Wow! We decided to try this place on a lark and now I'm hoping they open one near me. The concept takes a few minutes of explanation for us newbies, then it was awesome. The lunch price is reasonable and includes a soft drink. I chose the Thai Yum soup base and it was phenomenal! Then you can order appetizers and meats to add to the pot from the iPad at your table. Then use the self-serve area for seafood, veggies, noodles, sauces, and more. This worked perfectly since my husband loves shellfish and I'm allergic. So we each had our own pot. This was one of my favorite meals! Anthony was so helpful and the decor is cute. Definitely will stop again when I'm driving through. read more

This place is probably as good as you can get in Ogden. Just drive to salt lake if you want hot pot. They ran out of soy sauce for the sauce bar. The waiter warned us of the heat level for their spicy broth and it was as mild as this year's winter. The meat selection and cold bar were minimal. Decent if you're craving hot pot and don't wanna drive to salt lake read more

*DO NOT COME HERE. PLASTIC FOUND ON MEAT.* I frequent this area for work as a solo traveler. I decided to deviate from Mr. Shabu and support locally.... Big mistake. If I could give 0 stars I would. Upon arrival, host was on her phone. Did not notice I walked in. I had to say hello for her to notice me. The restaurant was nearly empty during dinner time, which is slightly alarming. I was sat in the corner and the smell inside was unpleasant. Almost like a wet dog. I come from California, the land of many hot pot places. I enjoy a Herbal broth and when I went to order the waitress asked, "Are you sure?" Automatically, I was confused. I then settled for the mushroom due to previous reviews. The broth was extremely underwhelming. Bland food, not many options, and unsanitary practices. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and neither should you. You are better off making the drive to Mr. Shabu. It's hard to mess up hot pot, yet they managed to. read more

The food was fantastic. The snow crab was fantastic. The meat choices amazing. We had the chicken, brisket, wagyu and the pork belly. I would definitely order it all again. The sauce bar and recipes made the meats even better. The staff was very attentive and answered any and all questions. The open atmosphere and large booths made it so everyone was comfortable. We ate it all to fast to take a picture. Sorry, not sorry. read more

This place was amazing. The waiter Melisa was the best waiters I have ever had. She was great with the kids and gave them toys she paid for-make sure you ask for her if you go. The food was also great I got the mushroom soup and it was great. The ambiance was very modern and the tables were clean and had a marble look. Overall great restaurant. read more

Hey Hot Pot - Korean Near Me - Ogden, Utah

This was our first time trying hot pot and it was truly awful, almost inedible. The few broths we tasted were flavorless. You can tell they served the lowest quality meat and seafood they can get away with. The service wasn't great, the soda was flat, and the buffet didn't seem super hygienic. It was expensive! I will be surprised if this place stays in business and it's a shame that such a terrible restaurant replaced such a good one. The only things that were alright were the appetizers that were deep fried. read more

Service was great. The choice and cuts of meats were beyond what i expected. Fresh vegetables and other items. the reason for the 4 star is it is somewhat limited on any other choices other tha the hot pot. I would go back read more

All good ! Recommend and will definitely order the ramen and veggies again. Delicious. Service was good. The delivery could have been faster. Loved the food containers - very good quality. Remember yo add the utensils on your order for delivery. read more

I have been here twice so far and the food is amazingly fresh and delicious. I didn't mind the price per person do to the exceptional service and range of available items to cook in you broth right at your table. The staff is always available to help or answer questions on how everything works. I highly recommend read more

This was a great experience and worth the trip. our server, Melissa was super friendly and took time to explain the process and ensure we were set up for a great dinner. The mild spicy broth had a little kick and great flavor. The mushroom broth has deep flavor . There was a good well stocked selection of add ins for the hot pots. A good first experience at this restaurant and recommend giving it a try. The staff's as great from meeting at the door through the whole dinner. read more

Wow another great experience for me and my family! From the moment we entered the doors we were greeted with friendly and attentive service. We were quickly seated and welcomed by our server. She went over the options with us and how to use the iPad to order more meats. We ordered mushroom broth and the schezwan broth at mild level spice. All our broths were delicious! This is our second visit since Hey Hot Pot opened here and they have really improved the overall ambiance and feel of the cold bar to get your soup add ins. Lots of good options and very clean! Our server was a gem, and I am sad I forget her name because she deserves to be recognized for the excellent service she provided. Overall it was a wonderful dinner! We will be back again! read more

We enjoyed the lunch here and were very satisfied with the experience. I can understand why they bring the meats and appetizers from the kitchen upon order rather than at the buffet. The reason for the 4 rather than a 5 is because they need to add a few more vegetables to the buffet selection such as spinach, sprouts, snow peas, basil, celery, and baby bock choy. Be careful about ordering even the mild spiciness because it is rather "hot". I can not imagine who would eat the very spicy broth. The broths were tasty and overall a great experience. Highly recommend this great restaurant. Service was excellent. read more

Great food and great service! I have not been to many hot pot restaurants, so I don't have much to compare to, but I don't think you could go to any place better! I will be coming back again soon and bringing others with me. It looks like a great place to share a table with many people. Overall, I can not recommend this restaurant more! read more

Hey Hot Pot - Great lunch is about to begin! - Korean Near Me - Ogden, Utah

Smells incredible from the moment you walk the door. Food was delicious, staff was great.

Went to all you can eat Hot Pot at Hey! Hot Pot in Ogden. It was a fun meal and way more then we could eat. Everything was fresh and service was excellent. We all tried different things and no complaints other then it being a lot of food. We had 3 people reach with their own hot pot. The other option is a giant family style hot pot that still allows two different soup bases. The "salad bar" has all sorts of things to add to your soup including a nice variety of seafood, some veggies and some noodles. There's also a number of sauces and spices you can add. The order also included egg rolls and other appetizers that were tasty. There's a number of different soup bases to choose from and they'll refill as needed. There's also a large selection of meats to choose from. And you can get as many as you want. I'd recommend starting out with two different ones and see how it goes from there. It really is an experience and as delicious as the food is, it's just a fun way to have a meal. There is a 2 hour time limit but the service is fast so not an issue. They also serve Coke products. read more

This is literally the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was good, it was a really cool experience, and our waiter was super kind and just made my day better. 11/10, will come again. read more

The staff is kind, patient & bustling. Melissa was our server and she was so busy and stayed attentive. The food was delicious, all of it because we tried everything, except a weird meat ball that didn't cook well and tasted weird. The setting isn't chill or private but it's not over stimulating. They were also all great with our kids. read more

My husband and I make it our weekly date. The servers are nice so far! We haven't been rushed out and our options come out pretty fast/ good timing. The area itself is clean and the baby high chairs are one of the cleanest I've seen. It seems that restaurants forget to wipe those down. But not them, I always carry wipes with me and when I wiped it, there was no dirt. As a mom, that's a plus for me. The food was tasty and for those stating that it is bland, they just need to ADD what they like. Hence the restaurant being a hot pot place. Sauce bar is amazing and options are great. read more

This place was super good! It's a great option in Ogden for a date or group activity as it's a fun environment. Everything was very clean and the service was fast, efficient, and overall very nice. The food was pretty good! For dinner for one adult was 28.99$ for an all you can eat and there was plenty of value for your money. Everything is included in the all you can eat except certain drinks such as teas and packaged items. There was a surprising amount of options for the price as well such as wagyu, crab legs, and lamb meat. Such a good hotpot place for ogden I would recommend 100%. read more

My husband took me on a date to the Ogden location on Wall Ave. The restaurant was busy as it was after 5 pm on a Friday. We did not have to wait long, and we were seated and taken care of. Our server was Jen, and she was super attentive and did a great job. What really stood out above the great food and ambiance of the clean and fun atmosphere was the friendliness of the staff. Another server named BunnyLynn also stopped and checked on us as she was passing to her tables in another area of the restaurant. Everyone was busy, there was a line to the door when we left, but they all still took the time to make our dining experience seamless. We will definitely go back again and take other friends/family with us - Great Job Hot Pot Team!!! read more

The place is unique in its Asian style. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our only complaints is that the place is dripping wet along the windows from all of the condensation. We recommend you turn the AC to offset this. As for the food, there needs to more. More veggies (I. E carrots and snow peas) and more options. Overall our visit was nice and we will be back. read more

Hey Hot Pot - Our first visit to Hey! Hot Ppt. - Korean Near Me - Ogden, Utah

One of the first hot pot in the area. The place was a sauna due to the steam from the boiling broth. The price is a little steep and there is not much options. The service is awesome, definitely should visit once if you never had hot pot! read more

Hey Hot Pot - Hot pot variety - Korean Near Me - Ogden, Utah

We tried it. Our "waitress" was not helpful even after asking and if it was our first time at Hey Hot Pot, which it was and she knew. When you order the meat, you really don't know which meat you're getting and neither does the person that brings it or your waiter! Nope, I don't need to go back. read more

Food was definitely good, with variety of selection to choose from meat or seafood, noodles, vegetables and sauces! You can beat the price.

Five star with reservations. While the unique atmosphere and dining experience is five stars, the staff is not well trained and reduce the dining pleasure. Once all the features are understood it is a perfect dining experience. It is an unlimited buffet. 1. You have to be careful in what soup stock you want. 2. Pick the meats you wish to put in the pot. 3. Don't pick too many items from the buffet table for they must fit into the pot without overfilling. Order all the appetizers you want, not forgetting the rice. You may not be told but you may ask for an ice cream cup for dessert. Enjoy and let me know if this helps. read more

Such an amazing place for friends to go! I love the mushroom broth they have there and the wide selection of sides for the soup there is.

Genuine hotpot flavor and good food. The service was great! I would love to go there again.

The waitress didn't explain how the menu and food worked to my friend and me! We didn't know we had to turn on the stove for the food to get extremely hot or to turn it down !! The spices were so hot that even smelling them hurt my nose, and breathing them in made me cough like crazy. It wasn't worth $40 for two people. We were hungry when we got home 30 minutes later; it wasn't worth the money at all." read more

The service was on point, the food was very good, and the ambiance was chill/fun. I would love to see a few more veggies (bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, Potatoes), and maybe some varied chilies. They are very new to the game And I can't wait to see how they develop! read more

Made our first trip to "Hey Hot Pot" and was absolutely delighted!!! My wife and I had a Split Pot because I like spicy and she prefers non-spicy. She had the Black Mushroom Broth. I went crazy over the Spicy Broth. Ordered the Medium but could have stood a bit more spicy. Incredibly delicious. All the accompanying ingredients were very fresh and very delicious. There were so many I was unable to try them all. Great service. Best Ive experienced in a long time. I highly recommend Hey Hot Pot and will definitely be a repeat customer. read more
