This place is my go-to for dry cleaning my heavy winter coats and delicate dresses. They have always done an amazing job with my clothes. They also do great tailoring. They've helped me with a full professional suit. They're also pretty quick and can get things back to you within a few days. Reasonably priced as well especially when I am giving them clothing items that are made of tough or delicate material materials. Update- I absolutely loved the results! I came in here with a type of fitted suit in mind and the lady was able to bring it to life. Although it was really pricey, I think it's safe to say that it was well worth it! I needed to get my suit tailored for a special event coming up. I came here because it has the best ratings in town. I'll leave it a four-star because I haven't gotten the finished results yet. Depending on how it fits on me, I'll update this review in a week or so. It can be extremely pricy because my bill came out to be $160 for the whole suit. However, the lady was so accommodating with me and tried to listen to every little detail I requested for. I have been going to this dry cleaners for a little over a year now and have to say they are great! Growing up, my parents owned a dry cleaner (yeah typical Korean family business), so I am pretty particular about dry cleaning. No strong dry cleaning smell or weird crease lines. But I am most impressed by the alterations. I have had sleeves shortened on a winter coat and a couple blouses, pants both hemmed and taken in .. perfect every time. Again I am particular about alternations just because my mom used to do that for me growing up. Everyone here is really friendly and can get cleaning/alterations done promptly. I moved closer to Herndon but will gladly take the trip to Centreville for quality cleaning/alterations. Highly recommend! read more

I recently lost a lot of weiggjt and none of my suits fit. I took them here. The pants needed to be taken in and the jackets totally recut. She did an amazing job. It was expensive. But all of the suits came out perfect. You can't tell any work was done other than they fit me great. Two were pinstrip and one houndstooth. The patterns match great. read more

The store is hard to see from the highway because there's no sign until you're squinting and trying to read each door. It faces the highway! I got my skirt fitted, holes in my shirt patched, jeans hemmed (that fell apart with another dry cleaners), and a patch sewn onto my thick jiu jitsu gi. All very well done. There's even a message board in Sun's store with happy thank you cards from customers. I guess there are a lot of bad dry cleaners out there or you'd think she ran a soup kitchen. The staff was very friendly and accommodating , when I went to pick up my dress I tried it on and it fit perfect! so thankful for their hard work! I have just moved to the Centreville/Clifton area. At the last minute I decided to wear a different dress to the wedding to my afterparty-- and I needed to get it tailored quickly. I usually look for tailors close to me.. but with this expensive dress, I wanted to take it somewhere nice.. that would not charge me a fortune (*ahem* Crest Cleaners) All I really needed was a bustle in the back. I found Sun off of Yelp. She was near my house, and had good reviews. I also took in two shirts, one of which had stains on it. She was friendly, professional, and not pushy. She got the stains out of my shirts, put the bustle on in good time, gave me a good price.. and was very nice and welcoming. I plan to make her my regular tailor/drycleaner.. although she is more than 5 minutes away from me (maybe 8).. It is hard to find a trustworthy drycleaner good on time, price, and gets out stains. read more

I've had a few pairs of jeans altered here including length adjustment and tapering. For one pair, I had the original hem kept. I was very hesitant to do the tapering on the jeans but the owner/tailor assured me that it would come out as desired and it did. I am incredibly happy with all the work I have had done here and the service is always extremely friendly and the time is always as promised. read more

The tailor is very nice and friendly, but it was a bit pricey. To get one button up tailored to take the sleeves in she charges $29, then almost an additional $10 to bring the sleeves up on the arm, and an additional $10 to bring in the back of the shirt. Read the reviews and was looking for a place to get my clothes cleaned and altered. The place is awesome. The owner is nice and she's very kind. I also went to get two pairs of jeans hemmed and asked if she could leave the bottom of the hem as is but make the length shorter (if that makes sense) and she did it! The pants doesn't look like I got it hemmed. This was extra charge, but well worth it. It still looks store bought, which is fabulous! And I had spots on silk and she got them out too. Great service. I work in construction and my winter coat got horribly dirty this year. I took it in to be cleaned and it looks like new. I would have thought it was impossible to get all that dirt out. Sun did a great job FIXING my problem. Great customer service and willingness to correct an error on the spot. I brought two dresses here to be altered. One very simple dress (a cotton maxi) which only required a hem and then one not so simple dress (silk bib maxi) which required a hem and strap/bib alterations, it was pretty complex. I prepaid ($38 for the cotton hem and $85 for the silk hem/alteration). Now I don't get things tailored much but I thought these prices were a bit steep but figured there's no price tag for a perfect fit! Right?.....Okay fast forward two weeks later when I pick them up, also want to add that they are ready in a week per my ticket but I was in no rush for them. I try on the cotton dress, perfect. I tried on the silk dress. Cue tears. I debated on what to do or say while in the fitting room. Let it go? Complain? She's too cute! What do I do! I pull myself together and I must have been in there a while. Because she asked if I needed help. I finally come out and try to tell her without crying that she had altered the hem WAY too short. and the dress didn't even touch the ground. Had I grown? What happened! At this point I just couldn't hold it in and the tears started flowing. She immediately asked me to try on the dress, she looked at it told me to take it off and asked if I had 10 mins to wait while she fixed it. I nodded yes and she went to work. I put the dress back on and it was fixed but not 100% perfect since I wanted the dress a little longer and "flowy" but at least it was just barely touching the ground. I felt so bad and I think most of the crying was because I didn't love the dress as much as I thought I did initially but it all worked out! Make sure to always try on your garments before leaving. I have no doubt in my mind that if you aren't completely satisified Sun will do whatever it takes to fix it for you. I'm still going to shop around for a great tailor. There's just too many of them out there. Centrelee gets points for great customer service and location. read more

Sun Kang is a super nice woman who does great work. This place is a little more expensive than the "cheapest" dry cleaners, but after one of those places ruined a $50 shirt... it wasn't really the cheapest! So Centrelee Tailor charges a little more per item but does a better job. If you have clothes you care about, bring them here. I do wish they had a wider variety of buttons though - I had to go to a craft store to find one that matched. But... Maybe I have weird buttons?! read more

Got two brand new pairs of pants. I'm very tall so I had to get them "unhemmed". Brought them to this place based on the strong ratings on Yelp. I'm sure she's a nice lady and all, unfortunately she measured wrong and hemmed my pants too short, feel like I'm walking around in highwaters. Wasted $120 worth of brand-new pants.
