The large hanging flowers outside and people seating having ice cream and burgers was appealing to me, since we just got off the Durango train. We have two hours here, to have lunch and shop and I was hungry. When we went in to order our food, many train customers were already lining up to order. I just found seats in a shady spot, outside, and decided to take that. The service was quicker than expected, knowing how crowded they were. Hubby's Chili Cheese Dog was really good and I got extra mustard on my hamburger. They were the best we've had in a long long time! Negative: Since the restrooms were shared by the ice cream shop, there's a line. One lady, who was twice bigger than me, was having problem getting dressed, because the stalls were as big as being inside a Honey Bucket, if you know what I mean? She was apologizing to us, how difficult it was to . . . they need to do some remodeling here. That's all I can say! read more

Go anywhere else. I was starving and could not finish my burger. Cheap thin frozen burgers half-heartedly warmed up. It tastes cheaper than the price. Insulting to serve to hardworking Americans on their family vacation. read more

Cute little place in Silverton. Burgers were decent and so were the fries. Just a quick note this is not McDonald's so expect a wait for your food. I gave three stars basically because the food could be better. But the staff was on point and polite. This a quick place to pop in from where the train lets you off just note that it takes them a bit to get you, your food when they have several orders to fill. read more

Service was friendly and prompt, staff cheerful. But it's not the place if you're expecting a good burger. These are clearly frozen, out of the bulk grocery store bag, cheap and tasteless burgers. read more

Burger $10, order fries $4.50, small coke $3.95, plus a tip, plus 10.4% tax, $23.36 for one person. Waited 20 minutes for food, it appeared only one person working in the kitchen. Burger was subpar and cold. Don't waste you money, eat when you return to Durango read more

Great friendly service here. I didn't have cell-service and I really wanted to look this place up before ordering from them but couldn't. The Buffalo burger took way too long and it was extremely subpar for the $15 price tag, I've had better cafeteria food unfortunately, honestly even Burger King is better... read more

High Noon Drive In - Buffalo Burger - Restaurants Near Me - Silverton, Colorado

I imagine a lot of Silverton, Colorado survives on the Durango & Silverton railroad. After 3.5 hours riding the train from Durango, pretty much everything by the depot are restaurants. They didn't have a big line, so I stopped in here without looking at Yelp first. Other reviews are pretty spot on. The staff was five star to me. Unfortunately, that was really the only good thing that stood out. It took 25 minutes for my cheeseburger and fries. Too be honest, the best way for me to describe the food was an elementary school lunch. I think the photo captures that. The location was ideal because it was across from the train depot, but there was nothing memorable enough to either bring me back or recommend. read more

High Noon Drive In - 25 minute cheeseburger and fries. - Restaurants Near Me - Silverton, Colorado

Too pricey for what it offers. $19 got us a pretty basic cheeseburger and a soda. Assumed that the $12 burger would include a side of fries. The food was fine but it's priced way above what it is. Inflation must have hit pretty hard. read more

Stopped here after the Durango Silverton train ride. Ordered the cheeseburger and fries. They were good. Service was good.

Dry and overcooked burger. It was windy outside so chose indoor seating and the wind just blew thru the open doors at each end. read more

The ice cream was sooooo good really!!!! Really good I love it and the burgers people say it's cafeteria food but try the buffalo burger with green Chile it was great maybe I was just hungry but I'll agree with others it is a tad overpriced. read more

The only place in Silverton that had huckleberry ice cream...and it was delicious!! A high school student waited on us. She was pleasant and professional. Expensive and I didn't expect much but to our surprise it was darn good. Cheeseburgers, chili cheese fries onion rings were all good. Nice people too read more

The food tasted fine but it cost $70 for a family of four to eat hamburgers & french fries. I would have known better if I had looked at reviews first but it was a spur of the moment decision. Lesson learned! read more

The place had decent cheeseburgers and better buffalo burgers. They have a limited menu. Place the order, pay for it and your food comes out a few min later. The service window is only a couple hours (according to one of the employees there). They have it down to a science. The food quality is not the greatest but it does taste like a backyard hamburger. The staff is somewhat friendly but need to take some happy pills! read more

Best place to view the trains while refreshing on a creamy cold cone! Don't miss the gunfights!

Great service. Good food. Homemade chili to warm your insides on a cold day. Chicken strips and French fries (A kid staple) Burgers and Hot dogs. Been going here for 25 years. They even have an ice cream counter at the end of the restaurant. Shakes/Malts/Waffle Cones/Toppings. Family friendly and family ran. You will feel at home. read more

Went there recently. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Took FOREVER to get it, but worse than that, when I bit into it, I thought I was eating a piece of cardboard that had been microwaved 2-3 times. I opened up the bun to find a stale, disgusting slab of something that didn't look like chicken at all. No extras, no seasoning, nothing...but a poor excuse for a rotten sandwich. Fries were cold by the time my number was called. HORRIBLE place, and obviously no care in preparing their food, except some microwave in the back. read more

While traveling home from our engagement anniversary trip to Ouray Colorado, we found probably one of the cutest towns I've ever seen -Silverton, Colorado! Within the town was a western themed burger joint called High Noon Burgers. It's a busy place, with a very efficient staff. It serves your basic burgers and dogs with sides, nothing too fancy. They know how to do simple just right though! I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and my sweetheart ordered the double cheeseburger and onion rings. We both thought our burgers were well made. The buns didn't fall apart in our hands! That was worth double kudos right there. There's nothing worse than a great tasting burger that disintegrates half way through eating. The fries and onion rings were nice and crispy, plus there were free refills on the drinks. They also sell icecream, but we were too full from the burgers to partake. One of the best things about the place was the fact that the narrow gauge railrood that stops nearly right outside the door. We both love trains, so that was a great perk. It was a simple place, but the great attitude of the crew, and the awesome companionship of the most wonderful man in the world made it a really great place to visit! I recommend it. read more

This hamburger joint is just what we needed when visiting. There is a ice cream parlor attached which was perfect after eating our meal. The service is friendly and food was quick, tables were clean quickly after being used. Little on the expensive side but mind you it's in a tourist spot. read more

Not worth it. Over priced for boiled hot dogs and frozen burger patty's. Only draw was our kids wanted to see the train come and go.

Good garden burger make sure you mention make it a combo to not get itemized on everything.

Awful! Overpriced! I read the yelp reviews too late this time. The main driving force behind this review is the salad they had the audacity to serve me and charge me $7 for. I get better , and cheaper, salads from fast food restaurants. I have actually never had a salad this bad. It was maybe a half of a cup of ice berg lettuce in a tiny paper tray with a bunch of Colby jack pizza cheese and a mushy tomato slice. It looked like a side item you would give someone who had tacos. They should be embarrassed. My husband said his hamburger was awful too. Save your appetite, hard earned money and go to the local pizza place further down ( I forgot the name of it , sorry). We went there the first night and it was good pizza. We should have went back there instead. Don't make our mistake. read more

Overpriced and low quality food. 12$ for a single burger with large soda. Burger is what you'd expect from a school cafeteria and was very thin. read more

This place was good! Had the green Chile cheeseburger with fries. About 20+ of us came in for lunch and they all handled the rush really well. Would definitely recommend! read more

Loved the burgers and fries and peach ice cream. We forgot our diaper bag. The owner was super sweet and mailed it back to us in AZ after taking out all of the spoiled food. Thanks again! read more

Is this place a joke? We drove to Silverton to meet friends who were coming off the Durango/Silverton train. The guide on the train told everbuddy to avoid places near the station. As we weren't on the train we didn't get the memo. Burger way overcooked, burned on edges. Dry. Flavorless.Toppings were the absolute bare minimum. Emma Stone look alike who took my order and the other gal behind the counter were good plus the average fries make this joint worth one *. The burger was worthless. read more

Tourist trap! I ended up eating with them in July as the Durango train let's off right diagonally across from their location. The bun was toasted hard, the burger was crunchy, toppings were mediocre. Fries were crummy! 2 burgers, 2 fries, worth maybe 10$, paid 5guys prices and did not get a 5guys quality burger. It is gross at the High Noon Drive-in. Drive in, REALLY? There is no place to park, stop doing what you have to in the name of trendy, it's gross and you're ripping people off. read more

We wanted to pick a place that didn't look too crowded on the 4th, we thought we lucked out and found this place. What. A. Total. Disappointment. Don't bother going here. Over cooked hamburgers, hard as rocks buns which could be used as a Frisbee instead. Fries were stale and tasted like they were made the previous day and then reheated. Horrible service. There is a reason this place isn't busy, and it's called yuck. read more

This is a wonderful little burger joint. My husband and I got the soup and chili and we found it absolutely delicious! If you get the chance to try it, definitely do so! It was also a great quick bite to eat and gave us more time to explore the little town before getting back on the train. The service was also wonderful, the little blonde gal behind the counter was such a sweetheart and told us all about life living in Silverton! A simple and fun family owned and run restaurant. Next time we are in Silverton we will definitely be coming back! read more

I don't recommend people stopping here. Definitely a tourist trap. Food isn't good at all and it's really expensive. Only good thing is the blondey with no bra lol read more

Sweet place. Yummy burger and fries. Ice cream was very reasonably priced.

Blah...when they say stay away from eateries close to the train depot, they were right. Stick to main street. Made the mistake of trying this place. Well over priced for sub par food. Another place where they run out of soda...cardinal sin. read more

Went in with my parents and family and made the mistake of saying something about the current administration and the old man behind the counter lost his mind and began to scream and argue with me!! Clearly he did not agree with my PRIVATE conversation I was having and continued to yell at me. I don't know if he was the owner or an employee. He became red faced and screamed at me and told me to leave the restaurant!! I will NEVER spend my hard earned money at this crazy guys place and encourage everyone else not to either!!! What happened to the customer is always right? I guess he has enough money and customers that he can talk to his customers any way he wants!! Don't waste your money!!!!!!!!!!! read more
