Had a great experience here for brunch while on vacation. Came here with a party of 4 including one child around 9:30. There was a considerable wait, checked in with the hostess and was placed in the waiting queue, conveniently got a text with a link to see how many parties were in front of us (9). We had no preference on inside vs outside seating, and relayed that (I think that helped expedite our wait). After about 25 mins, I received a text that the outside host had a table ready for me. We proceeded to the back and were seated in the middle of the room at a table. The chairs were a bit cumbersome to "scootch" forward in but comfy nonetheless. Waitress was friendly got my wife a new cup because there was a hair on it without missing a beat. My wife and MIL got the pantry sampler which was so much food, they took half of it home. They got to pick what kind of meat, pancakes and eggs they got. Everything was cooked to order and delicious. I got the Benedict lovers steak lovers version without the onions. It was delicious, I can't remember the last time I had hollandaise that was so good! I also got a special cold brew drink that I forgot what it was called but it was very tasty (picture included). Bottom Line: A quaint breakfast and lunch spot. Hershey Pantry is a small restaurant that serves breakfast and brunch. It has a small dining room on the front and a super cute porch out back. My husband and I sat in the front dining room for a early Sunday morning breakfast thinking the porch would be too chilly. But, after the fact I realized that the porch has a mix of heaters and ceiling fans and perhaps even a fire place so I think it would have been cozy. For breakfast there were lots of yummy sounding dishes. I was tempted by the egg sandwich on a pretzel roll but ultimately I got a traditional benedict and substituted the home fries with fresh fruit. Sometimes fresh fruit ends up being mediocre but everything that Hershey Pantry was fresh and perfectly ripe. Service was great and we were in and out fairly quickly. As we left around 8:30am-ish the restaurant was getting busier and I noticed how close together some of the tables are. We kinda had to weave our way out of there. I agree with another Yelper about hidden charges. My husband was asked if onions with his home fries were ok and he said yes to the leading question to be accommodating since I know neither of us are onion fans. And of course we were charged for those onions. For me personally I'd rather pay a little more and have the transparency. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would return. read more

Visited for breakfast with my 2 young nephews and we had such a great breakfast experience. To start, the coffee was wonderful and my nephews approved of their chocolate milk. Excellent kids meals with chocolate chip pancakes and perfectly cooked bacon. The highlight of the breakfast was the grilled pecan sticky bun, which was crispy, sweet, and satisfying. I had the baked old fashioned oatmeal with brown sugar and milk, this was good but I would probably get the pancakes next time. The side of bacon was a nice portion for the price. We found this outstanding resturant on Yelp, they are located in the middle of ChocolateTown. They have a handful of tables and bar seats inside, and a screened in dining area in the back that holds more people then the front. When you walk in, they take your name, number in your party, cell number, and you receive a text welcoming you, then next text you will receive is when your table is ready. They take no call ahead or reservations. We went Tuesday morning, our wait was only around 10 minutes, and we sat at the screened in area, which was so nicely decorated. Our waitress Meghan was spectacular, we had ordered the meat lovers omelet, stuffed French toast with black berry , the soft pretzel egg sandwich with ham and eggs ( requested eggs to be cooked over easy ) and a kids chicken strips and fries. Everything was delicious, all our plates were emptied. Which is a good sign. So we decided to go again on Wednesday on our way to Hersheypark, gave our name and number, this time we requested inside to eat. When we were seated, we were happy to find out we had Megan again as our server. This time we ordered two meat lovers omelets , the soft pretzel egg sandwich, and kids meal chocolate chip pancake. Love this place!!! Hadn't been here in about 10 years and well it didn't disappoint. I ordered the Benny it was delicious, the homefries flavorful and crispy n soft at the same time. I ordered the s'more latte was so delicious. I'm still thinking about it. My son ordered the pancakes and oh my they were ginormous. The service was ok not the greatest, maybe it was an off day we all have them ( food and everything else was superb tho) The outdoor covered patio is amazing such an inviting space. Their outdoor seating is heated and has a cute little fire place. I have been here for Sunday brunches atleast three times and so far the food has not disappointed. We did have Garden Omelette with a side of potatoes which was delicious and Italian Stuffed French Toast with Raspberry cream cheese which was divine with a side of bacon. When I asked for mayonnaise the waitress looked at me like I should eat what was put in front of me. I just needed more moisture on my Cranberry Turkey Sandwich. The décor of this delightful restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch includes bright botanical splendors and comfortable furniture. Servers are efficient and friendly. We shared a turkey avocado panini with creamy aioli and melted Monterey Jack cheese. We received chips and a pickle on our plates. Sharing a side of fries served in a large cone, we had plenty to go. Our food and service at the Hershey pantry was terrific. The restaurant was very loud with large tables of families with tons of kids. It was distracting. The service was very friendly and really liked the food. My Ruben sandwich was made with their homemade coleslaw by my request. The bread was outstanding. I have never had Ryebread so fluffy and airy and tender with bursting flavor. They also have the consistency down pat. We also shared their Thai chicken wings that came with a vat of delicious blue cheese. We took the blue cheese home because it felt like a waste and we could use it for the next day. My husband had the never ending breakfast platter there was so much food on the table it was almost embarrassing. I will say everything was pretty delicious. Hershey pantry is a pretty standard cottage diner. The service was phenomenal with seasoned servers tending to everyone's needs in a chaotic setting. Went to Hershey Panrry one afternoon on a whim. My kids wanted breakfast as it was later in the day. There was a slight weight but the weather was nice so it was ok. After being seated we ordered our food and drinks. I got a seasonal raspberry coffee drink and a hot cocoa. We ordered a few different items for brunch. I got the omelette but i asked for no mushrooms and i didn't like the sun dried roasted red peppers. My hash browns were too overcooked for me. My kids had a pancake kids meals and French toast. Wish I could leave a better review here. We were seated after a long wait and then forgotten about for about 15 minutes. The waitress kept passing by us and making eye contact, and after about 10 minutes I finally asked why we weren't being served. The ladies up front were not sure, and turns out we were simply forgotten about. An honest mistake, but there we no effort to get our food to us a little quicker for waiting a long time. The only thing missing from this place is a grandma giving out hugs at the front door. This place is lovely! The place was cozy, conversations bountiful, staff bustling, and the food was delicious - I had the locally famous Thanksgiving waffle. And how can you not go to a place that has butter in a party bowl served with an ice cream scoop?! AND check out the tea pot I was served for my cozy apple cinnamon hot tea. The Hershey pantry is definitely a top choice for brunch when visiting Hershey PA! Despite a longer wait time than hoped for, the food was worth the wait. The Nick's Pork meal was a great version of Eggs Benedict over pulled pork and cornbread. I've never seen this combination before and just had to try it. It was definitely something I'd order again. The hot chocolate was also a great deal and tasted amazing with a Hershey kiss on top for good measure. I had brunch here with my husband this morning. It's the not the first time that I've been here, but it is the first time in about ten years. The parking lot and restaurant were both quite full, and we were left to park in the parking lot designated for the hotel next door. We checked in at around 10:52am and we were told there would be about a 35 minute wait. We opted to wait since we had driven 40 minutes or so with the sole purpose of eating here. The hostess asked if we had any preference for being seated inside, or outside and we said we were okay with the screened seating, but would prefer not to be outside. We got the notification that our seat was ready at 11:30am and it was outside. We didn't make a big deal about it and just waited another 5 minutes for a different seat to open inside. My husband ordered a lemonade and The Pantry Sampler and I went with a cranberry juice, the Sourdough Bread French Toast, and bacon. The food was okay, but not amazing. We ordered 2 kids chocolate chip pancake orders, a stuffed French toast, a regular French toast, and crab Benedict. The Benedict was spectacular with fresh crab. The stuffed french toast was delicious and perfectly balanced - not over stuffed or too sweet. The kids pancakes were ginormous and they loved the added chocolate chips. Serving sizes were very generous, the bacon was thick cut. Only miss was no syrup and condiments included in the takeout, thus the one star deduction. Glad we were only next door. Recent visit to Hershey. The pantry is always a must! Seating was quick. We had our little yorkie with us & we're delighted we could sit on the enclosed patio. First thing to note is that there are 2 separate dining rooms with 2 different wait lists. Facing the street is the diner, compete with COunter seating. Out back is the screened and covered patio area. Both sections are very small. Chose out back because it was such a beautiful Thursday morning. Waited 45 minutes to be seated; about another 5 until our waitress came for our order. We were all set since we had had ample time to memorize the menu. Selections were the Meat omelette, egg sandwich, and the pantry sampler. Coffee was so-so. Did not try the Gourmet Coffee made is French press for $4.
