In April, as winter was coming to an end, I dropped off my cashmere sweater for cleaning, planning to wear it this December. When I took it out this winter, I was absolutely shocked to find it completely ruined. The sweater, which was originally a size M that I wore as an oversized fit (I usually wear XS), had shrunk down to look like a children's garment. The length barely reached my belly button, and I couldn't even fit my arms through the sleeves. I was so stunned that I immediately went back to the cleaner to address the issue, but: 1. There was no apology. 2. The owner claimed they followed the care instructions on the label and denied any responsibility, suggesting that I should contact the clothing brand instead. 3. They questioned why I was complaining after six months, as if I should have immediately unwrapped and checked every item upon picking it up. I didn't expect this to happen since I've washed this sweater several times before without issue. I had paid for dry cleaning, as stated on the receipt, but the owner admitted to washing it in cold water instead. How can you trust a business that does this? This experience was not only disappointing but also frustrating. The price, the service, and the accountability were all deeply lacking. I will never return. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, this dry cleaner would be a perfect candidate, they charged $56, I thought I would get the wok for my money's worth, not only they have destroyed my sport coat but terrible service and arguing. I wish I could post the picture., there is a reason they collect payment, but no worries I disputed the charge 100%. Stay away from this place. read more

Dropped my jacket off for an event days prior. When I came to pick it up my jacket was absolutely ruined with pressed, malformed, colored folds throughout the entire thing as if it got bleached. It was needed that night and said they wouldn't have it fixed until after the weekend, past the event. They denied a refund nor compensation for the jacket. I have used this cleaner for several years. Always polite and clothes delivered when promised. I believe they might have have had an owner change since the previous problems were mentioned. Today, I needed something cleaned same-day and they truck had already left for the day. The owner was there and bagged up my 2 items and agreed to take them personally to get them cleaned today. I went in to get two pairs of jeans hemmed (I'm a 4'11 shortie so alterations are an absolute must) and a blazer dry-cleaned. The lady who helped me whom I believe to be the owner, was extremely nice and attentive. Their turnaround time seems to be fairly quick. Although I was not in a rush to have my items completed immediately, I do think that she can accommodate a quick turnaround time. They're currently having a 50% dry-cleaning special so be sure to take advantage of that discount. The cost of the alterations came out to be $20 per pair of jeans and $3.20 for the blazer to be dry-cleaned (originally $6.20). read more

I bring my clothes in for cleaning an they do a good job but when you want something a specific way or you just want a shirt laundered and they disagree and want to dry clean it and or hand wash it and hand iron it be prepared for an argument. You won't win. You can sign whatever statement you want and take responsibility for the shirt the staff will just argue with you until you relent and or take the piece of clothing back with you to do yourself. read more

Very straight forward business. Staff is attentive and overall show a lot of attention. Have been fortunate to go when it is not busy. Pricing can be sometime be a little unclear, granted this caused when I drop off women's clothes. What's the difference we both where shirts and pants. read more

My experience is akin to many of those listed below. I used the cleaner for years and had not complaints -- at least nothin significant. I brought in a dress shirt that I had worn and the color was badly stained by a leather cord of a pendant around my neck. They got the stain out of the color but there were huge pale yellow stains all over the shirt. I know they hadn't been there when I had worn the shirt and brought it in. The woman there argued with me, telling me that the stains were there, it wasn't there fault, etc etc. And she kept on at it, as others have also suggested. For a customer of many years who had never complained once you would think that maybe... just maybe... she would have AT LEAST offered to refund the cost of cleaning the one shirt. But nope. Not an apology, not a refund -- just an insistence that it was like that from the start. She may feel she "won" that battle. But she lost a customer that had spent hundreds of dollars there every year. read more

After taking suits and dresses in for cleaning with out any issues since they opened, my wife took in a set of curtains to get hemmed. HH Cleaners made the curtains 10 inches shorter rather than the requested 8 inches. I returned to the store with the original packaging, their business receipt stating 8 inches and the curtains. First I was told that we asked for the wrong length. Then I was told that Bed Bath and Beyond sold me curtains that were shorter than the package stated. I was then offered the opportunity to take out the hem and lengthen the curtains for $18 rather than $36. That's fine, we'll take our business elsewhere. After leaving disappointed that HH Cleaners wouldn't honor their work, I was sitting in the parking lot setting up my GPS for a short trip to Maryland. The woman who I had just spent 15 minutes arguing my case with walked out to my truck to tell me again that I was wrong. The lack of customer service and lack of culpability was disgusting. Let start by saying the cleaner is not cheap, but it's nice to have one close to the house, so I thought. I have only encountered the women who I am guessing is the owner and she is not nice and it kills her to smile, say hello or thank you. When I asked her to separate a gold-colored sweater that sheds from my black sweater into two plastic covering she look at like I was crazy and toss the other covering on the counter and say payment. I told her to wait until I cover my sweater. I will never go back nor pay anyone to be nasty. The cleaners behind McDonald's in Haymarket is better prices and the owners a really nice. read more

I was excited to see a new dry cleaners near my house, located near the new Harris Teeter. I decided to send my nice slacks to the cleaners to be cleaned. When I returned to pick up my pants, I noticed that all of my pants had shrunk. Not only had my pants shrunk the color had faded. I am really annoyed, not going back. This cleaner opened a shop on Heathcoat Blvd close to Heritage Hunt and the new Harris Teeter, which was much closer to my home than a cleaner owned by the same company which I used for several years, and it started out well but when I took my wife's white blouse (cost $88) there and it came back ruined with heavy grease stains, the shop would not take responsibility for the stains and replace the blouse. Needless to say I do not recommend this business at any of its locations and would encourage current clients to rethink their business relationship with the company, especially Heritage Hunt residents. I will be posting photos of the blouse with the grease stains and the bag the cleaner provided for the dirty clothing for those who want to see the blouse after it came back. Never again will I use this shop or any of its other locations. We are both professionals who have no exposure to grease of any kind but the laundry would not take the responsibility for the stains. read more
