I got both wedding dresses fixed here, my moms dress, and my sisters. They did the work so well, they were SO kind, I loved my experience. Great price as well! They even taught me how to walk in my dress because I had never walked in a ball gown!! read more

The whole team at Mychelle's is incredible! I was referred here after purchasing my wedding dress from Ava Laurenne and I am so grateful they sent me to her! The team is incredibly talented and professional, and truly listened to each and every detail on what I hoped to change on my dress. She worked tirelessly to make my dress fit perfectly and she did not stop until I was genuinely 100% happy. She has such a lovely and calming presence, exactly what you need during what can be a stressful season! They were also wonderfully accommodating with scheduling and made it so easy to fit my appointments into my busy schedule. I could not recommend this place more!! Definitely go here if you want a true piece of mind and a team that deeply cares about each piece. Thank you so much, Mychelle's! read more

I was very hopeful about getting my dress altered here because she was recommended by 2 of my friends however my experience fell very flat. -first they only accept cash, Venmo, Zelle -second they do not spend enough time taking into considerations alterations that need to be done on the dress... she puts you on a platform and just starts pinning. And then attempts to send you on your way in less than 15 minutes - on my first fitting I needed my neck altered for a high neck dress because it was too loose. When I came back for the second it was twisted and they had unwrapped the material and it needed to be folded back over. -Additionally I am a small busted person, my satin material kept me from getting a built in bra and she just kept telling me I needed to get a push up... push up what?!?! I repeatedly asked for them to adjust the pleats on the front to fit and when she took up the neck it altered where the pleats fell and she refused to fix them -when I came in for my finally fitting the neck was STILL not done or stitched when I was suppose to take my dress home that day... she made me hold the dress while she shittily hand stitched the neck while I held the dress up. -Additionally where she had taken in the sides the material was ruffled underneath resulting in the dress falling weird and ruffling at the seam and insisted she could do nothing about the material underneath and just attempted to steam it out which didn't work. -additionally when I picked up my dress there were SEVERAL pulled threads on the bust where they had not been careful when working with the dress Do not recommend read more

I came in to get a haltered jumpsuit altered that I got from Amazon. It *only* needed this small extra fabric in the front removed to make it look perfect on me. Seemed like an easy procedure but it cost me $30 something dollars! Basically as much as I paid for the jumpsuit, but whatever. When I came to pick the jumpsuit up, I tried it on, and noticed that they made additional alterations around the chest area. I asked them WHY when I only came in for a simple alteration but they then gave me "their professional opinion". It really pissed me off bcus now I cannot move my arms around in that jumpsuit bcus it definitely causes a nip slip---ofc I wear nipple covers----but BEFORE that alteration I did *not* need to worry about that. They even saw how easily my nipples were slipping out but offered no solution. Just sent me on my way..... terrible customer service. I'm never coming back here again. read more

Just for married, so wanted to review Mychelles. So, I was referred to mychelles by Ava Laurene bridal because they said she does a great job and would give me a 15% discount. She did a nice job, but I think it's important to note her prices are Wild! I was quoted $1200 and with the discount it was 1100... and to boot it was cash or Venmo only! I feel like I need to warn people about this because her costs aren't listed anywhere. It's completely arbitrary! if you have the option and time I'd shop around. just my two cents read more

I used Mychelle's for my wedding dress alterations and would highly recommend them! I scheduled my consultation appointment knowing some areas where my dress needed work (hemming, adding hooks for my train, and so on), and was also given guidance on other suggestions, which was helpful. Swapping the cups in my wedding dress made all the difference. Scheduling my appointments via email was quick and easy. The employees here are very friendly and I was seen promptly for all of my appointments. I was surprised when my dress was ready early, which I really appreciated. Thanks for making my dress perfect at a fair price! read more

I think the photos just about say it all. Do NOT risk your dress here. The left is from the day I bought my dress, and the right is my wedding day. I'd taken my dress here to have the waist taken in. At my first fitting, they'd taken the waist in too much, so much so that it did not zip (I cannot stress enough that I had NOT gained even one pound or one centimeter on my waist). By my second fitting, the dress was fitting well and all seemed right. After that, they steamed my dress for me and told me not to wear it until wedding day. When I put on my dress on wedding day, the boning on the waist had COMPLETELY warped and was digging into my skin (for which I have several scars now) and ruined the shape of my figure in the dress. Frankly, I have a hard time looking back on my own wedding photos even now without feeling angry and like I looked completely frumpy and shapeless thanks to them. read more

After seeing such rave reviews, I knew I had to give My's a try and she did not disappoint! I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID but I was still going to have a small church ceremony with immediate family back in September. My (now) husband and I decided we would wear our cultural attire this year and I knew that My would be one of the only people I could trust with my ao dai (Vietnamese dress). I initially came back in July and she told me that it was okay to come back closer to my wedding date since my alterations wouldn't take as long. Making an appointment is so quick and easy. She's also super fast with email correspondence! I'll be coming back next year to get my western wedding gown altered! read more

My is amazing!!! I had my wedding dress altered here and she was able to accommodate me, even though my wedding was only about a month away. Not only did she accommodate me, but she did an excellent job altering my dress. I had so many people compliment me on how she made the bustle. Thank you so much My, you did a wonderful job. read more

Had two wedding dresses and a MOB dress done. Easy to work with and provides quick, reliable, and affordable service! Highly recommend!!

This was a lovely experience. Mychelle is very kind, encouraging, and knowledgeable. She knew exactly how to tailor my crepe wedding dress that is made of unforgiving fabric. I picked up my altered wedding dress last week, and it was absolutely perfect. The pricing was extremely reasonable given how much work needed to be completed on my dress that was essentially one size too big. Mychelle's husband even steamed and pinned my dress with a long train so that it is perfectly secure in order to avoid wrinkling when I fly with it across the country for my wedding day. I drove from DC to come here (about an hour away) and it was completely worth it. I highly recommend Mychelle's!!! read more

Recently dropped off my wedding gown for alterations. We arrived early morning for the appt and was welcomed and told to change into the dress. The inside of the location is beautiful! Very clean and nicely decorated. She pinned and trimmed my dress as needed to get it ready to be altered. I won't lie, she started just blindly cutting the bottom of my dress which scared me but she did it so well I would already see how great it's going to look. I will update my review once I get the dress back but they made a great first impression! read more

Best experience ever! Highly highly recommend! Shop is clean. Staff is kind. And all the alterations to my mothers wedding dress were perfect. We adjusted width, length, lace sleeves, and added embelishments. Due to covid they held onto my dress for over a year. Also steamed it right before final fitting and pick up. Love this place! read more

My's bridalterations is an absolute gem! My is a very talented seamstress. The quality of her work is phenomenal. I'm so glad that I decided to go with her for my wedding dress alteration needs. Her pricing is fair - I was getting quoted a considerable amount more at the boutique wedding dress store that I bought my wedding dress from. Also, her customer service is amazing. My wedding unfortunately had to be postponed from March to September (shout out to all the corona brides), and she was so understanding of the situation, safely holding onto my dress for when I need. Although my wedding day didn't happen yet, I couldn't wait to provide a glowing review especially after she handled my dress and this situation with care, though a particularly stressful time. I'll provide an updated review after the big day! read more

My is a life saver!!! She made this process so easy, every time I went to try my dress on I fell in love with it even more!!! I couldn't believe how easy she was to work with. She followed through with her word. Thank you so much for everything!! read more

This is a great place to get your alterations done. I took my dress and it was a really long ballroom gown and all the alterations I received were perfect. She even helped me with figuring out how to get the bust to work better and also wound up sewing in a strapless bra for me. Great place, highly recommend. read more

My took her time, was thorough, and quick to return. I had procrastinated getting my bridesmaids dress done, and when I asked if she could put a rush on it, she happily obliged. Her pricing is fair and competitive compared to others around my area. She does mostly bridal gowns, but she alters everything. read more

MY MADE MY DREAMS COME TRUE. My best friend recommended her to me and I saw online that she had an amazing reputations, yet she still exceeded all my expectations. Even when I thought the alterations were perfect, she still pointed out several things that could be done to make it fit even better. She values excellence and perfection, never ever doing the minimum. She also altered my mother's Mother of the Bride dress and that was perfect as well. Do not even consider going anywhere else to get your wedding dress altered, My is the best!!! read more

I found recommendations for My Pham through FB and then came here to check her reviews... There aren't enough words to describe how amazing she was to work with. My was so warm and welcoming from the first email. She did the alterations for my wedding gown, my daughter's junior bridesmaid dress, my younger daughter's flower girl dress -- and then she steamed the dresses for my mom, sister, and niece when they arrived in town for my wedding. My dress needed quite a bit of alterations including it being taken in at the sides and shoulders, shortening the back, hemming (i'm 5'3), and creating a 9 point bustle for the train. My dress had very intricate beading and crystal detailing and it was made of Chantilly lace. You could not tell that any alterations were made -- it was done so seamlessly with complete attention to detail. I can not say enough about how awesome our dresses turned out! read more

I had found MyPhan shop online looking for custom fitting, stylish facial masks. My first order online was acknowledged and arrived very quickly. Well I have to say face masks were beyond what I had imagined. The quality and the workmanship was excellent and the styles and designs were wonderful. I placed a second order and received them very quickly with an acknowledgment and the same quality that I had experienced before. I would definitely order again and I recommend anyone who sees this review Don't hesitate to place an order. I'm based in the state of New York but I would definitely order again even though this company is in Virginia. I'm so happy to have found them. read more

I can't recommend My enough. I originally found her while getting a bridesmaid dress altered about 5 years ago. Since then, I've visited My about once a year for a variety of alterations from dresses to jumpsuits. (I'm 5"1' so basically everything I buy off the rack doesn't fit quite right). My has a great eye for what alterations will look best and is just such a nice person. Everything My has altered for me has matched my vision exactly. read more

My is not only a supremely talented woman, but a warm and generous friend to me. I met her at Amy's Bridal Boutique in Manassas. My has altered gowns for myself, many brides I know including my cousin's gown. She has made old dresses of mine fit like new again. She has a lovely studio and is priced to make you happy. She is incredibly creative and make you a new gown if you so desired. I just love My!!! read more

My did a wonderful job transforming my wedding dress into a custom-fit, comfortable gown. Before seeing her, My provided a quote in less than a day based on a photo. At my appointment, My took her time to help me find the right fit and tweaks to make my dress truly mine. She didn't try to push anything that I didn't want and she was creative and accommodating in helping me get the slight mermaid shape that I wanted by altering a slip I had already purchased. The final result was beautiful, comfortable, and I received lots of compliments! I would highly recommend My for anyone who is nervous about getting their special outfits altered. The price is worth the peace of mind. read more

My is a very skilled tailor/seamstress with gowns and will tell you what is possible and what's not and is committed to making sure you are happy with how the dress fits. Thanks My! read more

She is great and did an awesome job on both of my dresses. She even said that she would alter it 2 days before if I lost more weight!!! She was so accommodating. read more

My was AMAZING with my alterations. Not only did she work with me with my budget, her work was absolutely stunning, and she was completely professional. The story for my wedding was complicated as I was attempting to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time and My worked with me the entire time instead of judge me or try to charge me more. She gave me my options for the different outcomes of what could happen (weight loss vs. no weight loss) and constantly kept in touch with me about my progress. Thankfully I made it down to my goal and my dress came out to be so beautiful thanks to My! I would absolutely recommend her to EVERYONE. Worth the drive from Richmond. read more

She was in the middle of making a custom made bridal gown for another woman and we got to see it... it was STUNNING and now we wish we had gone that route.
