The price was so reasonable - less than a month at the storage facility! Joel and Jose arrived promptly on time after calling me and confirming the details. They moved everything so efficiently, leaving space for my Mom to move around the room with her walker. Really kind, professional and great guys - request them if you can! They did everything in the time I was quoted and did an amazing job! Some of those boxes were large and heavy... I'll use Alamo Movers for all of my future moves if I can! It is the owner that is terrible. I just moved 10 minutes down the road and had requested movers to move me out of the old place and into the new. When the first crew showed up they were under the assumption that they would only spend 3 hours packing up the truck and then leave when I clearly stated to the owner what I needed done. At the end of the 3 hours, my first apartment was only 75% packed into the truck. Then they had to leave and a brand new crew had to show up at the new place which took about 30 extra minutes. The second crew moved all of my stuff in, but failed to put my furniture back together leaving me to do it myself. At the very end they realized that they had shattered my $1,000 flat screen TV I had bought a year ago. They told me it was "policy" they would replace it. Knowing they had worked for hours on this job I politely paid them anyways thinking I was going to get reimbursed to replace the TV. I even tipped them. Talking to the owner the next day he denies that it was his workers and failed to reimburse me for the damaged they cause. How could it have been damaged by me when they were the ones moving it? He claimed that it was damaged in the drive to the new place but there was nothing that could have done the damage as the TV was heavily wrapped and protected from everything laying on a cushioned couch. This scum bag did the typical "it wasn't my workers it was your fault". So now I'm down $1,000 needing to replace a brand new TV AND I need to hire another crew to finish the move entirely. So I'm paying for a simple move, TWICE, plus I'm down an additional $1k. I would stay FAR away from these guys. They don't sign any paperwork saying they guarantee to replace what they break and they only deal in cash so you already know they don't pay their workers well and take the money for themselves. There are way too many professional moving companies out there to have to deal with companies like this. They have no idea how to schedule things properly and they will break all of your stuff and deny it and then stop responding. Never again!

I called this company to movers a 6 piece bedroom set, Spoke with Bill, I was quoted 380.00. 2 Men, and suppies. Everything was going well, 3 men arrived and did a great job. The home owner told me if I wanted to take the mattress I could. They were throwing it away. The mover in the room with me said they could put it on the truck but they had no mattress bag. I was told they would put it on a blanket on the truck floor. When we were ready to go the driver said he needed to make a few stops. I agreed the delivery could be a hour or two later. An hour and half later I get a text due to the mattress and extra items the price would be an extra 100.00. There was a mattress no other items. If I was told at the pickup location the mattress would be 100.00 extra I would have left it. Be up front in pricing. You scammed me for extra 100.00 but you lost my move with a bigger price tag. If you are looking for a moving company, keep looking. Not a honest company.

After the move, we discovered we were overcharged by $1,385. Since September, we have reached out multiple times by phone and email to address the discrepancy. We reviewed the quote line by line and clearly demonstrated the overcharge, yet the company has refused to issue a refund or even acknowledge the error in a meaningful way. It's unfortunate, because the moving team on-site was outstanding. However, the owner and office staff have been unresponsive, unhelpful, and unwilling to resolve a clear billing mistake. Their lack of accountability has overshadowed what could have been a positive experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company while the movers are great, the management and billing practices leave a lot to be desired.

I'm sorry if me being gay made Frank and his coworker feel uncomfortable. They probably should have said so immediately and not have taken so much time to complete the job or offer to help move boxes around when they noticed there was still some time left. They both also lingered after to converse with me, both of them shook my hand and asked me to keep them in mind for future moves. Clearly, no one was flirting with anyone and no one felt uncomfortable. Joe, you just don't know how to act professionally. Update: After a rude message from their manager, Joe, implying the damage to the stuff they moved was possibly my fault, I have to lower their star rating. It's not as if I was requesting compensation for the damage, I just wanted to leave an honest review and still he felt the need to act combatively. When the first moving company I hired failed to confirm their services 48 hours before the move date I was forced to call around to find another company who could do the job on short notice. Well Move You 4 Less stepped up and they even showed up 30 minutes early. Which I appreciated because I wasn't forced to wait around. However, I can't honestly say that all of my belongings made it to my new place in one piece. Some items were damaged and because of that I cannot, in good conscience, leave them 5 stars. They were professional and worked quickly.
