While there is outdoor seating along the front, the real gem is the beautiful courtyard tucked away in the back. It feels surprisingly peaceful considering you're right in Manhattan. The food was excellent from start to finish, but the bread deserves special recognition. My humans couldn't stop talking about it. There isn't a dog menu, but I was fortunate enough to receive a few bites from Mom's Eggs Benedict, which I can personally confirm were delicious. If you're looking for a beautiful brunch or lunch spot near the High Line with great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and one of the most charming courtyards in the neighborhood, Wildflower is well worth a visit. Dogba's verdict: Beautiful courtyard, incredible bread, excellent people-watching, and bonus points for supporting Chelsea FC.

When you walk in, there's a room with tables on the right, we sat at a high top by the bar on the left. We started off with cocktails and spilt a Spinach Dip appetizer. For entrees, my wife and daughter had the Avocado Toast, I had the Stuffed French Toast. The French Toast was one of the best I've had! Caramelized Bananas Foster with a chocolate drizzle and whipped cream on top. Just decadent! This is a great spot for a good meal or even just a drink, the bar is very nice!

Luckily, I managed to get a table by the window. The burger looked even better than it did in the menu photo! A thick, juicy patty on a soft brioche bun, with fresh veggies--it was exactly what I was craving. I think this is the kind of place that's best for a late brunch or an early afternoon meal. I'd definitely come back to try the Niçoise salad next time.

Instead, I received a rubbery duck leg with no skin (the crispy skin is the best part of the confit IMHO.) It was so tough I struggled to cut it with a steak knife but what makes it unforgivable was that it was bland and unseasoned. The fruit that accompanied the duck confit leg would have provided balance to a real duck confit but because the LouLou version seemed to have no salt, it only made the dish blandly sweet. I then reached out to the restaurant directly because I don't like leaving negative reviews and want to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I dined there on a Monday and received an auto-reply that someone would get back to me usually within 1 business day. It is Friday and I am still waiting to hear back. Sadly, I suspect they won't acknowledge their error. I know what duck confit tastes like having enjoyed it in restaurants in Paris and San Francisco many times. I also make it at home -- I buy it from Fatted Calf and crisp it up at home and it is marvelous. This was a misstep in the food arena. Ignoring my message to them was a misstep in the hospitality arena and restaurants are, indeed, in the hospitality, business. I won't be back and am writing this so that you won't have to experience what I learned the proverbial hard way. LouLou, hope you are listening and will make improvements.

While the dim lighting and intimate atmosphere practically beg for a secret rendezvous (there's an ostrich involved), I met up with a friend for the decidedly unscandalous purpose of doing our intention setting for the year over libations and nibbles. I opted for a pastel sour while my companion asked for a drink called The Last Word - it was no longer on the menu but they obligingly made it for us anyway. The menu consists of mostly small plates and is seafood forward, but we shared a petite dish of steak frites, tender and cooked perfectly medium rare. Our server was very sweet but service was slow on the night, and by the time we received our utensils the food was cold. However we were not rushed and were able to linger a bit to finish our conversation. I saw them toasting each marshmallow with a blow torch, can only really respect the dedication. the drink was pretty solid, more chocolatey coconuty than deep espresso. - the cornstar martini is basically a pornstar martini and does not lean too hard into the corn for flavor (I think it's a good thing) but comes on a plate of truffle popcorn. very fun! - service was perfectly attentive, no complaints there

My friend and I decided to stop in for happy hour as it seemed to be a good option. We were greeted by the bartender who was very kind and took our order right away. We ordered the Cornstar martini , which was extremely tiny. However, the drink was crafted very well and tasted great. In addition we ordered oysters, chicken nuggets, and wagyu sliders, which we were shortly told they were out of oysters. The martini was indeed tiny as 'tiny' was noted on the menu however you are better off ordering a regular sized drink for that price. Our food order took a significant amount of time to come and when it arrived it was all burnt. My friend and I took a few bites and it was not edible at all. Overall this is a great place for drinks but I would opt out of it for happy hour.

It sets the tone for what you expect to be a really special dining experience. The food, for the most part, absolutely delivered. Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful, well-presented, and clearly made with care. There was one small hiccup--one of our appetizers came out a bit cold--but it didn't take away too much from the overall quality. Aside from that, every dish was genuinely impressive. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server was absolutely amazing--attentive, kind, and on top of everything without ever feeling overbearing. They truly attended to our every need and made the experience feel seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. The drinks, however, were a letdown. For a place at this price point, you expect cocktails to match the level of the food and ambiance, but they just didn't. After trying two of their specialty cocktails, I wasn't impressed. I'll definitely be coming back for buisness dinners !

The restaurant does fill up, and you could end up waiting or not getting seated. The drinks: I highly recommend the $30 bottomless mimosas! They have a lot of different options to choose from, and my personal favorite was the lychee. The food: Delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. They have a great variety of options, from savory to sweet, and the portions are pretty generous. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant, which came with a salad, and everything was delicious. The view: BEAUTIFUL! You get an amazing view of Manhattan because the space is open enough to take in the scenery, but it's still covered, so you don't feel like you're sitting completely outdoors. It makes for such a nice dining experience. The service: Our service was good, and the host who greeted us was especially funny and energetic, which was a great way to start the experience. Even the security guard was super nice and helpful. Overall, this is a beautiful location with great food, drinks, views, and a fun atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking it out -- just remember to make that reservation first!

The Aroz Con Pollo is not what you think - it's not chicken nor rice, but rather a mushroom gnocchi type dish that is vegetarian and delicious.
