I noticed in his pictures that he participated in relief funds for disasters and repurposes/recycles the junk people want gone. He has a business ethics model with which I can identify. Secondly, but just as important, his prices were fair and his communication was efficient while being courteous. He is responsive and reasonable. No troubles with communication and organizing the move at all. Last and perhaps most important, his guys showed up on time (6 mins early) on the day of the move. Erik and Odell worked well with each other. They were both efficient and careful with our stuff. Erik is hearing impaired and I kept forgetting and sometimes saying things while standing behind him. However, that's my problem and not on him. Odell was personable and Erik is a very sweet person. As movers, excellent but also pleasant human beings. I did notice that Odell is a smoker but it isn't any of my business what he does on his own time. Just mentioning in case anyone else cares. There's an overload of dust and allergens with moving anyway so not a deal breaker for me. Oh! Odell was a godsend with having his tools with him! My hubby had gone to return our U-Box things and Odell took the legs/feet off my elliptical very quickly with great proficiency, with Erik's support, and we got the whole move done within our scheduled time without going over. Overall they had the best rates and don't charge extra for the truck or the travel fee (which is actually a fee for the time it takes a moving company to get to your place and then back home after the job is done). They were a bit slow to respond at first, but were very helpful in helping us prep for the move to reduce cost (making sure all is packed, having boxes of similar size stacked together because that's how they move them - by size and not by room designation). And they hustled. The moved ended up taking longer than we anticipated (lots of stairs!) but they ended up charging us less than we thought - they stopped by for lunch on the way to the new place and didn't charge us for that time. I don't believe they're insured, so not sure if I would recommend them if you have a lot of stuff. But they took good care of our IKEA stuff and I will use them again next time we move.

My positive experience started with my initial contact with Miss Angie. She let me know that they are a family owned business that takes pride in taking care of their customers. I have moved several times, but never out of state. Also, I was moving while Covid was still rampant. I had no idea what to expect, so I had so many questions. Miss Angie set up a video call so I could "walk her through my home." A couple of days later she gave me an estimate and didn't seem bothered by answering my countless questions. I appreciate it that they had several options, depending on how much help I needed for the move. On the day of the move, I met Alex, who assured me this would be a seamless process and he would personally make sure all of my belongings made it to my new home in TX. Sure enough, a few days later, Alex was the one pulling the semi truck up to my new home and organizing the activities of the move-in crew. He even gave some suggestions on where furniture should go. From beginning to end, the customer service was top-notch and I definitely feel like the money was well worth it.
