I came in to get a haltered jumpsuit altered that I got from Amazon. It *only* needed this small extra fabric in the front removed to make it look perfect on me. Seemed like an easy procedure but it cost me $30 something dollars! Basically as much as I paid for the jumpsuit, but whatever. When I came to pick the jumpsuit up, I tried it on, and noticed that they made additional alterations around the chest area. I asked them WHY when I only came in for a simple alteration but they then gave me "their professional opinion". It really pissed me off bcus now I cannot move my arms around in that jumpsuit bcus it definitely causes a nip slip---ofc I wear nipple covers----but BEFORE that alteration I did *not* need to worry about that. They even saw how easily my nipples were slipping out but offered no solution. Just sent me on my way..... terrible customer service. I'm never coming back here again. read more

I was very hopeful about getting my dress altered here because she was recommended by 2 of my friends however my experience fell very flat. -first they only accept cash, Venmo, Zelle -second they do not spend enough time taking into considerations alterations that need to be done on the dress... she puts you on a platform and just starts pinning. And then attempts to send you on your way in less than 15 minutes - on my first fitting I needed my neck altered for a high neck dress because it was too loose. When I came back for the second it was twisted and they had unwrapped the material and it needed to be folded back over. -Additionally I am a small busted person, my satin material kept me from getting a built in bra and she just kept telling me I needed to get a push up... push up what?!?! I repeatedly asked for them to adjust the pleats on the front to fit and when she took up the neck it altered where the pleats fell and she refused to fix them -when I came in for my finally fitting the neck was STILL not done or stitched when I was suppose to take my dress home that day... she made me hold the dress while she shittily hand stitched the neck while I held the dress up. -Additionally where she had taken in the sides the material was ruffled underneath resulting in the dress falling weird and ruffling at the seam and insisted she could do nothing about the material underneath and just attempted to steam it out which didn't work. -additionally when I picked up my dress there were SEVERAL pulled threads on the bust where they had not been careful when working with the dress Do not recommend read more

Just for married, so wanted to review Mychelles. So, I was referred to mychelles by Ava Laurene bridal because they said she does a great job and would give me a 15% discount. She did a nice job, but I think it's important to note her prices are Wild! I was quoted $1200 and with the discount it was 1100... and to boot it was cash or Venmo only! I feel like I need to warn people about this because her costs aren't listed anywhere. It's completely arbitrary! if you have the option and time I'd shop around. just my two cents read more

I scheduled my consultation appointment knowing some areas where my dress needed work (hemming, adding hooks for my train, and so on), and was also given guidance on other suggestions, which was helpful. I think the photos just about say it all. Do NOT risk your dress here. The left is from the day I bought my dress, and the right is my wedding day. I'd taken my dress here to have the waist taken in. At my first fitting, they'd taken the waist in too much, so much so that it did not zip (I cannot stress enough that I had NOT gained even one pound or one centimeter on my waist). By my second fitting, the dress was fitting well and all seemed right. After that, they steamed my dress for me and told me not to wear it until wedding day. When I put on my dress on wedding day, the boning on the waist had COMPLETELY warped and was digging into my skin (for which I have several scars now) and ruined the shape of my figure in the dress. Frankly, I have a hard time looking back on my own wedding photos even now without feeling angry and like I looked completely frumpy and shapeless thanks to them. read more

I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID but I was still going to have a small church ceremony with immediate family back in September. I picked up my altered wedding dress last week, and it was absolutely perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated. She pinned and trimmed my dress as needed to get it ready to be altered. This is a great place to get your alterations done. I took my dress and it was a really long ballroom gown and all the alterations I received were perfect. My was so warm and welcoming from the first email. She did the alterations for my wedding gown, my daughter's junior bridesmaid dress, my younger daughter's flower girl dress -- and then she steamed the dresses for my mom, sister, and niece when they arrived in town for my wedding. My dress needed quite a bit of alterations including it being taken in at the sides and shoulders, shortening the back, hemming (i'm 5'3), and creating a 9 point bustle for the train. My dress had very intricate beading and crystal detailing and it was made of Chantilly lace.
