This continues on until another guy drops 3 bins off a dolly. They were my collection of carousels from my late husband. Over twenty of them were broken! Irreplaceable!!! They only filled half the truck! I paid $2700 to move 45 minutes away. I didn't move any appliances, no couches, or living room tables. I did move 3 beds, 3 dressers and lots of boxes. But they could only fill half a truck? For $2700? Since I refused to pay more than that they stopped loading and said time ran out. Yes time ran out when they worked at a snails pace! What should have been one of the happiest days of my life turned into one of the worst! I spent the day crying over broken carousels. Scratched up dressers, called a liar and being ripped off! Overall they had the best rates and don't charge extra for the truck or the travel fee (which is actually a fee for the time it takes a moving company to get to your place and then back home after the job is done). They were a bit slow to respond at first, but were very helpful in helping us prep for the move to reduce cost (making sure all is packed, having boxes of similar size stacked together because that's how they move them - by size and not by room designation). And they hustled. The moved ended up taking longer than we anticipated (lots of stairs!) but they ended up charging us less than we thought - they stopped by for lunch on the way to the new place and didn't charge us for that time. I don't believe they're insured, so not sure if I would recommend them if you have a lot of stuff. But they took good care of our IKEA stuff and I will use them again next time we move.
