I told them that was super high and the lady snatched the dress from the counter and whispered "such a waste of time" and starting taking the pins out. Mr. Chung was friendly and professional--he has been in the business for over 45 years! He promptly attended to her (even though she had not made a reservation or called ahead) and to take the measurements, he provided her with shoes because she forgot to bring hers. A week later, which is so fast for this type of gown, she picked it up and it was perfectly hemmed to "floor length." The stitches on the delicate mesh lining are immaculate and both the outer and inner skirts' hems are even all around. So glad to know we have a reliable and skilled tailor to whom we can take our fancier clothes for alterations!

If I didn't search Yelp!, I would never have known. I read the great reviews and decided to give them a shot. I had three suits that I could no longer wear because I had lost a lot of weight and at least 6 inches from my waistline. Getting the pants to look like they fit me normally instead of fitting me like a clown would be challenging, but I decided to go for it and I was pleasantly surprised. The first fitting left the pants a little loose, but once I brought them back, they were corrected in no time. I wore my suits this past week and no one noticed that the pants were once a size 38 waist! My boss probably didn't know that it was the same suit I wore during my interview, 50 pounds before. My only complaint is that I did not know of these gentlemen sooner. I will be bringing more trousers to them for fitting, I still have a few that could be tightened up around the waist... Oh! I forgot to add, their pricing is fair. I once had to pay more to have a pair of pants brought in than I paid to purchase the pants, when taking them to a dry cleaner one time. I paid a fraction of the cost this time, and much more work was done. Thank you so much for breathing life back into three suits I was sad to have stopped wearing, even though the reason was a good one.

They were able to turn my dress around pretty quickly, but there were issues -- it was tightened too much so I couldn't zip it up and they had adjusted the straps and didn't reinstall the bra strap loops. I was going on a trip and really wanted to take the dress with me so they had me wait on site and quickly let it out a little bit. I appreciated that they were willing to do that. They loosened it enough that I was able to zip it up without issues, but the front was bunching in a weird way. They were closing and I was leaving on my trip the following day. When I asked if I could bring the dress back to readjust the straps after my trip (which they had done as part of my order, also evidenced by the missing bra strap loops), they said they hadn't adjusted the straps and that I couldn't bring it back. The cost was $70. I don't think I'll be going back to this tailor. My friends have recommended others who charge a lot less and will ensure you're happy with the fitting before they close out the order. So I'll be taking this dress to someone else now to do the final fixes for an additional cost. :/

I thought that only the pants needed to be hemmed but they showed me where his suit jacket needed to be taken in as well. It fit him perfectly when we got it back. I highly recommend A1.

The work done on the dress was superb, I couldn't tell it was altered (of course). I had it taken in the back where the zipper was, shortened, and had the sleeves/shoulders taken in as well.
