Open pair of chopsticks was the only utensil received

First time visitor and last time orderer. This is by far the WORST Sushi restaurant that I've ever been to! Was looking for somewhere new and fun to take a friend to for their upcoming birthday and this place definitely isn't it! I ordered their Crab Rangoons (notice in the description it does not state how many that you will actually receive for $8). I received a total of FOUR completely BURNT and inedible rangoons with no requested sweet and sour sauce. Instead they gave me two small containers of some very bland yellow dipping sauce that I suppose wasn't even necessary because all of the Rangoons were burnt to a crisp and INEDIBLE. I also ordered their Spicy Crabmeat roll that came with eight tiny pieces that certainly didn't live up to their "spicy" description or price! They did come with a small amount of wasabi and nori but something was very old and unfresh with the tiny pieces of nori. I had requested spicy mayo, dipping sauce, soy sauce, etc. I received zero condiments, and zero napkins; just an open pair of chopsticks. Completely overpriced and overcooked bland food here. Will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews. Seems this place has had quite a few problems in regards to service and food.

I always wanted to go & it was a real treat on my birthday. It was so beautiful inside. Wonderful staff.

We are visiting family in Utah. Such a show! We didn't really have a wait at all. We were walked right to a table! The staff is so friendly and very helpful. I'm quite pleased with the low volume even though all of the tables were cooking. Very romantic and also family oriented. Now to the food! Oh my gosh! It is amazing. Hubby got sushi and pepper tuna appetizer. I got teppanyaki chicken. The rest of the table got everything from shrimp to steak and noodles.

Going for a late dinner on a Friday night was a total win at Kobe! We were seated after a 5 minute wait, and were given great service by the support staff. We ordered the Ogden roll as a starter, which fantastic and fresh! The dinner presentation was amazing and so fun! Our chef was Will, and he had great tricks and a sense of humor! We honestly kept saying that this was the best quality of food from a Teppanyaki restaurant that we have ever experienced. The salad and sauces for the meat were very fresh! The meat (especially the filet mignon) was so buttery and tender. The shrimp (even the thrown ones) weren't over cooked! Literally, I'm a big sauce girly so the addition of chili paste to my steak made the whole experience better!

Fried Rice and some chef action

We went for a Holiday Party and they easily accommodated the group lovely. The inside is all decorated and has a large fish pond. You can even buy food to feed the fish. The Chef cooking was funny and entertaining. Typical jokes you would see and hear at any Teppanyaki restaurant. The food was good. I wouldn't say great. They use a ton of butter and there was some grease all on my plate from my steak. I will say the steak was cooked correctly. I did enjoy that there was broccoli in the veggies. The soup broth was pretty salty. Overall it was a good experience but nothing I would run right back to because I was craving it.

The four of us went for a birthday dinner. My first time here, I was excited to see the building and watching them cook. We were seated quickly and had the front row seats after requesting it. I decided on the filet with scallops and shrimp, I also opted for the fried rice. Our cook was nice and he was going through all the motions but not really exciting, had some good humor. Scallops were awesome! the shrimp really good and my medium rare steak ended up medium well and a little tough. Butter! Butter! Butter! lost of butter on everything including the rice witch also had quit a bit of oil to begin with. I believe the price was fair, we ended up with a lot of leftovers and had a lot of fun together, . My only complaint is oily fried rice and wanted more veggies and a better wow show.

I love going to teppanyaki type places & Kobe did not disappoint! Went here with some friends & it was so fun to have a little show during dinner. We ordered the pear sake (warm). It was okay, a little too strong & not sweet enough for my liking but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. We shared an order of Gyoza which came out pretty quick but I didn't realize how much food actually comes with your meal. I probably would skip an appetizer next time. I ordered a vegetarian entrée (not necessarily featured on their menu that I saw) & my boyfriend ordered the Filet Mignon and chicken entrée. Each entrée comes with a side salad & a cup of house soup/miso soup. I really enjoyed the dressing on the house salad. My soup was full of tofu, I didn't love that. But the broth was good! My boyfriend loved the house soup with his order. The fried rice was excellent and our friend ordered the noodles & those also looked really good! I just ordered the regular white rice, but I wish I ordered the fried rice! Next time I will do that. It was amazing watching them cook right in front of you & they always make the show really fun! The fresh veggies were delicious! I loved the zucchini & mushrooms! I tried both the chicken and filet mignon in my boyfriends dish. The chicken was okay but the filet mignon was phenomenal!! & that's coming from a vegetarian. I loved the teriyaki sauce on this & I loved that they cut it up into small pieces. Loved this place & highly recommend, perfect for a date night!!!

I want to start this by saying we walked in the door 20 minutes before they closed in active gear & they greeted us warmly - as if they had all night. Our server (my little person thinks her name was Tonya) & chef were both incredible & the Hibachi was cooked perfectly. Would absolutely return if we were in the area.

Had so much fun and the food was soooo good! The hospitality here is 5 star. From the point you walk in to the point of leaving you will be in ah with how they have perfected the art of satisfying their customers minds, hearts and tummy's! When you walk in you will be greeted by a very friendly host, please wear your mask as required and he will politely take your temperature. I had a reservation and was seated right away but got to gaze at the beautiful koi pond on the way to the teppanyaki table. You can purchase koi food for 25 cents to feed the fish if you like too. Sadly I did not. I was sat at a table with 2 other couples, wished that had been a bit more chatty and or animated but it's Utah and well sometimes conversation escapes "Utahans". The hostess, waitress brought drinks and took the sushi and menu order and was very attentive throughout the entire experience (keeping drinks/water filled, plates cleared etc.). I started the meal off with a fresh salad with dressing, soup, and I ordered a spider roll. Then we moved onto the meal and experience! Our chef was funny ( cracking jokes and evolving us) entertaining ( the volcano and egg drop trick) and prepared flavorful noodles, veggie's, chicken, sautéed shrimp and steaks. Everything was prepared to perfection! Can't wait to dine here in the future with some friends!

Lonestar I was…read moreabsolutely blown away with the food and service here! I'll admit I was skeptical at first. My husband and I showed up a little before 7:00pm on a Sunday night without reservations. Luckily they weren't too busy, but the hostess was a little cold towards us. After that interaction, my we were worried we chose the wrong place for my husband's birthday dinner. Our waiter, Chris L, completely changed the experience for us. I cannot sing his praises enough! He gave us great recommendations, refilled our drinks before they were gone, and he took care of an issue (even though we didn't think it was an issue). He was very personable and made our dining experience a great experience. As for the food, hold the front door! You want an amazing steak at a decent price? This is the place! My steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the flavor was insane! That goes for every single thing we ate, from the bread before we ordered to the sides to our main course. Nothing was less than excellent. We ordered the firecracker chicken wraps to start. The only way I know how to describe them as is they're like a bomb chicken taquito...and that's avocado lime sauce was amazing! Our waiter told us to try the spicy chicken bites next time (we almost ordered those). For the main course, I had the filet and I loved it! My husband had the Outlaw Ribeye and felt the same way. We both ordered a baked potato and mac & cheese for our sides (we were so happy there was the option to substitute the salad). The sides were delicious, especially the mac and cheese! I need that in a gallon container please! Since it was my husband's birthday, I made him get a dessert, and we're both so happy he did. He ordered the chocolate stampede. It was chocolatey, smooth, and paired well with the vanilla bean ice cream. It definitely put us over the edge, but worth it! I can't wait to go back and have another steak diner. It's all I can think about!

When we arrived, we were told there would be a 45-minute wait, which was understandable. Since there was a wait, we asked if we could sit at the bar instead. We could clearly see a few open seats together, but the hostess told us, "There's no room." I pointed out the empty seats, and she replied, "You can sit there, but you might not get service." I then asked if food service was available at the bar, and she said it was -- but that it would still take at least 45 minutes to get food. We sat down briefly, but the bar area was dirty, and honestly, the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. The tone and attitude from the hostess came across as if she really didn't want us eating there at all. So we decided to leave. That was the disappointing part -- because we actually enjoyed the food during our previous visit. Unfortunately, customer service can completely change the experience, and this time it did.

It got a little dry as it got cooler in the plate. The baked potato was excellent and the green beans had a nice charcoal flavor to them. The butter and bread combination are nice. I thought my waitress was absolutely outstanding. She came to the table at least six times to make sure all is well. I added some crumble blue cheese "free" to my steak.. The only thing that was disappointing was the day did not have pepper served with a peppermill! I really like it that the maître G walks to the table with the butter and bread so you can immediately start eating. I did not try the blooming onion, but I will definitely do it next time. I found Texas roadhouse to be a notch above Longhorn steakhouse. If a more sedate experiences wanted, then Longhorn would be your bet. Much quieter. But if you like a medium level of activity and a sense of party with great food definitely is Texas roadhouse. So my grades on a scale of one to 10. I ordered the New York Steak which also includes two sides. I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade my steak to 12 oz (definitely would not have been an issue had the restaurant followed instructions! -sigh-). I explicitly requested my steak be WELL DONE with absolutely no pink meat whatsoever. And whaddya know? The 12 oz steak arrived, grilled to perfection on the outside, with nothing but pink, raw (and raw tasting) meat on the inside. Ugh. This steak had so much potential and could have easily been a five star review. It was juicy and tender, but raw. Then, I'm reading all these reviews on here stating people wanted a medium rare and how overcooked and dry their steaks were. Do the chef's all have dyslexia or something? Because what other's received is exactly how I wanted mine done (minus the dryness of course..wink, wink). Anyways, chopped it all up and re-fired on the stove with a little butter spray as pink meat makes me violently ill. It worked out in the end, but the steak definitely wasn't flavorful. However, it became edible, though I should not have to take the time because my bank account was hurting me after this purchase. A steakhouse chef cannot actually cook a WELL DONE steak or follow explicit "no pink meat" instructions? Something seriously is wrong there. Anyways, my two sides were sauteed mushrooms (just little button brown is what you receive with a small amount of unflavored sauce at the bottom). Once again, had to "doctor " those up to make them edible as well. At least those were in their own separate container with a secure lid for the drive home as I had requested that ALL sides be in their own separate containers to prevent cross contamination. My second side that I requested was the Parmesan tomato. Basically it's a full tomato cut into two halves with melted cheese and seasoning on top. The tomato was very ripe, juicy , and fresh tasting. The issue was, that when you took a bite all that cheese and seasoning fell off of it completely. Not only that, but the two tomato halves were in the same container as the steak. Yuck! And remember I requested it all be separate from each other. The tomatoes had the fat/grease steak taste and pretty much ruined the value and taste of them. There were absolutely zero condiments, utensils, or napkins given for the "to go" order which I found to be a bit cheap and bizarre considering the cost of the meal, 20% tip, etc. This restaurant DOES have potential with at least what I just recently tried. Sounds like the employees and management don't care too much though for customer service or reading comprehension. Could have been five stars. Guess they all just don't care too much over at this place.

But what stands out was the flavor, so good, place got a little smokey as they grilled. I really like mushrooms and grilled onions, but the steak didn't need em. I took mine off and enjoyed the steak as it was. I did finish the mushrooms and onions as a side. Highly recommend steak night. The salad was plain with cheese and croutons, nothing special. The Potato was cooked perfectly with a cooked crunchy skin, soft potato goodness in the middle. Came with butter and sour cream, I would have liked some cheese, bacon and chives, but it was still good. Lots of food, didn't try dessert. My wife enjoyed her steak too but would have liked some other options, it was a lot of food for her. But lunch for me the next day. Our waitress Zoe was new but very good, very attentive, and very friendly. Well done Zoe. Keep it up Rainbow Saloon.
