i went in there to look to look at a f-150 and an explorer with my son...dennis approached me and introduced himself...i mentioned to him that i am just looking around...he was fine with that didn't even smother me, like some sales people do... when the time came..i went and approached to dennis...asked him a few questions and he gave me info on my questions...dennis gave me great info...i than told him that i will need to bring my wife over the look at these 2 kinds of vehicles (because she was not in town at the moment)...he had no problem not pressuring me on buying that a vehicle...gave me his card and i will let him know... the next day..i called dennis and letted him know that i will be on my way and bring my wife and kids with me to look at the 2 vehicles that i was interested in...dennis answered the phone and he told me to come on in and is working...got to heritage ford and met dennis up front...when i went to show my wife and kids the first vehicle (explorer)...dennis didn't huddle around us...dennis allowed us to look at the first vehicle without any pressure...that was great...it made me comfortable without pressure...when time came..i asked dennis if we can see the keys to start the car..he went to get them...he showed us what the cars features and because my kids and myself are tall...we sat in the car to see if we can all fit comfortably or not....(let you just know...we all are tall, except the wife) after looking at the explorer...i told dennis that i want to show wife and kids the f-150...dennis had no problem...dennis allow me to go and look at them...he stayed back and let us be until we needed him...sat in couple on the f-150...we all fit perfectly and comfortably....i than called dennis over...asked him a few questions about the couple of trucks that i was looking at...he gave me answers that i was looking for...so the family and myself decided to test drive the f-150s...dennis went to get the keys and we went and test drove...dennis conversated with us and had a great sense of humor...(you do need a good sense of humor to hang with our family).... came back to heritage ford after test driver....we loved to trucks....told dennis that i would like to discuss with the wife on what we wanted to do...he had no problem and i told him that we will contact him when we are ready...before we departed from dennis...i told dennis that i would like to find out what is the best price that he can do on these 2 trucks that we looked at and we will come back and buy at least one of them...wife and i talked and about which f-150 we would like to get... next day came...i called dennis and see if he can meet me that day...he had told me that he will....i came in with my trade in...told dennis which f-150 i wanted...gave me a trade in value...than we discussed the price...that day..i met with george (sales manager)...george, dennis, and myself discussed the truck price, trade in price...there was a little back and forth (expected for buying a car)..told them i will call my wife and make sure that she will be happy with that f-150 that we discussed the days before....there was no pressure with either george or dennis on that...i walked away made my phone call...than my buddy called me and wanted to see the f-150 cause he was near by...he liked the f-150 that i picked out...he looked at other f-150 that i looked at prior...my buddy met with dennis and george...my buddy asked a few questions...then my buddy left... than dennis, george and myself talked again...we came to a deal...went to sign papers and the trade in my 2003 tahoe and now a new owner of a 2013 f-150 super crew platinum... to finalize everything...i had a great experience at heritage ford...dennis made me look at the vehicles with comfort and with no preassure..not like most sales people do...george also made the deal with comfort.... if you are looking at purchase a car..see dennis and do talk to george...i will see them on again on my next purchase in the future... read more

So I went to trade in my car and get a new one from heritage Ford. The trade in value was fair and the price on the New car they gave me was good(after a long time of haggling) so I got excited about this deal. I tell them okay lets do it. So they actually didnt have the New car there yet which I knew, they had to get it from an inventory place. They said it would take 1 to 2 days to get there there to the dealer. I said cool! So a day goes by... Then another.. Then another... So I text Rocky to see whats up and all he said was they were working on it he didnt give me any details. So next thing I know a week and a half goes by with no answer to my emails and they give me the run around about what is actually happening. So I had to give them a pissed off phone call to get answers. Apparently what happened was that the car was sold 2 days after we made a deal and that they were trying to get me the same car from somewhere else. I dont know why they couldnt just tell me that when it happened instead of promising things they cant deliver on. So I talked to the managers and none did anything to repair what was done. My girlfriend took the initiative to call and talk to the GM AND OWNER, she did this on her own because she saw how angry I was and frustrated with the whole situation. When she spoke with the GM all he did was apologize and offer their used GT that had over 800 miles on it which had nothing that I wanted. So then she spoke with the owner and he was very rude to her, he cut her off while she was talking, and talked down to her which was very rude and unacceptable. As a man he should know better and as an owner of a dealership he should know even better. Very unprofessional on so many levels. After reading some reviews on here I learned real quick that they are notorious for promising false things and not delivering upon them at all! My word of advice to you all: They will not deliver on whatever they promise, it has happened before it will happen again! Thats a business practice that will put them out of business real fast, and I tell all my friends and coworkers about that. Edit: There was miscommunication as well as to me only wanting a certain color which is untrue because I told them so since the very beginning. I never went to 4 other dealers before you guys also, I dont know where you came up with that I had only been to manteca ford before you so dont fabricate lies to make you business look better than it really is. And also my phone log shows less than 3 calls were completed. 3 others were by me calling and were not answered. Also, I was never told which dealers had which cars, there are no excuses as to what happened was simply unacceptable. If you cant produce something you promise, then dont promise at all. Also I found out that they lied to me in regards to what the deal was going to be because they took my credit app and never ran it so they just made up a bunch of lies. Beware of this shady dealer and their false business practices, I shall talk to BBB about this read more

I will admit I was hesitant to go to Heritage Ford from the get go. Just do to rumors of bad service from many years ago. It always stuck in my head. My wife and I were looking for a Explorer for her and they had a used one which peaked our interest. Upon getting there we realized that is was not 4 wheel drive. So it was a no go. The salesman John Bjork suggested that we may want to look at new ones (the used one was a low mileage 2014) because of rebates they had going on at the time. We might still get it at a price we can afford. So we did. First and foremost he helped us find exactly what we wanted rather than just test drive something close. Thankfully they had exactly what my wife wanted on the lot. We each test drove it. Both on the freeway and regular streets. John was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. Which for my personality was great. I like my questions to be answered when your selling me a product your suppose to know about. Before I forget to mention my 22 month old daughter who is very shy to strangers immediately took a liking to John. Just further proof of his great personality and demeanor. There was no pressure after both test drives to go see any numbers. We looked at the car for a bit longer and then we made our move inside to see numbers on our own curiosity. I knew purchasing the vehicle was out of our budget. So I explained I wanted to see lease options. We got a fair amount for our trade in vehicle. $2750 in rebates towards the car. and a little bit I offered in cash to add to the down payment. They came back with a payment right in the range I hoped for. I eventually offered more down because I wanted to lower the payment more since we could afford to. Paper work was painless and done in a timely fashion. And John spent the better part of 30 minutes explaining the features one on one with my wife after the sale. It would have went on longer but my daughter was getting tired and upset. I will have to say that my opinion of Heritage Ford has since changed. I would highly recommend asking for John Bjork to assist you with purchasing/leasing a vehicle. read more

I could NOT have had a better experience with a dealer, and I never have. Luis and Oscar were very professional, patient and hardworking when it came to our purchase. They let my husband look and test drive to his hearts content and when it came time to make a decision on making the purchase, they made sure we got top dollar for our trade in and really worked hard to get us in the truck we wanted with the payments that we wanted. The attention that you are given at most dealerships seems forced, and fake. An attempt to make a sale and pushy sales. Luis was absolutely sincere when he spoke to us and was never pushy. Luis and Oscars's salesmanship is the gold standard for dealers, hands down. After we made the purchase, we had to wait for our truck to arrive as it was a special order. We had a trip to Chicago planned and were planning on picking it up straight from the airport when we arrived back in town. Our flight was delayed by two hours and we didn't arrive until after closing. Luis and Oscar BOTH waited for us to arrive and waited there with our truck cleaned, fueled up and ready to go. Luis stayed with my husband for over an hour going over every detail of the truck and making sure that he was 100% happy with our purchase and with all of the features the truck offered. We were blown away by his dedication not only to making an awesome sale, but by the quality of service he provided. Using his personal time to stay with us until he was sure we were given the full tutorial on our new truck. Most dealers toss you the keys and say " See ya later. Thanks for your business" and others would not have waited at all. It's so nice to work with a dealer that really does treat you like family. And... they offer a service that NO OTHER dealer has ever given us. FREE OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE! -- Beyond thrilled with this bonus! We will definitely be making ALL of our future purchases from Heritage Ford. Thank you Luis and Oscar!! You guys are GREAT! read more

After visiting numerous other dealerships in Modesto looking for the perfect crossover SUV, I am so glad we decided to check out Heritage Ford! The experience was excellent from the moment we arrived at the dealership, I just wish we would have come here first instead of wasting time at other dealerships! Rocky was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable from the start. After test driving several versions of the 2015 Ford Edge, he was happy to see if there was one at another dealer that fit exactly what I wanted. Oscar was able to locate one in about ten minutes for us. After talking price, etc. we left to think about it with absolutely no pressure or push to sell the car. The pricing was fair and transparent, no changes to incentives or asking about targeted monthly payments. He even performed a blind appraisal on my trade in vehicle so I would have all of the information needed to make a decision. The following day we returned to purchase the vehicle. Rocky was willing to come in at whatever time worked for us on his day off to close the deal. The pricing was extremely fair, I ended up getting more for my trade-in than originally quoted, and the whole process was relatively short and painless. They were able to get my car from the other dealer by the following day. Upon delivery, the car was exactly what Rocky described and had all the features we discussed prior to purchasing. Overall, the 2015 Ford Edge Titanium with the Eco Boost motor was the perfect fit for me. The car is amazing, the dealership was great to work with, and Rocky is easily the best salesman I have ever worked with. I definitely know where we will be heading for our next vehicle purchase. Highly recommend all around. read more

Earlier this month, I inquired about a 2020 Mustang that was on the lot. After some back and forth, a deal was negotiated. This past Saturday (3/20/21), I made the 100 mile journey from my home to Modesto to finalize the deal and sign documents, only to discover that the purchase price was not what was previously agreed upon. Financially speaking, the price was not a bad one; however, it changed taxes and fees since they were now based on this new and higher purchase price. The fact that the dealership, specifically the GSM, George Farhoud, changed the agreed upon purchase price(even after I provided email documentation with the negotiated purchase price listed) backing out of a deal that was already negotiated was a big issue. In addition to this change, Mr. Farhoud was very disrespectful. He was extremely condescending, constantly interrupted me when I was trying to make statements, and flat out told his sales rep, "then he can walk." Regardless of the change in the purchase price of the vehicle, it is astounding to me that a customer who has worked with other staff, and then made the long trip to make what should have been an easy deal was treated in such a horrible way. Mr. Farhoud was very unprofessional and made it so a deal could not be completed. I will note that the actual sales rep, who's name escapes me at the moment, was kind and professional in his dealings with me. That being said, this dealership has forever lost my business due to the treatment I received. I sincerely hope that others have a better experience than I did. read more

I'd been considering 'upgrading' my 2008 Mustang Bullitt since the new 2019 was announced. Almost on a whim I submitted a request for info on the new Bullitt from Heritage. I quickly got a call from Anna, who invited me to come in to have a look. Anna was at lunch when I stopped by with my mom to check out their Bullitt Mustang, so Franklin assisted me. Over lunch, I discussed buying with my mom and phoned a few other dealers to see what they had to offer. None had a Bullitt in stock, so I went back to Heritage to see what could be done (they'd made a non-binding offer before I went to lunch). Long story short, I love this car and am very pleased with the service and attitude from Heritage. This was a handshake deal, and I hadn't paid a thing, and they took the car for detailing while I fetched my checkbook. They accepted payment without a credit check--I have frozen all mine due to the recent security breaches--and I was sitting in my new Mustang within a couple hours. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in, and a thorough briefing on the new car's features. Since I bought on a Saturday, I had to bring the car in Monday so it could be taken out of 'transport mode,' which presumably prevents abuse of the cars before owners take possession. The parts counter personnel quickly got a tech to perform the operation and I was on my way in less than half an hour. I usually do my own maintenance, but with free oil changes for life I'll probably let Heritage check off all the boxes. read more

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with the recent purchase of a vehicle from your dealership. This marked my first experience with Heritage Ford, and I must commend the outstanding level of service provided. I was particularly impressed with the fairness of the deal offered, which truly exceeded my expectations as a customer. Throughout the process, I had the pleasure of interacting with Marcus Johnson and Fred, whose professionalism and dedication to ensuring a remarkable customer experience were truly commendable. Thanks to the exceptional service and genuine care exhibited by Johnson, Fred, and the entire team at Heritage Ford, my overall experience was nothing short of excellent. I am genuinely grateful for the attention to detail and personalized assistance that I received. As a result of the outstanding service I encountered, I would not hesitate to consider returning to Heritage Ford for future automotive needs. I am also inclined to share my positive experience with my acquaintances, as I believe that exceptional service deserves to be recognized and shared. Thank you once again for the exceptional service and for setting a high standard of customer care. I look forward to any future interactions with Heritage Ford. read more

After a disappointing experience at a south valley dealership, a family member referred me to Modesto where she had recently purchased a vehicle. Since it was on my way home to the Bay Area, I figured why not...I'm glad I did. Oscar was my first point of contact as I had gone through Costco's auto program. He made the purchasing decision easy as he was upfront and respectful throughout the appointment. When my new Escape arrived ahead of schedule (I customized it), I returned to finalize the purchase. From there, Rocky guided me along each stage of my visit. He stuck with me and made what can be an intimidating process instead feel like I was dealing with family. When everything was completed, Rocky spent time showing me all the features my new Escape has, hooked up my iPhone to Bluetooth, and went along for my first drive in my new car. We even tried out the self-park feature which is awesome by the way. You're awesome Rocky! First class experience all the way and a convenient location off the 99, making easy to stop by for scheduled service when I visit my family in the valley. Thank you Heritage for setting the bar of what a quality car buying experience should be. read more

Let me just say that my heart was set on a Mazda... but I drove off with a Ford and got more than just a vehicle. Little did I know the inquiry I made online during my lunch would turn into me driving off the lot with 2019 car keys in my hand the same day! Life time oil changes and the warranties were the BEST part of the deal! I was in shock about how smoothly it went. I'm the type that can't be sold--- You have to listen to me and be patient while explaining things or I won't budge! They asked me what I was looking for and delivered within my budget, and then some. Over the phone I spoke with a manager named Donna that said she'd take care of me. When I came in she put me in good hands with a man named Johnson that took care of me from start to finish. Thank goodness for me going in and for them truly backing up their words by taking care of me!! Thank you Donna and Johnson!! The lady in the office that went through the signing of my paperwork, thank you too! No more Lyft and Ubers for me unless I'm out of town or out for happy hour. Choose them, they don't disappoint!! read more

When you think about buying a new car, you expect a certain level of customer service. I was interest in getting a sports car and since I'm a young female some dealerships didn't take me too seriously. Chevy didn't even bother trying to run numbers by me, or offer a business card. I've never been a Ford person, but the moment I walked onto the lot I was greeted warmly by the salesman. My friend recommended I ask for Sam Doizer. The sales guys went in to call for Sam and he came out with a positive attitude and wanted to make sure I got to test drive exactly what I wanted! Although I wasn't ready to purchase that day, it didn't diminish Sam's attitude nor did his level of customer service drop! I was blown away, especially after the cold treatment I received at Chevy. When it came time when I was ready to buy, Sam looked all over for exactly what I wanted!! When you buy a car, you expect a certain level of customer service and Sam exceeded those expectations!! The whole experience was fun and easy, I recommended Sam for anyone looking to buy a car!! read more

My name is Richard Hansen and I reside in Gualala, California. In August 2014 I met Jerry and his beautiful wife Patti Urban as they turned around in my driveway near the end of a dead-end street. During our conversation I learned that he worked as a fleet sales manager with Heritage Ford in Modesto, California. I continued a friendship with Jerry and occasionally teased him about purchasing a bad-boy Mustang for Gail, my girlfriend. Well, I must state, that having purchased seven new vehicles during my long life, with all of the back and forth harassment with the salespersons and the dealership management, that this was my most seamless and pleasant purchase experience. Gail drove roughly 400 miles roundtrip to take delivery of the most awesome 2016 Ford Mustang that you could imagine and it was all thanks to the flawless effort of Jerry Urban. If you are desiring a Ford vehicle, I urge you to phone Jerry Urban at (209) 343-5223 for the ultimate customer experience and to perhaps spark a friendship with this special man. read more

We just bought a special order super duty from heritage. After considering Sonora and Oakdale, we decided to give our business to Modesto because of salesman Leo Rivas. Leo is not your typical car salesman. He is genuinely interested in helping you find a car that you are 100% happy with. We came in asking questions about specs and though Leo did not know all the answers, he asked others and spent time with us searching the computer for them. Leo helped us decide on the right vehicle for our growing family. He was upfront and honest about what we would expect with an order (timeline and price). When our new truck finally arrived, Leo spent time with us going over the features and small details of operation. When I showed him something he didn't already know, he was pleased to learn something new. Even now, after a month since we drove off the lot Leo still helps us out getting accessories and answering questions. If you are reading this on the fence about whether to do business with this dealership, go talk to Leo. read more

My wife and I bought an Escape from Heritage. We are from the Bay Area. We were having trouble finding one with the options pkg we wanted. Since it was going to be a long drive to Modesto, I spoke with Oscar and made sure we had a set price on the car we wanted before going. We got there and everything was as quoted. Oscar turned us over to Rocky who was just the best. He took us on a test drive and was very knowledgeable of all the features and took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered. Rocky took us through the initial paperwork and that went very fast, we didn't have any downtime at all. No waits! He never left us sitting. Gary in Finance finished the deal and was great. No high pressure tactics and he was really helpful. He got on-line and initiated a financing request with our credit union and presented us the information on the differences between financing at Heritage or at our credit union. Again, no high pressure tactics. Overall, just a really pleasant experience. read more

Oscar was the sales representative that helped both my mother and me find the perfect car/suv for our budget and lifestyles. I initially called Oscar because I was in an unwanted lease. I don't have great credit but i needed a car that I could afford and without restrictions on miles. Oscar, from the very beginning provided a lot of information and was very understanding of all my problems with trying to get a car. He was prompt in responding to every question I had and when he didn't know the exact answer, he went and found it. He was a great advocate when it came down to the terms of the contract. I truly appreciate him for all his assistance. He also helped my mom who had a bad experience at another dealership. He was kind and compassionate and great with helping her. I feel blessed that Oscar was the one who answered my call. He still texts me to make sure I am satisfied with the car. My mother and I are happy to have joined the Ford family. read more

I just recently purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium from Heritage Ford, and I could not be happier with both the car and the fantastic service I received from Luis Rodriguez! I was not too happy with the service I received from the first salesman who treated me poorly because of my age. As a young professional I was extremely offended and nearly walked off the lot, but once Luis took over I knew he was the one I wanted to purchase the car from. He never pressured me to buy and always made sure I was making informed decisions. He educated me on all of the different vehicle options and provided me with all the necessary information to choose the mustang that best fit my lifestyle. He was professional, personable, and provided me with his honest opinion instead of cookie cutter answers. I would recommend him to people of ALL ages looking to buy a car! He made buying my first car an enjoyable process. Thank you Luis Rodriguez!!! read more

I purchased my truck here approx 10 months ago...and everything went great. Professional salesman, etc. Not today however... my first request for a simple oil change (free lifetime oil changes) was by phone with a lady by the name of Gwenna (apologies if misspelled)... and what a snot. I'll even preface my complaint that everyone is entitled to a bad day...but she made feel like I was bothering her, and was very unprofessional. Total disregard for a customer service presentation. I normally do not complain... but she deserves it. Ten months ago I felt I chose the right dealership. Can't say that today. I asked to speak to a service manager... she put me on hold for 9 minutes and then parked on someone's VM. I had to call back 3 times to get someone to talk with me. I hung up feeling like- well they don't make any $$$$ on this oil change so screw the customer. I'll let all my friends know that are looking to buy. GREGG CRANDALL read more

On Tues I was heading to my Daughters Christmas recital in the evening when i rolled down my passenger window and it would not go back up, as soon as i that happened i was on the phone with my service advisor Omar Jimenez and he said bring it by. I dropped my family off and went straight there. Omar had the parts ready for me as soon as i pulled up to switch out. If that is not exceeding the customer experience i am not sure what else can top that. I would like to HIGHLY COMMEND Omar Jimenez (Service Advisor) and all Technicians that have worked on my 2006 F-150 Lariat the last 9yrs since purchase from Heritage Ford in 2005. From oil changes to Maintenance and for all my other concerns this service dept is all about delivering great customer Svc. Was looking into buying a new car on the Internet via True Car, typed in what I was looking for got several auto-notifications from other Ford Dealers, I got an call from Oscar Salas the Internet Specialist at Heritage Ford and decided to check it out... This is my first experience buying a brand new car so to say I had a lot of questions could not make up my mind, worried about being able to afford a new car is an understatement... Oscar was great, probably showed me every car on the lot until I found one I liked, 2015 Fusion SE with the 2.0 EcoBoost Engine, this is a great car, I am a commuter so I am in my car about 3.5 hours a day so I needed comfort and power this car has both.
