I love their sushi! It's VERY GOOD. The tempura shrimp flavor really stands out in their rolls. It must be so fresh. I do wish the lady who works there was a little more... friendly? I always try to smile and be polite and tell her thank you but she still doesn't seem happy to be there. Kinda makes me feel sad for her. No matter, I will keep trying to brighten her day! Otherwise, Watami is our go-to for sushi! read more

Love. Underrated sushi. Great prices. Tasty yakisoba. I come every chance I get! Standard process. Miso, edamame, gyoza, sunshine, fugi, lava, mars, golden, Syracuse, playboy, Vegas, crazy tuna. Good times! read more

We love this place. Is it the best sushi, no. But it's also much less than other sushi joints. Is it the BEST value? Yes! The service is "to the point" and nothing more. This place could kill it with a bubbly server, but it is what it is. The sushi is so good for the money. I'll say it again, "So good for the money!" I went from occasional to frequent. Love you Watami. read more

Absolutely amazing salmon rolls at a great price! Most sushi is ridiculously overpriced in Utah. When I moved here, I didn't think I'd be able to find great sushi so far from the ocean, but this little restaurant pleasantly surprised me! I call in an order and it's ready in about 10-15 minutes (basically the time it takes to drive there). Sometimes I think the gal that takes your order also makes your rolls from time to time! Love this place, wish there were more of them in town. read more

Best Sushi in Ogden, if not all of Utah. We haven't found Sushi this good since leaving Hawaii!

I don't normally give one star by this place was so disappointing. Was in town looking for some sushi, ordered online. Hadn't even started my order when I came to pick it up. Looked closed even. Sushi was horrible. Really a bad experience. read more

We have been coming to this place for YEARS! Today we got yelled at bc we asked for lids on our children's water and the RUDE woman who runs the place didn't put the lids on the cups like she has for years. Almost Immediately our three year old accidentally spilled the water and BOOM! We get yelled at, reprimanded and treated like absolute trash. If you want mediocre sushi, probably loaded with parasites. Then go to this place. Terrible service, they can't keep staff bc of how RUDE the lady (I presume owner) is. You can barely get into the restroom in the back bc there's a cot and random stuff that is being stored in front of the women's restroom. This place has so much potential. What a sad fate for them. They won't last much longer. read more

This place doesn't look like much, but it's actually quite delicious! The restaurant is simple, but the seating is comfortable and the areas are all kept very clean. The sushi is very affordable and really tasty! I love their baked salmon roll, the Christmas roll and the Vegas roll. I come here often and everyone I bring is happy with their meal. It has quickly become a favorite lunch/dinner spot of ours. read more

This place is amazing! They do a great job. Not too much rice, not overpowered by other stuff. Great prices too, for sure our go to

Took my daughter here for lunch on her birthday. It's been a while since we've had good sushi. I've driven by this restaurant several times but never thought to stop. The restaurant is clean and the staff is nice. The food was really good and the service was quick. read more

Excellent sushi rolls, served with a beautiful presentation and even better taste. All at very good prices. Our local favorite for sushi!

Best sushi I've had in a while! Never really busy so food comes out quickly and is a good price for the food. P.S. Mango roll is orgasmic!

I love the sushi... I go whenever I can. But remember the waitress doesn't smile. 1/2 price everyday!! read more

This is a restaurant we frequent at least once a week. We absolutely love it here. Excellent food, excellent service and a wonderful place to spend time. read more

Great deals and good food. No matter how busy it gets only 1 guy is preparing the rolls. He is doing his best to keep up. I will keep coming here, this is the best deal in town. They just really need another sushi chef to keep up. We are at 40 minutes now and still waiting and the place is half full. We will not stop patronizing this establishment though. Keep up the great food and great prices. read more

This place is a joke. Waited 30 min to be asked for drinks. 1.5 later we still don't have our food

Lots of take out orders. Not many eat inside these days. I had the restaurant to myself, so I had awesome service. Sushi cuts were very fresh and cold. The rice was fresh too. Miso soup was great. Spicy rolls are so good here. Great meal and price this time. I'll be back! read more

The dining environment is excellent. It provides a very modern oriental feel. Things are very nicely laid out. The service is friendly. The sushi is actually very good for its price. I recommend the rainbow roll. Has a very sweet sauce and the mango isn't overpowering either. The kill Bill is a very very spicy roll. I can do a lot of spice but this took me by surprised. The wait was a little long. About 25 minutes. But they may have been extremely busy Overall a pretty good little place. The sushi is excellent and the service is very courteous. read more

Third time calling to place a to go order for two orders of the salmon teriyaki. They always say they are sold out or just have one. This time they said they only had one available. I asked them why not two because I called right at 5pm. She explained that they only sell one or two a day. I told her we would like two then. She asked the chef and he changed his mind and wouldn't even sell us one. That's my last time calling them or walking into that restaurant ever. Their service is horrible. I'm surprised with their customer service that they are even still in business. read more

Service isn't always great but the food is good. The prices are reasonable, and it's usually ready quickly.

If I could give 0 stars I Would!! this place was horrible. right now there only doing takeout bc of COVID. I walked in and the workers were extremely rude did not acknowledge me at all and seemed very annoyed even thou i was the only customer. the fish tasted SOUR and old. I ordered 6 rolls and was done in seconds ??? horrible. felt sick to my stomach after one bite. I hope This place goes out of business. read more

I love the sushi. It is always fresh and delicious. I haven't had one I don't love yet! The prices are great too. It is my go to for sushi.

Love the sushi and great prices! Lots of great rolls. The seaweed salad is so good. Can't wait to go back.

The food here is pretty delicious. I loved the gyoza and the crab cheese wontons. I had the Las Vegas roll and the Seafood Tempura roll (both deep fried) and they were both good (I liked Vegas more). The only problem was the service. Everyone is very nice but you can tell they are still learning how to work in a restaurant. We (two of us) didn't get any place settings until we received our rolls, after two appetizers, and we had to ask for them. We had to ask for refills as well. The waitress didn't introduce herself and another waitress who looked just like her started to help us so it was kind of confusing on who was who (lol). All small things but still things that need to be improved upon as they get more established. read more

Always awesome. Best sushi we have found in Ogden. We have tried many and watami tastes the best.

It's getting worse and worse. After tonight, we are done getting sushi here. We usually do take out. Tonight we ordered $60 worth of sushi. And very disappointed. Many of our rolls were in a large tray, which is fine...but they must have put the sushi in first and then drizzled the sauce. Our salmon skin rolls were smothered in eel sauce. Our eel rolls had no eel sauce. They went to the extra effort to separate our spicy CA rolls in a different container than our standard CA rolls. But there was zero difference between the two kinds of rolls. And the lady who seem to be in charge there is so very impersonable and rude. Bummer...because this is close to our house and we love sushi. read more

I absolutely adore this place. The decor is modern, it's clean inside, and most importantly, the sushi is amazing. It's better than most of the full price sushi restaurants in town. Everything is fresh, nothing tastes old or fishy, it's all great. I've tried almost everything on the menu, it's just wonderful. Full disclosure though, the service is not friendly. I don't mind at all, because I always get my food, but I don't expect a smile or anything. It's fine. Totally worth the amazing food. I'd eat here multiple times a week if I lived closer! So glad they reopened! read more

The owners are back in town and this place is open again!!! Oh how we missed you. My favorite 50% off sushi place north of 32nd Street. So delicious is my favorite South of 32nd Street. This place is awesome but if it's crowded you may wait a little longer because they normally only have one or two sushi chefs. All the roles here are really good and the place is always looking clean. read more

We've had friends come here so we decided to give it a try since it is so close to home. The first time we stopped in it was a snowy night with about 45 minutes to go before closing. We wanted to dine in but they asked us if we would get it to go so they could go home early and get home before the roads got worse. We decided it was best for us to do that too. They were quick to get us our rolls. Another couple came in after us and were not so nice and said they wanted to dine in. The employees were cool about it. I don't remember the rolls we ordered but we liked them. The second time was just as good. read more

The decor was very nice and the tables and booths weren't cluttered with a bunch of unnecessary items. They do have a sushi bar where you can sit and dine as well. The service was wonderful. (and we can be a demanding group to serve ) All the sushi rolls and some of the sashimi were 50%off. The food presentation was creative and very eye pleasing! The food was very tasty and fresh. We waited a little while (about 10 minutes or so) for our second round of rolls. Very pleased with our experience. We will be back for sure!! read more

Wasn't to impressed at all. Service was short, on the edge of rude. She didn't smile, make eye contact, just "Order? Fine." Had to flag her down for more water. Food was just OK. Wantons were oily and over cooked, sushi was bland. Nothing to go back for. read more

The decor is fine that why i gave one start. The price is not affordable b/c the food is so horrible. The fish is not fresh (i had a rainbow roll) and not a huge variety fish. Their original price is like the Takashi and cut half price. It price is still the highest. The fish seems not fresh. Anyways, some peoples still might like this place b/c it's cheap. read more

The food is alright but the service and attitudes of the people who work here need a lot of work. The lady always looks angry and from all the times I've come here she seems rude. The guy is not as bad but just spends his time on his phone. May start eating sushi at smiths instead read more

Our first time back since they reopened. When we arrived there was one table that was just finishing up (4 p.m.). We were sat quickly, drink order taken and delivered and then we sat.... and sat... another couple comes in. They get seated... drink order taken. Table that was there already paid. Then the waitress decided to take the last tables in order. After a few more minutes of being ignored, we left. Not sure where the normal owner lady was, she is normally on it. read more
