The lunch price is reasonable and includes a soft drink. I chose the Thai Yum soup base and it was phenomenal! Then you can order appetizers and meats to add to the pot from the iPad at your table. Then use the self-serve area for seafood, veggies, noodles, sauces, and more. This worked perfectly since my husband loves shellfish and I'm allergic. So we each had our own pot. The food was fantastic. The snow crab was fantastic. The meat choices amazing. We had the chicken, brisket, wagyu and the pork belly. I would definitely order it all again. This was our first time trying hot pot and it was truly awful, almost inedible. The few broths we tasted were flavorless. You can tell they served the lowest quality meat and seafood they can get away with. The service wasn't great, the soda was flat, and the buffet didn't seem super hygienic. It was expensive! I will be surprised if this place stays in business and it's a shame that such a terrible restaurant replaced such a good one. Wow another great experience for me and my family! From the moment we entered the doors we were greeted with friendly and attentive service. We were quickly seated and welcomed by our server. She went over the options with us and how to use the iPad to order more meats. We ordered mushroom broth and the schezwan broth at mild level spice. All our broths were delicious! This is our second visit since Hey Hot Pot opened here and they have really improved the overall ambiance and feel of the cold bar to get your soup add ins. Lots of good options and very clean! We enjoyed the lunch here and were very satisfied with the experience. I can understand why they bring the meats and appetizers from the kitchen upon order rather than at the buffet. The reason for the 4 rather than a 5 is because they need to add a few more vegetables to the buffet selection such as spinach, sprouts, snow peas, basil, celery, and baby bock choy. Be careful about ordering even the mild spiciness because it is rather "hot". I can not imagine who would eat the very spicy broth. The broths were tasty and overall a great experience. The area itself is clean and the baby high chairs are one of the cleanest I've seen. It seems that restaurants forget to wipe those down. But not them, I always carry wipes with me and when I wiped it, there was no dirt. As a mom, that's a plus for me. The food was pretty good! For dinner for one adult was 28.99$ for an all you can eat and there was plenty of value for your money. Went to all you can eat Hot Pot at Hey! Hot Pot in Ogden. It was a fun meal and way more then we could eat. Everything was fresh and service was excellent. We all tried different things and no complaints other then it being a lot of food. We had 3 people reach with their own hot pot. The other option is a giant family style hot pot that still allows two different soup bases. The "salad bar" has all sorts of things to add to your soup including a nice variety of seafood, some veggies and some noodles. There's also a number of sauces and spices you can add. The order also included egg rolls and other appetizers that were tasty. There's a number of different soup bases to choose from and they'll refill as needed. There's also a large selection of meats to choose from. And you can get as many as you want. I'd recommend starting out with two different ones and see how it goes from there. It really is an experience and as delicious as the food is, it's just a fun way to have a meal. There is a 2 hour time limit but the service is fast so not an issue. My husband took me on a date to the Ogden location on Wall Ave. The restaurant was busy as it was after 5 pm on a Friday. We did not have to wait long, and we were seated and taken care of. Our server was Jen, and she was super attentive and did a great job. What really stood out above the great food and ambiance of the clean and fun atmosphere was the friendliness of the staff. Another server named BunnyLynn also stopped and checked on us as she was passing to her tables in another area of the restaurant. Everyone was busy, there was a line to the door when we left, but they all still took the time to make our dining experience seamless. The place is unique in its Asian style. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our only complaints is that the place is dripping wet along the windows from all of the condensation. We recommend you turn the AC to offset this. As for the food, there needs to more. More veggies (I. E carrots and snow peas) and more options. Pick the meats you wish to put in the pot. 3. Don't pick too many items from the buffet table for they must fit into the pot without overfilling.
