A lot of Mexican food for a Chinese buffet. Wontons were not crunchy, a lot of sushi and hoping I don't regret it. Several items looked like they had been out a long time (including flan, which again, Mexican?). Lots of seafood that was in shell, then fried or sauced, which seems odd because how do you remove shells without making a mess? read more

Large variety of food, basic Chinese food, sushi, and Mongolian grill. The meat quality is about what I'd expect for mass produced buffet style. So is it the best Chinese food ever, no. But for all you can eat buffet it definitely doesn't disappoint. The employees were great and kept our table cleared and our Pepsi full. Shrimp, Sushi, soups, fresh fruit, and more. Service: We generally get the same waitress every time. She goes the extra mile every time. They also have items like French fries, and other kids friendly options. The waitresses are very helpful in meeting the needs of everyone. Ambiance: The Lucky Buffet appears to be very small. Don't let that deter you from stopping here. Once you walk in you will be pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and the food is fresh. It's a buffet, so they have a variety of food. They have this huge circular grill where you can pick what meats and vegetables you want and they will cook it there. They even have pizza for the kids and a variety of sushi. Service is fine, they will take your dirty plates. They are fine nice artwork on the walls and you can watch TV. read more

A new year tradition of getting Chinese food, this buffet exceeded my expectations. They have so many different options, and all with a a great level of quality. The Mongolian grill can't be missed! My favorite line dishes were the coconut shrimp, honey chicken, cream cheese wontons (of course), and the fluffy milk bread. I will say the seafood wasn't my favorite, but that's hard to compare in a land locked state like Utah. Our server was so kind to us, and very timely in making sure our drinks were always full and our plates were cleaned. The restaurant is large, with a bright interior and comfortable seating. There aren't many options for Asian in Ogden, so this is a great place to take the family in the future. Also, for the amount of food we consumed, the dinner price was definitely worth it! I have been going to this restaurant several times during the past year. This is the first time I am doing a review on it. As far as the service, the staff has been very prompt with drinks and plat pick-up. I did have an issue with one of the cooks at the Mongolian/Sushi station. But, that became a non-issue very quickly after speaking with the manager on duty. The food in the buffet is very tasty and the staff rotates the trays on a regular basis to insure that it is hot. The variety is above what is present at a typical buffet in this area. I especially liked the Hibachi chicken, baked ribs, and selection of shrimp, and stir fry. Overall, I am rating this restaurant as 5 Stars due to the prompt service, variety of food, rotation of the trays, freshness of the sushi and Mongolian grille. read more

Absolutely awful. To start the chicken was RAW! Also service was horrible. I complained about the chicken not being cooked and they totally disrespected me they also tried to gas light me, like I'm crazy. On top of that Horrible service took 10 mins to get drinks, just for them to taste like water. And to end it off they charged me and including my 2 kids a grand total of $72.21, mind you each drink was $4 absolutely ridiculous... Hope my comment spreads a little awareness on how they treat a paying customer. Never coming back! read more

This place is really good! I'm not the Asian buffet type of guy, but I thought I'd check it out. I stopped in because I saw a Sysco truck making a delivery here. I've heard they only work with the best restaurants. The orange chicken and broccoli beef were delicious. I'm a sucker for sushi too. So good. They also have the Mongolian BBQ area, but I didn't get to that because I was stuffed. Lol There is a lot more I need to try, so I'll be back. The service was really good too. I didn't see the bottom of my cup. They were on top of the refills! There are disposable gloves and sanitizer all over so nobody touches the food, tongs, or plates with their bare hands. While they take covid into consideration here which I love. Gloves, masks... great. Not 6 feet apart anywhere. The food was not worth $40 for 2 people. Dry, over cooked, way under seasoned. Waited 15 mins for drink refills when it wasn't that busy. If you want to spend that much money go somewhere else. My first time at the new location. Beautiful, the serving areas look great. They are taking this covid 19 thing serious, and ask me to wear the available gloves. They came around cleaning condiments and floors while we were there. The bathrooms were clean and soap and warm water were available. The tilework is beautiful, but I really liked the antibacterial soap and paper towels. The employees were cordial and food was average chinese buffet fare. If I could give a no star I would. My family all got one plate worth and every bite of anything was so bad that for the first time in my 30 years I had to get up and walk out. My chicken was not fully cooked wasn't even sure if it was chicken at first the sea food was old and dry. We only paid for drinks.... that we didn't drink. Firstly the food had almost no flavor and was dry. Second the soda had no carbonation and it took forever for a refil. Third the deserts/pastry's where really bad and especially the flan pastry it smells like eggs. read more
