Just found this place and it's a great find. Upstairs of a hotel in FIDI, this place got a good amount of indoor seatings. I went when it's cold so their rooftop isn't open. They've got table seatings with happy hour 4 till 7pm mon-wed, 4-6pm thur-fri, and bar seatings is happy hour whole day weekdays. Their happy hour menu doesn't have a huge variety but got some great selections. We had a passion fruit margarita, Amstel beers and some of their boneless chicken wings. Drinks and food were both great. The chicken wings seemed more like nuggets but had a really good batter and was fried nicely, fingers weren't really greasy. So good we ordered another one. There was only one bartender taking our orders so it took a while to place our order since he was really busy but he was super kind and attentive, kept refilling our waters when it got low. This is a great place to wind down whether you just want some food and drinks on you're own after work or if you got a small party to chat with, volume is not too loud. They also had one large table so all good if you're a big group too. I will think their rooftop will be able to seat even more big groups but will come back and find out next time! I went here with my girlfriends to celebrate our 30th birthday party & this place had accommodated us well. The only thing is we had initially requested & reserved a table upstairs but were not informed that there was a private party there. However, albeit they could no longer accommodate us upstairs, our waitress Gianna was lovely and talked to the manager & got us a cute booth-type seat on the first floor. We didn't feel rushed whatsoever albeit the place was getting busier as it was a Friday night & enjoyed the food & drinks (albeit the drinks could've definitely been stronger). Margarita Pizza- average but not bad. Spinach Artichoke Dip- great but granted it's hard to mess this up. Assorted Sushi Rolls- again, average. Burger Sliders- quite tasty & cooked at the right temperature. Pommes Frites- how can someone hate fries? The garlic mayo complemented it well too. Hide rooftop was a happy medium this past weekend as it was rainy and it is an indoor rooftop, giving the feel of being outside yet staying dry. The windows are floor to ceiling and there is amazing views of downtown including the Freedom tower. We had a reservation and arrived ten minutes early and the hostess sat us right away. We were especially pleased as we were sat at a couch so both of us could face the window. Dirty martini was on point. Tried one of the speciality cocktails Pretty in Profit which had a nice sweet ice creamy flavor. Got boneless buffalo wings and fries to munch on. This rooftop has a great happy hour of tasty drinks and some bites. I went here after work with colleagues. It's an enclosed rooftop of a hotel and very popular so make a reservation. And sometimes your reservation is only good for an hour or two so be mindful. The food was good but very bar basic. Boneless chicken bites, really good French fries, nice spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips. My classic marg from hh was strong and I'll of the drinks were super cute. Great views and a lovely place to grab a cocktail and a snack if you're staying in the hotel in the building. Service was great, and the bar snacks we ordered were good. One small complaint we had was the hours. During the time we stayed there, we either arrived after the bar closed, or we needed to drop in before they were open. Not a big deal, of course. Food is everywhere! But sometimes you just want to grab one nightcap in your hotel bar before retiring, or you want to do a quick bite to tide you over until you've made it through your Broadway show, for example. We worked around this, of course, but we would've liked to take advantage of this place more. And one tiny thing--we wish the menu was a little bit bigger. I think they're working with a small space, so I get it. Just tossing my wishes into the Universe! We got the wings and coffee martini (on happy hour) as well as the pizza and lobster rolls. Pizza was good but a little salty, I didn't enjoy the lobster roll so I'd skip it next time. Came here for a retirement party. Upon entering, we checked our coats in the lobby and were escorted upstairs to the event space. It was a cozy spot upstairs with ample seating with a private bathroom and small bar. This was for a private party so I'm sure this is a special package and not the standard but there were heavy passed appetizers like buffalo chicken empanadas, spinach and feta wrapped in phyllo, and other hot apps. They also served penne bolognese, pasta with a pink sauce, and a mixed green salad with raspberry vinaigrette. The staff were very attentive during open bar and handed out drinks, refilled drinks, often and were overall really great. The area is a bit desolate after business hours. Its close to public transportation and if you drive, there is a parking garage within walking distance. read more

This is a newer rooftop bar located in the Financial District. It is located on the top two floors of the Artezen Hotel. Having just recently opened, the bar looks very elegant and beautiful. Because of its location, it was not crowded and seems to cater to the after work professional crowd rather than the younger casual crowd that places like 230 Fifth get. We tried several drinks and they were all reasonably priced and strong. The food menu is your typical bar food. Found this rooftop bar in search of rooftop views in the Financial District. We stumbled onto Hide Rooftop, which is a rooftop bar at a hotel. The vibe is very casual, and it definitely feels more intimate than other rooftop bars I've been to in New York. It's good for having a conversation with a date or with some friends. The bar is split into 2 levels. I'll have to warn - the views aren't exactly what you'd expect at a rooftop bar - you may be able to snag a picture or 2, but definitely not the view of a skyline of New York as you may wish. We ordered a few rounds of drinks - notable mentions were the smoked old fashioned, Hidden elegance, and espresso martini. The service here is impeccable as well; a few drinks were a bit too sweet for us, and the staff gladly poured more alcohol into the drink to dilute it a bit. We had such a great time here and definitely over-indulged. I think we ordered 13-14 drinks, and the bill came out to almost $400 after tax and tip. I don't think it was outrageous, but it creeps up on you when you're having a good time here! read more

This is actually a lovely spot. The second floor of the space has amazing views. The service is really good as well. The bartender, host, and even our waiter were super nice. Even the food was delicious. My only issue was with the meal I had ordered. On their menu they have chicken wings. These wings are listed as having different flavors. I ordered the BBQ wings, but what I was given was plain wings with a side of hot sauce. I was really confused by this. That's when the waiter told me that the chicken is always plain and that the sauces are served on the side. They mistakenly gave me hot sauce instead of the BBQ sauce. They fixed the error though. But just FYI if you order the wings, know that they are plain. Also, I know they don't look very appealing, haha but they were actually yWe also ordered the : Mini Lobster Rolls, Chicken Satay, and Burger Sliders.
