My husband and I have purchased two cars from Franklin at Heritage Ford. We have been thoroughly impressed with both car buying experiences. This weekend when we purchased our Ford Fusion, we came looking for Franklin to sell us the vehicle. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would not want to purchase a car from any one else! I will continue to buy cars from Franklin at Heritage ford and recommend every one to look for Franklin when purchasing a car at Heritage Ford! Thank you also the the finance guy! He is quick and accurate everything!!! Thank you al for making our car buying experience so quick and pleasant! read more

I just purchased a 2016 Ford Escape vehicle. I had a great experience; I was treated respectfully. I had an appointment, When I arrived there was someone waiting for me and guided me to Freddy Pascua. That made me feel important! Freddy, my sales person, was nice, very knowledgable about the vehicle, listened to my needs. The main thing is as a loyal customer as I was presented with the best deal possible. The transaction was painless and smooth. You can't beat that! Plus I love their "Oil for Life". In general, it was another excellent experience. read more

This place provided me with excellent service. They were willing to work with me and got me the vehicle I wanted

We had a great experience at Heritage Ford. Even though they are there to sell cars, they are not your typical car sales people. Leo Rivas was exceptionally knowledgable and was very patient with my Indecision and constant questions. Leo was always willing to return ever call/text and there were many! After many test drives, Leo helped us make the perfect decision. He was not pushy and wanted us to be happy with our purchase. Thank you to Leo and the whole team at heritage ford...Donna, Graham, and Gary. I look forward to seeing them every 5,000 miles for my free oil change!!! If you are looking for a new Ford or a used car, go to Heritage Ford and ask for Leo Rivas. You will be happy you did!! read more

We recently bought a slightly used Taurus from Heritage Ford. We had gone the evening before to look and went back the next day to buy. The whole experience from start to finish was top shelf, probably one of the smoothest buying experiences we've ever had. Both Rocky and Franklin were helpful and informative without being pushy. We settled on a price without too much hassle and the finance office took care of everything quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend and go back. Thanks guys. read more

I called yesterday and made a complaint with the customer relations department in regards to the sub-quality work done on my Lexus by Heritage Ford Body shop and having my car go back twice after the original repairs and it still isn't right. The lady I spoke to said she would talk to Brett the owner and have him call me between 9am and noon today. It's 1pm and I've heard nothing from Brett. It's unfortunate too because I'm childhood friends with one of his friends husband who told me Brett was a stand up guy and he should make this right. Well I'm left to think otherwise and now I understand how the GM of the body shop Luis was so unprofessional and unwilling to fix my car properly when the owner of the company isn't willing to stand up and make this right. So I've talked to the Farmers, heritage is part of their direct repair network and because I've been to Heritage Ford Body shop 3 times and my car is still not fixed right and parts are missing I refuse to take my car back so now I'm taking it to Kruse Lucas where I should have gone in the first place. read more

I took my ranger in to have the heater fixed. It only blew cold air. I did not like the experience of waiting 6 hours in the waiting room, then they finally decided to get me a rental car. I would have waited at home if they would have given me a better estimate of time to fix my truck. I took my truck in at 8:15 am for my scheduled appointment. I waited in the waiting room. At 9:30 they called me up to tell me what was wrong with the heater. I was told that the thermostat housing was leaking coolant which was not allowing the heater to work. They also told me that the rear brakes need to be fixed. I did not have a problem with the extra work to be done. I told them do the work, and I asked how much time am I looking at. They told me that the work should be done by noon. I told them that I was going to walk to In N out burger for lunch and be back. I went to lunch and came back at 11:30. I asked the cashier if they had called my name for the work to be paid for. She said "no." I then sat and waited. At 2:15 pm the original helper that checked me in came up to me and told me that he was going to get me a rental car because the work was taking longer than he expected. I was not happy about it, but I did not express any unhappiness toward them. The rental car person came and picked me up and took me down to 7th street to get my car. I had to wait extra time at the rental car place for them to bring a Ford from another lot. If Ford is paying for your rental, they will only give you a Ford rental car. I had to wait another 20 minutes which caused a problem for me. I had scheduled an appointment for Wally Faulk air conditioning to be at my house sometime after 2:00pm. I had to make several phone calls to the air conditioning guy, telling him that I should be there soon. The guy was waiting for me at my house. I was late and put him way behind in his schedule. The next day I got a phone call from Ford. The guy was now telling me that the blend door for my heater need to be replaced and that was what was causing the heater to not work. That is a bit different from what they originally told me. I told him to go ahead and fix it. I took the rental car back to downtown after work. Then they took me back to Ford around 5:00pm. I waited in a line of ten people to pay for the work to be done. I the waited another 15 minutes for them to bring my tuck to me after I paid $1,000.00. Most places wash your car for you when you spend that kind of money. Not this place, it was unwashed just like when I took it in. I have had 3 Ford vehicles in my life time. A 97 Ford Mustang that my wife bought new, A 2000 Ford Ranger I bought used in 2003, and my 20011 Ranger that I bought new at Patchets. All of them have had problems that should not have been problems. I have spent thousands of dollars to Ford service departments over the years fixing problems that my Fords have had that other kinds of vehicles don't have. I am angry at the quality of Ford vehicles. I am unhappy with experience at Ford service departments, and I will never ever buy another Ford vehicle in my life time. read more

Worst service department I have ever dealt with. I was told an oil change would take an hour. An hour and a half later I watched them finally put my truck up on the rack. I then waited around for 15 minutes for someone to get me my paperwork so I could leave. read more

We recently bought a Ford Edge at Heritage Ford, located on Sisk Rd. Our experience, working with Dennis, was excellent. He was very helpful, only showing us the vehicles WE were interested in looking at buying. He was knowledgable and friendly. Despite an unexpected leave by the person in finances, the staff were able to pull together without delaying the buying process. Before purchasing, we did our homework regarding pricing. We were pleased that we were treated with respect regarding pricing, not having to haggle for a fair price. Our experience was enjoyable, which buying a new car, should be! read more

He also made sure to install the babies car seat for my wife when I was not able to be there to help. Thank you Leo for your 5 star customer service...you are appreciated! The Rome family read more

I searched online and they had the truck I was looking for in stock- that's what got me to the dealer- I had never been there before. I was met by Charles- what a great guy! He put forth no special sales personality... He was just himself- very down to earth and genuine. He and the sales manager worked with me to try to get the deal to fit into my budget. After that, the credit guy (Gary) lowered the interest rate another notch to make it affordable for me to get an extended warranty!! The service folks worked very hard cleaning the truck perfectly, and I get free oil changes for the life of the truck- that's a diesel truck that requires mega quarts of oil per change!! I am very happy with my experience with Heritage Ford!! read more

Talked with the online sales person on Monday, then again on Wednesday, setting an appt. to meet with her on Thursday evening at 6:00pm. Explained exactly what I was looking for and just wanted to walk in and purchase it. Sales Rep, stated, that it would be ready, cleaned, detailed, and full of gas. BS! When I got there she handed me off to someone else immediately, and when he took me to the car, it was filthy dirty with dirt covering it, empty gas tank, and it was not the car I requested.....it was $6,000 dollars more. I would strongly encourage customers to avoid this dealership. Look for a dealership that knows what "Customer Service" is all about! read more

I was there on 3/31 at 545 and you were the salesman Oscar before you handed me off to Jorge. You told me the transmission was a different one now you're saying it's an updated version. You also told me the car had navigation, Jorge told me the car had HID headlights. It's the same DCT as the 12-16 had I known that I probably would of thought twice about getting this car. Now I feel taken or slided and I want to know how Heritage is going to fix that. I've been in contact with Marisa at Customer Relations, she knows the story. read more

I had a leased vehicle to return to Ford and ran into a roadblock at another dealership. I called Ford Leasing, spoke with a manager and was directed to call Heritage Ford to set up the return. The issue was that I could only return the vehicle on the weekend (just like I leased it in the first place) and none of the dealers in the area had anyone working on the weekend to accept the return. I called Heritage and spoke with Oscar who set up an appointment for me on the following Saturday. When I arrived for the appointment Oscar told me the only person who could take the vehicle was on vacation and I would have to come back the following week (which was past the lease expiration date). Called Ford Leasing again and they were not happy with the situation at this dealership. They attempted to have the manager hold onto to the vehicle until it could be processed and Ford Leasing would send me the documents I needed for the return. The manager reused this. I was left with no choice but to leave with the vehicle and return the following week to return it. I called the Ford Leasing director who delegated my problem to someone, who than set up this appointment. This was way too much to have to go through to return a leased vehicle. There attempts and little or no customer service. Everyone assumed that I was just returning the vehicle with no intention on buying or leasing a new one. Needless to say I did not when all was said and done. Now the good part... When I did return the following week, I met with Jerry Urban who was more than helpful with returning the vehicle. He even asked if I had found a replacement or the Ford Edge. If I had not at this point, I would have talked to him about getting one. Mr. Urban was very professional and was able to make the return simple. I hope the management / ownership of Heritage Ford takes note of how good customer service leads to future sales and returning customers. I would return to Heritage for my next vehicle but wouldn't want to deal with the sales department. As a footnote, I've brought this vehicle to Heritage several time for service and warranty issues and always had a good experience. read more

Bought a used Edge and it took longer than I would've liked. Graham the sales manager was impersonable. Our salesman, Kent, was very friendly and helpful. The finance guy, Gary, was friendly, although I was annoyed that I had to return to the dealerships a few days after driving off with my car to sign a new set of finance documents. The part that really influenced this negative review though, is the fact that it has been like pulling teeth to try to schedule a time to bring my vehicle in for some body work that I got a due bill for at the time of sale. It seems like they try to do everything in their power to make you so disgusted with them that you don't even want to bring your vehicle in to get the work done they promised you upon delivery of the vehicle. I'm not giving up though! read more

I have been looking for my dream car for weeks. I looked online and found it finally at Hertiage Ford in Modesto. I live in Stockton. When I got off work at 5pm today (6/21/2016) i drove straight to Modesto excited to purchase the car I have been searching for. I located Hertiage Ford and parked in their customer service parking. I got out of my car and went straight to the car I wanted to purchase. I looked around and no one came to talk to me I waited and waited no one came out. I looked around and couldn't find anyone outside. A gentleman finally came out but he completely ignored me. I guess they didn't want my business. I finally left. I will not go back there again. , I really wanted that vehicle. But not that bad to be treated like this. I will continue looking, I am sure someone will have this vehicle at another lot and be more helpful. read more

I am so happy with my outcome here at Heritage Ford! I started on their website and ended up getting connected with IRENE. I told her I didn't even know if it was financially possible for us to trade in our car for the car we wanted. She said it was possible and urged me to come in. Skeptical, my husband and I went in thinking we would probably just leave without a new car. When we pulled up there were a few guys out front that took us straight to Irene with no problems. Irene took us straight to the car she knew would work out best for us. After test driving that one and another we had in mind, we sat down to run numbers in the first car. They worked with what I had told them we could afford and we came to a pretty good deal pretty quick. My husband and I decided to go back out and take another last look before deciding for sure. That's when we noticed it didn't have Bluetooth capabilities. This is very important to me to be able to use my phone to make calls while driving. Irene knew she wasn't going to sell this car without it. They worked out a deal to make sure I could get that installed on their dime. About 30 mins later they got the ok from the big boss and we were signing papers! A week later I brought in the car and they had the Bluetooth installed at a nearby stereo store. They have all been super helpful. Irene is amazing and super helpful! Also wanted to give a shout out to Jackie who was the first person I was in contact with and she set me up with Irene! Thank you thank you!! I love our Ford Explorer! read more

Absolutely the worst dealership I've ever been to. I would give it zero stars if I could. First it took about 20 minutes of me wandering around for someone to actually approach me then some fat bald white dude come up and says with a attitude "can I help you" like I'm bothering him, doesn't introduce himself or anything and has a bad attitude the entire time and the tone of his voice made me want to smack the rest of his hair off and on top of that is as helpful as a bag of rocks clearly I knew more about the truck then he did. I guess I was the wrong skin color for him or something so I just walked off its there loss they could of made a 60k+ sell sucks for them I'll drive right down the road to Turlock read more

The service department lacks customer service. Why even bother working in service if you're going to be rude and grumpy to customers? This was my first time taking my Ford to this dealership and at the end of it all, I did not recieve service. My vehicle had issues starting the last couple of days and after realizing that it was not the battery, I decided to take it in. I took my vehicle in first thing this morning because I know how busy the service department can be. As I walked up to service I was never greeted with a good morning or a hello or a how may I help you...nothing... was only asked if I had an appointment. I kindly told the service guy no and then he proceeded to ask me what is the issue. I explained to him the issue then he told me they are backed up and would not be able to "touch" my car as he worded it until next week. He then proceeded to tell me that I could go somewhere else instead. I don't think I needed him to tell me that and am intelligent enough to make that decision. Before I left, I asked the service guy if he could print out my warranty information before I go onto the next Ford. He told me no because I did not purchase my vehicle there. Hmmmmmm... since when do you have to go to the dealership where you purchased your car from to get vehicle information??? finally after calling around, Turlock Ford was able to service my vehicle. Funny thing is I have never taken my vehicle to Turlock Ford and they were able to print out my warranty information without any issues. I guess if you don't have an appointment at this dealership, they don't care to take their time to assist you. It is quite unfortunate that I had to drive to Turlock to be provided with excellent customer service and warranty information. To be kind to others goes a long way. What ever happened to going above and beyond or better yet, taking the time out even if the customer does not have an appointment to help them??? if you are having a bad day, stay home!!! Someone, somewhere didn't wake up this morning and you have the audacity to have a frown on your face and be rude. The nerve of these people!!! I was so disappointed in this interaction that I was ready to take my money to my local mechanic, with or without warranty. At least there, I am treated with respect and they welcome my business. Word of advice, if you are in the market for a Ford go to Turkock. read more

Buying a car is a difficult decision. The team at Heritage Ford was amazing. They really took the time to answer all of my questions and show me all of the features on my new car. Franklin was so friendly and patient and got me a lower price than I was expecting. Bonnie stuck with me whenever I would email questions, since I have been eyeing this car for months. Gary in finance office made it easy to complete the sale and got me a lower interest rate than what I was already pre-approved for. That was 1.5% below another Ford dealer. Only downfall and reason for 4 stars was they didn't have the floor mats for my new car when I drove it off the lot. But it's almost spotless and had a full tank of gas and since I live 40+ miles away they are mailing my floor mats to me! Great teamwork here, highly recommend stopping in if you are in the market for a car! Worth the 40+ mile drive for me. read more

Regarding recall denial from Heritage ford.. can you believe they don't want to honor a recall part its free so what's the problem?? Well apparently there codes don't indicate any malfunctions so no need to replace part, by the way is CPV canister purge valve which affects false fuel readings, inaccurate distance to empty, engine stall. I've taken my vehicle on 3 different incidents and service manager Nuni Ochoa) does not want to have it repaired because of codes wow is this a money thing? Parts are free when recalled maybe it's the mechanics fee that heritage doesn't want to putout...by the way nuni did mentioned that owner Brett Smart wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars to repair this part if codes weren't indicating defective part?? Heritage is not paying anything except to there mechanics which they do every day so why not a RECALL..I think this is false and needs to be looked into by other agencies.. read more

I've been waiting to write a review till our first oil change. To make sure promises would be followed through and they were. Heritage Ford is a wonderful place to purchase a certified pre-owned ford. I did a ton of research when looking for our vehicle and reached out to several delearships with questions to clarify my decision. The customer service at heritage played a major role in our decision to buy because they'd always be the first to get back to me and didn't apply too much pressure. They also communicated via text which was nice and my preference. One of the best parts though is receiving free oil changes for life. Today we took advantage of our first and it was a very smooth experience. We were promised a full detail as well. I don't know if I'd say they detailed our vehicle but it is clean. Not complaining too much since it was complimentary but probably just going to detail it myself in the future. The main thing is we are very pleased to have purchased from Heritage Ford and I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a ford, which are awesome vehicles, to visit Heritage Ford, I think you will be glad you did. read more

I went to buy a car because they have a spanking deal in one of their 2015 ford fiesta so I had to go check it out. After test driving it and talking with the salesman with the numbers he went and got Oscar. They started asking me for work questions, running my credit and just to see if I can afford the car, long story short we had agreed on such terms and at a payment affordable for my wallet and a deal where they would hold a check for me that has my down payment and after 3 weeks if I couldn't sell my trade in I would give it to them at the price they had agreed on trading my car for. Oscar and myself shook hands, and since I didn't have a check that night they said " just come tomorrow and we will have everything set, it's your car we would do everything tomorrow." Go to the next day and they don't bother to tell me anything until I'm on my way to the dealership but to tell me that I wasn't approved by their owner or some shit, they had gone back on their deal and changed it up on me. After the 3 hours of me sitting there getting a deal done they decide to back on their deal and even after the Oscar agreed, as did I to the contract and the payments. What's the point of having a manager coming to talk to me if the upper hand of him is going to change all his outcomes, wasted my time being there. never going to give my hard earned money there, not after that experience.
