I was looking for a someone to do alterations in my area and found Ok Tailor and Custom Alterations and I am so glad I did!! I lost a lot of weight and thought I would not be able to have my designer clothing altered enough to wear, yet still maintain their high end look. This is a superb shop! I have taken a bridesmaids dress to be altered, a dress to be made into a skirt, two antique chairs and an antique footstool to be recovered, and 6 pillows made. The husband and wife Tailoring and Seamstress Team Owners are very gifted in their artistry. They are very helpful and the work they do is beautifully done. OK Custom Tailors did a FANTASTIC job with my wedding dress it. I had lost 10lbs and my dress needed to be taken in a lot, everywhere. The fabric was also very heavy, but Mrs. Bona was able to put a single clasp to bustle my dress. It would have looked funny with three. But in order to have a single clasped bustle, Mrs. Bona has to reinforce the inseam down the center of the dress so it could support the weight. She clearly has a lot of experience as a seamstress. And with brides!! You wouldn't be able to tell she had to alter the dress so much. It fit like a glove after just one fitting!! I'm super happy with the dress and my experience at OK Custom Tailors. I am so happy with the OK Custom Tailor who fixed my damaged fox fur coat. She is absolutely talented with what she does. I told her what the problems on the coat and She explained very promptly and professionally about the solutions. She gave me the estimated cost and time up front. When I picked it up she showed me several pictures of inside coat.It really helpful to understand how much damaged and how she fixed it. She did fantastic jobs! When I purchased my wedding gown, it was being discontinued and the bridal store had only one size left which was way bigger than my true size. OK Custom did a great job altering the dress and it fit my body perfectly! The dress originally didn't have a train (which I preferred at first) but I bought it anyway because I loved it so much. When I took it to OK Custom, they suggested to get the front bottom of the dress shortened because I'm petite and leave the back part as is so the dress looks like it has train. Then my perfect dress had the train! The workers there were very kind and listened to all my requests for the alteration. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent tailor. My wife had two pants that needed to be taken in several inches. They were able to substantially adjust the pants within two days. My wife was not in any hurry and did not request expedited service, but they were still completed well before my wife expected. When my wife picked them up, the two pants looked and fit perfect. I don't think I've ever had tailors spend as much time as they did to make sure everything was pinned correctly before taking the garment. I brought in a few suits to get altered, sleeve length, shoulder of the cost, chest, waist, hip, coat length, and back of the coat were all adjusted. Very detailed and flawless work. For the pants they took in the waist, let out the seat, tapered the legs, adjusted the hem, and the coolest part is they made the pant side adjusters with no belt loops. Looks great with a piece. I brought in a pair of thrifted bootcut jeans that I loved so much but sadly the waist didn't fit very well. After bringing them here to be tailored, I fell in love with them even more. First, the service was great--I was able to pick up my jeans at the promised date and time. Second, the quality of the alterations were amazing. The seams on the denim were clean and undetectable. I needed a quick alteration on a chiffon gown - an extreme hemming on two layers from gown to tea length. Perfect job, beautiful work and they took the time to make sure the length was where I wanted by pinning it up so I could see it first, which wasn't easy. This team (assume husband and wife?) have just opened their shop. Pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They do alterations, draperies, and he said he is also a pattern maker. I came to OK to get my prom dress altered because of all the good reviews it had gotten & I'm happy to say that those reviews are absolutely accurate! The tailors here did a wonderful job on my dress and in such a timely manner too! They elongated my straps, adjusted the material in my chest area, and hemmed the bottom of my skirt to perfection. These wonderful people saved me at the very last moment. I had to find a replacement gown 48 hours before my event and then it needed to be hemmed significantly and taken in at the shoulders. I emailed Ok Custom Tailor at 11:00 pm and they were able to see me the very next morning and my gown was ready for me to pick up just a few hours later. They didn't amazing work. OK Custom Tailor did a perfect job with a dress that was too large. I bought a final sale dress online with the hopes it would work, and it was much too big.
