Sakura - Three Rolls Lunch Special (with soup or salad): Tempura potato roll, spicy yellowtail roll, salmon roll $15.99 - Sushi Bars Near Me - Ogden, Utah

Unfortunately the food today was weak, lacking, and certainly not what this restaurant is capable of. The Unagi Don Eel was the highest I've paid thus far and the weakest for the price point in regards to quality and quantity. Honestly it just flat out tasted awful. I've never been unable to finish anything in regards to eel, but today was the exception. Was really looking forward to trying the Quail Egg Sashimi here since they don't offer Mussel Shooters. Forget it! I don't even know why they would think it's acceptable to throw them on a completely different item that I ordered. Very disappointing. Baked Mussels were well undercooked today and inedible to eat. I tried the Scott Roll (it has no rice and is supposed to be spicy...at least I can say it was)! Quail Egg were thrown on top of the Scott Roll which was, like I said, a disappointment. Restaurant wasn't even busy and I spent a good Red Lobster Seafood Fest amount ($60+) just for lunch, so I'd think they would've taken better care of me and the others. Sadly, very disappointing today at Sakura. read more

This place has great food. They have an awesome staff! We keep coming back when we are in town.

Lots of options and everything I tried was delicious. Staff is really kind and I'll definitely come back.

They are great, and do a great job at making the yummiest sushi. I've been eating here a while and they don't compromise quality ever!

Great price and very high-quality sushi! This place is adorable and has many affordable sushi rolls under $5 so you can order and try multiple! My favorites: the spicy tuna hand roll which has amazing crunchy things in it, sweet potato veggie roll because of its delicious crunch, and the spicy salmon roll because the flavors are very well balanced! Price: really fair! They even have a budget friendly sushi page in their menu ^_^ read more

They are great, website is easily accessible and navigating the menu was a breeze, thanks to the GLUTEN FREE SUSHI SECTION. I was pleased with the selection and price, and the website offers it's own Online order option. Which is wonderful because I hate food delivery service and the way they trick you into using the service with a promotion, then overcharge you, unless you PAY for some membership, which doesn't really make it cheaper. I think Uber eats is probably the most annoying in that way. I believe I used them to deliver food from this great establishment, promising 40% off and no delivery fee.. somehow I still paid $25 for two rolls. The ACTUAL COST of the food is decent though and my order itself with Sakura was amazing. Every detail was perfectly addressed and it was fresh, quality food. I'll be dining there again for sure, just not using any delivery service to get my food. read more

Their sashimi was high quality - something that is easy to test any sushi restaurant by. Their pure raw ingredients. Great service - very chill atmosphere, it was a blizzard when I went in so not very busy. The recommendation was also great I had another very good roll - the juve I believe. They have an extensive list of combos for rolls - I'm sure you can find one that will be right up your alley. Definitely worth checking these guys out. read more

Little restaurant next to a Mexican restaurant. Always ordered take out. So my rating is solely on their sushi. Fish tasted okay, not the freshest, but better then other cheap places. The price is great, the average roll costs 8.95. The huge issue I have is that the eel still had bones in it, happened twice! The eel and spicy mayo sauces were tasteless. read more

Okay I'm 99% sure the reviews for this place are fake. My boyfriend and i try different sushi places frequently. We came here about a month ago and the sushi was absolutely disgusting. The rice tasted stale and the sushi was warm (when it was supposed to be cold or vice versa. It made us both sick and we won't be returning, ever. read more

We ordered too much food from Sakura, and it was all phenomenal. We typically do Tona while in Ogden, but I'm currently having to eat less tuna and it felt sad to spend so much while not partying on the best fish. Sakura was a more affordable option with lots of good choices on the menu! I got Spicy Girl, Ninja, and Axiom rolls. I'd ordered a tuna roll as a hand roll and it came as maki, but that's not the end of the world! The kids love getting the chicken teriyaki here, but it's not flavorful enough for the adults in my fam. Stick to the sushi here, it's delicious. My sister likes their stuffed jalapeños too though, so maybe that's something to try! read more

With all the good reviews, my husband & I were excited to try Sakura. We've lived in Japan so we love our Japanese food. We ordered the tempura appetizer, a nigiri plate and a roll. Unfortunately the tempura was a heavier batter and tasted oily. The rice they use was just- bad, for lack of a better word. It was dry, almost crunchy, and we were surprised it even stuck together to make sushi. The fish was decently fresh and had no complaints about the fish. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, this probably isn't the place. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. read more

Found our little hide and eat perfect sushi spot in ogden! This lil gem is very comfortable upon entry and the sushi appetizers? DELISH! Small home feel with the high end tastes that people pay for! I'm having 2nd thoughts of even posting because I don't want this place to be over run (in a great way) and keep this to myself! "babe we definitely coming back" said I. "Mmmhmm" she says For those who hv large party family etc. Sakura has delicious platter options which is way cost effective too read more

Absolutely love this restaurant, this was my first time there, and we ordered the spicy tuna, rainbow, samurai and spicy super rolls. Not impressed, but not horrible either. The space/decor is not very impressive, barely adequate in my opinion. More importantly though the food was not that good, especially for the price we paid. Nice presentation on the food itself though/it looked pretty. Skip the diner salad and the teriyaki chicken, both were not good. The hand rolls were very good but very small compared to other sushi establishments. read more

Food was not good and took forever even though we were the only people in the restaurant. Prices on menu were not reflected in the total and was overpriced for the quality. Do not come here if you want good sushi. read more

Such a hidden gem!!! Seriously AMAZING sushi at a fair price (hard to find!). The service was quick enough for me to come between classes, and the staff were so friendly and nice. Definitely will be back, I highly recommend this place for any sushi lovers! They also had a big menu, I'd be interested to try their other offerings next time too :) This time I had the Mars roll, sweet potato tempura roll, and miso soup! read more

So good! The wait time is much better at their new location. And it's is so spacious.

Me and my girlfriend ate here for a Friday date night do to the fact that there was no wait! We quickly got seated and ordered. The staff was kind but not very friendly in the sense that they didn't say much. With how little people there were it took a surprising amount of time to get our food. The food was lacking in flavor, and was overly fishy. One thing we really liked about this place was the size of the sushi. It was smaller then most making eating a piece a lot more manageable. I wish all sushi came this size. That was the restaurant's more redeeming quality. Overall, we wouldn't go back. read more

Pretty decently priced great tasting sushi. Great for takeout. Tried their stuffed jalapeños which didn't disappoint. Can't speak much for the service because all I've ever done is takeout but everyone inside seems to be enjoying themselves. Drinks were filled as needed from what I can see. Great place for sushi that you can order from your couch and pickup or get delivered and enjoy on your couch. read more

We were seated and ordered our food quickly and we were the only ones dining in, so I assumed we would get our food in a timely manner. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked the waitress if our order was ever going to come out, she replied with umm, so I canceled our order. Not mulch to say except the service was so lousy that we just left. We were never checked on, the staff seemed distracted with other things they had going on, I will never go back. read more

I was very impressed with the service and sushi selections. I got to try a sea urchin. Pretty cool. Great rolls, cute location, fun staff. Thanks for a great experience! read more

Its just okay. The menu is heavy on fried rolls and spicy rolls which are my least favorite sushi menu options. The service is good. You get what you pay for. The specialty rolls are $8 a piece and the basic rolls are around $4. This is a decent price but definitely not outstanding sushi. read more

Doesn't look like a top of the line sushi spot but looks can be deceiving! Great sushi at a great price would definitely recommend 10/10

This is one of our favorite sushi places in Ogden and now even more so that they have added "no rice" rolls to their menu. Being on the Keto diet we have been avoiding going out for sushi but decided to splurge tonite. The 3 rolls we tried were excellent and we always order the stuffed jalapeños and tried the dragon egg which was super tasty. Service was great and always friendly!!! read more
