's nothing blocking it! Well Ashley won't help me and neither will GBS and the policy is. A 5 year policy! They suck! The staff was helpful and professional during the buying process. I made my purchase in september. My first partial delivery was made on time in October. When the balance of my furniture was suppose to arrive at the beginning of November, I received a call saying that some items were backordered and they would be delivering another partial in with the balance of the items arriving on Dec 2nd. On 11/29, I received a call saying that some of the items were once again backordered and they would not be making a delivery. I called to get more information, which I was told the rest of my sectional was in stock but I would have to wait for a full delivery of all my items. My nightstands were backordered again until february 2021. Customer service created to request the delivery of the couches and said I would be contacted within 24-48 hours with a resolution. It is now exactly a week later, I called Ashley, and apparently the couches are no longer in stock and there is nothing that can be done. My new quoted time to receive my complete order is february, more than 5 months after my purchase date and 4 months after the original delivery date. I understand with COVID there are circumstances out of our control however deliver the furniture when its available, return calls on open tickets, and be more truthful with your delivery dates. read more

Purchased a Queen mattress for my son's room in 2021 along with the mattress protector that is supposed to guarantee their warranty. Now 2024 the springs of the mattress are bulging out of one side and even though the technician says he sees this happen regularly even with the correct foundation in place, a small discoloration on the mattress voided the warranty according to Ashley Furniture. They also did not even follow up, I had to call to find this out which was a pain dealing with a Foreign call center because the store did not answer the phone. Two of my kids mattresses are from Ashley and I was going to purchase a third and possibly replace our King mattress through them but after experiencing their lack of customer service and not upholding their warranty, I will no longer be purchasing through Ashley furniture and advising anyone I know to do the same. read more

I received a mailer from them that reads: $100 gift card just for coming in. So earlier this week, I decided to make an appointment (which is required now) to check out a bed frame for my California King. First, our saleslady attempted to explain to me that their online business is a separate company from in-store. Thought that was strange, but played along anyway. She continued insisting we shouldn't buy from Ashley Home Store online because items have been arriving late and damaged, and in-store will not be able to help us since it's a different company. Umm..red flag! So after looking at a few beds, I mentioned the flyer. I was immediately brushed off. Was told I wouldn't be able to use the gift card anyway because of the 4th of July sale currently going on. Hmm..but the flyer, along with several postings they had up, reads: receive a $100 gift card just for coming in. Our minds were made up on the Brashland panel bed already, but we wanted to check out other places to compare prices. So we left, without the gift card that was promised. After looking at several other places, we determined the Brashland was the best looking for its price, and should last us several years. So, we returned and placed the order. Well, guess when we shall expect delivery?! Over one month from now, which contradicted the saleslady's advice not to order online because of the delays! And, once again, she brushed us off for the gift card. Finally spoke to the manager, showed him the flyer, and reiterated that we weren't looking to apply the gift card on today's purchase. Went in and purchased a sofa/love seat set. After having the set for 4 weeks, the right side of the couch started to sag. I had purchased the warranty so I called to get it repaired or replaced. It took two weeks to get someone to look at it from the warranty division. Two men came out and looked, took measurements and said they would be ordering replacement parts to fix it. After another week they called and said that the parts and the couch were discontinued so they needed to work with the store to get a credit. I called the store after a week of hearing nothing and went back and forth between the warranty company and the store, calling several times over the next few weeks. They said they would give me a credit for the couch and that the loveseat was fine so they wouldn't credit that. It was a set and there was nothing else to match it so they said to keep the couch and gave me a credit for the store. I went to the store and found nothing for the amount of credit they gave me that would work with my loveseat. I picked out a desk and wanted it delivered. My address had changed and I waited in the store while they changed the address in the computer and confirmed they were doing it. (or so I thought) I received an email and a call that my desk was being delivered about 4 days later. It never came so I called and they rescheduled it for the next day. It still never came so I called again and they said it had been delivered.... to the old address!!!! I was very angry at this point, and they finally said they would send another one out on a truck with a delivery driver. (what does that mean? I thought that is what they did before) and it would be free, it had better be! Now I wait again to see if it is really delivered next week. Case in point-We found a bookshelf we liked on the "show"room floor-there were several of the same style there, and we were quoted $159.00. Went to purchase it, and they wanted another $99.00 to come over a week from now and deliver it-or I can pay $34.00 and they'll leave it in pieces on my doorstep! Hmmmm.....A 62% up charge for something that normally I could walk out of the store with? Won't allow it....and we didn't even get to the phony "protection plans". However, you have to tell them you found it on THEIR website for a cheaper price. You are still paying for delivery. Added bonus scam: You will NOT find the products by picture. You have to manually enter the product number on the website. The skinny: Go to the store, try out the item but do not buy. Write down the name and number of the item then search it on the ashley website. Have it delivered for free. I will not be shopping here out of principle. It is unethical to charge customers more, simply because they don't mention your own website's prices. read more

@AshleyHomeStore I bought my son a mattress from Ashley Furniture. When it was delivered, it was not the bed I ordered. The salesman put in wrong SKU#. Filed a claim 4 wks ago and no one has contacted me yet! After I Tweeted at them, @AshleyHomeStore said to DM them. I did 2 weeks ago and still no reply!! I had to buy another mattress somewhere else, and still have the wrong mattress that they won't let me return, they won't answer their phones, they don't respond to any type of communication. When I looked up the mattress that they delivered on their website, it was $300 cheaper than what they charged me, and it have the same SKU number. So, they basically delivered the wrong mattress that they charged me $300 more for than what that mattress was worth. The mattress I ordered was almost $600 at 40% off, but the mattress they delivered was listed as $210!! Crappy trundle bed mattress! Now they will not make it right. Thousands of comments on their Twitter page with people having the same exact problems. Do not ever buy anything from Ashley furniture! I purchased the mattress at the Ashley in Murietta, but when you call their store you still get the main Ashley number. Three times I've called them and been on hold for over an hour and had nobody answer the phones. Their chat option is really just a robot who cannot help you. When I called corporate, it was the same number listed for the store in Marietta. No email address. Negative stars if I could. I never yelp but today was just different. I work in high end car sales and come from very established country clubs in Newport Beach so I know a thing or two about greeting customers and making them feel welcomed etc. I walked in and didn't get greeted. Instead there was an older gentleman watching videos on his phone at the front desk. I then proceeded to stand and walk back and forth between two tables, talking to my wife about which one to take home. I'm standing at the table for 5 minutes in his direction waiting for him to get off his phone. I'm also not going to go find a worker when I should have been greeted but when 2 regular clients(I guess) come in and he greets them very fast and friendly. He then proceeded to help the guy who came in 20 min after me while I waited. I just left. Again, I'm not a complainer but I know because of how I was dressed in work out clothes, my hair not hair done that I was probably labeled as a stoker or window shopper but I was actually about to spend $5 grand on a damn dining table and bedroom set my wife really wanted. I may have looked broke but I am far from beyond that. Not one of the 5 people I walked by said anything to me. I will never go back to that store. We've chosen to never shop at this store again due to our recent visit and to be honest I may never purchase another piece of Ashley furniture altogether. We were in the store for about 6 hours total on 9/24 and 9/25 - entirely too long to be around Natalie and Tom Freeman. Gilbert ultimately helped us out and was an exceptional salesperson but both Natalie and Tom seemed to be doing this job for too long. They have no care for customers...only numbers. 1. We watched a manager yell at and belittle several employees near closing time on 9/24 in front of my three teens. 2. After we came back to the store the next day to complete a transaction (a banking blunder stopped us from purchasing the night before) the manager had changed the deal and would not honor our previous agreement. 3. We were being strong armed into paying for a warranty even though warranties are purely by choice. The manager (Tom Freeman) literally told us that we could not get a pre-negotiated discount if we chose not to purchase the warranty. 4. Manager, Tom was extremely rude to us. Talked down to us and treated us very poorly. He actually argued with me (pretty loudly) for about 30 minutes on the floor in front of other customers. At the end he went into his office and closed the door leaving us on the floor. 5. Natalie was a jerk... Period. 6. Both Natalie and Tom lied to us about store policies. read more

Loving my new living room set !! The staff is really friendly and not pushing you to buy anything walking into a furniture store sometimes feels like a car dealer ... But not hear they give you your space to look take your time and I love that since I have to sit on every couch their to make sure I make the right choice ! And yes they let you do that hear thank you for you patience with picky customers like me :) Overall i highly recommend this corporate Ashley store great service and got a Amazing deal on my new living room set .. read more
