Snow Pea Chicken
Jane N.

The food was good. I don't know why it has such low reviews. But as a yelper, I decided to give them a shot. The fried rice was delicious! I don't usually order the snow pea chicken but it was okay. I suppose if one is used to Panda Express Chinese food, they may not like the food here. The restaurant inside was nice. I ordered takeout so I can't speak for the ambiance. The takeout service was fast and friendly. I would go back and try another dish.

This is the worst fried rice I've eaten in the past 5 years! How is this place even in business. It's connected to a bar, so the entire place reeks of alcohol and strong strong stomach of cigarette smoke. Even the rice taste like cigarette smoke. I had never gone here, but I was starving. Isn't that how it always goes?! This rice and the few pieces of meat is drier than a saltine cracker. No oil has touched it. It's desert dry. The places is smoggy from the cigarette smoke, it's old, dark and dated. You have been warned. That $20 down the drain for me. Please avoid this place.

Had a Friday dinner with a former workmate, satisfying our Chinese food cravings. Always enjoy black tea, though there was a stain in the cup--maybe lemon. Not a big deal. The restaurant was spacious with ample parking, but funny enough, we were the only ones there! After leaving, we discovered another room--it was a bar. Now we know where everyone was! Tried the house special soup; not as "special" as expected, just egg, shrimp, peas, and carrots, but still tasty. Followed by broccoli, mushroom, and the highlight--beef fried rice! The service is excellent, and they even help organize the leftovers we couldn't finish! A delightful evening that left both my tummy and mind happy.

Why is there a smell of raw sewage in the bathrooms? Others have mentioned the smell and it's been here for a while.

Phenomenal food and service! We are excited to return!…read more Comfortable, cozy, and inviting restaurant suitable for families and large groups. Service is friendly, kind, quick, and welcoming. We ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer which had the perfect crunch. For our main entrees we shared the duck, shrimp chow mein, and the dry-fried string beans. Everything was amazing. The best chow mein I've ever had to be honest. The dry-fried string beans were the star of the show as they were so flavorful and delicious! Such an amazing experience. Free and easy parking which matters to me and wonderful service! Also nearby the bus lines. The food was soooo good. I can't wait to try more of the menu. Definitely a nice date spot or family meal. I recommend and will be returning!

Since it was our first time, we ordered a lot, knowing we would have leftovers. Had the fried pork buns, the boiled beef and onion dumplings, the sesame balls, shumai steamed, orange chicken, chow mein, green beans and oil sticks. My oh my, what a feast and we brought home as much as we ate! I would say the winners were the beef and onion dumplings and the green beans (OMG I could have just ordered these and made a meal of them!)-- but other stand outs were the shumai, and the orange chicken. I think you can skip the oil sticks, (kind of bread like with out a lot of flavor), and would go with the hunan noodles instead of the chow main. The fried pork buns were doughy with out very much meat inside. All in all, a great place. Will definitely go back! It doesn't look as good as it is from the outside, large posters of food pretty much cover all the windows. Will dream about those green beans! LOL

We knew we wanted Chinese food so we made a point of trying more than 15 places before choosing here. The food was so fresh and delicious. We ordered several trays of food for the event along with other Western catered food. At the end of the event, the food from Asian Kitchen was completely gone while we still had other catered food left over. It was clearly a hit. So much so that one of the attendees ended up ordering catering from here for one of their events and we are also ordering catering from them for another upcoming event. We have been so impressed with the quality that we have made special trips out to Asian Kitchen to eat and we live more than 45min away. It has been fantastic every time. Check out the Orange Chicken. It is one of the best we've ever had. That said, everything we've had has been amazing so I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. :)

Hidden gem in Shoreline area!…read more Very good Chinese homestyle cooking. My favorites are their underrated Orange Chicken (for real, they use orange skins to make this, this is not your typical orange chicken, very special!) and beef chow fun (you can really taste the char!). The owner is extremely nice! She is from Hainan and makes a very good & authentic Hainan Chicken Rice upon request! Bonus: Very friendly in terms of adjusting the ingredients of the food, for example you can request no MSG, using white meats only, etc etc.

Legend has it that tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived by eating raw meat and…read moredrinking blood. One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

We drove pass by it a lit if time and we finally tried it since we lived the similar restaurant in Pirtland and we were not disappointed at all. The skewers came with variety if flavor, not just the same seasoning for all. The variety if skewers were all also very interesting and amazing. Service is very attentive and skewers came out in waves which is perfect. Super recommend this restaurant if you love skewers.
