Just found this place and it's a great find. Upstairs of a hotel in FIDI, this place got a good amount of indoor seatings. I went when it's cold so their rooftop isn't open. They've got table seatings with happy hour 4 till 7pm mon-wed, 4-6pm thur-fri, and bar seatings is happy hour whole day weekdays. Their happy hour menu doesn't have a huge variety but got some great selections. We had a passion fruit margarita, Amstel beers and some of their boneless chicken wings. Drinks and food were both great. The chicken wings seemed more like nuggets but had a really good batter and was fried nicely, fingers weren't really greasy. So good we ordered another one. There was only one bartender taking our orders so it took a while to place our order since he was really busy but he was super kind and attentive, kept refilling our waters when it got low. This is a great place to wind down whether you just want some food and drinks on you're own after work or if you got a small party to chat with, volume is not too loud. They also had one large table so all good if you're a big group too. I will think their rooftop will be able to seat even more big groups but will come back and find out next time! Great find!

Hide Rooftop is located on John St. w/ in the Artezen Hotel in Manhattan. It is accessible via public transportation that includes the A,C,E,J,Z,4,5 trains to Fulton St. & the R, W trains to Cortlandt St. near World Trade Ctr. HIde Rooftop is on the 20th Fl. which is accessible via elevators towards the back of the Artezen Hotel Lobby. Artezen Hotel Staffperson Diana is nice & gave us warm greetings in the hotel lobby during a few of our visits before we headed to upstairs to the rooftop. Hide Rooftop has 2 Fl.'s - We have been here several times & enjoyed the food, customer service, cocktails, & gorgeous rooftop views. Hide Rooftop gives a chic "Miami-esque" lounge Vibe w/ the music, decor & overall aesthetic. Happy Hour is Mon. - Fri. - 4pm - 6pm. We have enjoyed Happy Hour everytime we have visited thus far. It includes Classic Margarita ($12) & Coffee Martini Cocktails ($12), & Select Wine ($10) & Select Beer ($6). Happy Hour Bites include Boneless Wings ($10) & Margherita Pizza ($12). We have had both food items as well as cocktails multiple times - everything is consistently delicious. The select dipping sauces pair well w/ the Boneless Wings. Bartenders Amber & Taji are amazing! They make well-prepared cocktails & provide lovely service w / good energy, which is appreciated. Amber is kind & attentive & makes everyone feel welcomed at the bar area. Thanks Amber! hiderooftop.com @hiderooftop

This rooftop is such a local gem! For locals working in the area or those staying in the hotel. It is located on the 20th floor. Everyone is so nice and attentive. Happy hour is all night at bar!

I went here with my girlfriends to celebrate our 30th birthday party & this place had accommodated us well. The only thing is we had initially requested & reserved a table upstairs but were not informed that there was a private party there. However, albeit they could no longer accommodate us upstairs, our waitress Gianna was lovely and talked to the manager & got us a cute booth-type seat on the first floor. We didn't feel rushed whatsoever albeit the place was getting busier as it was a Friday night & enjoyed the food & drinks (albeit the drinks could've definitely been stronger). Margarita Pizza- average but not bad. Spinach Artichoke Dip- great but granted it's hard to mess this up. Assorted Sushi Rolls- again, average. Burger Sliders- quite tasty & cooked at the right temperature. Pommes Frites- how can someone hate fries? The garlic mayo complemented it well too. All in all, Hide Rooftop is a cute spot for a girls night/date. Do keep in mind though that there is not an outside section of the rooftop albeit pictures might seem to indicate otherwise.

Hide rooftop was a happy medium this past weekend as it was rainy and it is an indoor rooftop, giving the feel of being outside yet staying dry. The windows are floor to ceiling and there is amazing views of downtown including the Freedom tower. We had a reservation and arrived ten minutes early and the hostess sat us right away. We were especially pleased as we were sat at a couch so both of us could face the window. Dirty martini was on point. Tried one of the speciality cocktails Pretty in Profit which had a nice sweet ice creamy flavor. Got boneless buffalo wings and fries to munch on. Both were good and the mayo that came with the fries was epic.

This rooftop has a great happy hour of tasty drinks and some bites. I went here after work with colleagues. It's an enclosed rooftop of a hotel and very popular so make a reservation. And sometimes your reservation is only good for an hour or two so be mindful. The food was good but very bar basic. Boneless chicken bites, really good French fries, nice spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips. My classic marg from hh was strong and I'll of the drinks were super cute. They have a really nice bar, the staff is attentive and friendly and the vibes are chill. Enjoy!

Hide Rooftop has an amazing view of the NYC skyline. There were plenty picture perfect spaces for memorable shots, servers were attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. The menu consists of mostly small plates/appetizers. The food was good and we especially enjoyed the chips and dip. My only suggestion is that they add bone- in wings to the menu.

Came here on a Wednesday for happy hour...(4-7pm) Hostess was not in front when we arrived. No worries we sat ourselves at the bar, bartender Amber was very pleasant which we appreciated. Had the vegan pizza which was good, coworker had the happy hour wings. Our drinks were delish we had a few rounds, vibe was busy and chatting, it was smaller than I expected. Second floor was closed for a private reservation. It's not an open rooftop more of a sky view if that makes sense. Located on the 20th floor of the hotel. Enjoyed our time at Hide. It was cute, loved the decore of the place, bathrooms were clean & gender neutral. Enjoy!!!

Checked out this rooftop on a Friday evening. Made a reservation for 6:30pm so we had about a half hour of happy hour left that we took advantage of. We got the wings and coffee martini (on happy hour) as well as the pizza and lobster rolls. Pizza was good but a little salty, I didn't enjoy the lobster roll so I'd skip it next time. But the boneless wings were good! Despite them looking a little dry they were hot and juicy. Coffee martini was good and strong, I'll definitely be back for that! Service was friendly and attentive. This place is so cute and has nice views. It's an enclosed rooftop which I like because the temperature was perfect. Music was ok for the after work crowd.

This has become one of my favorite places. I've been here a few other times, one being love love day, and it still had the same vibe this past Friday...super chill and groovey. This past Friday, I was celebrating the beginning of summer break...trust me a celebration is always needed lol. I made 615 reservs, and my people, as always, are time challenged. However, they made it within the grace period, and we were taken to our table. We had 30 mins for HH, so we ordered the pizza and boneless wings off that menu...and of course fries. Unfortunately, none of us wanted the HH drinks but had great cocktails. The Hidden Elegance was a table fav. Then we switched to gin gimlets. Our waiter was kept checking up on us. He was great, especially when the shots came! We literally closed the place down, just catching up, enjoying the view, and of course celebrating my summer break. LOL. I will definitely be back in between my summer travels.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

Defiantly make a reservation for this one but you might get lucky to just walk in. Super stunning atmosphere and took amazing photos inside. Drinks where fabulous and a great wine selection. I would recommend their lobster ravioli and we shared their tuna tartar. Good idea to get to this place early as service was a bit slower. We waited 25 minuets for our second round of drinks and ultimately had to cancel them as we had our show to attend.

SMALL, and tight. The restaurant decoration is superb, which earn the extra star. The only thing I have a positive about. Restaurant is filled with flowers and very festive, a great place for pictures but not sure if that is possible since everyone is on top of each other. Service - Lacking and unattentive - waited a period of time for the main waitress to approach. No eye contact, so a bit hard to get their attention /service. The helper was friendlier but unable to help, attempt to move us to a bigger table next to us, but the main waitress came and told us it was reserved, so we were denied- thought it was reserved for a bigger party, but it was reserved for 2 ppl too. The waitress can exchange the table for us before the reservation ppl arrive but choose not too, customer service was definitely lacking. Especially the restuarant was not that busy (they had time standing around). Food - we ordered the afternoon tea set for each person. the setting was presentable, it taken alot of space on the table but it was just regular egg, salmon and cucumber sandwich, scones, macarons, and some other sweets with berries and grapes nothing special about it, no signature monologs or any specialty. The tea pot set was pretty but the tea bag were regular tea bag, there is no hot water refill once you finished, need to pay $10 extra for new tea pot. Starbucks coffee is cheaper!
