The Sushi we ordered was delicious! Louisiana Roll was our favorite. This roll is fried, has a little kick of heat, overall good flavor and texture. El Diablo Roll. A little bit of heat, the fish had a fresh light taste and texture that helped break up the richness of the Volcano. Volcano Roll. This roll was very rich, it was delicious but ideally we would only comfortably eat 1-2 each. We did eat them all and they were delicious though! Overall beautiful presentation of the rolls, the orders came in a good time, and we received everything we ordered. Our server was kind and prompt in taking our order and bringing it out. They have contactless menus to scan at the table and majority of the items, if not all, have photos, and they have booth style areas to sit.

Sushi is the one food I have missed the most in 2020 and still in 2021. I hadn't gone out for sushi, picked up from a few spots occasionally but sushi really tastes best when it goes right from the sushi bar, a feet feet over and eaten fresh. So the other day we decided to finally go out and enjoy a sit down meal. We came in late since we had to work but we knew what we wanted and we were hungry so we knew we would be quick! Wait time at 8:10 was quoted 15 min with two other tables sat. It ended up being much quicker than that, 5 or so min! The sushi bar is closed, seating is still limited, we were seated on the side where everything was closed off and it just felt still like that area was closed but we were there. It's still not quite the dining experience I think we all miss but the waitress was nice, service was quick, and food came fast. We ordered the crab rangoons, tako yaki, and two rolls (seahawks roll and da bomb). The crab rangoons were mainly cream cheese, very little crab and a lot of rice paper. The tako yaki was very good though, I highly recommend! As for the rolls, we liked both but were a bit underwhelmed. Nothing stood out too much and it still wasn't quite the freshness we miss from sushi bars. Perhaps because it was later so that's our bad, but we'll definitely have to visit again for another try.

I came in on Tuesday night. It was quiet and I was seated right away. Server was also the hostess and she was polite and attentive. I ordered: * Mixed tempura entree--rice with shrimp and vegetable tempura, and came with miso soup and salad * Amaebi shrimp sushi with deep fried shrimp heads * Salmon sushi * Seared salmon sushi * Dragon roll The seared salmon sushi and Dragon Roll were excellent. Both delicious. Salmon sushi tasted fresh and very good. I like that the rice was still a little warm and it just melted in my mouth. The amaebi shrimp and tempura and soup were just above average. Freshly cooked. The salad was good, but would have preferred a Japanese ginger/carrot dressing or something like that. I'd come back again for their sushi for sure.

The family really wanted sushi for dinner so we came here to try a new spot out. When we got to the door there were a few people eating dinner inside and we were told it will be a 15 min wait for a table. The hostess took my name and number and told me she would give me a call when the table was available. We waited maybe 10 minutes and we were seated. Once we sat down our drink orders were promptly taken and they came out very fast. Once we decided what we wanted to eat we ordered, which was a lot of food! The waitress was cracking up because we were poking fun at at son who ordered 3 rolls for himself, she was blown away he could eat so much. After a good laugh we had our order in. The food didn't take long to come out and we started digging in. Every roll we ordered looked amazing and the taste matched what we saw. I'm a sushi snob and I was loving the flavors each roll had! We had a great experience dining here and we will for sure be back!

Wow wow wow! Pulled up, seemed insignificant. Walked in-- blown away! Brand new inside, very comfortable, adorable cabana sushi bar, extremely fast and delicious, wonderful soundtrack with perfect volume. We had made a reservation for just after they opened. Waitress- Mindy, 5 star service-- she served 5 parties with no delays. The chef creates very tasteful flavorful sushi, beautifully arranged, and generous. We reordered the Las Vegas, TNT and crunchy fantasy rolls. Started with miso soup, green tea and Rangoon, then the rolls started coming in!!! It would be a tragedy NOT to come back.

OVERALL: 7.8/10 (Yelp Converted Score: 3.9/5 - rounded up to 4/5). I generally don't hit up places around the Mill Creek area, because (a) I don't live in that area, and (b) I subconsciously compare everything to Seattle, and that's not fair, because Mill Creek has places too! I stopped by since it had a decent average rating, and I had to play a tennis match in an hour. 1) VARIETY/SELECTION: 7/10. The menu had a relatively decent selection: hibachi bentos (lunch/dinner), ramen, sushi / sashimi a la carte, sushi rolls, hand rolls, teriyaki, and udon. My issue was that there didn't seem to be any kind of specialty dish - sort of like a "jack of all trades, master of none" place. I'd posit that ordering more rolls than anything else would yield a better result, since there was certainly a lot of sushi and roll selection (I saw ramen - I started craving ramen). 2) FRESHNESS: 6/10. The spicy tuna roll that came with the "Ramen Combo B" was decent (say 7.5/10), and the green tea was adequate (8/10). The ramen dish is where I took issue (5/10, if that) -- the soup had enough MSG in it that I could feel how much bloat it would give me by just looking at the surface of the broth. The noodles were "okay", but they generally had a neutral-to-"none" flavour. The togarashi topping helped to give *some* flavour, though. The major complaint I had was regarding the egg - which was extremely hard-boiled - there was no yolk whatsoever, which made me sad, because it's *ramen*! Minor complaint about the spicy tuna roll: it was an inconsistent size - some of the rolls were tall, others were short. 3) VALUE FOR MONEY: 9/10. My full meal $15.96 (after tax, before tip) for green tea & "Ramen Combo B", which included shoyu ramen and an 8pc spicy tuna roll. I went in hungry, and felt full leaving, so decent value for money. Unfortunately, the MSG in the broth made the soup hard to drink fully, but I did enjoy everything else in the combo. 4) SERVICE: 9/10. From what I could see, there were 2 wait staff (1 primary, 1 secondary), 2 sushi chefs; everyone always seemed busy. Note: I dined alone, so that might have helped expedite my experience. After ordering my food & green tea, I received all of the items within 10 minutes, and was able to finish eating, get the check, and pay within 40 minutes. I was somewhat saddened by the lack of green tea refill - especially since the restaurant wasn't *that* full, and a lot of time was spent in between "when dishes were ready to be served". That may have been due to the distance between the (central preparation) area that the dishes were coming from, and the tables that had ordered them (which were on the far reaches of the restaurant). Another note: There were tons of open tables - I can see how this place may get busy on a Saturday or Friday night, but on the Sunday evening (around dinner hour - 6pm) that I went, there were maybe 6-8 other parties in the restaurant. The big plus was that they accommodated my peanut allergy - when I originally ordered the "classic" Ramen Combo B, the wait staff went to put my order in, and warned me that I should avoid that one due to possible cross-contamination - recommending the "shoyu" option instead, which I went with, and had no issues with! 5) CONSISTENCY / FIRST IMPRESSION: 8/10. Decent first-time experience, I'd definitely come back! This place seemed more suited for parties of 3 or more, simply because there were very few tables that sat exactly two people (and the seating arrangement didn't seem that flexible, since a lot of the seating was booth-based bench seating, for mostly parties of 4 or more), and that's definitely reflected by the large selection of rolls available (which you could order multiple of, for the entire party). The dinner bentos also seemed interesting - I was fairly close to trying one of the teriyaki dinner bentos (since they're hard to mess up, and I needed energy for a tennis match), but ultimately I picked a "ramen combo" that included a basic sushi roll as part of the combo. For one person, the combo size was large enough.

Our New Year resolution is to try new restaurants, this is the first. The south county area is packed with sushi places; I drove past 4 other sushi joints to get to Ho. The layout is typical, tables and a bar to sit at. Overall, it felt messy and cluttered. The service was not stellar, only a single person serving and putting together the orders. The server really needed help. She was very pleasant, but tired. Ho's menu has a great selection of rolls; they taste as good as they were described. The dinner was nice, the service was slow, the facility needs to be tidied up and cleaned. I don't know if we will return; the sushi competition is fierce.

Love the fresh quality of fish that is served here! Every times we've gone, we've been pleased with how fresh the fish was...however I'd skip the udon and ramen. This time around, we got the Ho sushi for two ($50 I think...they increased their price recently) which comes with 2 rolls, nigiri, and sashimi- nicely placed on a boat and honestly could serve 3-4 depending on how hungry you are. We recognized a server that was at Oshima sushi in H-mart and she's always been a great server, so we were excited that she works here now. It might be tricky to find if you miss the turn in front of it but I definitely recommend this place! We'll be back soon, for sure.

Staff was friendly and informative. Atmosphere was relaxing. My friend and I came here to try it out since they have 10% off for their grand opening. The menu was fun to look at, many options and pictures. I always get some sort of sushi with eel and it was okay here, not the best but definitely not the worst. I was very happy with my experience here. The outside of the restaurant looks a little sketchy, but inside is another world! It's nicely decorated and reminds me of Izakayas I visited while living in Japan. I was surprised almost every day of the week they have a happy hour or special for something, Monday's I believe it's discounted Ramen, and happy hour for Sushi is at 3pm I believe. I thought that was swell. I was happy with my order as well, I ordered a Las Vegas role which was delictably crunchy and yummy. My husband ordered the ramen, which to me didn't taste as good. I would gladly come back again for the sushi happy hour though. :). read more

Really great service and great sushi. We went on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The restaurant was quite busy but had cleared out about halfway thru our meal. However, they had a steady flow of customers. The service is really great and the servers are very attentive to your needs. We started with the edamame, huge serving size. We had the Black Dragon Roll, Las Vegas Roll, Godzilla Roll, and the AAC Roll. They were all really good! We'll be back! read more

It's a cute place although it's in a strip mall. I ordered for take away through Eat24, scheduled to be picked up at 12:15pm. I live in Seattle, so I have gone to some, if not most of the sushi restaurants in the Seattle area including Shiro's and Sushi Kashiba. I guess I'd say.. this is OK for where it is if you don't want to travel to Seattle. I ordered seared salmon and unagi sashimi, I thought that was fairly worth the price as they were big pieces and it was nice it came with cucumber. Although the cucumber was watery and tasteless, I felt as though I had tasted better cucumber before. I loved the eel sauce, it was a perfect consistency than most places I've eaten at. I ordered the spider roll, since this was my first time ordering I thought better stick with the 'usual' orders at restaurants. It was definitely underwhelming. I did not like the fact that the lettuce piece was the crunchy part rather than the leaf itself. This roll for sure I have had better at those conveyor belt or made to order locations. Let's talk about service, I came in about 5 minutes before my scheduled time, the waiter was kind of rude about it.. he said you said for a pick up at 12:15... why yes I know that. I work up here, so I didn't know the exact time it'd take me with lights and slight of traffic. For me, I think your customer would know what time they scheduled a take away. You should just plainly state we are still working on it. I don't mind waiting. I'd rather be early than late to pick up especially when it's sushi. There's only a certain amount of timeframe before your food goes bad. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this place, but like I said if you want food but don't want to travel to Seattle this is decent enough. I'm for sure trying other sushi restaurants in the south Everett/ Everett Mall way area. read more

Delicious! There is such a great variety on the menu, the fish is fresh and the service is always great! I don't generally eat sushi outside of the city of Seattle but this place is great! Only place north of downtown that I eat raw fish at. Highly recommend! read more

The fish is really high quality, service is great, and the other menu items were delicious. The sake list is too small, and the sakes listed are not great. I would recommend sticking with wine or beer. I would recommend this sushi bar over Sushi Zen, Sushi Spott, and Wasabi Bay. Ho Sushi is 10 times better than these three. :) read more

Fantastic food and really great service. We ordered the vegetable tempura, avocado rolls and yellow radish rolls. It came with miso and a side salad with a delicious, sweet dressing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we will definitely be back! Side note: While this place is kid friendly, there are no changing tables in the bathrooms. read more

Meh. The food was okay..run of the mill sushi and ramen. We ordered two bowls of Ramen and 1 dragon roll. The rice in the roll was thin and so was the eel. All we could taste was the avocado. I get it, maybe they are trying to save on costs but who skimps out on rice?! The Ramen broth was decent. They added cabbage which was odd as I have never had that before.. the chasu pork was also dry.. their portions are tiny as well. All in all, not worth visiting as it costs us $35 for a meal that wasn't filling or tasty. read more

My fav sushi restaurant so far! & I've been to many!!! It's right down the street from my house and it's affordable. Their fried calamari is fried perfectly and taste great!! Not chewy at all!! I am rating this solely based on delivery service and taste. I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to leave the house, but wanted sushi. I ordered online for delivery. An appetizer and three rolls, $30. Not bad. They said about 45-1 hour wait for delivery. I received my food in 20 mins! It was delicious. I have heard many good things about this place. I will definitely reorder their food, but I can't wait to try the actual restaurant. read more

I have to agree with previous reviews. It's also my new favorite sushi place. It could even be my favorite restaurant of any kind right now. Excellent customer service that goes above and beyond throwing in little bonus sample items and checking on us regularly to make sure we get everything we can out of our dining experience. I highly recommend the Everett roll and spending the extra money to get your rolls served in a boat. Their presentation far surpasses any sushi bar I have ever been to. read more

We came here for sushi and ramen. Sushi is ok, a lot of choices. Ramen is a disappointment. The instant ramen you can buy in the frozen aisle in Asian store is way better. To make it worse they put cabbage for vegetables, lots of them. Definitely will not my go to place. read more

Went there on recommendation and was not disappointed. Its run by Chinese not Korean like many sushi places. Larger cooked food menu good for mixed group. Didn't order the saucy fusion sushi, but some will enjoy the presentation. Chirashi was large with right amount of rice. Ramen is more Chinese style but can ask for fewer topping. read more

This is probably some of the best sushi I had. I ordered take out and it was super easy and they were ready by the time I chose my pick-up. They individually packaged the sauces so nothing would get messy and the fish tasted fresh. I highly recommend this place. It looks a little sketchy on the outside but 100% worth it! read more

This restaurant is so overrated. Every dish is mediocre, and the price is extremely expensive. The service was horrible and probably the most unfriendly and worst I've ever experienced. I was up from Portland on business and met up with friends from Oak Harbor. We found this place via Yelp and I have to say, was overly pleased on the ambiance, service, menu and the food! I'm usually one of those guys that takes photos of everything, but I was so impressed with the plating and amount of food, we just dug right in! Reasonably priced and I felt like I was in dt Seattle without the prices. Wish these people only the best and will definitely be back when I'm in town! read more

The beef ribs were flavorful, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. I couldn't ask for anything more. The mac salad was good, it didn't taste like the mayo was too heavy for me. It tasted nice and light. And I had a couple bites of the Chicken BBQ, it was just as delicious as the beef ribs. Also the portion size was amazing. I think I'm a little partial, but the Beef BBQ Ribs definitely altered my brain chemistry. They were that delicious and I'll be thinking about these ribs for a long time. It felt like I was back home at a Filipino barbecue or I was in Hawaii eating at an uncle's backyard. It truly felt like the meat was grilling out in the back and we ate it fresh out the grill. It was absolutely wonderful and I'll be raving about this place to people for a while. Y'all deserve all the stars and love. And the music playing? Loved it, they were already on my island music playlist lol. We had an unforgettable experience. This place is a must try if you're in the area and even if you're not in the area as well. It's just that good.

HH review In short…read moreGreat design in a very welcoming space. Food might be under-seasoned to some people, but it's very well executed...and you can always add salsa. Great bar program, too. In long Previously, my biggest complaint with coming here was the total lack of parking every time I have tried. They obviously have no trouble getting the crowds in here. Today we scored some free time in the mid-afternoon, and their HH starts at 3:00 every day. We did go off the HH menu for 3 items, which ended up being worth it. You can't help but notice the buildout here. Pretty lights, interesting patterns or murals on almost every wall, lots of cool detail to the finishes everywhere you look. They even have yon selfie wall next to the washrooms (they took down a much bigger one). The bar has a couple flatscreens showing the game, but I'd probably not come here specifically to pay attention to a ballgame. At regular price, we got an awesome plate of chunky guac which I'd put against guac anywhere around here, at least that I've tried. At $15, it was almost a buck a bite, but, man, it was tasty. The bean dip had a great creamy consistency and mixed well with all the other condiments. We also got a muddled fruit cocktail from the regular menu, which was also excellent. The ceviche isn't a huge portion, and not overloaded with shrimp, but, hey, it's HH, and it's super fresh and tasty. The street tacos had awesome grilled flavor on the chicken, and the salsa served with them was fresh and excellent. We got 2 other salsas with our chips; the table salsa is nice but mild on the heat. The habanero salsa was a little too runny to get much on a plain chip, but it had great flavor and kick. Everything tasted really fresh and added plenty of seasoning to whatever was on the table. This is definitely a good place to mash up your salsas and dips and see what you concoct. The street corn was delicious. Such a perfect HH food--easy for the kitchen, but tons of flavor, and they nail the presentation. Corn tasted really sweet and crunchy even though you know they get it frozen. I'd get it again any time. For 3 apps, 2 dips, and 2 cocktails, we were under $90 before tip. Not too bad, especially since we went off the HH menu for stuff. This place is definitely in the rotation.

I love this place, it has very awesome ramen, tastiest ramen ever! I recommend ramen lovers to go to this place... Tasty! They also have great tempura! Very good service also, super fast, it takes them 1/2 - 2 minutes to make my "Miso Ramen" it's not TOO spicy, it's just right for me! ! Beautiful geisha dolls too! They have super cool Windows, on the inside it is clear, and on the outside you see a geisha! I love the tsunami painting that covers the kitchen. Make sure to try those yummy candies after you eat! Truly a hidden gem. I am very suspicious of strip mall sushi so I had very low expectations. After ordering the Rainbow Roll and Evergreen Roll, I was pleasantly surprised. I have been back many times and have never been disappointed. Oh, and the miso soup is amazing. read more
