    We had dinner at HK dim sum located in Aurora. This place is one of the place we go to for very good food and Dim Sum. Also my mom goes there once a week with her family's. We ordered lots of food and also they have dim sum all day long. I do recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a good place to eat.

    Feel like the 3 star is a little low. Overall for a dim place in Seattle this is not a bad place. The flavor profile is all there. The dishes are fresh and don't feel like they have been sitting for a while. Really love the duck here. Probably one of the best roast duck in Seattle (I know that's not saying much but you got to keep searching for good duck.) The service is actually really good. They are really attentive and will get you whatever you need. I would say the place can get a little cramped with the spacing of the tables but less wait and easier parking. I think it is a place to check out!

    Not my first time here but it's been a while. I'm here for a takeout of whole roasted duck. This is the best place in my opinion to get roasted duck. Taste is so clean. Not oily. Not too fatty. Really good. They chop it up for you. And comes with small containers of plum sauce. Service is quick. You order from a counter as you enter and they ring you up. There is a wide variety of roasted and barbecue items that are really good too. There are some dimsum items to can order too. Place is kinda busy with so many things you see and bump into as you enter.

    This is easily one of the best dim sum spots in the Seattle area. It is perfect for family-style dinner gatherings because every classic dish is consistently delicious. We particularly love their BBQ pork, roasted duck, chicken feet, seafood pan-fried chow mein, Mongolian beef, and honey walnut shrimp. The food is not overly oily, which we appreciate. While the service is just okay due to how busy they stay, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

    We came in for a sit down experience. It was on a busy Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was packed, with a growing line. We had to wait about thirty minutes for a table. We weren't able to get a table to ourselves because it was just the two of us, so we had to hate a large circle table with another couple across from us, which was fine because they were far enough from us that our dishes didn't touch. We ordered the chicken feet, green beans, roast pork, shrimp har gow, shu mai , as well as a couple more dim sum options. They were all delicious. I can't believe how delicious the chicken feet were. Very tender and flavorful. The restaurant was a little chaotic but the food was well worth it .

    The Hong Kong / Cantonese food & dim sum made to order (NO cart) here is excellent. I come for the char siu (barbecue pork), siu yuk (roast pork) , & roast duck by the # for takeout. They have Peking Duck too. They now have hot pot tables. Everything is baked fresh here. They have LIVE seafood (crab, lobster, eel, tilapia, ling cod) tank, better than fresh.

    Best dimsum I've had in a while! Chicken feet is bomb, fried shrimp dimsum, shiumai, and fried pork dumplings also so good. Cheongfan's skin was a little too thick but everything else is good. Service 10/10

    This place is so underrated. Perhaps the dining experience here impacts some reviews, but as far as the food goes (I've only taken food out from here about a million times), it never disappoints. Some of my faves are the green beans, steamed ginger chicken, honey pork ribs (omg!), salt and pepper squid, and seafood stir fry. Always fresh, flavorful, and servings are generous.

    Excellent service. If you go off hours they will steam what you want. Can buy frozen versions of their products for storing in freezer then steam at home. Better version than 99ranch. Better quality ingredients. Extensive menu. They can make items not on menu like steamed eggs with bitter melon. Dim sum tastes handmade. Most of the commercial dim sum restaurants buy from a limited set of wholesalers who use lower cost seafood and automate the process with machines. They have beef tendon with it's own price category. Never seen this in a dim sum restaurant. There is a proliferation of northern style chinese dumplings which are different than HK style southern dim sum. Northern style are like potstickers but boiled with slightly chewy wrapper and juicy filling. Can get those; they aren't on the menu. They made a batch while waiting.

    I wouldn't say I'm a dim sum expert, but I can definitely say I've had better. Food is hit or miss, nothing really in between. Menu items are limited. Service is fine.

    I might be the dumb person around when come to Chinese food, because I have no ideal how to read Chinese or what is real Chinese food. The speak a lot Chinese to other people and the bill comes in Chinese but the menu is in both Chinese and English, they give you tea and they have live lobster and fish and crab in their tanks for you to chose. I guess that what you call sea food, ( get it you see food). Food came out hot, menu was massive btw thank god for the fork, I'm a novice with chopsticks but eating rice and was making me sooo hungry. There was plenty of leftovers to take home and service was fast, lucky I stop at 5 or so items it was a good meal, but I think it would take at least 30 or so visits to get through most of the menu

Unfortunately, this visit was overshadowed by a frustrating service experience that took away from what could have been an enjoyable meal. Ambiance - 4/5 The restaurant maintains its familiar modern-casual atmosphere: lively, efficient, and designed for quick turnover. Despite the busy environment, the space remains relatively comfortable and clean, making it an easy spot for casual group dining. Authenticity - 4/5 The menu reflects classic Northern Chinese comfort dishes and Taiwanese-inspired small plates fairly well. The xiao long bao and noodles still capture the approachable flavors that made Dough Zone popular in the first place. Flavor - 4/5 The food itself was enjoyable. The xiao long bao were flavorful with properly developed broth inside, and overall execution from the kitchen remained consistent. No complaints regarding the dishes themselves. However, what became frustrating was a conversation regarding the Dan Dan noodles. I asked whether the dish contained pork -- a perfectly reasonable question, especially considering authentic Sichuan-style Dan Dan noodles traditionally do contain minced pork. Instead of answering professionally, the waitress responded dismissively: "Since when does Dan Dan noodles have pork?" That response was both inaccurate and unnecessarily condescending, particularly toward a guest who clearly understands the cuisine. Service - 2/5 This is where the experience declined significantly. The waitress came across as rude, dismissive, and surprisingly uninformed about a very standard Chinese dish. Hospitality aside, basic menu knowledge should be expected. To their credit, the service lead attempted to recover the situation by comping one order of xiao long bao, which I appreciated as a gesture of accountability. Without that effort, this review would likely have been lower. Cost - 4/5 Dough Zone continues to offer good value for the quantity and quality of food. Pricing remains one of its strongest advantages, especially for group dining. Final Thoughts Dough Zone succeeds where many casual dumpling chains do: affordable, tasty food served quickly. But strong kitchens can only carry a restaurant so far when front-of-house hospitality breaks down. The food earned the 3 stars. The service nearly brought it down to 2.

You pay depending on how much you get; for example, one piece of siu mai is $1.30 each as of this writing. All other food items follow in a similar suit. We got the following: - Egg tart: my favorites though they have cookie crusts. I do prefer flaky crusts but the egg yolk has the right amount of sweet to balance the crust. - Siu mai: fresh and piping hot. Meat was also fresh and didn't have a weird aftertaste. - Green onion bun: each one is pretty big, and there's just enough green onions on them to distinguish between similar buns like the baked BBQ pork bun. - Sponge cake: didn't eat this myself but parents thought this was all right though a little too set. - Baked BBQ pork bun: my dad's favorite. BBQ pork is sweet and complements the bun itself. - Meat bun turnover (Shanghai pan-fried buns): I always like getting these in places like Din Tai Fung and Dough Zone. The ones here are even better, with a ton of filling in each bun and a nice crisp from the pan fry. A classic staple of Chinatown that serves awesome dim sum that edges out the competition pretty well considering dining in has gotten a lot more expensive lately! I see myself coming back a lot more, beyond the number of times I've gone here since high school, of course.

The prawns we got were also great, I really enjoyed the crunchy coating and extras that came with it. I really enjoyed the space and food, I will definitely be coming back!
